A clear restik, I recommend it to everyone... beer, aperolchiki, there is something similar to pizza, but in general normal!

We stopped here for dinner one evening while we were in Bamberg and were pleasantly surprised. We had the mixed antipasti and the daily special pasta which was tortellini with pecorino and spinach (delicious) Service was very friendly and nice.

I've been there four times and can highly recommend it. Great atmosphere, very nice and friendly staff. Food tasty and good quality. Great value for money. You feel comfortable here!

We recently visited this place and were absolutely delighted! The cuisine here is simply excellent - every dish is prepared with love and attention to detail. The pasta was al dente and the sauces were rich and flavorful. Pizza is just a dream, it’s amazing that in the heart of Germany I was able to eat real Italian pizza. The staff also deserves special praise: friendly, welcoming and professional young waiters were always ready to help and recommend dishes. The spirit of life and youth is present here. The atmosphere of the restaurant creates an amazing mood - and makes the evening unforgettable. We will definitely return again to enjoy the excellent cuisine and warm welcome. We recommend it to all lovers of Italian cuisine

We ordered three dishes. Lasagna which was subpar. Ravioli good. But the worst was the carbonara. They weren't creamy at all. When we told the attendant, he didn't even apologize. He just said he wasn't faking it and he can call the cook. Then he mentioned the possibility of free coffee. And still we sat with one empty plate and folded cutlery unnoticed. And the price vs quality absolutely not matching

I recently visited this wonderful pizza restaurant and had an amazing experience. I tried both the pizza and pasta, and they both exceeded my expectations. The pizza crust was thin and crispy, and the ingredients were fresh and delicious. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the sauce was rich and flavorful. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also very pleasant, offering a cozy and comfortable setting. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the service quality was excellent. Incredible! Avoid this place, you are just a money machine there, not a welcome guest!!! Just don't stay there for long, then it will be outrageous! It's already been described here several times. The sound makes the music. Something like this has NEVER happened to me: during the meal you are told - probably by the boss himself??? - that you have been there for far too long, that this is taking far too long and that the table is suddenly reserved! Mind you, without a reserved sign. And after 1/2 hour - I checked the time on Google - you can do anything these days. He suddenly claimed that we had been sitting here for two hours. And even if we did? It was a very hot day, after hours of touring Bamberg, we first had something to drink and after half an hour we ordered something to eat. While we started eating!!! we were barked at, really in such an impudent tone, you could put it another way. For example, if you would please move around, we would help you (and you would also get an espresso or a Prosecco on the house), I would definitely have understood. There were only tables for 4, so there wasn't much going on yet. Only later were additional tables and chairs set up. We had to move all of our equipment to another table ourselves during the meal because we were so perplexed by what was happening to us and how we were being treated. The other guests were already looking. A suddenly very unpleasant situation! So suddenly such a wonderful day was ruined for us! Unbelievable and NEVER there again!!! I won't put up with that anywhere else!

The flavors were very good, the service was fast. As pasta, TAGLIATELLE AL RAGÙ was very good. I liked it so much that I went the next day and tried the pizza. My choice was BUFALINA. Bamberg was a delicious stop on my trip

Nice service and delicious food

Ate there twice and the price/performance ratio doesn't match at all. Mediocre to bad pizza with cheap ingredients is sold here at an exorbitant price. Pizza Salsiccia had a handful of champions and a few pieces of tasteless salsiccia and all for 17€! Anyone who knows Salsiccia from Italy knows what it can taste like and will be disappointed! Experienced the same with the Pinsa. The price here does not match the product delivered and borders on being cheeky. Unfortunately, when we asked about the products used, the service was unable to provide any information.

Small, cozy restaurant. Great service, friendly staff. Got a Prosecco on the house because we were celebrating a birthday as a group. The food was great, large portions. To recommend.

I recommend it - but only if you like disrespectful behavior! Food is very good, price is okay for the location and quality. The service staff were also very accommodating - in contrast to their superiors. We had made a reservation the day before - for 4:30 p.m., with the information that there would be a closed party at 6 p.m., but we could easily eat before the event. No sooner said than done - at 4:40 p.m. the undeserving boss in question arrives and begins to discuss with his staff in a manner in which one searches in vain for decency - they should start setting up for HIS birthday party and should invite the guests (with reservations! !) thrown out. In order to lower the level a little, these demands towards the staff became louder and more intrusive - until, after resisting, they asked whether it would be a problem if we sat outside. How nice it is to have staff to whom you can delegate such tasks if you don't have the courage to do them yourself. When asked about his excellent behavior towards guests, the nice gentleman couldn't help himself, became abusive and complimented us with a polite “Sneak out”. The service staff were more than embarrassed by the whole situation and apologized several times for their boss's behavior. All in all, as the manager of this restaurant in a city like Bamberg where there is more than enough competition, I would think carefully about how I should behave towards guests and perhaps take some etiquette courses - courage and polite manners are taught here! Personally, I wouldn't wish any service worker to have a boss like that and would like to point out again that there is enough competition in Bamberg, which is certainly always looking for nice service employees ;)

The food was great and the staff were more than accommodating. The boss, however, made a fool of himself - threw us out of the restaurant, not with a polite request but in a disrespectful manner. Due to his hopefully sparsely attended birthday party, he threw us out of the restaurant about an hour before it started because the set-up was finally supposed to start - and that during the meal and despite a reservation!!! However, he didn't have the courage to tell us this himself, but rather asked his employees, who were visibly uncomfortable, to do so loudly in the middle of the restaurant: "Just throw them out!"... I feel sorry for all the nice waiters there who have to work for a boss like that - they definitely deserve better!

