Unfortunately, my visit this time was very disappointing. 1. The ordering kiosks are extremely slow and unreliable. 2. The receipt printer was broken on all the kiosks – no receipt could be printed. 3. The kiosks were dirty and urgently need cleaning. 4. The menu navigation is completely unintuitive: Instead of selecting bread and toppings step by step like at the counter, you have to click through unclear images and made-up names without really knowing what you're ordering. This completely defeats the purpose of Subway – customizing your sandwich during the ordering process. If I want to choose a pre-defined menu without any input on how it's prepared, I might as well go to McDonald's. A real shame.

I was there on February 4th around noon. The food was fresh and tasty, however, the employee was unfriendly and couldn't explain how to use the coupon in a friendly or competent way at the checkout. So, the friendliness leaves much to be desired. I was there again on November 9th, and it was a complete mess. Employees were shouting out numbers even though the food wasn't ready and were processing other orders first. Nothing had improved since February 4th.

Okay, the work certainly isn't exciting. But more attention to detail is definitely warranted. The sub itself was sparsely topped, and the toppings were poorly distributed. And then they charge full price because they're chatting and forget about the daily specials. Good staff is hard to find, but at least checking the quality of the place every now and then would be appropriate. Update 10/30/2025 - Honestly, just close the place down if you can't be bothered. Subs not toasted, the damn dipper not toasted, and no dip for the dipper - how badly can you actually work?

Simply disappointing and unsanitary! We were there on the evening of October 21, 2025, and could hardly believe the state the store was in. When we arrived, both employees were standing outside, smoking and playing on their phones – while several customers inside were standing at the ordering terminals and eating. Inside, everything was filthy: dirty tables, an empty bag of chips on the floor, scattered receipts, and half-eaten cookies on a table. After smoking, no one washed their hands; they immediately put on gloves – absolutely unsanitary! Our subs were packaged as if they were for takeout, even though we wanted to eat there. When we asked, we were told there were no trays, even though several were clearly visible at the return counter. During our approximately 40-minute visit, the employees stood outside again and did nothing in the store. These conditions are not worth the visit and the price you pay!

Worst Subway branch I've ever been to. Order terminals don't work and don't respond. Order taking is dragged out to the limit, obscuring the view of the counter. Dirty tables and seats. The Subway feeling is completely gone. Preparation time is far too long, despite the "savings" provided by the terminals.

After my order was incorrect because the staff preferred to chat (using uncustomer-friendly language, swear words, etc.), they corrected the order. Unfortunately, the order was still incorrect. Things can't get any slower these days. Chef Andreas is still a disaster and unfriendly to guests and staff. Employees take forever to make the simplest subs. Servers don't press the numbers on the order terminal even though orders are ready, so no one knows whether their food has been made or not.

We've eaten there several times. I find the ordering terminals problematic, as they often don't print receipts, and other people sometimes have a hard time using them. When I asked the employee if he could help the elderly gentleman or take the order manually, all he replied was, "You can only order at the terminal here, I can't help you." My problem is simply that I ordered a completely different bread and suddenly got whole wheat instead of cheese oregano. That's completely unacceptable... Since I didn't get a receipt, I couldn't prove what I ordered and was forced to take it as is. The sub could definitely be packed more; two tomato slices per 30cm sub is pretty sad...

Yesterday, my wife and I bought a sandwich. The walk there was long. There were no customers in front of us; the salad and meat counter is hidden behind a wall of displays that you MUST use to order. Contact with an employee, who is usually in the back of the warehouse, only occurs when the baguette is handed over to the customer. You're forced, like at a vending machine, to order your food at the display, where 100 other customers had previously used their fingers to do it. McDonald's flair. By the time you've ordered two subs together, 10 minutes have passed. Ordering from the employee would have taken two minutes... As mentioned, you can't see the goods anymore because everything is hidden behind screens. You can only guess whether the salad is fresh. The seating was so dirty, I didn't even want to sit there while waiting for my food. Once and never again

My last time. I used to be a big Subway fan, but yesterday was my last time. I ordered two subs. The chicken teriyaki had almost no meat, just two small pieces. The sauce I chose was concentrated on one spot, not the whole sub. With the other sub, my refusal to order salad was consistently ignored; it had more salad than chicken on it. The taste was no comparison to last year; they're clearly skimping on quality.

That was it for Subway for me. Ordering machines, ingredients hidden behind a wall, and microwaved potato lattices with a mushy texture. If that's the future, then goodbye. Oh yes, the time the staff spends off-screen waiting for the signal to alert them that an order has been placed could also be used to clean the tables. The "restaurant" was completely empty inside, but not a single table was clean and crumb-free.

