Subway in Aachen

We ordered via Uber Eats. In short: once and never again. We waited more than two hours for delivery. When the food arrived, it was cold and the salad looked awful...

Don't eat here. This place has rats, as already pointed out by other reviewers. Let's hope the Lebensmittelüberwachungsamt of Aachen will do something about it.

We ordered our food at 7:30 p.m., but it didn't arrive until 9:10 p.m. The food arrived cold and incomplete; a drink, a cookie, and some sub ingredients were missing. I can't recommend delivery...

I placed an order through the app. The order was accepted, and I received a message that it was ready and on its way. Almost an hour and a half after placing the order, I received a message that the order had been canceled. From what I understand, this is a common practice at this location.

After ordering it took 2 and a half hours for my order to be delivered. The food was cold when the order arrived and part of the order wasn't even correct. They can't do anything to fix it so my advice is: DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THEM.

We ordered and paid through Thuisbesorgd. The food wasn't delivered. But it was marked as delivered and dated two hours earlier. No one answered our calls. We texted the driver, but there was no response. About four hours later, we received a text saying the order had been canceled.

Waited 2:40 hours for my sub. No one was available by phone. The delivery man calmly strolled up the stairs, still on the phone, and wordlessly pressed the sub into my hand. The sub was cold and completely soggy. It also had very few toppings. But at least they didn't screw up the order, and everything I ordered was on the sub.

Order only if you have 1-3 hours to spare. The food will be cold as well. Would recommend this restaurant to my enemies. Lol

I've bought takeout food from here many times. If you order via the ordering machine, everything is usually correct. Occasionally, an ingredient gets mixed up, but that can happen. If you order directly from the employees, unfortunately, you can forget about it completely. The staff hardly speaks any German, and English is also only marginal. Despite its relatively new age, the branch seems somewhat "run down." Like many other reviewers here, I also noticed the partially desolate condition.

I ordered via UberEats on Wednesday evening, and the food arrived almost exactly an hour later than the app estimated. The food was exactly what you'd expect from Subway.

No one can be reached by phone. I've ordered from there twice via Lieferando. I placed the first order at around 9:50 p.m. and the order arrived at 1:00 a.m. I didn't think it was that bad because I thought it was a one-off. I placed the second order today, and it was quicker this time. I only had to wait 2 hours and 30 minutes for my food. When someone at Subway finally answered the phone, the nice employee said the driver would be there soon, even though 2 hours had already passed by that time. Unfriendly and rude. Never again from this branch.

I ordered the food at 8 p.m., but it didn't arrive until midnight. I called to cancel the order, and the lady on the phone told me the delivery person was on the way. Three hours later, he still hadn't arrived, so I called again, but she deliberately didn't answer the phone. An hour later, the delivery person finally arrived and woke me and the entire neighborhood up at midnight with his ringing, even though everyone was already asleep. Never again.

Bad staff and bad delivery waiting time over 2 hours

Very tasty We ordered via Uber Eats for pickup. Everything went smoothly. The food was prepared fairly quickly. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We even received two free cookies. 10/10 There's a restroom in the building, and it's in good condition. I would happily recommend it.

Rats in the restaurant! The flooring under one of the doors is broken, allowing rats to get into the restaurant and walk between your feet while you eat. Absolutely disgusting. There's also a bottle in the refrigerator with a very strange color and markings. Unfortunately, I received no response to my report to Subway.

The subs are minimally tossed and not worth the money. The place "closes" before the official time. I'm disappointed.

Ordered food over two hours ago and still haven't received it, even though Uber Eats says "30-40 minutes" 😡😡 I haven't eaten anything today, and it's already 1 a.m., and I have work tomorrow!!!!!! An hour ago, the employee on the phone told me it was already on its way and should be here in 15 minutes. Now they're closed, and no one's answering, and I still haven't received my order!! I expect a sincere apology and more than a full refund for this sh**ty service!!! I would have eaten somewhere else during that time, but now all the places are closed.

We ordered at 8:00 a.m., it's now 10:00 a.m., and there's no food in sight. The app's display has been stuck since about 9:30 a.m., saying it's supposed to be there at 9:20 a.m. Even if you try to contact us somehow, the line is either busy or you get hung up. This isn't the first time this has happened; what a joke this place is.

Solid Subway. Parking on site is a bit silly, but the food is generally delicious and the staff is friendly.

What can I say... I've never had an experience like this - not recommended. First of all: We ordered via Lieferando. We didn't read the reviews beforehand. Unfortunately our order wasn't there after 3 hours, which is why we wanted to ask by phone and tried to call. We tried 12 times before someone answered the phone. Unfortunately they couldn't give us any information about the driver who apparently had our order. The employee wanted to contact him and then call us back. Unfortunately that didn't happen. Our calls went unanswered another 16 times until someone answered the phone. We were then told that they didn't know where the food was at the moment and that it would arrive soon and if not, we should call again - so that it could be cancelled. We already mentioned during this phone call that we would like to cancel the order. After 15 minutes the food was suddenly there, cold.

