Very friendly. Very nice. Nice roof terrace. Good menu. Tasty food.

The food was good so far, but there are better sushi shops in Bamberg. We were there for about 2 hours and waited an hour for the sushi. Guests at 3 other tables arrived after us and ate earlier. We were told about the service that we would like to order. But they were very friendly to us. About 1/4 of the store was occupied. My starter was delivered incorrectly (probably a mishearing: 7b instead of 7d), but was still tasty. The food came after 45 minutes and only after we asked if we had been forgotten. But then within 3-4 minutes. At the end we were offered an espresso on the house. Apparently they noticed that things weren't going well for us. Maybe we were just unlucky... Overall, we wouldn't recommend the store

When I ate in this restaurant with my colleagues we were very satisfied. The sushi was also very good and I don't normally like sushi. Highly recommended and very good.

The food was served two hours after we placed the order, even though we made reservations a week in advance. When we went to pay we were told it would take another 10-15 minutes. After 20 minutes of waiting, we asked again. We were sent downstairs from the first floor because payment was only possible on the ground floor. When we arrived at the bottom, we were sent back up because the reception of the card payment machine downstairs was poor. At the top we should wait another 5 minutes. After a total of 30 minutes of waiting, we were able to leave the store because we were not able to pay beforehand. It's a shame and extremely bad service.

Great food. The staff is very nice. The terrace in summer is super pleasant.

Unfortunately, since the business was handed over, the service has left a lot to be desired. Waiting time for food over 1 ¼ hours. Only the starter came within this time (2 fried shrimp...). Other guests who arrived later got their food and some of them left before we got our main course when we asked. The taste of the food is okay, but it doesn't stand out from the other sushi restaurants. In our opinion, there were far too few staff. It's a shame, that was our last visit here.

There were 4 of us and we had to wait at least 20 minutes before we could order, we waited another 45 minutes for our food and mum didn't get the duck until an hour later. I got the impression that they primarily serve regular visitors of the establishment, since the people at the tables knew each other and their orders arrived much faster. Also, regarding the next order, it was very annoying to hear "the food will be ready in 10" minutes, which was an absolute lie - it didn't come after 25, after only being served drinks (IN 25 MINUTES), we also waited forever for those. It was necessary to constantly remind the waiter, even about drinks, because we were simply ignored. Two hours later, we left the establishment half-starved and disappointed, the evening was ruined. I definitely do not recommend it

Oversized store and completely empty. That should have been a warning to me! Unfortunately I was hungry and stayed there. Miso soup tiny and almost cold, squid balls with disgusting consistency, disgusting taste, old, bad ingredients, everything has a strange aftertaste. There was a horrible mayonnaise sauce on the balls. Sushi was mediocre, some tasted old, everything had a strange aftertaste. Price/performance is not right. Only the green tea was good. Worst of all, the tempura was fried in old fat. This borders on physical harm. I've never had such an abysmally bad tempura. If you want to know how delicious tempura can taste, go to Mikuni in Frankfurt, my favorite restaurant for 30 years. Today, a day after that meal at ichi-san, I'm still feeling bad. Conclusion: Better go somewhere else!

Danger! Enter at your own risk! Unfortunately, a torturous experience: first a tiny miso soup, already almost cold, with fried octopus balls with mayonnaise on top of a strange consistency like a slimy cream puff, who would like that? Our mixed sushi, not all bad, but especially not remotely good if you know what real sushi tastes like, made by a sushi master who has had seven years of training in Japan. The surprise of this alleged sushi master was primarily a cost-cutting measure. Cheapest bite, most of it not exactly fresh, the old fatty egg is over-sweetened, Maguro has a bitter aftertaste. To break the habit! But the thing that won us over was the burnt tempura, which was dripping with old fat and was simply inedible. Price: over 70.- for two people. To be honest, I would have given the sum voluntarily if I had been spared from feeding pigs.

