That was nothing! It wasn't spicy, not spicy, and not tasty. Not again.

Meat is cold, bread is soft, not crispy, sauces are ok but overall not really recommendable

The kebabs were cold, tasteless, and already outdated, as were the fries and pizza. No toilet, not even a cast-iron sink... Simply terrible.

I'm giving this review five stars so this one appears at the top—but be careful, read on! I walked in and asked if they spoke German. He said no and said he only spoke Arabic. I placed my order—he didn't hit me, but he practically blasted me with his stare and threw me out. The staff there are very rude and seem completely unenthusiastic. The food was old and tasted absolutely nothing. This place should be the very last place you visit.

Ordered a portion of 6 chicken nuggets and chips. On their menu it's 5 euro for the 6 nuggets and 3.50 for the chips but he decided to charge me 10 euro. Saw I had 10 euro in my hand and saw I wasn't a local. Didn't even bother questioning it, it's quite an intimidating and shady spot. Higene also questionable. Go else where.

I can only speak for the falafel wrap, but it was fantastic. The wrap was made fresh in-house in a kind of press that also cooks the wrap at the same time. The falafel weren't frozen, but freshly formed and fried. They came with a delicious, slightly minty sauce and a dash of fresh lemon squeezed over them. The best falafel wrap I've had. I was served by a woman, and she was very friendly. I had to leave something positive here after the kebab didn't seem to go down well according to other reviews. The wrap is definitely a recommendation, and for €6 it's completely fine.

Bought two doner kebabs yesterday. One had practically nothing in it for €7.50. The second was full of vegetables and had even less meat. The employee was also extremely rude and wanted to charge me €2.50, and the same thing happened to my friend, who also bought a doner kebab. We have the winner, and this is by far the worst doner kebab in all of Bamberg. The taste was disgusting.

I have been seeing the restaurant open for a while. I came to the restaurant today and ate the 100% crispy meals. May God bless them.

I've never seen such a bad kebab. We wanted four kebabs, and he wanted €37 from us. The kebab tasted very bad; the sauce was a pre-made sauce that barely tasted of anything. I would never go there again in my life; I've never seen anything so bad. I'd even prefer to give it less than one star.

Durum 8/10: Unusual rolling technique, so the Dürüm runs out at the end. Matter of taste: Meat not completely crispy Bread has good taste, but is not crispy either (probably because it is not homemade)

Don't pay attention to the old reviews that were from another store, they still address the old store "Kumpir Queen", which no longer exists there and was really okay The new kebab shop (which has only been around for less than a week since January 2nd) is extremely bad and the kebab doesn't taste good here at all, primarily because of the kebab meat in my opinion, otherwise it was actually quite full. But because the kebab meat is crucial, you unfortunately only get 1 star from me, I ate veal here and in my opinion it is unfortunately the worst veal of all the kebab shops in Bamberg (that I know)

When it was cold we were only allowed to stand outside. The service was nice. Unfortunately there was cartilage and pieces of bone in the kebab meat. That doesn't work at all! Because of the nice service 2 stars instead of 1 star.

By far the worst kebab in Bamberg. Of course, card payment is not possible, you can imagine why.

Re-opening on January 29th, 2025. Okay before, now bad. No meat on it and the scraps that are on it are hard. Cheap bread & ready-made sauce. Price them whatever you want. And unfortunately they don't speak a word of German here. I'll never eat here again. A few meters away there is good Rami kebab. And he also sticks to the prices on the boards.

Just not good. They also price whatever they want. If I would walk a few meters further, there are good kebabs at a fair price where there is also meat on the kebab.

It used to be good, but when the spit is turned late in the evening and three minutes later the shop is locked and the gentleman runs away into the night, it probably hasn't been cleaned. In addition, the sheep's cheese was almost inedible last time, with a dry edge. Maybe it was Parmesan...? Never again.

A small chili cheese kebab box costs €7.50, the large chili cheese kebab box costs €8.50. A chili cheese kebab plate wasn't on the list, so I asked for one and one was made for me. When it came to paying, the boss asked for a €4 surcharge for some sauce and a few jalapenos. Startled, I asked if the surcharge wasn't a bit high and was told "cheese expensive, chili expensive". I mean, a kebab plate isn't four times as big as a large kebab box, which is why I don't understand the price difference. 2-2.50€ would have been totally sufficient for this. So I was there for the first and last time.

