We ate at Kupferherz for the first time and were really impressed. The restaurant has a very nice ambience both indoors and outdoors. We had two main courses (burger and steak) and dessert twice. All very tasty. The waitresses were also very friendly and quick. Despite it being quite full, the food and drinks came to our table very quickly. If we're in Herford again, we'd love to come back!

In summer, the Kupferherz offers a very beautiful and cozy outdoor area, where we like to take a spontaneous stop after strolling through the city. The interior is also very cozy, although the lighting is a bit dark in places - but it fits with the ambience. The food is very tasty and is attractively served. There is also a good range of dishes for those who are slightly hungry. The service is good and you receive friendly and quick service. If the dining room is full inside, the background noise can get quite loud, which can be unpleasant for those suffering from tinnitus. But that's not a point of criticism, it's a personal feeling and certainly depends on your form on the day. In any case, we would love to come back.

Email criticism was not responded to. It's a shame then you have to give a negative rating here. The positive first thing is that the rooms are beautifully furnished. Unfortunately it was a disappointment when it came to eating. The bacon burger was way too spicy. You didn't taste anything else. Here you should adjust the tomato pesto. A lukewarm potato dipper isn't that good either. My wife's chicken was drowned in the bbq sauce. The service was really bad. We were allowed to place our order and that was it. No asking whether the food tastes good, let alone whether you want to drink something else. After 40 minutes I was finally able to order a beer which came to the table after 30 minutes. I've never felt thirsty in a restaurant either. Thank you, we were here for the first and last time

Unfortunately the food didn't taste good, it had a pasta that only tasted like oil and wasn't seasoned (salt was completely missing, it was only seasoned with chili). The service didn't take the drinks properly a few times (orders were constantly being lost), unfortunately that wasn't for me. In addition, you had to wait a very long time. The ambience is quite nice. The food is way too expensive for the small portions. Not again.

The ambience is nice. The food was okay, but too expensive. After the meal, the staff only took further drink orders at the table when we asked them to come back to us. And as a group, we were initially asked whether we would each like a small side salad with the meal. This was ultimately calculated at 6.10 euros each. For a pasta dish that costs 19 euros, that should be included in the price. After all, it was just a small dessert bowl and apart from lettuce, a quarter of a tomato and a slice of cucumber, nothing special. So I thought it was all overpriced and not particularly special.

The food itself is very tasty but the price/performance ratio is maximized. A big negative drawback... no small portions/half portions available and adults are not allowed to order children's portions. And the statement that you can have half a burger wrapped up doesn't make much sense if you're going out to party after dinner. I would like to emphasize that the quality of the food is good, but the customer friendliness is subpar. If only one person out of 13 wants a small dish, making everyone so angry shows a lack of empathy towards the guests. Answer: I didn't threaten to give a bad review. All I said when the request for the children's portion was rejected was that this would certainly be reflected in my restaurant review. And the fact that portions could be shared was not mentioned at all. It just meant that you could have leftovers packed up, which in this case wouldn't have made any sense for the rest of the evening. It's okay that the waitress didn't mention this, maybe she didn't know it herself. But the fact that a few minutes later someone came to the table and talked about the whole thing again (in an extremely unprofessional tone) without mentioning it clearly shows that better instruction was needed. Communication is the most important thing.

Once and never again!!! Normally I don't give negative reviews, but in this case I did... An extremely unfriendly "boss". Outrageously high prices. No children's portion for adults. (Taking it with me to the disco or on the train on the way home was not an option!) So I only ordered a side dish, and the leftovers (garbage) from the deep fryer were served with it (which numerous people at the table can attest to!) . The lemonade was delicious in itself, but mostly consisted of just ice and syrup. Nothing for diabetics. (There are definitely homemade lemonades with juice instead of syrup!) Not recommended!!!

The salad was an imposition! For the price over 15 euros without any extra, which would have been some chicken meat. The Cesars salad only had lettuce hearts, a few croutons and even fewer cherry tomatoes. Plus dressing and grated Parmesan, not grated! That's it, and a plate full of it. Who would eat something like that? A goat perhaps? Overall, a disgrace. Really not recommended!

Nice restaurant on the edge of Herford city center. Easily accessible on foot from the educational campus. Most of the colleagues enjoyed the food. As the evening progressed, the service became somewhat less attentive and the Rhinelanders at the table in particular were surprised at the glasses that were increasingly empty after the meal. For OWL I would call it normal average. On the whole, the Kupferherz is a nice place to stay, especially if you want to spontaneously stop by with a larger group after a day of training. Gladly again.