A very nice restaurant on the way to the city center in Bamberg. Not only is there a good lunch menu here, but it is also cozy here in the evenings. The sushi is very tasty and the service is quick and friendly. We would love to go here again.

The sushi for two people was so rich that we had to pack some. Very tasty combination from the kitchen and recommended. There is currently a promotion with a discount for people who collect it themselves ;)

Excellent. Really great Japanese. Ambiance was clean, tidy and clean. However, the food was really exceptionally good. The restaurant is very good and comfortable. The food is top quality and so is the service. At the end of the order we were offered coffee as a compliment.

I went there with my best friend to have some great sushi 🍣 we really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere was also lovely! The interior was really well decorated. Would highly recommend it for good sushi, if you love sushi and are in Bamberg this is the place to go.

Introduced me to Japanese food. I never thought in my life that it could taste so delicious. I've been there regularly since then, even during my lunch break. Lunch menu also available to take away... Update 2024: still a pleasure years later. Since then I haven't been able to enjoy Chinese buffets anymore. This is a different league!

Always delicious! The ichi-san offers very good sushi and has a beautiful roof terrace with a view over the roofs of Bamberg. The restaurant itself is also stylishly decorated. The service is very friendly and attentive.

The food here is really extremely good, not only in terms of taste but also in terms of cost, with around €30 for a starter, main course, sushi and dessert. The service is super fast and friendly and the atmosphere, especially upstairs, is very pleasant, relaxing and inviting.

The best Restaurant for any Asian dish I've ever been to. The food is incredibly tasty and freshly Hand-made. The Chicken fell apart just by picking it up and the service is extremely friendly.

Real Japanese cuisine, very tasty sushi and hot dishes! The quality of the fish is outstanding. As an Asian and a connoisseur of Japan, I claim that the best sushi in the Bamberg area is available here, and my Japanese friends also rave about ichi-san. In summer you can find a cozy place on the terrace. If you like real sushi, you can't avoid Ichi-san, absolutely recommended. Reservations by telephone are recommended. There is usually a parking space in front of the door, otherwise there is a parking garage directly opposite.

I had ramen, which was an absolute disgrace. It was a vegetable broth with a few noodles and the toppings seemed to be canned vegetables. We also waited 30 minutes for drinks and 45 minutes to pay, even after asking several times (especially if you really want to leave because you were looking forward to great food and are afraid of being abusive because you always have the feeling of the soup in the bag back of the head.) This only after asking several times. Legally you could even have just left. I just felt ripped off the whole time.

Fancy Japanese? ... Then off to Ichi-san. We made a reservation by phone the day before and got a table without any problems. We parked directly opposite in the parking garage and after crossing the street we were right in front of the door. After a warm welcome we were shown to the table and started with a nice warm "sake" wine. This was followed by a nice soup, sushi, dumplings, fried vegetables and a delicious matcha ice cream for dessert. All dishes were delicious, of very high quality and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was good and the ambience is simple and elegant. We felt comfortable. The staff took good care of us, but we had to wait a little longer that day. But it wasn't a problem for us for a cozy evening without time pressure. There was a lot going on and so the timing was still okay🤷. Conclusion: Ichi-san is an upscale Japanese restaurant where you can enjoy good, high quality food in a nice atmosphere at a fair price. Always happy 👍

The food is sweet and salty Sushi is of medium freshness. I waited over 40 minutes for my food after ordering.

Really absolutely recommended. Hospitality is very important here, we never had to wait long for our food and were always completely thrilled with the food. Price-performance ratio is absolutely fine. The waiters are so nice that they even bought me a round for my birthday. Parking options are difficult without additional costs, you can sometimes get a parking space directly in front of Ichi San, otherwise in the underground car park opposite.

The food tasted and looked good, but the portion was rather small. There is very little vegetarian choice. We came between the years and the house was full - despite all understanding, it was really more than borderline to wait 1.5 hours for our food. Especially since the neighboring table in front of us received their food, even though the couple came after us. A dish that was delivered was also wrong. In 2.5 hours, no waitress ever came and asked if we wanted something more to drink. A pity!