Very small parking spaces therefore one star less, service and food was good. Watch out for promotions!

“Absolutely disappointing – never again!” I don't even know where to start. The service was subpar. The employee was extremely unfriendly, completely ruined my sub - a disaster in terms of taste - and then she took what felt like centuries of time when it came to cashing out. No smile, no greeting, no nothing. This kind of behavior is absolutely unacceptable in customer service. I have rarely experienced such unloving and disrespectful interaction. If you don't like your job, you should probably do something else - but please not at the expense of the customers. An imposition from start to finish.

Order taken at 10:40pm and never delivered. Calls ignored

We ordered there via Lieferando. A delivery time of 70 minutes was stated. After 1 hour 45 minutes there was still no driver in sight. After calling we were told the driver had already picked up the food and would be there in 30 minutes (maybe a little later). As a reason, we were told that the delivery address was far away....with Google Maps this route is 15 minutes long....the order was probably not even processed....having to wait over 2 hours and 15 minutes for an order is evidence of substandard service. We are curious whether it will stay at over 2 hours or whether it will be even later... but then we will no longer accept the order and the driver will be allowed to take it the whole loooong way again... UPDATE: After 2 hours and 30 minutes the driver arrived...it was almost 1:00 at night...the food was cold and soggy...the driver was still friendly and he explained to us that the branch had ordered him back halfway because there were two more orders in our direction. He could no longer deliver one of them because the people were no longer there (probably moved, emigrated or died in the meantime...). Our conclusion: We will never order there again, it's a waste of time, not to mention money. Absolutely not worth the price. Instead of Subway, I would think about completely reorganizing the branch, which might plan better...

I love Subway. Unfortunately the subway near the bus station was closed, so I ordered something from here. Delicious food, as always. Delivery took a while (I ordered via Lieferando) but there was a pretty precise time on the app, so you can't complain. The delivery person was also very friendly and accommodating. All in all: definitely recommended for a quick meal to go 🤗

This place is a joke we paid and ordered from here at 5pm it’s currently 8:20 pm , we called there and the guy said 20-30 minutes another hour went by so we called again and they stopped picking up our calls , on the app they set it as delivered took the money and no food. Scam.

Updated rating: I have always enjoyed eating here. We pre-ordered for the first time today and took 4 subs home with us. 3 out of 4 subs were wrong. Once there were jalapenos on a sub that were not ordered (in case of intolerance). Sometimes it had chicken instead of beef. The fried onions were missing. When we complained about it, we weren't believed and there was a lot of discussion. We should then watch so that they don't make any mistakes - we didn't agree to that. When we then asked about compensation for the circumstances, the employee "Achmed" reprimanded us in the most unfriendly manner with a raised index finger. They had already made us new subs and what we wanted now. That's not how you treat customers.

I ordered at the counter, paid and then waited for my order. The guy behind the counter first made a private phone call, ignored my order and then took care of others who came in after me. Service for the ton but what should you expect

Ordered from them at 10:50 p.m. and it was expected to arrive between 11:30 and 11:50 p.m. I had lost hope and thought nothing would happen until the doorbell rang at 1:20. I had previously called the store and expressly told them not to ring the bell but to call me when they got to the door. When I asked the supplier why he delivered the food so late, all he got was a dull "we have a lot of orders and few suppliers" and when I then asked why he rang the bell, he said he didn't have any information about it. (It said on the receipt that was attached to the bag that he should call when he gets there 🤗) You can say the same bad things about the food as before, it was soaked in cold water and just looked unappetizing.

Delivery was supposed to take 30-45 minutes, it ended up being over two hours. On the phone it was claimed that the supplier was already on his way. After that, however, it took over an hour. Instead of simply telling the truth on the phone, people simply lie. What arrived was probably already at Subway for an hour...

None of the sauces were there, and then the wrong ones on the subs. Waffle fries totally soggy

Basically a normal subway. But if you can't even speak German to any employee, I have no understanding whatsoever. The promotional bonuses could not be used either, even though this had been clearly agreed with JA beforehand! Unfortunately, we paid far too much and it wasn't even explained. I won't be coming here anymore!

One of the fastest and best Subways I know ordered a double pack from the delivery person and the order was delivered within 15 minutes and was still warm. Very fast delivery and very tasty

An absolute disaster! Instead of accusing the customer of making mistakes, it's better to make sure you don't make any yourself! We ordered via Lieferando at 12:13 p.m., with an announced delivery by 1:05 p.m. After waiting over 30 minutes, we called at 1:35 p.m. to ask where our food was. The first reaction: We were assumed to have given the wrong number - which is definitely not true! When the employee finally realized that the mistake was his, they suddenly said that the food would be “sent out immediately.” But by then my break had long since been ruined! I politely declined the food. Thank you for the messy lunch break – never again!

