Sullivan's Falafel & Kebab / Döner Joint in Hannover

What would Hanover be without the most delicious kebab shop. Not only are Suad and Ubafka so warm, they also cook excellently. Fresh salads and crispy chicken with delicious dressings are available at the buffet. I can only recommend you 🤗😋

The skewers are homemade and the selection of sauces is also very pleasant. I ordered a kebab with tzatziki and garlic sauce, with a pomegranate sauce on top as standard. Unfortunately, the amount of meat is very limited. Unfortunately I didn't see or taste anything of tzatziki and garlic. The kebab was EXTREMELY spicy, even though I didn't order anything spicy. Since I'm allergic to spicy food, the 8 euros were unfortunately not a good investment :/ if you can eat spicy food, you're welcome to eat there, but I would strongly advise against it for everyone else!

We had a kebab bag and a falafel box. Great taste. Salads, sauces and meat are freshly prepared and visually appealing. Best herb sauce :D We now only get kebab and falafel here.

I happened to come into the store with a small emergency - in transit and my cell phone battery was empty, with the details of my accommodation for the night on it. I received a very helpful welcome and was helped very nicely despite the store being very full. After looking at the menu, I spontaneously ordered something there, I had the falafel box. Super tasty and freshly prepared, large completely reasonable for the price. Clear recommendation for anyone who is a fan of special, delicious food!

The portion of my meat in my chicken box fit on one fork. That was pure impudence. I said this too and was then given more meat, but I also had to pay for it. A "then small kebab box" cost 9€! Simply outrageous. I wasn't satisfied with the portion and the waiting time was relatively long, considering there was nothing going on. Very disappointing. Price-performance ratio wasn't suitable in my case.

The taste of the kebab is okay, nothing more, nothing less. A bit small but sufficient. The service is super friendly and competent. However, the food box offered is just embarrassing. I'd rather give away my money as little as there is in it. Halloumi is fried far too thin and greasy, I could have been offered chips instead. Unless you want to get rid of your money quickly without getting anything in return, I wouldn't recommend the store.

Super delicious food with homemade recommendations and friendly staff.

For me it's one of the best kebab shops in Hanover. Everything freshly prepared, large portions to fill you up. Super friendly operators who put a lot of effort into it and also like to try out new things! The selection of dishes is sufficient and there is something for everyone. We always enjoy going to Suat.

My €7.50 food box wasn't even half full. And I got a mini dollop of sauce. I would absolutely not recommend it and will definitely not be coming back.

Update: I came back, ordered a falafel box and it was a bit of a joke. 3 falafel balls with a tiny amount of salad for €7.5. My partner ordered the chicken wrap and it was very small. I guess the quality isn’t consistent. Original: One of the best chicken wraps I tried in Hannover! I liked the extra addition of hummus, which most places don't serve. The staff was nice and friendly. I'll definitely come back.

Little, small portion, too expensive catastrophe

The best kebab I've eaten so far! Meat was perfect, sauces were very tasty, salads were fresh and sufficiently spread on the kebab. The kebab wasn't stuffed full so half of it falls out when eating, like in many other "kebab shops". The staff were very accommodating and extremely friendly! The store was very clean and there is a small number of seating options to eat on site. All in all very recommendable! When we're in town again, we'll definitely come back 🤝🏼

I would give 10 stars if I had the choice. Clearly: by far the best kebab I've eaten so far! The meat was incredibly good, the salad was fresh and crunchy and the bread was fluffy and crispy. And everything is distributed in the bread in such a way that you get a bit of everything in every bite. As it should be. We were warmly welcomed and served very nicely. I found the restaurant with 4.9 stars on Google. So today I ordered a salad and a hallumi bowl. The waitress was super friendly and even packed extra dressing for me. The food was very fresh and tasted something special! I really enjoyed the pickled carrots and the sauces rounded it off very well! I can recommend it 1000%🙏🏽 Thank you for the delicious food.

Excellent food! Not just the usual offering, but also daily specials such as curries, which are also vegan. Perfect! And what I think is particularly great is that you can tell that the food here is prepared with love and that the well-being of the guests is important to you. The owners are very welcoming. I really enjoy coming here regularly :)

Hammer. I'm a kebab graveyard and eat it way too much and often. And I travel around Germany a lot. For me, this is the best kebab I've eaten so far. Discovered today by accident. Crispy, delicious bread (not the standard pita you usually get), super fresh salad, delicious beef (currently on Tuesdays if I understood correctly, otherwise chicken). The sauces are not just slapped on, but carefully smeared into the bread (like when you smear a sandwich). Yes, the kebab doesn't just cost 3.50 euros. But in contrast to other shops that charge the same price (almost new standard) where you get a 2 euro kebab for 8 euros, there is one here that is worth every cent.