Digital orders are difficult. I waited an hour for my food myself, and I noticed that others waited about 45-60 minutes. There were only two employees on site. One worked continuously, making the subs, while the other just chatted and kept disappearing to the back. I find it very unfair between them. I hope Subway at least tracks how many orders each person is processing on their computers and pays them better or worse accordingly.

Ambience: Simple, clean, and modern Service: Orders are placed via self-service kiosks. The selection is simple, and you can customize the sub at the kiosk, such as size, bread, cheese, toppings, sauce, etc. It's actually very intuitive and quick... I don't understand the problem some people have in the reviews here. Payment is made at the kiosk using a card. You can track the processing of orders on a display at the front of the counter... a completed order is usually displayed as a number... but at least it's marked as "ready for pickup" on the status display. Wait times: It took a little longer, but it was also busy. Everything was within reason, I'd say. Food: Tasted very good and was prepared correctly as specified in the order. We ordered three subs and everyone loved them. Would definitely recommend this place.

We've been there twice so far, and there was nothing to complain about, so I thought I'd read the feedback and was simply shocked. I can't relate to 99% of the feedback. The food was quick, fresh, delicious, and simply excellent. It's true that there are only one or two employees there, but even they are very friendly and helpful. The only drawback is the tables, but when people are constantly ordering and there's only one employee there, you simply can't wipe the tables. The shop is beautifully decorated, the upholstery is amazingly soft, and, as I said, all in all, simply fantastic! I'd be happy to go back.

We wanted to order two subs at the terminal. Payment wasn't possible, so we wanted to pay in cash. A young lady was ahead of us at the checkout line, and she seemed to be having trouble with the special requests for her order. While she was talking to the two men behind the counter, both busy with their orders, we stood behind her and waited for about 10 minutes. During this time, five other orders came in, which were also processed, but ours, of course, wasn't. We left without eating, and we won't be going to Subway again.

One star is ridiculously high for this hellhole. It used to be a good place, but then they introduced self-service tramminals. Since then, the quality has plummeted. Wait times are generally 30 minutes (so much for fast food). After a half-hour wait, you get your sub, and everything is incorrectly tossed. Even on holidays when the place is full, there's only one employee there (a one-hour wait is inevitable). The preparation is also pathetic (almost no sauce, or it's been in the oven for too short/too long). Sad.

We've been there twice since the terminals came into existence, both times ingredients/extras were missing from the subs and you only noticed it when you got home. Wouldn't be so dramatic if you didn't have to pay extra for the ingredients/extras, annoying if they were missing. The employees are friendly in most cases, so you can't complain. Only the thing with the terminals should be revised again. Before, I always thought it was really good when you could see what was coming to the sub and be able to communicate directly with the employees.

Because the ordering terminals are new, it takes a lot longer to get your sub. If there are only other guests in front of you, it can sometimes take up to half an hour to get your sub including your order. In addition, a few terminals fail every now and then, which makes it take even longer. Extremely bad service! The manager doesn't leave at all, just complains and leaves the guests completely alone with the ordering terminals. You can't enter any discounts there and everything has to be ordered separately at the checkout, which takes an extremely long time. As a customer you also have to feel bad that you can't manage to enter the discount at the terminal on your own and the manager just complains that his lunch is getting cold and he can't take a break. I ordered two subs using the new ordering terminals (ordering from the employees is no longer possible). One of them should be with spicy ingredients, one without spicy ingredients (no onion, no hot sauce, no jalapeños)… what did we get two subs with only spicy ingredients. Unfortunately, due to the terminal right in front of the preparation, you could no longer see the employees preparing the sub. After the order was finally ready after a wait of over 30 minutes, the error was only noticed at home when unpacking. Since the second person cannot tolerate spicy products, the meal was obviously over for her (since the sauce was everywhere). Conclusion: Huge failure and money spent for nothing...

“Very disappointing” I recently went to Subway in Osnabrück and it was a really disappointing experience. The employees were extremely rude and seemed annoyed from the start. Questions about the ingredients were answered rudely and you felt completely unwelcome. Particularly annoying: Even though I was there 30 minutes before closing time, I was told that I was no longer allowed to eat on site. Instead I was asked to take my food away - which was anything but customer friendly. I have never experienced such poor service in a subway. I definitely won't go here again!

