The subs here are often not split down the middle, but are more in the direction of 1/3 sub. As far as the rest is concerned, I can only agree with the previous speakers.

Worst sub ever. 12.10. at 1:45 p.m The only employee is sitting in front of the entrance door smoking, so you have to wait until she's finished. Then she doesn't even wash her hands. She then scratches her head several times with her gloves; she is unfriendly and sulky. Sandwich is filled incorrectly and without any effort, tables are dirty. Yes, good staff is hard to come by, but that's really not possible.

There was very little choice because many products were no longer in stock (9 p.m.). A large part of the restaurant was cordoned off and you could only sit at two tables that were already occupied. The toilet facilities were in a subterranean condition and one wondered on a Saturday evening when they were last cleaned or checked despite there being 3 people on staff in the store.

Was there this afternoon (09/02/24) with a friend. We both ordered a Chick'n'Garlic, as it said on our receipts. We got something completely different. The young employee spoke on the phone with in-ear headphones while ordering and preparing the food. The order in which the subs were served was also different than what you are used to (vegetables and sauce were added to the sub before it was baked). In addition, communication was slow and German language skills were unfortunately only sparse. The employee dropped a dressing bottle open-first on the floor and didn't even wipe it down, let alone get a new bottle. We then took the subs with us because there was obviously no improvement or new subs without defects to be expected. Subway Herford used to be really good, but now it's better to switch to other branches. Too bad.

When we arrived at the parking lot, an employee was sitting in front of the door. When we got closer, she groaned and made a face the whole time as if she didn't feel like it. When we were standing at the counter, the next thing came: yes, what do you want, wow, ok, again super unfriendly while we were taking the dishes, the two girls didn't listen at all and started discussing all the time. I wouldn't have said that, no, it's clear, I'll stay silent. There was no good evening even though we said it and there was no please no thank you when paying even though we said it too. Aug 23, 2024 8:48 p.m. Super unfriendly employees who don't feel like doing their job and let all the guests feel it. No wonder that the Herford location is always empty. It's a shame after the last time the boss served me, I thought things were going up and I could come back more often, mistake on my part, I'm going to Bielefeld again. Thanks for nothing

I go to Subway very often (almost every week, often several times), usually in Bielefeld or Gütersloh. But what happened to me in Herford cannot be increased by incompetence. I wanted to redeem a reward (2x15cm sub) and the cashier refused to cash in my 30cm sub as 2x 15cm, which is normal and has worked in all branches so far. She said they weren't allowed to do it and it didn't work. This is an absolute disgrace. Because I had a good day, I paid normal. Please urgently train your staff regarding bonuses!!

During my visit to Subway today on July 27th, 24, I ordered a sub and a wrap (see also photo/name: Veggie Delite), I wanted to buy the wrap plain (without toppings). The Subway employee then said that she had to call her boss because she didn't know how to bill him. For your information: in various other Subway branches I was made aware that this wasn't an issue - but you would have to charge it like one with toppings. I was always fine with that. Back to the Subway employee from Herford, who told me after the phone call with her boss that she couldn't sell it to me like that. So I told her, just calculate it for me with toppings and then it'll be fine. No sooner said than done. Shortly before eating, I discovered a lot of green dots/spots on the wrap (on the edge and in the middle) and went straight back to the Subway employee to show her. She then replied that they were freshly delivered this morning. I told her: "If that's the case, please bring me another one." She left for a moment and came back and said there were no more wraps. That's strange, I replied, because a delivery was made today - on a Saturday and it was just before 3 p.m. Then came her answer: “7 wraps were delivered.” I told her that didn’t make any sense (we’re talking about a franchise restaurant here!). During that time, she took pictures of the wrap and sent them to her boss, saying that her colleague told her about this at the shift change with the delivery of the 7 wraps. After listening to the voicemail from her boss - she didn't tell me about his response. But I could hear the following from her boss: “maybe mold,” because she was listening to the voice message a few meters away and wasn’t holding the phone to her ear. To shorten everything because there was no understanding or suggestion for a solution from her side - I said that alternatively she could simply give me a sub without toppings. The employee should be sensitized - also to the topic: joy in dealing with customers, because right from the start there was a lack of a friendly greeting - or a greeting at all.

