Sehr ansprechendes Ambiente, sehr freundliches Personal. Das Essen ist hervorragend fein abgestimmt und kommt genau zur richtigen Zeit. Mittags bitte immer nach dem Mittagsmenü fragen. Einfach WOW!!! Die Einrichtung ist super modern, aber trotzdem gemütlich und familiär! Das Personal ist immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Essen wird durchschnittlich schnell geliefert, schmeckt aber immer frisch und on Point (für die Boomer: das heißt, es schmeckt wie es schmecken soll). Hab da jetzt schon zwei Geburtstage gefeiert, immer wieder zufrieden. Außerdem gibt es die besten Süßkartoffelpommes der Stadt!!! GaLiGrü

Das Sushi ist in Ordnung, aber aus unserer Sicht nicht preisgerecht. Das Personal ist freundlich, wirkt jedoch teilweise überfordert, wodurch der Service langsam ist. Außerdem könnten die Soja-Saucen-Flaschen am Tisch eine gründliche Reinigung vertragen, da sie teilweise unappetitlich aussehen. Insgesamt hat uns der Besuch enttäuscht – in Bamberg gibt es unserer Meinung nach bessere Sushi-Restaurants.

Sehr gutes und leckeres Essen zum angemessen Preis. Ambiente ist schön, ruhig und gut zum Unterhalten. Der Service könnte etwas aufmerksamer sein und häufiger nachfragen ob man noch etwas braucht. Ansonsten alles super und tipptopp! Schöner Laden wir kommen gerne immer wieder.

Sushi sieht ansprechend aus und schmeckt gut. Mittagsmenü gibt es, allerdings hat man uns weder Suppe noch Espresso angeboten, so wie es eigentlich auf der Karte steht. Haben dann auch vergessen es zu reklamieren.

Essen schmeckt sehr gut. Lieber am Straßenrand als auf dem Parkplatz parken.

Wir hatten diverses Sushi zum mitnehmen bestellt und dort gewartet. Die Box zum mitnehmen sah super schön aus. Das Sushi war lecker. Hinter dem Restaurant befindet sich eine Art Spielplatz. Wenn es im Sommer draußen Tische gibt testen wir das Dozo mit den Kids.

Wir waren mit die Ersten um 17:30 Uhr und bekamen unser Essen auf Verlangen, nachdem alle die nach uns kamen, ihr Essen schon hatten. Unser Essen (Ente) war leider kalt und die Soße konnte man gar nicht essen, so unglaublich salzig. Ich bin so enttäuscht. Wo ich das letzte mal da gegessen hatte, war es wirklich gut. Mein Besuch wird da sicher nicht mehr Essen.

Habe takeout bestellt um 16 Uhr, Abholung auf 18:00. Auftragsbestätigung um 18:00 ok. Abholbestätigung kam um 16:40. Habe geantwortet , dass Bestellung auf 18:00 war und ich die Ware frisch erwarte. Abgeholt habe ich die Bestellung um 18:20 und es war nicht frisch! Sushi sah abgestanden aus, Edamame war überkocht leider. Fand ich sehr enttäuschend. Maki mit Lachs machen den Eindruck dass hierfür Reste verwendet werden

Das Essen war sehr lecker. Es gibt eine gute Auswahl an verschiedenen Gerichten. Die selbstgemachten Drinks und das Sushi kann ich nur empfehlen.

Ich war dort letztens mit Freunden dort essen und muss sagen es hat sehr lecker geschmeckt. Der Service war nett und das Ambiente war auch sehr angenehm 😌. Werde auf jeden Fall wieder kommen

Haben heute 2 stunden auf unser essen gewartet, dass essen kam nicht zusammen sondern in einem abstand von einer halben stunde und es kam nichtmal alles, 1 essen hat gefehlt. Während den gesamten 2 stunden wurde nicht einmal gefragt ob wir noch etwas trinken wollen und nicht einmal gesagt zumindest, dass es einem leid tut dass da essen noch nicht da ist. Haben 10% rabatt bekommen beim zahlen aber dass ist viel zu wenig für den service. Würde gerne 0 sterne geben

Essen gut aber..........Ich habe am 17:20 Uhr für 19 Uhr bestellt, war um 19 Uhr pünktlich da, habe das Essen aber erst um 20:20 Uhr erhalten. Diese extrem lange Wartezeit ist wirklich inakzeptabel. Ich bin sehr enttäuscht und werde erst einmal nicht mehr vorbeischauen.