Super nice little shop with a friendly/family atmosphere. The food was super tasty. I have rarely eaten such delicious meat. The young lady and her husband were both super nice and accommodating. If I'm in Hanover again I'll 100% come back! Thank you for the hospitality. 🙂

I tried and of course tested a lot of kebab shops in Hanover, but unfortunately most of them disappointed me massively due to quality reasons. The first time I went to Sullivan's Döner Joint, I was of course skeptical and went into the store with great curiosity. Here are the points that absolutely blew me away: 1. You will be welcomed with open arms: That was an experience. You walk into the store and you feel at home. It didn't feel like I was trying to grab a quick bite to eat at a snack bar, but rather like I was a guest at someone's house (as if an old school friend had invited you to his new digs). 2. The food is really served with love: Even if you have to wait a bit to get your food, it was worth every minute. The owner really takes the time to explain the ingredients to you and also lets you try the meat before it is served to you. The best thing was that the meat I got was real meat and not cheap mince that is then sold at overpriced prices. Everything is produced and served by hand. The ratio of meat and salad is perfect. You get something balanced - nothing falls from the bag to the table and the best thing is that you don't have an unpleasant feeling of fullness afterwards when you've eaten your fill. 3. The team itself: You can see the dynamic in this family, as everyone is at the forefront and does their best to keep this shop running. The owners left us and the guests with such a wonderful feeling the first time that we really wanted to come back a second time (which of course we did). I can really only recommend this shop to you and recommend that you definitely try this kebab. Your Hannover Memes team

A small, inconspicuous shop on Aegidientorplatz. The store is super clean inside and the employees are very friendly and accommodating. The food came very quickly and tasted great. The sauces and salads deviate from the classic kebab shop and offer a great alternative. I can only recommend this store to everyone

At Sullivan’s I ate the best kebab from Hanover. The pizzas and calzones are also amazing, so definitely worth a visit.

Total lecker, gute Auswahl auch an vegetarischen Speisen, gute nette Atmosphäre… was will man mehr 👍

Sehr liebevoll zubereitete Falafel Taschen - auch vegan - serviert durch zuvorkommenden Service. Sitzplätze limitiert auch vor Ort. Essen wie bei Freunden.

Vielfältige Auswahl an Gerichten. Die Qualität ist sehr gut. Nach dem Verzehr fühlt man sich nicht schlecht wie bei manch anderen Kebab Imbissen. Pommes und Falafel werden frisch zubereitet. Absolut ein Besuch wert.

Unglaublich nettes Personal, Qualitativ, sehr preiswert und leckeres essen, sowie sauberes Ambiente. Für einen „Dönerladen“ aller erste Klasse.

Endlich ein guter Döner zwischen Aegi, Hildesheimer und Maschsee. Dieses kleine aber feine Kebab-Haus ist eine wirkliche Bereicherung. Die Saucen sind selbst gemacht, das Fleisch gut ausgesucht und die beiden Betreiber sind obendrein echt nett. Ich freue mich schon auf den nächsten (Abhol-)besuch...🌮🧆🌯

Super lekkere pizza's en falafel. De dame achter de toonbank was zeer aardig en vroeg wat we op de pizza wilden, heel persoonlijk. Vriendelijk. En heel erg lekker.

Sullivans Döner Joint ist eine moderne und gelungene Interpretation eines Kebab Imbiss. Die Falafel-Tasche war sehr gut und für 6€ kann man da nicht meckern🙂

Das ist noch ein richtiger Döner! Knusprig, Fleisch ist gut, Saucen auch und dazu noch randvoll befüllt. Sehr sehr gut.

Sehr zu empfehlen! Kein Standard-Imbiss sondern ein mit Liebe geführter Familienbetrieb! Hier findet man beste Zutaten! Der Inhaber pflegt eine sehr gesunde und sympathische Unternehmensphilosophie und hat für die Gäste immer offenere Ohren! In der Südstadt kann da kein Dönerladen mithalten!

Sehr freundlicher und liebenswerter Inhaber, ich schreibe die Bewertung noch bevor ich weiß wie das Essen schmeckt, aber wenn der Erste Eindruck in einem Dönerladen gut ist, ist das die halbe Miete. Deshalb 5 Sterne für alles außer das Essen, das müsst ihr dann selber herausfinden.

Wirklich unfassbar gut! War heute spontan mit dort einen Döner holen und Oh Mann auf was für ein Geschmackserlebnis hab ich mich da eingelassen! Das Brot schön Knusprig, das Fleisch zart und sehr lecker dazu noch Extras die ich noch nie auf einem Döner gesehen oder gegessen habe die das ganze super abrunden und ergänzen. Und das für einen unglaublich fairen Preis. Service war sehr freundlich. Das Ambiente dort sieht sehr schön und ansprechend aus. Alles ist sehr ausgeräumt und schön clean gehalten. (Was teilweise scheinbar heute eine Seltenheit sonst ist). Normalerweise schreibe ich eigentlich keine Rezensionen und Ich war auch schon in vielen Läden die Döner anbieten. Aber DAS war mit ABSTAND einer der BESTEN DÖNER die ich JE GEGESSEN HABE! einfach danke für dieses Geschenk an Geschmack wow also mega gut 11/10 Punkten und wenn ich könnte würde ich 6 Sterne geben! Ganz klare Empfehlung.

Nicht nur ein absoluter Augenschmaus, sondern auch ein echter Gaumenschnaus. Ich war hier schon mit ein 2 Freunden und bin jedes Mal wieder überrascht wie gut der Döner hier ist. Das war glaube ich mein 14ter Besuch, und jeder war wie der erste Besuch dort. 5/5 Sterne weiter so!!!
