Great restaurant! The two of us went for pizza, and what can I say: It was the best pizza I've had in Munich so far. The crust is wonderfully fluffy, and they didn't skimp on the toppings. The price is absolutely reasonable for the quality offered. The ambiance is very nice, and I especially like that they serve both Neapolitan pizza and German cuisine. The service was also very friendly. We'd love to come back 😊

Delicious! We had a pizza and a burger. Amazing! I really recommend both options, and I want to come back. They have a different French fries, and it was very tasty. They also have a few options for vegetarians, and also for people with other restrictions like peanut and lactose intolerant. The weiter was great and polite, very careful. The only negative point is we had to do the whole order on our phones, so made everything very confusing and we end up confusing also the weiter, He was very patient, but this type of order is not so nice to me. But it's definitely not a no-go. I would visit the place again.

I've been in Germany for 3 years and I've never tasted pizza this good. I can't give more than 5 stars only because it's not possible. Unfortunately, I can't go out to eat often because I'm an hour and a half from Munich. However, I'll go to Munich every now and then just to eat pizza here. These guys have managed to bring Naples to Germany! Incredible!!! P.S. Super clean oil and super clean staff, which is not a given these days. Thank you so much.

I ordered through Uber Eats. After over an hour, the order was canceled. That's beyond annoying. This is the second time this has happened to me.

Ordered online and had to wait two hours for it to arrive. On top of that, the pizza was cold. The crust wasn't cooked through, and the tomato sauce was quite bland.

Excellent value for money, good food, both good Neapolitan pizza and Bavarian cuisine, all of which are of good quality and flavor. They have a children's menu. The place is cute, with benches and tables, very spacious, and good service. Friendly waiters. I recommend it if you want something different for dinner or lunch. Takeout is also available for pizza. Easy to get to, with the tram 19/18 stop conveniently located in front of the place.

Okay, so it’s all a bit touristy and faux Bavarian, but it’s also fun and the food is decent. We ducked in here to avoid the rain (in July!!!) and had a lovely lunch with some fabulous beer. It had a lovely atmosphere and was just what we needed to recharge the batteries. It was well priced given the good quality of the food. Would definitely return.

I ordered something for delivery through Lieferando. It cost an extra €5.99 for delivery. After about 110 minutes, my order was canceled. All this happened without a call or comment. My calls weren't answered either. On top of that, the tip was withheld. I had paid via PayPal. It's very annoying to wait so long for the food and then they still don't deliver it. It's better not to offer this service.

Me encontré con las críticas para este lugar y decidimos darle una oportunidad. ¡Me alegro de haberlo hecho! El servicio era excelente, y la comida era tan deliciosa. Tenía el cerdo asado (Schweinbrauten) y estaba jugoso y delicioso. Mi esposo tenía las albóndigas, pero eran más como empanadas de carne (piense en Salisbury Steak). Dividimos el Kaiserschmarn de postre, que fue increíble. Gran lugar si usted está buscando comida bávara cerca de la estación principal!

Great pizza, the flair of a Bavarian restaurant, and polite and friendly service. The concept of Strada del Goethe is unique: two restaurants in one location. You can choose between extremely fluffy Neapolitan pizza and classic Bavarian dishes. From roast pork to pizza with burrata, there isn't a huge selection, but there's more than enough to satisfy everyone. There are even vegan pizzas. The interior is huge and there are plenty of places to sit. The only downsides: it's right next to the main train station (easy to get to, but the area is anything but beautiful) and the prices are very high. €10.90 for an Aperol and €17 for a pizza. Despite all that, if you can't decide between pizza and dumplings with friends, head to Strada del Goethe.

The atmosphere is Bavarian, which is somewhat unusual when eating pizza there. The staff was friendly, if not particularly attentive. Unfortunately, my pizza was only a 6/10; it was dripping with grease. This was partly due to the suckling pig on it, but I couldn't even eat half of it because the amount of oil and grease made me nauseous. The dough, however, is really very good. Perhaps I simply made the wrong choice with the toppings. The truffle pizza was a 7/10, which is doable, but for the rather hefty price of almost €19 per pizza, the restaurant is unfortunately too expensive for us overall.