Food very good, but the way you are treated is more than disappointing! We had to watch as an older lady at the next table was repeatedly and increasingly rudely asked by the head of the Osteria to move to the bar table in the interior to eat so that the table for two could be occupied by two people. The lady was visibly uncomfortable and asked to stay outside in the nice weather. Then the boss actually started mimicking the lady and gossiping about her within earshot. It's a shame about the good food, the quality is very good, but we will no longer support disgusting your guests in the future.

Unfortunately very disappointing treatment of guests! We have been to this restaurant several times and have always been very impressed with the food. Unfortunately, after today's experience, the restaurant won't see us again! When we asked whether the buffalo mozzarella was pasteurized (which it isn't always) because otherwise I'm unfortunately not allowed to eat it and therefore need a reliable statement (otherwise I would of course have simply chosen something else from the menu), we were told answered in a shameless and extremely unfriendly manner: “You have to know for yourself what you can eat. Why are you confusing us with your question?” But that wasn't enough, people continued to talk to us in an unfriendly manner, so we left the restaurant. Dealing with intolerances like this is unacceptable for a restaurant! Regardless of the matter, the way we were spoken to was completely unprofessional and we didn't feel welcome! But how the owner deals with questions from guests is impressively evident from his answers to the reviews here. What a shame!

I spent a few days in Bamberg with my girlfriend and had dinner here in the evening. The small restaurant is decorated in a minimalist and modern way and is reminiscent of a small tavern in Italy. Our food and drinks tasted excellent: fresh and high-quality ingredients and components! :) The service was attentive, friendly and accommodating! I can only recommend this restaurant!

I had arranged to meet my friends there for dinner. The dining room is cozy, the service is friendly and quick. Everyone at the table really enjoyed the pizza. There was a bit of confusion when making the reservation, but everything worked out in the end. Always my pleasure!

Great food: The Pinsa is my highlight there. The service is friendly but not particularly attentive. Sitting outside in the summer is really great, but sitting inside in the winter is a bit cramped and uncomfortable. But I'm really looking forward to summer on Austraße. A win for the street.

Food was very tasty. Service was nice but a bit inattentive. The ambience is a matter of taste. It's a very small shop and you sit close together with other tables. Unfortunately it's not for me.

Never again! Last Friday we visited the Osteria in question to eat two pizzas (Bufalina and Quattro Formaggi). The price-performance ratio of these dishes is catastrophically bad. The Bufalina Mozzarella was difficult to find, even with a magnifying glass. In terms of taste, both pizzas were very ordinary and didn't meet even the lowest standards. The Osteria is located on the busy Austraße in Bamberg. You sit on very uncomfortable wooden chairs in a relatively small guest room that lacks any tasteful decoration. The narrowness of the dining room is rather depressing and the olfactory perceptions from the kitchen directly adjacent spoil your appetite. Acoustics in the guest room in the sense of noise insulation actually do not take place. It was way too loud. A conversation at the table in a normal tone was not possible. The only positive thing was the friendliness of the gentleman who served us that evening.

Unfortunately, I don't recommend the restaurant, especially not on a birthday or something similar. It has been assured several times that the birthday can take place there. Even with the number of guests, nothing was said against it. After I had already received the confirmations from the guests and confirmed the number of guests again, I was called 2 hours later and reproached me that the restaurant was very small and that they would not do any business that evening, even a minus business because they cannot continue to occupy the tables during this time. I was also accused of making special requests, which was definitely not the case. There were several points. My reservation was simply canceled 1 week before my birthday. I found it extremely unreliable and impossible to deal with customers like that! I can't recommend it! This also made the rounds among my guests

Great restaurant, we had very tasty pizza. The atmosphere is pleasant, the waiters are attentive and friendly. The price is a little higher, but that didn't bother us given the quality and taste.

It was just a complete experience. Starting with a bruschetta selection, olives and chips. Everything so far has been super delicious. We continued with very tasty pizzas and at the end a tiramisu to enjoy. I can only recommend!

