Subway in Karlsruhe

They have their own stupid policy that only 2 sauces are allowed with a footlong, and i have to pay more for the 3rd sauce. However all other subways give 3. When I asked why is it so, the man replied rudely that its his Subway. No respect for customers. Thanks anyways.

How unfriendly do you want to be? I was there with crutches and wanted to sit down for a moment (without ordering anything). There were 5 of 7 tables free. Was then asked to leave. The headquarters would monitor it with video and you either have to buy something or leave. I then said that I could also stand up if customers came and wanted to sit down (I mean there were 5 tables free)…no, I wasn't allowed to, I should leave. Thanks for nothing!

AUDIOUS! Sunday October 27th, 2024. I just wanted to get myself a delicious Subway but unfortunately I was massively disappointed. The gentleman at the checkout serves the sub very listlessly, not enough chicken and it looks like shit on a baguette. The fishnet fries are soggy and lukewarm in the to-go box. In response to well-intentioned feedback, he becomes rude and insults me. It's okay if someone doesn't like their job, but you should always do it properly. I don't expect the world for 10€ but it should still taste and look good. I wish the gentleman more fun and motivation in his job in the future. Best regards PS: that was my first and last sub in this branch.

Despite participating in the voucher system, these are simply ignored. Order via app was confirmed but simply not executed. So the journey was completely free. Never see us as a customer again.

He kicked me out when I showed the coupons and called Subway to complain!

I am very disappointed with my visit to Subway. The ingredients weren't fresh and looked rather unappetizing. The employees are very unfriendly and seem to have no interest in the customers. My sandwich was poorly prepared and just didn't taste good. This is the fourth order that was absolutely wrong. The sub never arrives as ordered... I definitely will not be returning and cannot recommend this location.-

Unfriendly to the point of not being possible anymore. I wanted to redeem a voucher for Footlong + 15cm for free. The app listed the participating restaurant. The owner threw out the voucher and said he wouldn't accept it, he could decide for himself, after all it would be his wallet where it was missing. Of course I only paid for the 30cm and took it with me. The food wasn't that rich and the treatment was rather unfriendly. Will avoid the subway

No acceptance of coupons from the app which are still advertised in the restaurant. Redeeming points is also not possible here.

Pure disappointment... The moment you walk in you notice a bad smell, probably due to bad food. Tables are dirty and employees are extremely unfriendly. Coupons are refused even though they are advertised at the counter. If you ask, you will be insulted. No recommendation.

The worst Subway restaurant I've ever visited. Food is a joke, sub is filled with almost nothing, but lots of sauce. No thanks.

No vouchers accepted and no card payments

I've never encountered anything like this before. I ordered via Lieferando. Philly Boss Sub with extra toasted bread option. A bland piece of bread arrived with almost no ingredients on it and everything was drowned in sauce. That for 15€!! I immediately drove to the store to ask for an opinion. Was shamelessly fobbed off. I asked for a new sub because I was obviously hungry, but I got the same sub back, only re-toasted and with extra sauce on it, which actually just made things worse. At Lieferando's request, there was no refund of the costs. Unbelievable impudence. This has nothing to do with service. Never again

The service was absolutely unacceptable. The food was barely edible. When I asked about vegetarian alternatives, the employee pointed to two dishes. I assumed both were vegetarian and chose one of them. Unfortunately it turned out to contain meat and the employee hadn't pointed this out to me. Additionally, the employee was extremely unfriendly and seemed to have no interest in helping the guests. Such behavior is simply unacceptable.

Nice staff, but the gun chips on the menu were simply warmed up in the microwave... very little, limp, unseasoned and without a dip. Sandwich ok. But not recommended for the price.

It is indicated on the Internet that vouchers are accepted, but this does not correspond to reality. The toppings on the sandwich are also very minimal

I had pre-ordered via the app and already paid. But I didn't receive any food from the owner because he said he wouldn't allow discount coupons, even though it would technically be possible via the app. We went there completely for free and were brushed off in an unfriendly manner.

Branch right in the train station, few seats. The sub itself was OK but I was very disappointed when they said at the checkout that no promotional vouchers would be accepted. The new app advertises an extra 50% off a Footlong: this branch is taking part! So the information in the app was wrong and there was no response from the seller. Next time I'd rather go to another sub or the kebab man.

It's just a train station snack bar so you can't expect much there. But the food was still really bad. Staff but friendly.