Hello, Today at 2 p.m. I placed a larger order for my family at the Subway on Pagenstecherstrasse as part of the Cupon promotion, which consisted of 4 30cm subs, one 15cm subs, two cookies and four drinks. I handed the four affected paper coupons to the employee so that he was aware of my order. 1.) He left out an entire sub despite repeated requests from me 2.) Despite my request to keep the receipt, the employee then took it and threw it away after something was exchanged back and forth between the two employees in Arabic, which meant that I could no longer understand the order 3.) For some reason, the four coupons had to be debited individually (?) and the employee at the checkout was visibly overwhelmed and, even though I asked him several times to add the one 30 cm sub to the order, he didn't do so did. 4.) The employees threw the subs into the paper bag in a very rude and annoyed manner, which caused one of them to open and the contents of the sub to spread throughout the bag. As a result, I paid more than what I got because the 30 cm sub was billed based on the coupon, but as I said, I never received it. We tried to call several times afterwards, but no one answered. I can well understand that the job is stressful, especially since the store only has one cash register and it took up a lot of time and space. Nevertheless, I paid for both the food and the service and expect that I will be treated accordingly and that the food will be handled carefully and my order will be put together sensibly.

I love Subway but every time I go there the occupancy is so uneven. Sometimes there's a lot of cream cheese on it and sometimes it's just very thin. And if you say that you would like a little more cheese on it, you will simply be charged twice. So maybe you should train the employees better or find a regulation so that the baguettes are always topped with the same amount as best as possible.

Employees are too slow and don't even manage to accept deposit bottles, although as an employee of a SUBWAY I know exactly what you have to enter in the cash register and THAT it works. Benches much too narrow. If you want a little more dining space or legroom than a tall man, this isn't the place for you. The portioning is also not even, I had a lot put on it by a lady and a friend of mine had very little put on it by a young gentleman. All in a disgrace and a disaster for someone who works in a restaurant of the same chain.

The new cashier in the black shirt is incompetence personified. Yesterday I wanted to redeem a voucher for 1 sub and half for free. At the checkout, when I scanned the subcard, the cashier told me that I had chosen the wrong voucher because she didn't see half the sub. She immediately became emotional and yelled at me that I was stupid and had misunderstood the voucher. The end of the story was that she didn't see half of the sub next to her and that's why she thought she would shit on a customer so much that he would never come back

Oh well. So it's normal that the food never looks like the pictures. But so far away in reality? The Nacho Chicken Cheese had absolutely nothing to do with nacho or cheese. You couldn't even taste the 3 thin slices of cheese. The store also informs you that only 1 coupon per person can be redeemed per day. But this is not on the coupon, not even in the small print. The legality of this should therefore be questioned. On the Internet it also says “per transaction”, which would be the usual way for coupons. All in all weird and not worth the price. I used to be completely full after a 15cm sub, but now I wasn't even slightly full because the sub was so sparsely topped. The tables were also dirty, which struck me as negative, especially because the store was busy.

I was there three times today, the service today was great and everything went smoothly. The other two times it was a complete disaster. The first time I waited there for over 30 minutes because the two men (waiters) said one was just doing the checkout and the other was just standing around at the checkout. At the. The second time there was only one of the two there and it wasn't really any better, not really keen and not really friendly. In addition, my sub was hardly topped with salad etc. and I had to point out to him that I would like more salad. So all in all a real disaster. Except for the nice lady today who put her heart and soul into it.

Incredibly incompetent. It takes 40 minutes for 8 people at lunchtime for such a huge franchise. One takes the order, fills it, puts it in the oven and then fills it again. The second employee relaxes at the checkout, where someone only arrives every 5 minutes. craziness!

The food itself is okay, but the manager saves a lot on the ingredients, so the price-performance ratio is no longer right. 3 small pieces of onion and hardly any meat are placed on the sub. The bread was burnt and black, and you have to pay more than 10 euros for it. The shop is often dirty, the tables are sticky with sauces and covered in crumbs. However, most of the employees are nice (apart from the manager). Wait times are also often very long, especially on Thursdays when the sub of the day is the fajita. Then it's better to go to another location, even if it's a little further away, because you get something for your money there!!

Very nice, the fries were fresh and the meat was fresh too. Unlike other Burger Kings, the sandwich was warm. In my opinion, this is the best Burger King in Osnabrück.

On site you are forced to order 0.33l cans for €2.50; for delivery and take-away you can take a 1.25l for €3.90. I think it's kind of cheeky that you have to pay twice as much for drinks if you eat there. The food itself is absolutely average and nothing special. I won't eat here again.