I've rarely eaten such good pizza! The server was also extremely friendly, attentive, and fulfilled our every wish. He was also really funny, which made the evening particularly enjoyable. Highly recommended; we'd love to come back!

Ich hatte ein wenig Bedenken da es sehr touristisch besetzt war. Aber ich muß sagen , ich war positiv überrascht. Das Essen war sehr leckeren heiß ! Ich hatte die 1/4 Ente und die was echt lecker. Die Beilagen waren allerdings für einen erwachsenen Mann wie mich ,bisschen dürftig. Deshalb Preis/ Leistung etwas abgezogen.Das Paulaner war gut gekühlt und süffig.

A rude waiter put his hands on me and forcibly moved me from behind to tell me to wait along the wall with the delivery drivers. You don't know who I am or why I'm there. If this is representative of the character of this restaurant, then they don't deserve business.

They said the food was homemade, when it was clearly supermarket-quality. When they finally admitted it, they didn’t offer any compensation for a nearly €20 dish that I had to return untouched. Terrible food, awful customer service, and completely overpriced. An experience I won’t be repeating and cannot recommend less!

Comida deliciosa y cálida bienvenida todo el tiempo! Buenas cervezas bávaras y cosas amables! El mejor Kaiserschmarrn de la historia! Vale la pena visitarlo si quieres probar especialidades de comida local. El lugar está situado en el centro y es de fácil acceso, cerca de Hauptbahnhof.

Visité este restaurante con un grupo de amigos. Entramos y nos asignaron una mesa al lado de la ventana. Interesante diseño de interiores con recuerdos y fotos que recuerdan a siglos pasados. Varias opciones de pizza – estilo napolitano. Se recomienda encarecidamente la margerita, parmarella, strada del Goethe y tartufata. Gordan era un camarero excepcional. Era cortés, profesional y amable. Hizo nuestra experiencia de cena de primera categoría.

Always tasty😋 we have eaten there several times as the food is really delicious! It’s a good combination of German and all European cousins. Main course and desserts absolutely recommended!!! All our friends, with whom we have shared the reviews, go there every time they are in Munich.

We ordered and unfortunately received the wrong order (Diavola instead of Margherita & I don't eat meat or spicy). When I called the restaurant to ask whether our correct order was still there, they simply hung up and then I couldn't get through on the phone as if I had been blocked. Even when I removed all the toppings including the cheese, the pizza was still too spicy for me. What a shame!

Ein Touristenlokal, das man nicht besuchen sollte, wenn man sich unterhalten möchte. Extrem laut! Die Preise dazu extrem hoch für das Gebotene. Als ich dann noch ein Stück Plastik aus meiner Karottensuppe fischte, verging mir der Appetit. War mein erster und letzter Besuch. Einen Stern für den Kellner, der keinen einfachen Job hat und sich bemühte.

A really nice inn. Modernly furnished. It is located very close to the main train station and is therefore very busy. A reservation is definitely necessary and if you want to go out to eat that same evening, you must reserve online by 2 p.m. (otherwise write a message online or by phone). The selection of dishes ranges from good home cooking to pizzas. The Wienerschnitzel is pounded thin and extremely seasoned. Fried potatoes or potato salad are served with this. But fries are also possible. The latter are spicy spiced. That's how I like it! So highly recommended. Unfortunately, Kaiserschmarrn is not fluffy. Three bites are enough. He is plump and fattening. But looks very nice. Delicious plate of cheese buttons. Crispy onions. Way too big a portion. The service is very friendly. The food is served quickly. If you like to be cozy and warm, you should NOT want a table near the door. Since the outside door is often not closed, a cold wind blows through the restaurant. Toilets are clean.

The best pizza I have ever eaten in Germany, nice and fluffy dough. The selection is sufficient and the toppings were fresh and delicious. Definitely a MUST when you are in Munich.