The food is by no means bad and would definitely be worth a visit every now and then. However, the prices are above average for what is on offer. One could therefore naively assume that a certain exclusivity is offered. Unfortunately, the appearance in detail is not quite as brilliant as the operator might imagine. The service was quick and fluid during our visit, although even by Franconian standards the words were very stingy - you were just there... but nothing more. Due to the size of the dining room, the tables are quite close together - when the restaurant is full, it is correspondingly loud and cramped. Unfortunately the portion size was quite disappointing. If you're a little hungry, a starter is essential so you don't have to get up from the table hungry at the end. However, if you trust the prices on sufficiently large portions, you have already lost the opportunity to have a starter and disappointment will set in. Ultimately, there is always that certain something that makes you feel welcome and justify a slightly higher price. Here, however, the visit felt more like just being a guest who had to bring in good sales for the evening for relatively little on the plate. Today it is difficult to say without further information whether the ingredients were of the best quality and the product was the result of careful craftsmanship. Maybe this justifies the price and the portion size in the end - but this remained hidden from me that evening.

Really a dream of a pizza, fresh ingredients, crispy base, simply wonderful and highly recommended. Service also very friendly and attentive!

Sehr leckere Pizza, wir hatten die Cuatra Gatos und die Pera e Fico, aufmerksamer und netter Service. Im Anhang drei Seiten von der Karte und die aktuelle Monatskarte (2023-09). Die Toiletten sind auch in Ordnung.

Wirklich ein tolles Restaurant mit freundlichem Personal. Es gibt kaum Klassiker auf der Karte, dafür besondere Gerichte mit ganz viel Liebe. Günstig ist es nicht, aber das Geld definitiv wert. Kann ich sehr empfehlen. Im Sommer kann man super draußen sitzen.

Vorsicht! Die Preise im Internet sind Lockpreise! Im Lokal ist es gut 30% teuerer. Pizza kostet statt 11 dann 15€. Im Lokal kleine Tische, gutes, aber überteuertes Essen. Unredliche Geschäftspraxis.

So richtig wohl gefühlt haben wir uns hier nicht. Tische stehen unglaublich eng zusammen. Essen ist nur Durchschnitt. Der Service war zwar sehr freundlich, aber auch sehr überfordert. Einiges wurde schlichtweg vergessen und erst auf weitere Nachfragen serviert. Muss nicht nochmal sein.

Die Pizzen sind großartig. Der Service könnte etwas aufmerksamer sein. Die Tische stehen zu dicht beieinander, was etwas klaustrophobisch ist und nicht allzu viel Privatsphäre bietet.

Die Preise auf der Karte im Internet entsprechen nicht den aktuellen Preisen im Restaurant. Die Diskrepanz lag in unserem Fall bei fast 10 Euro. Leider fehlten auf einer Pizza die Pininienkerne auf der anderen waren zwei Blätter Basilikum. Mich hat es erschrocken, dass eine Pizza mit Mozarella 15€ kostet. Das ist für mich kein stimmiges Preis-Leistungsverhältnis und auch nicht geschmacklich zu rechtfertigen.

Osteria Cuatro Gatos is located in a tiny street in Bamberg with indoor and outdoor seating. The staff is welcoming to humans and their canine companions, despite the name of the place to suggesting otherwise. Great atmosphere to spend a lazy weekend afternoon eating pasta and drinking wine. The tagliatelle al ragú is made with buffalo meat in a hearty yet light tomato sauce, and finished with fresh slices of Parmesan cheese. The strozzapreti con scampi had fresh and perfectly cooked shrimp in a white wine bath with fresh Italian herbs. However, we started the meal with grilled octopus that set the tone for an unforgettable afternoon.

Klein und gemütlich. Sehr gutes Essen und höflicher Service. Wird alles frisch gemacht und schmeckt köstlich. Super Preis Leistung. Auch der Espresso schmeckt sehr gut :). Gerne wieder.

Preis-Leistung passt nicht. Die Portionen sind ziemlich klein. Vorspeise kam als erstes,dann deutlich später das Wasser. Die aperitifs ließen dann noch sehr lange auf sich warten. Die Serviceperson schien mit den 6 kleinen Tischen überfordert. Insgesamt nett eingerichtet, aber alles super eng.

Leider war ich nicht so begeistert von meinem Besuch dort. Die Nudeln waren viel zu hart..al dente wäre ja okay gewesen, aber sie waren einfach ZU hart. Die Portion war sehr klein, für den Preis ist das schon schade. Das Anbiente ist meiner Meinung nach eigentlich ganz gemütlich. Jedoch hatte die Bedienung auch so gewirkt, als wäre sie nicht bester Laune.. sehr schade. Hier besteht auf jeden Fall noch Verbesserungsbedarf, es ist Luft nach oben.

Der Empfang war etwas holprig und nicht sehr einladend. Die Bedienung war oft unbeholfen und unhöflich. Das Essen wurde einmal falsch serviert, was an und für sich nicht schlimm ist. Jedoch kamen die Nudeln beim zweiten Mal mit einer klumpigen, nicht fertigen Soße und zu viel Nudelwasser im Teller an. Mein Freund war bereits schon fertig.

Wir waren mit dem authentischen Speisen- und Getränkeangebot sehr zufrieden. Ich hatte eine Pizza Parmiggiana und eine Freundin von mir die Rote Beete Pasta. Es hat uns wunderbar geschmeckt. Der Kellner war äußerst aufmerksam und freundlich. Gerne komme ich wieder.