Katastrophale Abwicklung bei Abholung.. Einiges hat nachweislich gefehlt und wir mussten vor Ort nochmal 20 Minuten warten trotz frühzeitiger telefonischer Vorbestellung. Dann wurde auf Videoauswertungen verwiesen und "sei" alles vollständig gewesen. Somit nicht zu empfehlen WENN NUR dort Essen!

Man fühlt sich hier wirklich sofort wohl. Das Restaurant ist sehr schön eingerichtet, und man merkt, dass sich die Inhaber viele Gedanken gemacht und viel Herzblut hineingesteckt haben. Die Atmosphäre ist entspannt und angenehm, genau so, dass man gerne sitzen bleibt. Das Essen hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt und kam schnell an den Tisch. Der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich den Pina-Colada-Mocktail. Ich gehe viel essen und habe diesen Mocktail schon an vielen Orten probiert, aber so einen guten hatte ich wirklich schon lange nicht mehr. Wenn ihr Pina Colada mögt, solltet ihr ihn dort unbedingt bestellen – absolute Empfehlung!!🤩

Das Essen war vorzüglich und qualitativ hochwertig und fein zubereitet. Wir kommen wieder!

Positiv finde ich dass man online seine Bestellung abgegeben kann und nicht anrufen muss. Sushi war gut. Die Nummer 440 “grilled salmon bowl” kam leider dann mit frittiertem Lachs! Wenn ich gegrillt bestelle, möchte ich auch gegrillt. Da ich frittiertes Essen nicht vertrage, ging das sofort in den Müll. Schade! Evtl muss man an der Übersetzung etwas arbeiten. Alles andere war okay. Beim abholen freundlich.

The fact that there are only 3 parking spaces is the location's fault. Top facilities, everything is clean and tidy and the waiting time from ordering to eating is in a very good range.

I was there with a friend six months ago and it was almost perfect, but we also had a place by the heater, so we wanted to come back. So yesterday we were there again and got a place in the middle of the room, with no heating and full of an open door. And lo and behold, the service was pretty bad: when we commented that it was drafting and we were cold, we were only told that we knew that a door was open, but it wasn't closed. The food was, like last time, very tasty and the waiting time for it was reasonable.

Food good. Unfortunately, the advertised softshell crab was surimi. I see it as a no go. Very disappointing. Service good at the beginning. Then you had to wait forever. 3 times that you want to pay.

I can only recommend if someone likes Japanese cuisine👌👌

Great restaurant. Was there for the first time a few days ago and would definitely come again. Super tasty selection of everything you could wish for. I had the chicken bowl, which I highly recommend! The starter with green asparagus was also absolutely delicious.

Apart from the fact that we had to wait almost 30 minutes for the bill (guests who asked for the bill after us were sooner in line), it was a lovely evening.

The nice thing is that you can order online here; if you pick up your order yourself, you save another 10%. It's a bit chaotic and confusing on site. The orders are usually not ready at the specified time and the payment process is quite confusing. The food is tasty and good.

3.5 *, outdoor area/terrace is not attractive and a bit unkempt. Interior looks good. My main course of chicken breast with sesame/asparagus was very good. The rest of the group had the Little Dozo...some good and some okay. The service was nice, but unfortunately you didn't see anyone after the main course and you had to go inside to order yourself. This was repeated when paying...even though the restaurant was occupied with very few tables. Don't want to be there with a full house.

The food and the location are really great! However, the service on site was miserable... we were there for two hours and, despite empty glasses, we weren't asked once if we would like to order anything else. After several attempts, we were finally able to call someone over to order something else. This was eventually forgotten, so we went back to the counter ourselves to repeat the order. We also received part of the order incorrectly... if the service improves, we'll be happy to come back. Unfortunately, you're more annoyed than you can enjoy the good food.

We had received a voucher for the Dōzo restaurant, so we went there for the first time today. Parking is possible right in front of the door and the restaurant's interior is very stylish. You can notice the Japanese style without it seeming kitschy. We were immediately assigned a free seat and the card was taken straight to the table. Drinks and food were taken and the drinks were immediately at the table. Then came the starter, very tasty and beautifully presented. The main course, a sushi platter, came shortly afterwards and what can I say, I don't know that I've ever had better sushi. Tastes super delicious, superbly prepared, amazing. An all-round successful evening in a great restaurant, the cooking here is really made with love. We will come back in any case. Keep it up.

Modern and stylishly furnished, very friendly service, chopsticks are on the table (fork and knife can also be brought upon request), the food was very tasty. I can't answer whether draft beer is served (I wasn't paying attention), but from the taste, I would say it was bottled beer. Bean sprouts as a greeting from the house. The bowls are big enough including rice under the vegetables (it wasn't on the menu). Warning: For those who don't want or can't tolerate glutamate: I'm not sure if it's used. (if I know for sure, I will change the recession accordingly.)