Nuestro camarero, GoGo (espero que lo escribimos correctamente) fue muy útil traduciendo el menú para nosotros y haciendo recomendaciones. Servicio rápido, comida deliciosa y no demasiado caro! Fabuloso ambiente ocupado sin sentir prisa. Nos quedamos tan impresionados que volvimos al día siguiente para un almuerzo tardío, hoy nuestro camarero era Cipi que también era muy servicial, atento. Rara vez te encuentras con un frente tan trabajador, amable y servicial del personal de la casa que obviamente trabaja en equipo y buena comida. No puedo recomendar este restaurante lo suficiente, una visita es una necesidad!

Wir waren nach einer durchzechten Nacht in diesem Lokal. Bedienung top. Ladislaw hat uns den Tag versüsst, ein äussers kommunikativer und herzlicher Gastgeber. Bzgl. dem Menü: Diese Mischung aus rustikal, traditionell eingerichtetem bayerischen Lokal und der Möglichkeit auch neapolitanische Spezialitäten ist top. Innovatives Konzept trifft auf Tradition. Gegessen habe ich persönlich als Vorspeise die frittierten gemischten neapolitanischen Spezialitäten (Arancini etc.) und danach eine Pizza Diavola. Die Pizza hat nicht zu viel versprochen. Sie erfüllt die Anforderungen an eine originale Napoli-Pizza. Wir kommen wieder. Danke!

We ordered their pizza with a delivery service and every time we're surprised by how good the pizzas are. The pistachio pizza (Mortazza) is absolutely delicious! They should add a baking sheet to the box to prevent sticking but regardless I absolutely recommend it.

Restaurante muy céntrico, cerca de la estación central, con menú “tradicional” estándar. La comida no era nada especial. El servicio era bastante básico, el camarero no era particularmente educado y claramente no le gustaba hablar en otro idioma que el alemán, a pesar de la ubicación turística central.

If I could give this DUMP. 0 STArS i would. We called from our hotel and we were told just come in..no res needed. The front desk clerk gave us directions.It was an easy walk just behind the Munich Bahnhof (railway station). We walked in,the hostess,no greeting,asked how many people and she sat Us. She threw the menus on the table and walked away. The menus were in German which I can basically read but my family cannot. The table was in the back right side of the restaurant. The waitress,tall middle aged woman came to the table.She gave no greeting I asked if they had Engl8sh language men. Sh curtly said to "scan the back of The menu" and walked away.We could not.She came back,told her the issue,she With disdain threw a card on th table wit the access code an walked away.We still Were not able to open the menu I Englsh We told her,she said nothing,and walked away. I would have given it a zero but it only started at 1. What a huge disappointment. I ordered 1/4 grilled duck with potato dumplings on red cabbage. Well when it arrived it looked burnt but I continued and found it was dry, tough and I would suggest old and reheated. The dumplings were disgusting and difficult to eat. I spoke to the manager and he said something like “you’ve eaten it”. No not really I only ate 1/4of it. He offered a dessert to compensate but. By this time I wasn’t interested in having anything else. My partner had pork knuckle which she said was tasteless. It cost us €65 with a glass of wine and a beer. Red flag avoid at all costs.

Nettes Personal auch sehr engagiert gewesen. Menukarte super Auswahl mit klassischen Gerichten. Zusätzlich hab’s auch saisonale Katze. Portion sehr üppig. Super Lage zentral. Essen ging nicht nur schnell sondern hat auch super geschmeckt. Gerne wieder.

I ordered a salami pizza and a salami pizza with bacon was delivered. Not that bad in itself, but I found a metal splinter about 0.5cm in size on the first piece that was pointed and sharp-edged. If I had overlooked this, I really don't want to know what health consequences it could have had. I then got my money back from the delivery service. Large venue close to the central station. Fast and friendly service. Varied menu which includes Bavarian cuisine and Neapolitan pizza (a nice surprise! Not a bad Italian) and a good choice of beer. Maybe a little too noisy and the bathrooms a little dirty (perhaps because the place was full)... A certainty!