Ordered in the app with a discount coupon for a footlong at half price because the restaurant is listed as participating in the app, the order was marked as ready and when it was picked up it said: “We are not taking part in the campaign, I haven't finished anything either and there’s nothing too.” It's a shame that you have to give 1 star, the shop definitely doesn't deserve it, the only consolation: at least you got the money back...

One star is still too many, I tried Subway twice, once with the new app, with the coupons, which the restaurant actively advertises in front of and in the store, and once by ordering via the app and both times the "manager "Refused to give me my subs at the stated price and then paid me the money in cash afterwards. Absolutely unfriendly, bad excuses that he supposedly hadn't received an order and when you showed it, the statement was that you wouldn't participate in the app and wouldn't accept the promotions. An absolute disgrace, someone like that shouldn't be running a business. 0% customer focused. Just go to another subway

INCOMPREHENSIBLE! Pre-ordered and paid for via the app, had to travel several kilometers, paid for the parking space and then found out from the employee that the voucher from the app was not applicable. This is despite the fact that the branch is marked as participating in the app and the electronic order has already gone through! The branch should urgently rethink its business practices! The franchisor should take a closer look here.

Unfortunately, one star is still too many. I pre-ordered via the app and the owner didn't want to give me my food even though it had already been paid for. He said I should pay again and that he apparently hadn't received my order. He was also very unfriendly. Do yourself a favor and avoid this branch!

The staff is a disaster, but the funny thing is that the problem comes from ABOVE. The employees are not trained, they are not shown how to make a real sandwich. Unfortunately this is also the case in other branches but also in other fast food chains. This only happens with bad managers

!!DON'T GO HERE IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BE AFRAID FOR YOUR PHYSICAL WELL-BEING!! I wanted to eat here and saw how the owner AND the owner verbally insulted a customer who was there alone and also got physically closer and closer to her. I thought it would escalate completely and the owners would get violent. The customer was calm and polite the entire time and was harassed and followed by the 2 very aggressive owners even OUTSIDE the subway building. Such antisocial and aggressive behavior should be reported to the police. It's clear to me that it's only a matter of time before the two of them attack someone. I can never go here again in good conscience. You can't support people like that. 1 star is already too much.

Filling can hardly be seen, almost only bread with salad and sauce, staff isn't the friendliest in the world either... First and last time at this branch! They also don't provide any proof.

Very clean and great service. Quality and prices like in other branches. Downgrade from 5 to 2 stars The app is widely advertised with posters in the branch, but no vouchers are accepted. When I asked what the app was being advertised for, it said "to collect points" - but I collect the points for the vouchers... Without vouchers, Subway (in general, not just this branch) is no longer profitable because the prices have been marked up so that you can eat out at a cheap restaurant for the money.

Such bad service, the manager is so unfriendly, he should be fired, it's best to close the shop 🤮🤮🤮

When he wanted toasti he just said "We didn't" and then he said "TSCHUSSSSSS" despite the advertising poster!!!! (Bad German and aggressive) Seriously the best thing is the shop is doing better again, rather a good bakery shop

Worst subway ever the guy kicked me out just as I finished eating and said that I was not allowed to charge my phone and he did the same to other customers. He also only accepted cash and didn't give me a receipt.

Direkt im Bahnhof Durlach, leckere Sandwichs, direkt zubereitet, hat auch noch Abends offen. Perfekt um die Wartezeit im Bahnhof zu überbrücken

The service is very bad! When I found that the sandwiches I ordered were not what I bought in other Subways, then I did not want to buy them although they had been done. I know I should pay their service, but the boss threatened me to buy them. He said that he would call the police if I didn’t pay it. But I had to catch up with the next train and did not want to argue with him, so I finally paid. I never had this experience, which was really terrible!

Mega unfreundlich Wir wollten dort kurz nach 21h nur kurz den kleinen wickeln,und wurden tatsächlich in einem leeren Lokal auf die öffentliche Toilette auf der Straße verwiesen! Anstelle uns im hinteren Bereich des Raumes schnell eine Windel wechseln zu lassen!!! Uns hat es gereicht! Subway=unterirdisch Würde es minus Sterne geben, hierfür würde ich sie alle einsetzen!!

Wollte mein Menü wie gewohnt zusammen stellen, doch in Durlach ist es scheinbar anders. Verkäuferin wollte ihre Meinung durchsetzen, ich wollte jedoch ein andres Brot dies wurde nicht akzeptiert, zudem wollte ich andern Käse auch dies wurde nicht akzeptieren. Meine Wünsche wurden maßlos ignoriert um die eigene Meinung durch zusetzen. Ein no Go in meinen Augen. Ich bekam eine sehr grobe und starke Antwort im Negativen. Sehr unfreundliches und inkompetentes Personal. Esstische werden nach Gebrauch nicht abgewaschen, die Krümel werden für die nächsten Kunden auf gehoben. Will man an einem sauberen Tisch essen so muss man es mit der Hand unter den Tisch schieben. Die deutsche Sprache findet man eventuell auch unterm Tisch aber nicht am Personal. Restaurant Nicht empfehlenswert.