I was there with my girlfriend, as it looked we were the first, so the order came very quickly, as did our food, we had 2 starters, 2 main courses and 1 sushi mix and 2 desserts, everything was great, no defects, every dish had chilly spices at the table given the perfect sharpness. Sushi was fresh and high quality, just as I want it. Starter was super fried Huhhhhhhn with a chilli sauce. The main course was the duck, especially the baked mushrooms. Kiss goes to the kitchen. Dessert was great. Black rice with coconut milk was great. Never eaten it like that before but it was really great to sum up CONCLUSION: Overall everything was great, the only thing today was that there were several groups of women in the restaurant who were talking very loudly and because of the large and open room they could be heard everywhere. The place was clean and very nice to look at

We had an appointment here for a business lunch. We each had sushi and I had the squid balls for starters and giant prawns for the main course. Rounded off with the aftertaste, black rice with mango. The food was perfect but unfortunately it was in the K Quite loud locally. The toilets are fine and clean. The waiters were very friendly despite their language barrier. Recommended for everyone!

Five of us ate there on a Friday evening and the place was half full. As a starter we ordered Gyoza and Sushi Osaka for everyone. The gyoza found our table, but unfortunately the sushi didn't... However, it found our bill. We waited over an hour for the main courses and one dish was brought to the table incorrectly three times. The food itself is quite tasty, but the portions are quite small compared to the price. However, the service always tried to satisfy us.

Good sushi, but waited 45 minutes for drinks and food to be taken. Another 15 minutes until the drinks arrived. At 10 p.m. we paid at the Dresen because no one came for 30 minutes even though there was nothing going on

I was there spontaneously today with my little meal. I don't even know where to start... I've always been looking for a place like this! The sushi was so delicious, the service was so nice and quick. The restaurant itself is very nicely decorated, I felt really comfortable. We will come back soon 😍 P.S We live a little further away and even the one hour drive is definitely worth it!

We wanted to try out a new restaurant again and discovered the Japanese sushi restaurant Dozo. We reserved a table by phone and set off the following day. We were warmly welcomed and ordered our drinks. Among the good selection, we chose an apple tea and a Berry Lovers mocktail, both of which were very tasty and there wasn't too much ice in the mocktail. There was also a refreshing sprout salad to whet your appetite. After the starters (spring rolls and sushi Kyoto) we ordered our main courses, which came to the table fresh, hot and beautifully presented. The salmon and vegetables were crispy, crunchy and the teriyaki sauce was very tasty. The Green Dozo Bowl was also very successful and also had warm components. The portion sizes were normal. The desire for dessert was very present and we ordered again. The creme brulee and green tea ice cream were small but very tasty. Unfortunately, one star is deducted from the service because the ice cream unfortunately took a while, but that can happen. We still had a very nice and delicious evening and will be happy to come back. Price/performance is completely okay given the quality and freshness of the dishes.

An absolute experience for every lover of Japanese cuisine. The menu is very extensive with many creative, authentic dishes. No matter whether sushi, fried, fried, .... The ambience matches the creative yet authentic menu; it has something modern Japanese about it. Everything is nice to look at. In addition, the dishes are presented very lovingly. Plus point: the sushi is prepared in the dining room. The service was also friendly. In addition, the price-performance ratio was really good: I had a warm starter, sushi in the main course and a dessert + large drink and paid around €23. For the quality it was more than adequate. If you like Asian cuisine you should definitely try it, I was absolutely thrilled.

We wait until the starters have been served and then the main course is served, just as it should be in a restaurant. The restaurant is beautifully decorated both inside and out. The only thing is that it is a bit cold in winter.

BITBURGER - I think that's a no go in a beer town like Bamberg!!! All in all, still a highly recommended experience!

We have been coming or ordering from Dozo regularly since it opened. Unfortunately I was so disappointed this time that we won't eat there again. I placed my order for pickup at 5:50 p.m. (30 minutes to pick up). When we arrived at 6:22 p.m., unfortunately nothing was ready. Since that can really happen, I wasn't upset at first. I went to the door asking for an espresso because I wanted to bridge the waiting time with a phone call. When I asked about the status of things 25 minutes later (yes, the espresso was also forgotten), I was told the food would be ready soon. Another 15 minutes passed until it finally became too much for me. I went in, said goodbye and said I didn't need the food anymore. The lady's reaction was unacceptable, no apology, just the answer: I was on the phone anyway. Finally I said, it's disrespectful to my time and person and I'm just making a phone call to fill my waiting time. Thanks but not like that!