We ate here after the NFL game. Everywhere in Munich was busy. This restaurant was just near our hotel so we popped in the day before to book a table. It was extremely busy & whilst we did wait for our food for quite a while we completely understood why. The staff were run off their feet, yet remained smiling & cheerful throughout. Apologised for delays. Burgers were great & o/h had a pizza which he really enjoyed. Apple strudel good as was the beer! A lovely restaurant .

Beautiful restaurant! Highly recommended. Normal pizzas, if compared to Italy 🇮🇹 apart from the ingredients (for example the mortadella which is not like the one found in Italy, obviously!) but for being in Germany it is still very good. As for the pizzas, highly recommended! And there is also the German menu, but I only ordered from the German menu twice: once the schnitzel and the second time the pork shank, which I must say, wasn't bad either. So general review: excellent option for both pizzeria and restaurant.

Waited three hours for food to be delivered and then it was cancelled

After waiting over 2.5 hours, we canceled the order. Unfortunately there was no response from the restaurant either. The order appears to have “lost”. It's a shame, but then maybe another restaurant will take care of us.

2 Mal zum Abendessen dortgewesen und 2 mal sehr gut gegessen. Bayrisches Essen sehr gut,selber gegessen. Pizzen sahen sehr gut aus. Unbedingt reservieren. Nächstes Mal wieder.

식당에서는 없어이 적이 없어서 할 수 없어요. Picturesque Pictures My first time voluntarily writing a review since I came to Munich 2 years ago. The best pizza in the city. The dough is just amazing. Simple but strictly to the essence. I ordered from this place for around 5 or more times, it was just amazing every time. Highly recommend this place if you have gotten tired of paying for trash so far. I have never dined in the restaurant, so I can't speak for the service.

It was a good pizzeria for a cheap price. The quality of food went however down and the waitresses are always 15-20 min late to take your orders although you tell them you are in hurry. The restaurant is still clean and nice but I don’t think I will go back there in purpose after three disappointing dinners

We had a very tasty appetizer platter and two pizzas. The dough of the pizzas is nice and fluffy and the ingredients are high quality - but the taste wasn't particularly convincing. The ambience is very busy and loud. The service was attentive, but not particularly experienced in gastronomy. Overall, a nice rustic restaurant in a central location with good food.

I ordered online and the vegan Pistacchiosia pizza was amazing. One of the best, if not the best pizza I've ever had.

We had ordered something for dinner. The pizza was cold and soggy, the bruschetta was unfortunately burnt and the tiramisu was runny. The only thing that was good was the carpaccio. Once and never again.

Looking from outside in, you wouldn’t guess this would be one of the best pizzas you can find in Munich, since it’s well hidden in a very German restaurant. Service is fast and prices are fair for Munich standards. Try their specialty Strada del Goethe!

Faccio una precisazione: siamo arrivati in questo locale durante il periodo dell'Oktoberfest. Io non so se il clima all'interno del locale è sempre così o se abbiamo beccato la serata fortunata (dovuta al periodo), ma, quando passiamo di fronte al locale, la scena che ci troviamo davanti agli occhi è questa: gente che balla sui tavoli, musica dal vivo e locale pieno di birra e cibo tipico. Ci fiondiamo dentro. Dicono che i tedeschi siano freddi, ma ci hanno accolto come a casa. Il cibo è delizioso e la birra... non c'è bisogno che lo specifichi ;) Se arrivate in questo locale a ridosso delle 22:30, sappiate che la cucina sta per chiudere e vi faranno ordinare ancor prima di sedervi per offrirvi in tempo da mangiare!!