Food for reasonable price with average quality, nothing outstanding. Service is extremely slow... A joke comes to me: "Guy sits in the bar, checking his phone, then thinks: -Why are these people staying here for so long and looking at me so judging? ... Oops, I'm the waiter..."

Wir hatten reserviert. Das Essen war wirklich lecker und wurde zügig serviert. Leider war nur eine Flasche Weißburgunder da, die wir zu fünft schnell leer hatten. Der Service war freundlich und nicht aufdringlich. Es war ein schöner Abend.

Das Restaurant hätte in allem fünf Sterne verdient, wenn wir nicht über eine Stunde auf unser Essen hätten warten müssen. Anscheinend gab es bei unserem Restaurantbesuch einen Gerätefehler, wodurch es zu Chaos und Verspätung bei den Bestellungen kam. Sollte es beim nächsten Besuch reibungsloser laufen verdient sich das Restaurant damit eine fünf Sterne Bewertung.

Önünden geçerken bir sürü ödül aldığını ve yüksek puanlı olduğunu görünce sushi sever olarak denemek istedim. Bunca ödül almış bir yerin İngilizce menüsünün olmaması çok tuhaf, maalesef bu sebeple büyük bir karışıklık yaşadık. Çalışanlar da İngilizce bilmiyor. Maalesef ben de Almanca bilmiyorum! Karışık menülerinden seçtik. Hiçbirinin içeriği belirtilmemiş. Mesela diyor ki 4 tane nigiri, 6’lı ura maki vs. Haliyle bunları kendimiz seçip oluşturuyoruz diye düşündük ve sipariş verdik. Gelenleri görünce yanlış getirdi sandım. Meğerse o menüleri sushi ustaları kendisi belirliyormuş? Tabii bu menüde küçük bir şekilde üst kısımda ve ALMANCA yazıyor. O cümledeki hiçbir kelimeyi anlamıyorum haklı olarak? Uzun uğraşlar ve anlaşamamalar sonucu (çünkü siparişi alan kişi İngilizce anlamıyor, ama Almanca cevap veriyor ve ben de onu anlamıyorum) sonunda iptal etmeyi kabul etti ama tabii ki uygun fiyatlı olanı iptal ettiler. 10€ fazla ödemek zorunda kaldık. Bana hala o üstteki küçük yazıyı gösteriyor. Almanca bilsem zaten konuşurum, o cümleyi anlayamayacağım aşikar. Önceden İngilizce bilen birinin(!) uyarmasını beklerdim. Sushiler de standarttı, onca ödül ve yorumu anlamak mümkün değil. Sonuç olarak büyük bir hayal kırıklığı ve kızgınlıkla ayrıldık. Ve cebimizde daha az parayla :) (Garsonun belirttiğinden daha yüksek bir hesap ödedik, bu yüzden maalesef bahşiş bırakmadık) 2 puanı da çorbaya verdim, baya lezzetliydi :)

Ausgezeichnet gespeist, beste Empfehlung

Sowohl das Mittagsangebot als auch zum schick Abendessen super geeignet. Es kann sogar bei Glutenunverträglichkeit beraten werden. Sogar mit entsprechender Soyasoße. Wirklich qualitativ hochwertiges Sushi.

Mussten gleich zu Beginn mehrfach fragen, ob wir denn bestellen könnten und wurden jedes Mal vertröstet. Das Essen dauerte extrem lange und kam sehr zeitversetzt. Nach 1 1/4 Stunden kam die erste Vorspeise, alle anderen noch später. Außerdem kamen mehrfach falsche Bestellungen oder Getränke wurden einfach vergessen. Hauptzutaten bei Gerichten wurden einfach weggelassen ohne etwas zu sagen. Auf der Rechnung standen am Ende Sachen, die wir weder bestellt noch bekommen haben. Das Essen war okay, aber nichts besonderes. Dafür lohnt sich die lange Wartezeit nicht. Vor allem da vom Service nie eine Entschuldigung oder kurze Erklärung für das Durcheinander kam.

