Wirklich köstliches Essen und fantastischer Service! Wir bestellten Döner und Pide, und alles schmeckte frisch und perfekt zubereitet. Das Fleisch war saftig und geschmackvoll, und die Pide war perfekt gebacken mit knusprigem Boden und leckerer Füllung. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, lächelnd und aufmerksam, was den Besuch noch angenehmer machte. Es herrschte eine gemütliche Atmosphäre, und man fühlte sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen. Sehr empfehlenswert für alle, die gutes türkisches Essen lieben. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Wir haben gestern den Geburtstag meiner Tochter da gefeiert mit 15 Personen das Essen war Top und der Service des Personals war einfach nicht zu toppen es wurde ständig nachgefragt ob was fehlt oder ob wir was brauchen alle Gäste waren sehr sehr zufrieden mit dem Essen und allem drum herum einfach nur zu empfehlen das Essen einfach nur wunderbar 👍👌 einen grossen Lob an den Chef und das ganze Personal von Istanbul Ocakbasi🌹

Etwas verarscht fühlt man sich beim Anblick diesem mickrigen Döner der 9 Euro kostet. An Fleisch wird bei den Deutschen gespart und bei den selben Landsleuten wird voll drauf gehauen und gegönnt mit Fleisch. Ich kenne den Laden seit mehreren Jahren und bin einfach nur maßlos enttäuscht. Danke

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und noch freundlicher bedient. Die Dönerrolle war ausgezeichnet und auch der Tee mit Baklava ist sehr zu empfehlen!

Ich bin wirklich enttäuscht. Als langjähriger Stammgast hätte ich eine solche Erfahrung in diesem Laden nicht erwartet. Ich habe heute einen Dönerteller ohne Salat und ohne Saucen zum Mitnehmen bestellt und dafür 14 € bezahlt. Was ich erhalten habe, steht jedoch in keinem Verhältnis zum Preis: geschätzt etwa 100 g Fleisch und eine sehr geringe Portion Pommes – alles lieblos in einem Einweg-Plastikbehälter verpackt. Das hat nichts mehr mit fairer Preisgestaltung zu tun. Für diesen Preis erwarte ich eine angemessene Portion und Qualität, wie man sie früher hier auch bekommen hat. Stattdessen fühlt man sich als Kunde schlicht nicht ernst genommen. Besonders enttäuschend ist das, wenn man den Laden regelmäßig unterstützt hat. Vertrauen wird hier leider nicht wertgeschätzt. Für mich war das definitiv der letzte Besuch. Ich werde den Laden weder weiterempfehlen noch im Freundes- und Bekanntenkreis unterstützen.

Beste orientalische Küche – frisch, authentisch und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Döner ist der Beste in ganz Hannover – egal ob Hähnchen oder Kalbfleisch. Der Service ist hervorragend und die Zutaten sind immer frisch. Kein Instagram- oder TikTok-Hype wie bei vielen anderen überbewerteten Läden. Hier zählt echte, professionelle und ( EHRLICHE ) Arbeit.!

I left hungry and disappointed. I ordered a baked doner kebab with cheese. The dish initially looked nice—melted cheese on top and extra pita bread. But underneath the cheese was... pita bread, broken into pieces. There was almost no meat! Almost the entire dish consisted of pieces of bread (pita bread), a bit of meat on top, and the whole thing was hidden under a thin layer of cheese. It was the most expensive doner kebab dish, but in reality, it was just soggy bread. This is how people cook who want to fill their stomachs without spending money. The pita bread they serve on the side is apparently meant to be eaten with the soggy bread from the plate. Most likely, they use pita bread left over from other guests (why else would they break it up and hide it under a thin layer of meat?). There was almost no meat in the dish at all. A total disappointment.

I can't recommend this place. This casserole was the most expensive, but it turned out to be poor food. For the first time in my life, I ate a doner casserole with a flatbread inside. I suspect it was added to reduce the meat, although the price is the same as for a regular baked doner kebab, where the meat is served without bread. I'm very disappointed about this—it didn't mention anything about it on the menu.

I actually planned to eat there, but since I was feeling very unwell, I had the food delivered. I ordered a veal doner kebab and two lahmacun. The doner kebab was delicious, and the lahmacun were simply fantastic.

A slice of Turkey in Vahrenheide – charcoal aroma and hospitality! is a definite recommendation! You can immediately taste the love and fresh ingredients used here. The meat was incredibly juicy, perfectly seasoned, and had that incomparable smoky aroma. The fresh bread and the mezze (appetizers) are also a delight. The service was very attentive and friendly; we felt welcome from the very beginning. An authentic, cozy atmosphere. If you're looking for truly traditional and high-quality Turkish cuisine, this is the place to be. Great value for money. We'll definitely be back!

Once is enough! I ordered a small kebab plate to go. I was offered a tea while I waited, which I thought was very nice, so I sat down. Then an employee came and placed the tea on my table as he passed by, without even looking at me. Of course, I thanked them politely anyway. My order was ready, and I drove home in five minutes. Then the disappointment: the veal was quite dry, and the chicken was also streaked with gristle and fat. The fries were saturated with fat and therefore not crispy. They also served a shaggy sauce in small plastic bowls, which was great because it covered the meat. Also, tzatziki in a separate bowl, quite runny, and simply yogurt with herbs. They also served bread. For €9.50, the portion size was okay, but the quality, unfortunately, was not. Maybe I was just having a bad day, but I definitely won't try it again.

We happened to be there for the first time on the way to East Westphalia and were very pleasantly surprised! A large, clean snack bar with excellent food. We couldn't manage our plate of Iskender kebab (next time we'll only order 1 portion). The starters were very fresh and tasty - the salad was good and plentiful. We will eat there again!

I ordered and paid for a large plate of kebab. Got the contents of a small kebab plate. The guy at the counter also said he could make it with chips and rice. But to my surprise, there were very few fries at home. Never again in this store. That was the most expensive kebab I had in Hanover and the least I was allowed to eat.

Our family is a big fan of Istanbul Ocakbaşı. 👩🏻👦🏻👦🏼👦👨🏽 No other restaurant or café in Hanover has been able to surpass it. The food is always fresh, the staff is friendly, and the hygiene is excellent. The salads and dips here are freshly prepared, unlike many other restaurants where starters such as dips often come from cans or ready-made jars. Here you can taste the fresh, chopped vegetables. I know that many restaurants often lack cleanliness, but everything is great here. You can even see that the employees enjoy the food themselves, which speaks for the quality. The meat quality is always excellent and tender. We especially love the grill plates, but the various Adana dishes and the burgers are also super tasty. The portions are generous, so the whole family will be full and satisfied. Our friends are big fans too. I highly recommend Istanbul Ocakbaşı to anyone looking for high quality and delicious food.💯

I ordered a fallafel pocket without iceberg lettuce and got three red and white fallafels with a little sauce - unfortunately a mini dish for the price; and unfortunately the taste with the almost burnt fallen leaves is not good either :/