A modern subway with great service. Everything was very clean, there were hygiene products in the women's toilet. The other subways in Aachen can learn a lesson from this.

I ordered on thuisbezorgd and waited 2 hours then called them and they said another 25 mins it’s been 25 minutes and the food is still not here and I don’t think it will even arrive it’s currently 23:40 pm and they close at midnight. I ordered at 9:18pm

I ordered 4 subs on December 4th, 2024. They arrived after almost 2 hours. One thing wasn't included and one sub was so dry and hard that I had to throw it away. I called and wanted to send me the 55€ back, unfortunately it hasn't been transferred back until today.

The best subway in Aachen! Great opening times, always friendly and courteous staff. Absolutely recommended!

Ordered 4 subs through Lieferando and all 4 subs arrived cold UNGETOADTED and raw, all inedible. Called the restaurant afterwards and as a gesture of goodwill the restaurant only wanted to replace ONE of FOUR subs for us.

I have been a Subway customer for years and can only recommend it. Always delicious and fresh. And to the idiots out there who complain: a sandwich cools down quickly. The food is very tasty, but the service is unfortunately like so many subway services... The staff only speaks a little German or English and understands neither the tablets nor how the economy menus are put together. Ordered with Lieferando, a 30 sub, delivery route because I'm not allowed to leave the premises during working hours: approx. 400m. Delivery time one and a half hours according to Lieferando. We are currently at 2 hours and all I get from Subway on the phone is a ridiculous: “Sorry, the driver is on the way. The driver is on site and delivers in a maximum of 10 minutes!” That was 20 minutes ago! When asked what's taking so long, there's NOTHING going on in the store, I can practically look in there from work, even a tired one: "I'm sorry!" I'm curious to see whether it'll come today or not!

Ordered via Uber Eats during the week. We waited 3.5 hours for our food. After 2 hours I called the restaurant to ask if we had been forgotten, which was confirmed to me. We were promised cookies as a gesture of goodwill. When the order in question arrived it was incomplete and cold. Neither the sauces were there nor the cookies promised as a gesture of goodwill. The subs contain ingredients that shouldn't be there. Very disappointing.

I only know Subway in a hurry, it can take a while when there's a lot going on, but here people prefer to chat instead of processing orders. And if you order at the terminal it takes even longer and it's better to get the other orders ready, after all they still have to pay. When I asked why after waiting for over 40 minutes you still had to wait behind the people who had just come in, you just said yes, you're getting ready now. It took another 10 minutes until you could finally take two subs with you. Subway gladly but not here anymore

After waiting 1.5 hours for the food, you call and they say you tried to call, which isn't true. Then they say you have to clarify everything with the customer first because you want to pay in cash (this is new to me and has never happened before). Unfriendly staff when you ask where your order is and then they say the order is still being processed and you have to wait another 30 minutes and then you just hang up on the phone. After being asked twice to clean the women's restroom and also put out new toilet paper, an employee went in with three rolls of toilet paper and came right back out. I ordered two chicken teriyaki. The lady, who is short with dark black hair and a bit chubby added vegetables without asking me. When I selected two vegetables, she informed me there would be an extra charge. Later, when it came to the sauce, another lady rushed me, insisting I pay. I tried explaining that I wasn't finished yet with the sauce, meanwhile the other lady proceeded to add a sauce without asking again. When I requested a different sauce and told her i didn’t choose this one, the same lady insisted on an additional payment. Are you hiring people with expertise in fraud? I wasn't given the chance to choose what I wanted, and now others are being charged for things they didn't select. This is the worst Subway branch I've ever been to.

The fries is not fresh almost from the last night if it is not older. Very dry, taste so bad. I couldn’t eat it. I just literally throw it. I had to go to the toilet within 15 minutes after eating the chicken Tyriaki.

The employees at Subway were averagely friendly - not overly accommodating, but not unfriendly either. However, the store appeared deserted and appeared to be lacking staff. I found the prices to be too high, especially considering that the taste of the food was not convincing. If I had spent the 12 euros on two kebabs instead, the value for money and the filling would probably have been better.

The saddest subs I've ever seen. Since I always buy Veggie Delight Subs for myself and my wife, it is of course important to me that there is a bit of green stuff on them. You want to get your fill from somewhere. The last few times I've always been annoyed at how sparsely the subs were filled. The climax was reached yesterday. Awesome staff, great service. Ingredients in subway sandwiches are usually the same country chain, and how they make is what makes the difference. Well this crew knows how sandwiches should be layered and served. If you crave Sub I would recommend this location in AC.