Leider ist das Sushi sehr klein geworden. Die Portionen sind gefühlt halb so groß wie vor zwei Jahren. Haben zu 20% Aktion bestellt. Enttäuschend. Essen war sehr gut und Bedienung war freundlich.

Dieses Sushi Restaurant hat offenbar von einer Jury seit mehreren Jahren die Bewertung des besten Sushi Restaurants in Bamberg bekommen. Wir sind auf sehr freundliches Personal getroffen und haben ein wirklich gutes Essen in ordentlicher Darbietung bekommen. Das Essen war sehr schmackhaft und die Zutaten schienen auch sehr frisch, nur die als Hauptgerichte beschriebenen Speisen sind in ihrer Portionierung eher mittelmäßig und die Wartezeit waren gute 45 Minuten. (Allerdings auch in der Hauptzeit am Abend.) Die Tische im Eingangsbereich wirkten auf mich deutlich gemütlicher als im 2. Geschoss. Hier stehen die Tische dicht an dicht, fast wie in einer Kantine.

Nettes japanisches Restaurant mit richtigem japanischem Essen, abseits des ganzem Asia-Fusion was einem wo anders als japanisch verkauft wird. Das Restaurant ist schön gestaltet, das Personal ist nett und es gibt eine große Terrasse. Die Preise sind dabei voll okay. Das Essen ist leider nur gut und nicht herausragend, weswegen es Punktabzug gibt. Außerdem sind die Toiletten nicht im besten Zustand.

Really fast service and great sushi anf main course!

Direkt gegenüber des Best Western Inn Hotels befindet sich das ichi-san. Somit kurzer Weg nach meinem Eintreffen in Bamberg für die genußvollen Momente. In typisch japanischer Atmosphäre genoss ich Sushi und Sashimi. Dazu habe es Weißwein. Ein sehr gelungener Abend mit meinen Kollegen. Vielen Dank.

Quería algo diferente para cenar en Bamberg y decidí probar este lugar. Me encantó! La atención fue buena y amable, además de un tiempo de espera acorde al pedido. La comida muy rica, buena temperatura y presentación y una mezcla de sabores extraordinarios. Tomé una copa de vino y estaba igualmente a buena temperatura. El precio es correcto con las cantidades y calidad de los alimentos. Buena opción para comer sushi en Bamberg. Regresaría.

Wir waren gestern Abend zu viert dort essen. War ein toller Abend mit sehr sehr gutem Essen. Wir hatten alle eine Vorspeisen und ein Hauptgericht. Sind alle satt geworden. Preislich im mittleren Bereich. Wenn man mehr Sushi nimmt kann es etwas teurer werden, aber ist jeden Cent wert.🤤 Das Personal ist auch sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Toiletten und auch der restliche Bereich ist sauber und gepflegt. Parkplätze wenn man Glück hat bekommt man direkt vor der Tür. Behinderten Parkplätze sind keine Vorhanden. Der Laden ist NICHT Barrierefrei.

Zur Straße hin klein aussehendes Restaurant, welches nach hinten ausreichend Plätze bietet, inklusive einer großen, teilweise überdachten Terrasse in der ersten Etage. Allerdings führt eine Treppe hinauf. Sehr freundliches Personal, das auch weiß, was glutenfreie Speisen sind (es gibt auch glutenfreie Sojasauce). Das Essen ist sehr gut und die Portionen sind ausreichend groß. Wenige Parkplätze vor dem Restaurant, jedoch befindet sich direkt gegenüber ein öffentliches Parkhaus.

Gutes Essen und schöne Terrasse zum drausen sitzen. Die Karte hat eine schöne Auswahl. Nicht zu viel und nicht zu wenig. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