The worst subway I've ever eaten at. The cashier did a lot of things wrong that we had to pay over €20 more and the sub was just dry and bad. The tables were dirty and chairs were just the worst sub I've ever seen

I can only rate the food as my husband got it for us. In short - the worst sub I've ever eaten. I would have overlooked the absolutely unappealing appearance if the taste was as usual. Unfortunately that wasn't the case! Carelessly slapped on, too much sauce, the tuna is probably more digestible straight from the can.. Very disappointing for the price. We are NEVER coming back!

Dear Managing Director, It's really unfortunate that we couldn't redeem our coupons at your branch in Herford, as it doesn't seem to be taking part in the campaign. We find this very disappointing and would like to tell you openly that you could lose more and more customers in the future. Furthermore, we were at your local branch on June 26th, 2024 at around 6 p.m. The employee who served us seemed overwhelmed and had to be told several times what we wanted on our bread. This left us with a less than professional impression. In addition, a vegetable leaf that was not desired was placed in a bread. When we consumed it, we also discovered that it contained a burnt onion, which completely spoiled our appetite. We hope that you will accept this criticism and take action to improve the situation and bring about positive changes in your branch. Otherwise we do not see a positive future for Subway Herford.

Submelts! An unappetizing bread porridge that is pressed into corrugated cardboard packaging to stick inside! Not edible without smearing or tearing everything! And not even particularly tasteful! At just under 8 euros for a really small sandwich, there wasn't even a napkin in it! It's even better with the "Golden M" and that's saying something! It's a shame, Subway is no longer an alternative!

Strange but true: In this Subway you cannot take part in any offers from the official Subway app (the new app too). You will only be told this at the checkout when you notice that the 50% coupon from the official Subway app has not been applied. There is no sign anywhere and the customer can then see how to pay if they don't have enough cash with them. Service in this regard was also more than bad, you could really tell that no one there wanted to show up and wasn't prepared to take up the problem in any way. Baguettes are torn open rather than cut open and are therefore "clean" to handle when eating. It's really one of the weakest subways in the area

I still don't have the right words 🤔.... Baguette looked crumpled... More sauce than other ingredients... Hygiene regulations are not really adhered to when employees with long hair down work without any head covering and even though there was nothing going on the tables were dirty ... Every star too many... Herford never again 🙋🏽♀️

The staff was overwhelmed even though I was the only one. I had to repeat myself 5 times and also mention at the end that some things were missing. How can you have no idea about the job even though there is NOTHING going on in the store? Not even a fly was present. Sorry, but I'd rather drive 25km to Lemgo and be satisfied.

Das Essen war kalt. Die Belegung des sub war bescheiden wenig. Der junge Mann nahm mein Geld mit dem Handschuh den er an hatte und ging anschließend mit dem gleichen Handschuhe in das essen um das Baguette zu belegen. Die Tische waren dreckig obwohl nichts los war. Dort gehen wir nie wieder essen.

This subway is really big and has a lot of seating. The service is amazing and the woman at the front was amazing and knows different languages! Its very similar to the subway in the United States, but the specialty subs are entirely different. They also advertise their b.l.t more than normal.

