We celebrated our wedding here. Planning in advance very experienced and competent. Sometimes a little too set in stone for us personally and a little not flexible when it comes to customer requests. Just a few nice little things to make you feel even more comfortable... Extra requests are always possible, but of course have to be paid for. The day itself was a 5 out of 5. Food was excellent, as was the service. All guests were very enthusiastic about the location, ambience and service. The price is a little more expensive, but you also have the Strandwerk exclusively for yourself. It was definitely worth it and we had an unforgettable day.

It was - as always - a really great visit to the Strandwerk. Absolute favorite restaurant. Great food, a really good selection of dishes for my taste. For both small and large appetites. Very nice service and a great ambience with a beautifully redesigned wooden terrace. A wonderful break, whether during your lunch break, after work or on the weekend.

Super nice break stop on our bikepacking tour! Great service, food was great, enough space for the bikes in sight! Unfortunately we couldn't jump into the lake, but that was due to an event from the neighbors. We'll definitely be back! #cyclitsapproved

The service was really good and the employees were very nice. Prices are extremely high and the dishes are very small. Unfortunately the food wasn't good The salmon was full of bones and some were really big. The rosemary potatoes had never seen rosemary and had to be ordered as an additional side dish. I also reported this back and got the information that I could have contacted you, but we had been waiting for the food for a long time anyway, so I was hungry. The dessert wasn't very tasty either. The brownie was okay but the cake and tarts tasted rather boring.

Food and drinks taste good! Great ambience and the beautiful view directly to Lake Düren! Very nice in summer and when the weather is nice. It's okay when it's raining, but you're sitting inside, but there's less going on in bad weather ☺️ Very child friendly! There are also children's menus! All in all a nice place to just go out for food and drinks! One star less because you had to speak to the waiters directly - everything took a little longer, even though there wasn't much going on - but someone new was also trained. I'm assuming that was the reason. The food was also initially served without cutlery. Drinks came straight away. When reordering it took a while until someone came to the table. But overall very friendly and nice place!

Despite the restaurant being a little fuller, the food was brought to the table quickly and was very tasty. The service is very courteous and nice. Recommended!

The ambience at the swimming lake is really nice. The young lady at Seevice was also very courteous and attentive. The food, however, is rather so-so.

It was already so full at 6 p.m. that we had to switch to the paid part [€3].

Hello, today the three of us were at Strandwerk Essen. Starter: Bruschetta on a rocket salad, then 10 shrimps with a side dish, excellently fried, a dream! Steak medium was cooked to perfection and seasoned very well. Pulled pork with rosemary potatoes. Everything was just delicious! We would love to come back. Keep it up. Thanks for the good service 😊

Unfortunately the service has deteriorated massively. Sorry but 50 minutes waiting time for drinks is just not OK. Especially if the neighboring table is being served and you have already registered.

Very comfortable but a bit expensive We waited over an hour for the food. For a salad plate!!!!. I found it very extreme. And I think it's outrageous if you have to pay a parking fee for a parking lot that has more large potholes than anything else.

We waited an extremely long time for our food. We had reserved the table for 7:30 p.m. and, after asking, the food was not brought to us until 8:50 p.m. It was just a salad and a foccachia with chicken breast.

Very nice atmosphere, right on the Düren bathing lake. Unfortunately, the experience is quickly marred by the very long waiting time. 1 H. 45 minutes and still no food. There is a sign indicating a lack of staff, but everything has its limits...a shame

Nice here with a view of the water. Too little shade on the sand courts. It can then get really too hot. More parasols would be better. Especially when there is a lot going on. So that there is still a shadow option. Otherwise a great place to end the day. Ate tarte flambée here, it tasted good.

As a wedding planner, I was a guest at Strandwerk for the first time yesterday and I was thrilled. That was a great celebration. All the appointments in advance were perfect: always warm, helpful and professional. We had a lot of fun preparing and everything was just right on a personal level! I can recommend Strandwerk and its team with a clear conscience. Great ambience, great service, very good food and together we managed to fulfill all of “our” bride and groom’s wishes! Hopefully not the last wedding there for me :-)

We had a cozy and delicious evening on the beautiful terrace overlooking the lake. We were particularly impressed by the extremely attentive and friendly service provided by the young employee. The other employees were also very friendly. We felt very comfortable! Thank you very much!

The location is very beautiful, especially because of its direct location on the lake. The service was good, the falafel we were served was subpar. Simply cruel and absolutely not produced in the kitchen there. That was a scary mess. We also ordered bread (which actually comes with it) and were served 4 wafer-thin slices of a mini baguette. Absolutely a no go. Very disappointing.

We wanted to get to know the Strandwerk today, sat outside, ordered 2 x falafel with bread and sour cream for €7.90 each, according to the menu with bread. The bread was completely missing. When asked, 4 slices of baguette came. These were then charged at €2.50!!!!!! And in terms of taste, the falafel balls were not a revelation. The location and the view over the swimming lake is absolutely beautiful.

Unfortunately I haven't been there this year, but I've been there more often last year..... Wonderful ambience, vacation is practically on the doorstep..... Culinary delights and great staff round it all off!!!!

