I was there at 10:40 PM. I ordered at the terminal. Just before paying, I was asked to leave the store with the explanation that they were closed. Opening hours are until 11:00 PM. The music was incredibly loud, and a male employee sat bored at a table while a female employee stood behind the counter with her phone in her hand. I don't think that has anything to do with customer service anymore.

I waited a good 15 minutes for my sub. They should probably just get rid of the terminals if they can't handle this.

If I could, I wouldn't even give this star. My husband ordered a meal from Uber Eats, but unfortunately, the sandwich was delivered completely wrong. After he went there in person to complain and received the correct one, the employee didn't even apologize and instead tried to deny it. Unfortunately, they didn't have the right bread (Italian) either. He then wanted to leave the wrong sandwich there and get his money back. This was refused in a more than rude manner. The employee who was on shift at 9 p.m. on October 17th didn't want to give him his name or that of his supervisor. Such unprofessional behavior is simply unacceptable. Instead of correcting a simple mistake, the situation escalated unnecessarily. This branch has been canceled for us despite its proximity, but to avoid further frustrated customers, I would strongly recommend employee training.

Absolutely terrible. I ordered via Uber Eats and they delivered a completely wrong sandwich. When I went there to complain, they offered me a new sandwich, but not with the bread I ordered, and the cookie that was missing from my order was also out of stock. So, I didn't get the food I wanted. The employee told me that a refund wouldn't be possible either. When I then asked for the names of the two employees, the employee at the cash register got really rude and claimed he didn't have a name.

You rarely experience such slow service. Luckily, there were only two of us in the store – if there had been more, I probably would never have gotten a chance. When I finally wanted to pay, the cashier suddenly left to make a sandwich. A colleague then took over because he probably saw that I didn't like it. The order at the terminal wasn't entirely clear either. I chose a sandwich for about €7, without any extras – but I still had to pay over €10 at the checkout. At McDonald's, KFC, or even Burger King, the system is much more transparent. I don't think I'll buy anything there again. Oh yes – I almost forgot: the sandwich was delicious, after all.

I hate to give bad reviews, but unfortunately my visit to the Subway on Südring was a disappointment. An obviously new employee was supposed to prepare my sub, but she didn't know the name (“Taco Beef Fiesta”) or the ingredients. That wouldn't have been a bad thing in itself, but an experienced colleague was standing right next to her - without really giving her any guidance. Instead of actively helping, he only intervened to reduce the amount of coating. What was particularly annoying was that paid extras like caramelized onions only ended up on the sub in a barely noticeable amount, while the nachos and guacamole, which are included in the price of the sub, were completely missing. When I later asked at the checkout whether guacamole, nachos and onions were actually included, I was just fobbed off with a free bag of chips - there was no refund for the missing ingredients. I have never eaten such an extremely sparsely topped sub. Very disappointing!

Subway is one of the better franchise chains. Here you can find fresh and well-filled baguettes/sandwiches with all kinds of meat, salads, sauces and breads, which you can put together yourself from countless ingredients, with lots of additional extras. In terms of ingredients, you also have healthier or more nutritious fast food than some burger chains. Overall, the sandwiches taste good and fresh. At the ordering terminal you can put together your sandwiches according to your mood, in all possible variations and combinations, there is a huge amount of ingredients. These are then freshly topped and prepared after ordering. In addition to the sandwiches, there are also wraps, salads, mixed side dishes, desserts such as cookies and also a chip stand. The counter is open and you can look at all the ingredients and watch it being prepared. Everything is clean and fresh. The store itself looks chic and modern, with lots of space inside and a large terrace outside, also with plenty of seating. There is a customer parking lot in front of the store and a gas station around the corner. The shop is clean so far, but the tables often still have crumbs on them. They could be wiped down more quickly and regularly after customers. The staff are friendly, the food is prepared at a normal speed. The prices are okay, considering that you can get a 30cm thick sandwich for €10, for example. Sometimes when it's busier, the employees get a little stressed while preparing it and it can take a little longer. Overall I am satisfied with the store, thank you 😃

Placed an order online. That always works very well. When I went to pick it up they said they didn't know anything and they always asked for some name. There was only one order ready for pickup but even when I showed him the order and said my name, I didn't get anything. I really wasn't happy ordering from here. At around 6:30 p.m. a worker prepared my order extremely slowly. He could have made my order in 2 minutes, but no, he starts talking to his colleague who just came from the back department. Then while we were eating vegetables the phone rang. He then completely leaves me hanging until someone else has to jump in to finish the order. There was no “Hey, can someone jump in” where you had to answer the phone quickly. All that was missing was the sauce and he didn't have to do anything else. Checkout done. I have no idea what was going on in his head. But of course I drew the worse card again. The person who was on the phone had to pay me super. The order was printed out and he first takes a good look at the order where I was standing in front of it and says “whoa” about the receipts he received. Probably the slowest subway I know. The last time I bought goods there about 2 weeks ago, it was dripping from the ceiling, there were 2 people in the store and I had to wait 20 minutes longer for my online order. In the time I sat there and waited, the colleague managed to make 3 sandwiches. Probably new, but it's still really slow. If you have to, you can go. It still tasted good though.

The food didn't taste good at all. We got plant-based chicken and got real chicken. Cookies were significantly smaller than normal Subway cookies. Tables were dirty. Employees overwhelmed with 5 guests and also extremely unfriendly. Wouldn't recommend anyone to eat there

Especially the young, blonde guy treats his colleagues so rudely, insults them in front of the customers and as a customer you are treated totally disrespectfully by this blonde guy! Never again!!! Just because I didn't know the name of the bread, the employee (Anja) commented, "Oh shit." This kind of behavior shows that respect and professionalism are obviously not a priority here. For a company like Subway, this is an absolute no-go – customers shouldn't feel like they're the target of personal frustration. I hope this is taken seriously internally.

I have a Telekom voucher that's supposed to get you a free sandwich. Unfortunately, I couldn't redeem it at either the Schadowstraße branch or the branch in Düsseldorf's Altstadt district. Why doesn't it work? Honestly, I find it disappointing when such promotions are heavily advertised but then don't work.

Visit on Thursday, November 6th We received excellent service. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive, especially since my girlfriend has celiac disease; they really took every precaution to avoid cross-contamination. The sandwiches were delicious, and the ingredients seemed fresh. If I had to suggest something, I would say that the restaurant could use some background music to make the atmosphere more inviting. Overall, a very positive experience; I would definitely come back.