Für das Geld was ich da gelassen habe erwarte ich eine vernünftige Bedienung und vernünftiges Essen und nicht nur halb belegt wenn man ein ganzen bestellt! z.B der käse wurde nur zur Hälfte verteilt nach dem ich gefragt hab ob man es vernünftig machen kann weil man gerne überall käse haben möchte kam nur total eingebildet von zwei Mitarbeiterinnen "dann zahlen sie 70cent pro Scheibe mehr die dürften nur 4 scheiben nehmen" aber man hätte diese 4 Scheiben ja verteilen können und nicht auf einem "haufen" legen. Dann wurde unser Brot komplett zerrissen und am Ende nicht mal durchgescjnitten. Ich habe 6x Cookies bestellt zum mitnehmen, hatte am Ende ein großen weil alle zusammen geklebt waren und das auch schon beim Einpacken! Da hätte man als Verkäufer drauf achten können- ich wollte da schon nichts mehr sagen weil sowieso keine Änderung gemacht wurde nachdem ich Sachen "kritisiert" habe und man nur eingebildet angeguckt wurde. Also bitte stellt Mitarbeiter ein die sich um die Kunden kümmern und den Job gerne machen und nicht welche die gar kein Bock auf den Job haben! Schade um das Geld was man ausgegeben hat.

Oh Baby, wo soll ich anfangen.. Der Kunde ist König und das im wahrsten Sinne Wortes! Die beiden 17 jährigen Jungs und die 16 jährige Dame waren wie unbezahlte Comedy. Nach einer humorvollen Bedienung, welche äußerst asozial ausfiel (mein Humor) gab es am Ende noch ein Sub und ordentlich Cookies aufs Haus. Etwas dubios erschien mir die Drohung gegenüber eines Kunden: „lass mich deinen Roller fahren oder ich beschädige diesen“ (Am Ende wurde nur auf diesen gespuckt). Nachdem ich mir noch kurz das Geschehen hinter der Theke anschauen durfte ging ich mit einem großen grinsen. Alles in einem ein sehr empfehlenswerter Subway auch wenn das Niveau seines gleichen sucht.

Im Prinzip wie jeder andere Subway. Manchmal etwas voll und das Personal etwas überfordert, weil neue Mitarbeiter scheinbar mittels Learning by doing angelernt werden. Manchmal lag ein undefinierbarer, aber nicht unangenehmer Geruch im Bereich des Tresens in der Luft. Ist aber egal, wenn man das Essen mitnimmt. Qualität war in der Regel gut bis sehr gut.

Ich war bisher nicht der Typ, der gerne zu Subway gegangen ist. Aufgrund fehlender anderer Möglichkeiten sind wir dann eben hier eingekehrt. Ich habe wenig Erfahrung mit dieser Kette, war jedoch zum ersten Mal sehr positiv überrascht. Die angenehm nette Bedienung hat es tatsächlich geschafft, ein hervorragendes Sub hinzubekommen. Das Teil war wirklich lecker... Philly Steak and Cheese... 👍🏻 Das Ambiente war, naja, spartanisch könnte man sagen. Ein Subway eben. Trotzdem ist dieses Restaurant zu empfehlen.

Heute war beste besuch bei irgendeinem Ort denn ich je hatte da waren 2 Mitarbeiterinnen mit Brille (beide ) und die waren voller Energie mega nett super Hübsch alles 10/10 wurde immer wieder kommen egal wie viel die bezahlt werden sie sollten mehr verdienen

The food was particularly delicious again today: 4 vegetarian Indian dishes, always accompanied by a crisp salad with a dressing of your choice and naan bread. Everything was ready at the agreed time. Price, performance, service, quality and quantity are right every time - gladly again!

The atmosphere is very nice, the service is very friendly and quick. But unfortunately the food was very poor. A friend had to reorder the burger twice because the patty was too raw (not medium, but raw). Personally, I would have tagliatelle, unfortunately a little loosely seasoned and too creamy. It tasted OK enough, but it was better!

Never had such bad food!! There was hardly any sauce on the pizza and only half of it was cheese. Iskender kebab completely burnt, vegetables black, meat charred on top and even the bread at the bottom was burnt. The coleslaw on the lahmacun is really old. Lost appetite, entire order goes in the trash! It's a shame that I can't upload any photos here. Not recommended….
