Subway in Leipzig

Subway has become really bad. Not only have the prices skyrocketed, but the worst thing is the non-functional new self-checkouts, which cause more frustration than usefulness. Did they also cut back on the gram quantities of ingredients (smaller bread, less vegetables)? I get the feeling the poor staff has to put up with the customers' bad moods. I'd rather not go to Subway again—my last two experiences were so negative that after 10 years, I won't eat there again.

I'd say the Wallah sandwich tasted good. I give it 5 stars 👍🏻 The staff are all very friendly, and the atmosphere is very nice.

After the voucher didn't work, I was told to just ask if I couldn't do it. Maybe it would work next time. Rude and condescending. And the store was dirty, too. Disgusting.

The switch to terminals has significantly reduced service. The bills are being incorrectly entered, and the codes from the app are only read after the third attempt or aren't accepted at all. Furthermore, the waiting times for five open orders are truly outrageous (about 25 minutes). Unfortunately, my good opinion has been ruined.

only buggy dysfunctional terminals, no customization. heavily annoying, bad interface, doesnt work 2/4 times. the place i went to because of customization turned bad. was a loyal customer but this takes the cake. subway killed itsself with service terminals

Only four open orders, 20 minutes until the train leaves... but the three guys behind the counter prefer to fool around and never finish. In the end, I paid €11.19 for a sub I didn't get, and was yelled at for not being so impatient. A customer in front of me also had things placed on her sub she hadn't ordered and is allergic to...

I quickly went to Subway while changing trains! Very friendly and efficient employees, and they didn't skimp on the vegan chicken teriyaki like many others do! Awesome sandwich experience 😃

I'm also beyond disappointed. When they still had personal service, ordering went better. It's happened to me twice now that I didn't get what I ordered at the terminal. The young woman at the counter was more concerned that the customer in front of me hadn't ordered any sauce on his sub than with properly processing my order. The wrong vegetables, the wrong sauce. It's a miracle I didn't get tuna instead of chicken. Not recommended!

Apparently, salad is now worth every gram like pure gold? Otherwise, I can't explain why the lady with the tattoos and the Berlin accent has to be so stingy with it. Originally 7-8 small snippets for a footlong? And the rest is basically the same. Sorry, I have zero understanding for that, and that was the last time for me.

Since switching to terminals, I can't recommend it anymore... Card payments aren't available, and if you speak to the staff, they simply disappear into the kitchen without responding.

Good afternoon. I'm appalled and won't be coming back. Who, pray tell, came up with the idea of ​​setting up terminals? That's unsympathetic and puts me off a lot.

We were always enthusiastic. But with the new system, everything is very impersonal. The sauces were way too much. You can't specify anywhere that you want your onions toasted. It's all just complicated and annoying. We won't be coming back again.

The switch to terminals is a terrible move. Mistakes are made when making receipts that you only notice at home, and you can't watch the receipts being made. A lot of the atmosphere is lost. I won't be coming back as long as there are terminals.

Super unfriendly staff, incorrect order information, and then not even the right order! My sandwich had extra tomatoes, corn, and an unknown sauce, all things I didn't order. Plus, the guy at the cashier didn't even give me a bag and yelled at me because I almost got the wrong bag... because my order was the ONLY one that showed as "ready for pickup." Cool.

Leipzig Central Station is a stressful area. People rush around and get canceled due to canceled trains, toilets cost one euro and the food is poor (most of the time anyway). In this sad place, the only bright spot is getting a 1 meter churro (if it's available :( ) or a tasty sub prepared by the lovely staff Roman and Carla. Every time I feel like picking flowers again, entering the small shop empty-handed and leaving with a happier feeling and a 30cm sandwich.

New order terminals have a touchscreen that only recognizes something after 30 taps. When asked whether payment via normal cash register was also possible, this was answered in the negative.

Ordering system at the machine doesn't work at all. The machines sometimes need 10 seconds to process a simple input. At the same time, the staff is FORBIDDEN to take the order verbally. Which quixotic armchair fart in management came up with this rubbish. It took almost 10 minutes to order for 2 people because the system hung up several times. Then why can't the staff just take the order? Let people talk to each other and take orders. And throw these PCs in the trash if they don't have more CPU than a Tamagotchi has.

We ordered food through Lieferando. The order was accepted and canceled 20 minutes later. I won't order from there again.

IT USED TO BE GREAT, BEFORE THE TERMINALS! The sandwich is thinner than ever, wrong sauce on it and instead of double cheese and double salami, everything individually and that for 12 euros (with Pepsi for 3€). Of course, I only noticed this on the train at takeaway... On top of that, the terminal is incredibly slow and you almost have to beat the thing up to get it to react... Plus, you can't make any changes in a timely manner because even the slice is gone... I'll only go there again when it's back to the way it was before, that's purer crappy!

Extremely pathetic service the lady who was preparing the stuff knows how to speak English but still did not even though I was trying to speak Deutsch she was very rude while talking, which made me feel very unwelcomed and uncomfortable for the first time in Deutschland I felt discriminated. I would never go back here again. Also I would like to ask the lady to get a life and stop bullying others due to her internal insecurities.

A friend and I ordered subs and neither of them were properly topped as we ordered them. I even had to throw mine away because it had a very strange tasting mixture of ingredients on it.

However, since the introduction of self-service machines, I have found the ordering process to be stressful as it now takes longer. I only wanted my food to be slightly spicy and it was made really spicy. Unfortunately, the machines do not offer the option to enter such individual requests, which means that my food is often too spicy for my taste. Thank you for your understanding.

New ordering system - try it out now! The boom in self-service checkouts isn't going unnoticed by Subway, so let's give it a try. An intuitive menu has been added, the ordering order remains the same, everything is very uncomplicated! Despite a minor system error, the problem was quickly found, also thanks to the usual friendly staff. I really hope that many people will be inspired by it. I cannot understand the criticism mentioned so far. So dear ones, keep it up! As usual, the food is fresh and delicious. There's nothing new to say about that ;-)

The new concept... It's shit. I went to the store today to get a sub, of course why else... Before, even if something was going on, I would be out after 5-7 minutes. Today you order from a vending machine (hello McDonalds) and then the product is prepared. If I hadn't stopped the process I would have missed my train. This is a 0 number and I will every store Avoid those who rely on it. The employees were and are super friendly here and are happy to help, but that's not an option for me. The time easily doubles. Was here yesterday and it was the worst visit to Subway in the world! The service employee was completely overwhelmed with 6 orders. And you should hire someone in Germany who speaks German. Pronouncing the numbers was a cramp for him at best and he didn't actually understand it. Counting and giving out money wasn't his forte either. The two girls who were there weren't quite as quick as I was used to. 12 minutes for a sub from the terminal order was just that.
