Nice restaurant with good food and drinks.

Can't understand the good reviews: All food inedible. Meat tough as a shoe sole, burger patty raw, never had such bad bruschetta. Thyme potatoes totally oily and so much thyme that you couldn't eat them. Cola was also non-carbonated.

The food was generally good, but what I find unfortunate is that the price-performance ratio isn't quite right. The patty on the burger is relatively small, and the prices are relatively high. You have to pay extra for every side dish and sauce. Again, five euros for the side dish is too much for this portion. The quality of the food is definitely good, and the taste is great. The only thing that would be desirable is an adjustment to the mentioned price-performance ratio.

Top service, everyone was super friendly and accommodating. Beautiful location, delicious food. Despite the large group, everyone got their food warm at the same time.

Recommended restaurant in the heart of Herford. Many meat dishes such as steaks and burgers are offered here, but also pasta and salads. My positive rating comes from a juicy, perfectly medium-grilled rib-eye steak and an excellent homemade tiramisu for dessert. Nice staff!

Incredibly good food, nice service. While we were paying, we chatted with the nice waiter. With the exception of mayo and ketchup, everything is freshly prepared in-house or purchased fresh from outside.

A beautifully decorated place. But unfortunately the service was terrible. We were told that we would be guaranteed a table for 3 in 10-15 minutes. But unfortunately this was still happening after 60 minutes. After asking again we were told that the table would be ready in 1-2 minutes. And after another 20 minutes we finally got a table. Unfortunately, it was very uncomfortable and not really suitable for pleasant eating. Afterwards our order was not taken and we had to wait another 10 minutes until we were attended to. In addition, other guests who did not make a reservation were allowed to go ahead during the long waiting period and were served continuously. There were several groups of more than 5 people. We still had to pay for the drink we drank during that time. An absolute disgrace.

Anyone who claims to eat a good steak here has obviously never eaten a really well-prepared beef steak. From my personal point of view, it is a mediocre steak, where the cooking levels are not met and the meat quality is at best at supermarket level. Service is not rated well because nobody seemed to care that they were obviously not satisfied with the product. Burger or pasta fans may get their money's worth, but steak lovers should leave their money in other restaurants.

We were there last night and absolutely loved it! The food was excellent and impressed us across the board. The store has a cozy atmosphere and the staff were consistently friendly and accommodating. We would particularly like to highlight waiter Cem. He's a great waiter! Despite the full house, he remained calm, had everything under control and made sure that we felt in good hands. Hats off to you for this achievement! We'd love to come back.

The atmosphere is very nice, the service is very friendly and quick. But unfortunately the food was very poor. A friend had to reorder the burger twice because the patty was too raw (not medium, but raw). Personally, I would have tagliatelle, unfortunately a little loosely seasoned and too creamy. It tasted OK enough, but it was better!

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, prices are a little high which is probably due to the location. Service is very friendly, unfortunately there is far too much to do, so you have to plan for longer waiting times. Food is good, I didn't like the burger buns, but that's a matter of taste. Toilets urgently need cleaning. Unfortunately, I had to make an unpleasant discovery on the way to the toilet... the door to the kitchen was open and a corpulent man with black gloves put his finger in a bucket of sauce and then sucked it off his gloved finger, I hope it was the gloves were then changed... Interesting how negative comments are always dealt with... that's just how it happened...

We were there today with a large group (24 people). From planning to implementation, we were extremely satisfied. We had a great evening. I had a 240 gram rump steak, I couldn't eat a third of it because it was completely starved and had cartilage or fat. Food was not worth the money and at all

This was our last visit! After a long wait, the drink order went completely, as a visibly pregnant woman (7 months old) an alcoholic cocktail was brought to me despite asking, the staff didn't even apologize for it, they didn't even care that I burst into tears. The burgers took a long time to arrive, but unfortunately they were rather dry (not much sauce, maybe the intention was to drink more?) and prepared with very little salt and spices. Unfortunately, the dips we ordered were not brought to us to eat; when we asked, they were almost ready. Even with the second drink order, the drinks were not recognized by the staff and were accordingly distributed incorrectly. In the end, major calculation errors were made when paying, but you can miscalculate by 15 euros and try to account for it. Unfortunately, we didn't always notice this, so we now paid 4 euros too much. So everything turned out pretty stupidly. I'm sad and we probably won't come back.

I had dinner with my girlfriend yesterday. We received a very warm welcome. That was a great first impression. We also really liked the style of the furnishings. The service team was very friendly and accommodating. We didn't have to wait long for drinks or food. The food was very tasty and looked good too! Overall the evening was very nice. The food was very tasty but it was a shock when I saw the bill! The blonde waitress knocked over my Sprite and everything was on my motorcycle helmet. The upholstery and everything else is now glued! Instead of cleaning the helmet, she got a wet rag for the wooden table. I find that outrageous! I was then given half a sprite back as compensation, which they then added half to the dropped sprite. I find this a total impudence and totally disgraceful on the part of the employees. RIP-OFF!!!!!!!

I can fully recommend the copper heart! The rooms are very nice, the entire staff is extremely nice and the food (we had burgers) was really tasty!

Great food, burgers and fries were very tasty. The small chocolate cake freshly prepared with a liquid center and mango ice cream/sorbet was great. The tiramisu also tasted great, but for 10 euros we found it a bit small. The service was very attentive and on point. All in all SUPER, a clear recommendation.

We booked this location for our small wedding and what can I say...it was incredibly beautiful. The ambience of this location is unique and radiates a lot of cosiness. The food was delicious & the service was absolutely top! Everything that was agreed upon was implemented by the team exactly as we wanted. The staff/waitresses were very attentive and whatever food was left over was packaged very well to take away upon request. We can absolutely recommend the copper heart!