We weren't allowed to sit in the restaurant despite heavy rain. Meat kept warm was used. Very impolite.

Very unfriendly, wasn't allowed to sit inside, boss apparently doesn't like it after 9 p.m. But I was only told this after paying and the boss was sitting in the restaurant, where almost everything else was free. Card payment not possible, cash register wasn't actually used when ordering 5 kebabs. Everyone can think for themselves...

If the boss is there, you are not allowed to sit inside.

Schon verwunderlich, dass meine beiden Kinder nachmittags keinen Döner mehr zum Schülerpreis bekommen haben. Sie gehen dann nächstes Mal einfach um die Ecke, da gibts den Schülerpreis wirklich.

Ich habe noch nie so ein schlechtes Falafel-Sandwich gegessen. Die Falafel schmeckten nach nichts, sonst nur Salat und viel Soße. Die Leute müssen wirklich ihr Bestes geben. auch in ihrem Aussehen.

Wow, richtig toller veganer Döner mitten in der Bamberger Inselstadt! Pommes sind Hammer, geile vegane Soße und natürlich freundliche Bedienung dazu. Für jede:n Veganer:in (oder auch nicht) zu empfehlen!!

Einst unter dem Namen "Kumpir Queen" bekannt servierte diese Imbissbude einst die besten Seitan-Dürums der Stadt - Knackiges Gemüse, frisch frittierter Seitan und eine köstliche Paprikaspße ummantelt von einem selbst gemachten Yufkafladen. Fest wie eine gut gedrehte Zigarette. Nach dem Besitzerwechsel kam, was kommen musste: Veränderung. Anfangs gleichbleibende Qualität, doch dann der Schlag ins Gesicht: Dicker Seitan ohne guten Geschmack, eiskaltes Gemüse, die Paprikasoße schmeckt nach nichts. Alles was bleibt ist der selbst gemachte Yufkateig. Bitte liebes Story Restaurant: Remember your Origins

Update: der Besitzer hat gewechselt. Vormalige Rezension daher nur noch bedingt gültig. Der neuer Besitzer hat zwar Speisekarte als auch Rezepte übernommen, ist aber irgendwie nicht mehr dasselbe. Schade...: Vormals: Betreiber sind sehr freundlich. Sehr gute Auswahl an türkischen Speisen, alles auch vegetarisch oder vegan erhältlich. Die Kumpir (Ofenkartoffel) sind klasse. Alle Soßen, Brote und Teige sind selbst gemacht. Das Beste: es schmeckt auch noch super lecker! Meine lieblings Dönerbude! Update: auch nach 2 Jahren gehe ich in der Mittagspause am liebsten hierher zum Essen. Mittlerweile habe ich die Speisekarte komplett durch. Finde Kumpir Queen super!

Sehr schade...offensichtlich hat der Eigentümer gewechselt. Das war vorher mein bevorzugter Döner-Imbiss, nun hat die Qualität der Gerichte und die Art der Zubereitung allerdings stark gelitten. Ich bezweifle, dass die Gerichte tatsächlich "hausgemacht" sind wie ausgewiesen...zumindest ist diese Bezeichnung irreführend.

Obacht Veggis! Sehr guter Laden an sich und ich war mehrmals in der Woche dort. Eigentlich auch sehr vegetarier- und veganerfreundlich. Jetzt hat aber anscheinend der Besitzer gewechselt und es sind Chicken Wings auf der Karte, die in dieselbe Fritöse wandern wie Saitan, Falafel und Pommes. Ich bin mir nicht sicher ob man sich bewusst ist, dass damit die Gerichte für die meisten Veggis raus sind. Bei Gelegenheit werde ich den neuen Herr des Hauses mal darauf ansprechen und weiter berichten. Ansonsten sehr guter Saitandöner und sehr freundliche Leute. To-go in eigener Box anstelle von Alufolie auch unproblematisch möglich.

Der Dürüm mit Seitan schmeckt einfach super!