On the occasion of my birthday, I invited 26 guests to brunch there. Having reserved it weeks in advance, I was promised a table right by the window. The long table became 3 separate tables in the far corner where my guests could hardly get out. The requested high chairs were not there. The MINI cake that a guest brought was charged €52 "without warning"!! +€14.50 corkage fee for no reason!! What annoys me the most is that I only checked the bill (upon request) when I got home. Addendum: The owner apologized to me over the phone and my money will be refunded. Of course it didn't have to happen. But that's why 3 stars instead of 1 star.

I was just a guest! But my hostess was charged outrageous prices. It wasn't special, the staff wasn't special and there were around 20 people pushing us around because we were shoved into the farthest corner.

I'd rather not comment on what the owner is doing to potential guests here.

I was with you on Sunday afternoon shortly after 2 p.m. and wanted to drink coffee and eat a delicious, freshly baked cake. Even though there wasn't that much going on outside, it took a relatively long time before I could place my order. I was able to order coffee. When I wanted to order cake, the waitress looked at me a little strangely and said that she didn't have any cake. It's a shame, and it says on the homepage that there is always freshly baked cake. And this is also on the downloadable drinks and menu. A pity.... The atmosphere is quite nice.

Waren am Sonntag beim Standwerk zum essen. Auf der Speisekarte waren nur Kleinigkeiten und die aber zu einem hohen Preis. Wir haben uns für einen Pullpork-Gericht entschieden. Das war garnichts. Tolle Lage des Restaurants aber das Essen war nicht gut und die Speisekarte versprach auch nichts besseres.

Ein ganz tolles Restaurant das schön am Badesee Düren liegt..... Man hat von drinnen oder bei schönem Wetter von draußen auf Terrasse ein wunderbaren Blick auf den Badesee.... Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr Freundlich und aufgeschlossen und das Essen ist 1a.

Gemütliche Atmosphäre mit wunderschönem Ausblick auf den See. Sehr leckerer Kuchen aus eigener Herstellung. Bedienung super freundlich. Bestens zu empfehlen.

A great place with great atmosphere for Lunch or Dinner in the greater Area of Düren. I can only recommend it, regardless of whether one whishes to do a stop over on a bike tour or go out for dinner.

Schön gelegenes, modern eingerichtetes Restaurant mit tollem Blick auf den See. Eigentlich perfekt für ein Abendessen bei Sonnenuntergang. Der Service ist freundlich, die Bestellungen brauchen abends aber schon recht lange. Die Speisekarte scheint saisonal zu wechseln, was schon mal sehr positiv ist. Die Gerichte sind zudem wirklich lecker, es fehlt nur der letzte Pfiff um wirklich ein Highlight zu sein.

Trotz Reservierung wird man im leeren Restaurant in die letzte Ecke verwiesen nachdem man freie Platzwahl angeboten bekommt, sich einen Platz aussucht und dann wieder weggeschickt wird. Das nicht zum ersten Mal. Früher war‘s echt nice, mittlerweile echt schwierig sich zu überwinden es nochmal zu versuchen. Essen gut, Service sehr unangenehm.

Wunderbar! Der Service war außerordentlich freundlich, sehr aufmerksam und sehr oft an unserem Tisch, um nachzufragen, ob alles OK ist. Das Essen sowie der Kaffee und die Kirsch-Schorle kamen sehr schnell. Man sitzt hier wunderbar und kann die Wakeboarder bei ihren Sprüngen bewundern. Die Tomatensuppe war perfekt - keine doofe Dose und keine schwere Creme, sondern einfach viel frische Tomate! Dasselbe gilt für die Edamame: knackig, frisch, warm, lecker! Sehr zu empfehlen!

Entspannt und für Düren ein Highlight

Leider war das Personal nicht wirklich aufmerksam. Teelicht wurde nicht angezündet, nur auf extra Nachfrage und dann brannte das Teelicht ganze 10 Sekunden, weil es schon am Ende war (un das um 14 Uhr). Die Tische werden also scheinbar mittags vor der Öffnung um 12 Uhr nicht frisch bestückt. Kaffee und Cappuccino bestellt. Der Cappuccino-Tasse war dermaßen klein, da bekommt man woanders einen Espresso drin geliefert. Der Kaffeelöffel war dreckig mit angetrockneten Kaffeeresten. Zucker wurde nicht bereitgestellt. Auf Nachfrage, ob man dreimal Zucker haben könnte, wurden nur zwei Päckchen gebracht. Milch gab es zum Kaffee auch nicht dazu. Anachließend noch einen Softdrink bestellt. Da wurde nur die Flasche hingestellt. Kein Glas, keine Scheibe Zitrone, nichts. Insgesamt sehr schwacher Service. Daher gerne nicht wieder, obwohl die Lage am See ganz interessant war.

Sehr gemütliche Anlage sehr geeignet für Events direkter Zugang wenn keine Events sind zum Badesee.Ausflug lohnt sich allerdings nichts für den kleinen Geldbrutel aber tolle Cocktails.