Wonderful food and outstanding service! We had a very nice evening here yesterday. The service was very attentive. The drinks came very quickly and the food didn't take long to arrive either. The food impressed us. The cooking point of my fillet was perfect and both me and my partner were absolutely happy with our plates. In addition, the owner came to us at the end to make sure we were really satisfied. This is a host like I want. In summary, great service, high quality food, a beautiful location and a hearty host. Last night I was there for the second time and it definitely won't be the last time. If you want to enjoy a delicious piece of meat with good quality and no frills, this is the place for you. The boys and girls definitely have it! But my chicken burger called Soprano was also a taste experience. The prices are more than justified when you take into account the quality of the food and the craftsmanship. I've eaten much worse elsewhere for the same money and wasn't nearly as satisfied. I would happily leave my money here again at any time.

What can you say? Service underground. You had to point out to service several times that the orders were correct. Empty plates were left on the table for 15-20 minutes, no reaction and no sign of the ladies. The taste of the food was ok but unfortunately the food was cold and the price/performance ratio wasn't good either. Nice shop without a soul. Little tip you can eat better somewhere else.

A friend of ours celebrated his 60th birthday there and invited us to dinner. We had a cake made for him and delivered it to Kupferherz beforehand so that we could surprise him. At the end the cake came and they charged him 20 euros for it 😂the man is a regular customer there and left a lot of money there that day... I've never had to pay money for something like that anywhere else. Why don't you tell us and then collect 20 euros from the (birthday child)? I would really understand if 6 people just had a drink and left, but there was a starter and main course and a lot of drinking. Showing a little kindness wouldn't hurt.

Wir waren zu 6 Personen im Kupferherz. Die Bedienung war freundlich und das Essen kam auch ziemlich zügig. Angefangen von der Vorspeisenplatte, Pasta und den Hamburgern war alles sehr lecker. Die Portionen waren auch sehr gut. Vor allem bin ich schwer begeistert, dass die Teller vorgewärmt waren und mein Essen bis zum letzten Bissen warm war. Meine Freundin und ich hatten was zu feiern. Unsere Liebessprache ist essen also dachten wir gehen wir mal etwas besonderes essen. Wir entschieden uns für das berüchtigte Kupferherz in Herford, da die einen sehr guten Status hatten. Als wir ankamen wurden wir höflich vom Kellner begrüßt und zu unserem Tisch geführt, was uns ein wenig verwundert hat ist das der Kellner uns durchs Restaurant geführt hat bis wir an einer unscheinlichen Treppe ins erste Stock standen. Wir fühlten uns ein wenig vom Restaurant abgekoppelt. Die Karten bestehen aus massiven Kupfer was definitiv für einen „wow“ Effekt sorgte. Ich probiere meistens immer das gleiche, einen guten Burger kann ja wohl keiner falsch machen. Naja die Auswahl der Burger sowie die anderen Speisen sind sehr exotisch und extravagant. Einen normalen Cheeseburger kann man hier vergessen. Die Service Kräfte haben auch lange auf sich warten lassen da wir ja einen Sitz bekommen haben der mehr oder weniger abseits vom Restaurant war. Als das Essen nun kam waren wir positiv von der Präsentation überrascht. Jedoch ehr weniger vom Geschmack. Meine Freundin hatte Nudeln mit Pilzen, das genaue Gericht weiß ich leider auch nicht mehr und ich hatte einen Burger der am nähsten vom Standart war. Das Fleisch war okay jedoch fehlte mir jegliche Würzung sowie Sauce . Das Brot sieht zwar lecker aus aber ist relativ kross gewesen. Die wedges waren jedoch Einwand frei. Ich persönlich würde hier nicht nochmal hinkommen, aber über eine Einladung einer Person macht das Ambiente schon was her. Man muss natürlich auch sagen das jeder Geschmack anders ist. Probiert es aus und entscheidet für euch selber.

Ich mag gute Burger aber irgendwie geht es dort qualitätsmäßig nur bergab und die Preise bergauf. Ich war dort sicherlich schon 7 oder 8 mal und immer war mein Burgerpatty bei gutem Lichteinfall höchstens "rare". Wenn ich 16Euro für einen Burger ohne nichts - ohne Pommes, ohne Mayo, ohne Beilagensalat, ohne Getränk - bezahle sollte schon alles stimmen. Die Burgerbrötchen haben mit den Jahren an Qualität verloren und heute gibt's nur noch langweilige Brötchen. Obwohl wir die gleiche Limo bestellt haben, haben wir nicht das gleiche bekommen. Der eine hatte extrem viel Sirup im Glas, der andere fast gar nichts. Am Ende waren wir uns nicht einmal sicher, ob wir auch alle das richtige Getränk bekommen haben. Bedienung ist unaufmerksam und langsam. Obwohl ich nie zu Stoßzeiten da war hat es unendlich lange gedauert bis das Essen da war. Ich kann das Lokal heute nicht mehr empfehlen.

Das Essen hat uns super geschmeckt. Die Burger & Süsskartoffelpommes waren wirklich top. Die Größe des Burger war mehr als ausreichend. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön und ansprechend. Sehr kinderfreundlich noch dazu. Auch der Nachbartisch war von Salat und Nudeln begeistert. Wir kommen wieder!