Kartoffeln schmecken wie vor 3 Tagen fritiert und wieder aufgewärmt, sehr fad. Sandwich hatte einen ekligen Nachgeschmack. Preis-Leistung stimmt nicht. Mitarbeiter unfreundlich und patzig. Hat sich aufgeregt, weil ich vorort eine Bewertung schreiben wollte und diskutiert mit mir sinnlos und genervt. Wir kommen nie wieder.

Sowohl die Bedienung als auch der Kassierer sind total unfreundlich und können außerdem kein deutsch. Das Essen wurde total schlecht zubereitet und nicht richtig erwärmt. Zudem wurde kein Kassenbon ausgegeben, ich musste nachfragen.

Nur ab 5€ Kartenzahlung möglich?😂 wo sind wir in der Steinzeit?? dann hole ich mir lieber was beim Bäcker daneben. Die Pommes waren auch ganz komisch

4 Sterne weil ich das Personal mega nett finde das Ambiente ist jetzt nicht mega , doof ist es auch das keine Toilette gibt. Das Essen ist Super

Neue Chance nach Neueröffnung wurde bei mir leider nicht genutzt! Sub des Tages wurde sehr sparsam belegt aber negativ war vor allem, dass das Brot inklusive Belag nicht wie üblich getoastet sonder in der MIKROWELLE ERWÄRMT wurde. Schmeckte dadurch leider recht labrig - mach ich nicht nochmal. Lieber nicht erwärmen lassen, wurde aber auch nicht gefragt. Im Anschluss gab's noch ne Diskussion weil unter 5€ keine Karte (auch nicht Giro/EC) akzeptiert werden wollte, angeblich kostet das 70ct für ihn. Ich wollte mir aber auch kein Menü etc andrehen lassen - der Verkäufer warr schon recht aufdringlich. Ging dann aber doch...

Der Mitarbeiter der mich bedient hat, war sehr Freundlich! Einer der freundlichsten Subway-Mitarbeiter der mich bisher bedient hat! Auf Nachfrage hat auch der Gutschein gegolten den ich im Internet gefunden habe. Sub hat auch gut geschmeckt. 1 Stern Abzug da eine Zahlung mit Karte nicht möglich ist. Edit: Kartenzahlung nun möglich --> 5 Sterne

Super nette und freundliche Mitarbeiterin! Sandwich waren richtig ordentlich angelegt! Richtig satt gemacht! Leider war heute nicht möglich mit Karte bezahlen, aber bin trotzdem super zufrieden! Weiter so!

Zum Teil sehr freundlich und kompetent, ausreichend Belag Vor 2 Jahren: Unfreundliches Personal, geiziger Belag, Rabattaktionen gibt es nur nach Aufforderung und nach mehrmaligen Nachfragen. Eingeschränktes Angebot Chips/Saucen/Cookies. Es gibt echt gute Subwayrestaurants, das hier gehört nicht dazu.

Besonders für Veganer absolut zu empfehlen :-) Haben die verschiedenen Veganen Varianten da, auch die neuen veganen Cookies. Und es wurde sogar extra gefragt, ob die Handschuhe gewechselt werden sollen und ob mein Sub extra getoastet (und nicht zusammen mit einem Fleischsub) werden soll. Auch bei der Auswahl der Saucen zeigte das Personal gute Kompetenz im Bereich Vegan. Und geschmeckt hat es auch noch super ;-) Absolut zu empfehlen diese Subway Filiale

vor ner woche , sooziemlich Beste Subway bis jetzt, freundliches und geduldiges Perssomal , sprechen perfekt deutsch, Essen /Sauberkeit : Alles gut, Beste SWay-Filiale bisher i.d. Hinsicht, kenn sonst auch keine besseren Sandwich-Läden in Karlsruhe > wenn man nicht so oft ins subway geht, helfen oder empfehlen dir auch einfach mal was das gut passt , top, > Atmosphäre war locker und man kommt auch klar wenn man sich etwas schwer tut bei viel Auswahl, schnell zu entscheiden ^^ Kann nix negatives sagen , mach weiter so ;)