Meal break on a bike tour... We didn't choose a perfect antipasti plate for 2 people because it didn't fill us up. According to the menu, there are enough alternatives that we will try on our next visit.

We ate at Kupferherz for the first time and were really impressed. The restaurant has a very nice ambience both indoors and outdoors. We had two main courses (burger and steak) and dessert twice. All very tasty. The waitresses were also very friendly and quick. Despite it being quite full, the food and drinks came to our table very quickly. If we're in Herford again, we'd love to come back!

In summer, the Kupferherz offers a very beautiful and cozy outdoor area, where we like to take a spontaneous stop after strolling through the city. The interior is also very cozy, although the lighting is a bit dark in places - but it fits with the ambience. The food is very tasty and is attractively served. There is also a good range of dishes for those who are slightly hungry. The service is good and you receive friendly and quick service. If the dining room is full inside, the background noise can get quite loud, which can be unpleasant for those suffering from tinnitus. But that's not a point of criticism, it's a personal feeling and certainly depends on your form on the day. In any case, we would love to come back.

The service is not good at all. Requested a drink several times, drink was not delivered. Overall, it took a very long time until the empty tables were cleared away and no one even asked for new drinks. Email criticism was not responded to. It's a shame then you have to give a negative rating here. The positive first thing is that the rooms are beautifully furnished. Unfortunately it was a disappointment when it came to eating. The bacon burger was way too spicy. You didn't taste anything else. Here you should adjust the tomato pesto. A lukewarm potato dipper isn't that good either. My wife's chicken was drowned in the bbq sauce. The service was really bad. We were allowed to place our order and that was it. No asking whether the food tastes good, let alone whether you want to drink something else. After 40 minutes I was finally able to order a beer which came to the table after 30 minutes. I've never felt thirsty in a restaurant either. Thank you, we were here for the first and last time

Pasta was very high quality, burger was great, fries were great, it was simply delicious. Very friendly staff. No waiting time until served. Price a bit high but justified.

Unfortunately the food didn't taste good, it had a pasta that only tasted like oil and wasn't seasoned (salt was completely missing, it was only seasoned with chili). The service didn't take the drinks properly a few times (orders were constantly being lost), unfortunately that wasn't for me. In addition, you had to wait a very long time. The ambience is quite nice. The food is way too expensive for the small portions. Not again.

The ambience is nice. The food was okay, but too expensive. After the meal, the staff only took further drink orders at the table when we asked them to come back to us. And as a group, we were initially asked whether we would each like a small side salad with the meal. This was ultimately calculated at 6.10 euros each. For a pasta dish that costs 19 euros, that should be included in the price. After all, it was just a small dessert bowl and apart from lettuce, a quarter of a tomato and a slice of cucumber, nothing special. So I thought it was all overpriced and not particularly special.

The food itself is very tasty but the price/performance ratio is maximized. A big negative drawback... no small portions/half portions available and adults are not allowed to order children's portions. And the statement that you can have half a burger wrapped up doesn't make much sense if you're going out to party after dinner. I would like to emphasize that the quality of the food is good, but the customer friendliness is subpar. If only one person out of 13 wants a small dish, making everyone so angry shows a lack of empathy towards the guests. Answer: I didn't threaten to give a bad review. All I said when the request for the children's portion was rejected was that this would certainly be reflected in my restaurant review. And the fact that portions could be shared was not mentioned at all. It just meant that you could have leftovers packed up, which in this case wouldn't have made any sense for the rest of the evening. It's okay that the waitress didn't mention this, maybe she didn't know it herself. But the fact that a few minutes later someone came to the table and talked about the whole thing again (in an extremely unprofessional tone) without mentioning it clearly shows that better instruction was needed. Communication is the most important thing.

Once and never again!!! Normally I don't give negative reviews, but in this case I did... An extremely unfriendly "boss". Outrageously high prices. No children's portion for adults. (Taking it with me to the disco or on the train on the way home was not an option!) So I only ordered a side dish, and the leftovers (garbage) from the deep fryer were served with it (which numerous people at the table can attest to!) . The lemonade was delicious in itself, but mostly consisted of just ice and syrup. Nothing for diabetics. (There are definitely homemade lemonades with juice instead of syrup!) Not recommended!!!

The salad was an imposition! For the price over 15 euros without any extra, which would have been some chicken meat. The Cesars salad only had lettuce hearts, a few croutons and even fewer cherry tomatoes. Plus dressing and grated Parmesan, not grated! That's it, and a plate full of it. Who would eat something like that? A goat perhaps? Overall, a disgrace. Really not recommended!

Nice restaurant on the edge of Herford city center. Easily accessible on foot from the educational campus. Most of the colleagues enjoyed the food. As the evening progressed, the service became somewhat less attentive and the Rhinelanders at the table in particular were surprised at the glasses that were increasingly empty after the meal. For OWL I would call it normal average. On the whole, the Kupferherz is a nice place to stay, especially if you want to spontaneously stop by with a larger group after a day of training. Gladly again.

Wonderful food and outstanding service! We had a very nice evening here yesterday. The service was very attentive. The drinks came very quickly and the food didn't take long to arrive either. The food impressed us. The cooking point of my fillet was perfect and both me and my partner were absolutely happy with our plates. In addition, the owner came to us at the end to make sure we were really satisfied. This is a host like I want. In summary, great service, high quality food, a beautiful location and a hearty host. Last night I was there for the second time and it definitely won't be the last time. If you want to enjoy a delicious piece of meat with good quality and no frills, this is the place for you. The boys and girls definitely have it! But my chicken burger called Soprano was also a taste experience. The prices are more than justified when you take into account the quality of the food and the craftsmanship. I've eaten much worse elsewhere for the same money and wasn't nearly as satisfied. I would happily leave my money here again at any time.