Wir waren mehrfach zum Essen hier und haben außerdem unsere Hochzeit hier gefeiert. Dabei sind keine Wünsche offen geblieben: tolles Essen und toller Service in einer wunderbaren Location! Auch im Vorfeld wurden wir bei der Planung in jeder Hinsicht unterstützt. Wir würden uns sofort wieder so entscheiden.

Das Ambiente ist eine eine Perle in düren und Umgebung. Der Service war jedesmal unglaublich freundlich und gut gelaunt trotz viel Betrieb. Auch das Essen ist lecker und reichlich. Nur zu empfehlen :)

Wir haben im Strandwerk unsere Hochzeit gefeiert. Es war für uns die perfekte Location. Bereits die Abstimmung im Vorfeld mit der Inhaberin lief unkompliziert und entspannt. Am Tag selbst wurde vor Ort alles so umgesetzt, wie wir es uns vorgestellt haben. Das Essen war hervorragend, die Bedienung freundlich, alle Gäste wurden stets mit Getränken versorgt. Das Ambiente war einfach der Wahnsinn, bei Sonnenuntergang mit offener Glasfront und leckeren Drinks feiern, was will man mehr. Es war ein rundum gelungener Tag und wir würden uns immer wieder für das Strandwerk entscheiden.

Bardzo przyjemne miejsce w pięknej okolicy. Przemiła i szybka obsługa. Oferta jedzenia może nie jest zbyt bogata, ale bardzo smaczna. Serdecznie polecam.

Location gut … andre super. Aber das wohl der Stammkunden wird nicht sehr groß geschrieben. Essen leider auch nicht gut … aber mit der Lage kann man sich alles schön reden. :-)

Heute spontan zum Strandwerk. Es waren mit uns als Familie 3 Personen noch 2 weitere Gäste vor Ort. Wir haben ca. 20 min auf unsere Getränke warten müssen. Das kurz darauf bestellte Essen, kam dann nach 1,5 Stunden später. Es tut mir leid aber bei so wenig Betrieb so lange warten zu müssen geht garnicht. Bedienung war aber sehr Nett.

Chilige und schönes Ambiente außen bei tollem Wetter zu empfehlen

We had lunch here after our wedding in Schloss Burgau. We had never been to this place before as we don't live in the area but it was absolutely amazing. Ths food was perfect. We oredered a mix of dishes to share. Everything was arranged beautifully and the service was very good. We can only recommend it!

Ich habe meine Geburtstag im Strandwerk gefeiert. Die Location war einfach wunderschön. Selbst im Winter. Alle Gäste waren begeistert und viele lernten einen neuen Ort in Düren kennen. Der Service war einfach top. Freundlich, sehr aufmerksam und für alle Wünsche offen. Auch die Chefin war sehr geduldig. Alle Fragen (nicht gerade wenige 🙈) wurden schnell und freundlich beantwortet. Alle Wünsche konnten angesprochen und umgesetzt werden. Auch wurde mir mit Ratschlägen und Einschätzungen zur Seite gestanden. Das Essen war super. Keiner hat und konnte meckern, auch das ist ja selten. Alles in allem unvergesslich. Und es wird nicht das letzte Mal gewesen sein. Vielen lieben Dank an das komplette Team ❤️

Sehr schöne Aussengastronomie am Badesee

Wir waren dort frühstücken. Alles sehr lecker und gute Ware. Was mich ein wenig geärgert hat, das Frühstück kostet inkl. einem Glas Sekt 19.90 € pro Person. Für eine Kanne Kaffee wurden nochmals 11 € berechnet. Das war mir nicht klar. Wir waren zu sechst. Aus dem Grunde werde ich mir überlegen, ob ich nochmals zum Frühstück hingehe. Eher nicht.

Kann ich zu 100 Prozent empfehlen .Freundliche Bedienung ,leckeres Essen .Einfach nur toll.

Wir haben unsere Hochzeit im Strandwerk gefeiert. Unsere Gäste und wir waren vollkommen begeistert. Alles war perfekt, Lokation,Personal, Getränke u Essen.

Wir waren mit unseren Kindern (5 und 7) zum Brunch dort. Tolles Essen, vor allem toller Service. Dazu kommt die Location, die mit viel Geschmack gekonnt eingerichtet ist.

Service war sehr gut, sowohl der „kleinere“ männliche als auch die „große“ mit den roten Haaren super herzlich. Der Espresso ist erstaunlich gut, so sieht die Maschine gar nicht aus. Drinks und Speisen prima, Aussicht too.

Heute mit meinen Söhnen im Strandwerk einen herrlichen Abend verbracht. Die Bedienung war freundlich und aufmerksam ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Das Essen war sehr gut und bei dem tollen Sonnenuntergang ein wirklich gelungener Abend. Dankeschön 😊 29.10. 2022 Heute mit meinen Freunden und Familie meinen 60. Geburtstag gefeiert. Alles war perfekt vorbereitet worden, das Personal ein Traum, DJ Sandro Diaz mega, die Beleuchtung von Klawi rundet das ganze ab. Das Flying Buffet eine super Idee von Frau Schwarz...es war köstlich. Einer der schönsten Momente meines Lebens und ich danke allen sehr.... Ich habe stundenlang getanzt 🥰