This restaurant is amazing. The food was exceptional. The brautwurst was so tender on top of a bed sauerkraut that was succulent and flavorful. The roasted pork also tender, full of flavor, melt in your mouth good with a side of kraut and bacon bits- yummy. I ordered a side of spaetzle which came with a mushroom sauce that was to die for, yummmmmmmy. I was in heaven with every part of our meal being exceptional, along with the service- Stefanie was sweet, kind, helpful and could not be more attentive with her covering so many other tables. This was a nite to go into the record books. Cheers, Prost, and thank god for Munchener Stubn.

Really a 3* restaurant, but I’m eating it 4* because it’s great for easy dining - lunch or dinner - if you’re staying near the train station. The food is fine and the service very friendly. We had 1/4 duck, schnitzel and the kaiserschmerren. All good. No reservations necessary, as there are tons of tables.

IT WAS AMAZING. EVERYTHING. The server SHARAF was amazing. When I ordered my meatballs TODAY on the September 10th around 7pm, the Salt just felt out of my plate and he was so nice that he changed my plate for the new one. Children's meals are hearty and economical. There are so many meal options. There are also a lot of seats. Adequate service staff. Right opposite Munich Station. Open late. The taste is very good. You can try it.

very tasty Neapolitan pizza in a tavern. In my opinion one of the best pizzas in Munich in terms of the dough, the consistency, the taste and the toppings. I never ate there, but ordered or picked up via Uber Eats. Always a pleasure!

Unfortunately that was very disappointing. We ordered two pizzas for delivery and both were completely cold upon arrival. One of the pizzas had mushrooms instead of vegetables and was way too burnt. The amount of cheese substitute on both pizzas was too high.

Pizza dough looks good, but tastes like nothing. Ingredients also of poor quality. A below average Neapolitan pizza, one of the worst I've eaten, definitely not a recommendation.

Thoroughly enjoyed our time at this restaurant, which had a very nice atmosphere. Our waiter Andreas was also brilliant and served us some great traditional Bavarian food. Vegetarian and non-German speaking relatives were also able to enjoy themselves as a result of the large range of foods on offer, translated menus and English speaking waiter. Could not find anything to complain about and would certainly recommend to friends and family.

Needed a place to eat after a long day of sightseeing. We ended up in the Haptbaunhof and found this restaurant nearby. Andreas was our waiter and was super friendly and helpful. I have a gluten allergy (I know, no beer, schnitzel, or pretzels in Munich?!) and he pointed out all the items on the menu that would work for me. In English too! Andreas has a real sense of humor so don’t be surprised when he joshes with you a bit. He made the dinner fun and enjoyable.

Il ristorante infatti ha un insolito connubio di specialità Italiane e Tedesche, entrambe curate. Se ho capito bene il ristorante ha infatti dei pizzaioli Napoletani. Loved it! Overall experience was excellent. The food is sooooo good, typical Bavarian. Kind of expensive but very good.

The food here was nice, and the beer was lovely! Disappointing that the waiter (Andreas) had to be so rude. He was furious with us for ordering off the QR code provided at the table (despite no one telling us we weren’t supposed to do this or why?). It felt like such an overreaction? He delivered our beer & We waited over 30 minutes for our food, and reluctantly I carefully asked him if he knew about the food order too? His reply ‘this is not my business to know, if you don’t communicate with me, I’m not a mind reader’ before walking off, delivering our food 5 minutes later & ignoring us from then on. I see he has some good reviews on here? so I really don’t know what we did that irritated him so much, but it was so rude and so unprofessional to speak to two female customers like that, it ruined our final meal in Munich. The worst service we have experienced after travelling 3 weeks across 7 different European countries.

Food and service were fine but not great or memorable. I thought the prices were a tad on the high end for what we got. The restaurant seemed really busy, almost too busy, but it’s a convenient location and good atmosphere.

The pizzas are amazing!! If you order delivery and get pizza with burrata offcourse it’s going to be all wet and nasty. Order smart.

Everything was great, a gentilman who serves us was very helpful and kind, he helped us to make right choices. Meals are delicious and beer is good. Thanks especially to the greek waiter.

A bit sparsely packed for the price. Taste good
