Unfortunately, this was a complete disappointment. While the employee was complaining about another customer, she accidentally put the wrong sauce on my sandwich. I saw it (and heard her realize her mistake) but didn't say anything because it wasn't my responsibility at that moment, and I wanted to wait and see what would happen. Well, ten seconds later, my "finished" sandwich was handed to me. When I spoke to her, she assured me twice that it had yogurt sauce on it. Only when I unwrapped the sandwich and pointed out the orange sauce did they both remember that there was a second sauce on it, and asked if I hadn't wanted that one. They claimed it was a mistake and they hadn't noticed. I took the sandwich because I don't want to waste food, but I find it incredibly rude to lie to a customer instead of simply admitting that a mistake had been made. It's okay, nobody's perfect, but guys... people can watch your work, so you really shouldn't lie 😂

It's truly appalling how incompetent the staff are. They're completely inept at their own ordering system, which only works via automated machines. If you're not careful, you might not get the items you paid extra for on your sub/wrap. On top of that, the staff puts the least amount of vegetables on the subs/wraps I've ever seen at a Subway. Clear recommendation: Avoid this store at all costs! Absolutely terrible!

What can I say? You have to choose which roll, which cheese, which topping, which sauce, but then half the rolls are sold out. Ideally, you'd also be able to choose the shape of the cheese and how many grains on the roll; then the concept would make sense. Not recommended. It didn't taste good, very limp, the chicken was a bit old, and the lattice potatoes looked like they'd been run over. Not recommended. Long wait. Overpriced. You're better off going to Backwerk and getting significantly more for your money, in terms of taste too.

One of the worst subs of my life. I arrived on time at 18:10 on Sunday, 07/09/2025. I ordered two small subs and asked for cheese with a vegan patty. The cheese was completely covered with beef, and the girl used that cheese mixed with beef. After that, in the salad section, I met another girl who made it even worse. When I told her everything I wanted on my sub, she added it like salt—just a tiny amount. Even the sauce was applied so lightly you could hardly see it on the sub. I will complain about this to the Subway owner as well. To be honest, even if you gave me a free sub, I would not want it prepared like this. Shame on you, Subway. Is this really your quality?

The store looks extremely messy on a Sunday evening at 8:30 p.m., with trash everywhere on the tables. Ordering at the self-service kiosks works well, but payment is only possible by card. Unfortunately, the bread I wanted wasn't available, and I had to swap my desired macadamia cookie for a chocolate cookie at the counter, as that was also out of stock. Why can't they adjust the kiosks to indicate that certain items are out of stock? This way, customer frustration is reduced to zero right from the start. The staff seemed unmotivated, but they were very friendly. The biggest downside is that the self-service kiosk doesn't print a VAT receipt. I had to ask for one separately at the counter, which caused some frustration with the young employee, as he didn't want or couldn't understand the difference between the order receipt from the kiosk and an invoice... At least the sub was filled as requested and quite tasty. Unfortunately, the price also got quite expensive.

Subway has become really bad. Not only have the prices skyrocketed, but the worst thing is the non-functional new self-checkouts, which cause more frustration than usefulness. Did they also cut back on the gram quantities of ingredients (smaller bread, less vegetables)? I get the feeling the poor staff has to put up with the customers' bad moods. I'd rather not go to Subway again—my last two experiences were so negative that after 10 years, I won't eat there again.

The switch to terminals has significantly reduced service. The bills are being incorrectly entered, and the codes from the app are only read after the third attempt or aren't accepted at all. Leipzig Central Station is a stressful area. People rush around and get canceled due to canceled trains, toilets cost one euro and the food is poor (most of the time anyway). In this sad place, the only bright spot is getting a 1 meter churro (if it's available :( ) or a tasty sub prepared by the lovely staff Roman and Carla. Every time I feel like picking flowers again, entering the small shop empty-handed and leaving with a happier feeling and a 30cm sandwich.

Ordering system at the machine doesn't work at all. The machines sometimes need 10 seconds to process a simple input. At the same time, the staff is FORBIDDEN to take the order verbally. Which quixotic armchair fart in management came up with this rubbish. It took almost 10 minutes to order for 2 people because the system hung up several times. Then why can't the staff just take the order? Let people talk to each other and take orders. And throw these PCs in the trash if they don't have more CPU than a Tamagotchi has.

IT USED TO BE GREAT, BEFORE THE TERMINALS! The sandwich is thinner than ever, wrong sauce on it and instead of double cheese and double salami, everything individually and that for 12 euros (with Pepsi for 3€). Of course, I only noticed this on the train at takeaway... On top of that, the terminal is incredibly slow and you almost have to beat the thing up to get it to react... Plus, you can't make any changes in a timely manner because even the slice is gone... I'll only go there again when it's back to the way it was before, that's purer crappy!

New ordering system - try it out now! The boom in self-service checkouts isn't going unnoticed by Subway, so let's give it a try. An intuitive menu has been added, the ordering order remains the same, everything is very uncomplicated! There's no fruit in the house!!!1!1!!! When I asked if they had any bananas, the friendly sandwich artist behind the counter grinned briefly and whispered, "Tee-hee-hee, that's..." After exchanging several meme quotes, I received excellent advice. She kept trying to sell me bacon, because she apparently loves it – I, as a vegan, am less so. 🙈 All in all, I can only say: 10 POINTS FOR GRYFFONDOR and 5 stars for the little shop. 🙌🏻

Underground, just arrived back home. Service was a complete disaster, we weren't even noticed for a few minutes because the sellers were engrossed in private conversations. The preparation was listless, unfriendly, pissy and actually worth zero stars. Sub's weren't even cut and packaged poorly. Never again .
