Stern Grill in Rostock

Hello! We're from Kyrgyzstan. Today we ate a doner kebab – it was absolutely delicious! The tea was wonderful too. We loved everything; the taste was truly special. We drove for four whole hours just to eat doner kebab here – and it was totally worth it! 🥰😍😍😍😍😘👍

That was the best doner kebab I've ever had, and I even got it bought for free by a young man! My highest recommendation.

Delicious doner kebab! The staff is super nice and friendly. If you're lucky, you might even get a complimentary tea.

Here's my verdict on the doner kebab: too little meat and far too much salad. The bread wasn't crispy and was soggy on the bottom. Friends and acquaintances are more important than walk-up customers. The ambiance is a bit dated. The price-performance ratio is completely off.

The most amazing doner experience I've had in ages! They have a fantastic selection of beers, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure we were happy with our order, even with our limited German skills.

As an expat, I was thinking a lot about where to eat when I went there, but there was no need to worry, I caught the flavors of Türkiye at Stern Grill, it was a truly amazing experience.

With its delicious taste, quality and friendly staff, it is the best restaurant in the region in this regard. If you happen to pass by this place, I definitely recommend you to visit.

While traveling from Sweden to Hamburg, we looked for a good döner spot after getting off the ferry and found this place on google. The staff was very welcoming and friendly, and the döner tasted amazing. It was a great start to our trip. Looking forward to coming back!

Came here spontaneously and found it very good. Tzatziki is super tasty and creamy, you can hardly find it anymore! If we are around here it is a must 😁

I've already eaten here twice and will eat here again next week. (I'm in Rostock for training) The staff were very friendly. The food was simply great. I had a kebab plate that was quite large and a large selection of salads and the like. After the delicious plate, there was a delicious Turkish tea on the house. The shop doesn't look like it from the outside but we can only recommend it :)! Always my pleasure.

We recently moved to Rostock and have only been disappointed so far. That has changed at the Stern Grill, the meat is cut fresh every time (not like at others, where it's all pre-cut and lying around for ages), the meat is good, nicely grilled, and the price is also okay. Please keep it that way, I will definitely come back :)

It's a place where I can eat clean and delicious food in Rostock and even Germany. The fact that the doner kebab has a halal certificate also made me choose this place.

Very good food and nice staff. We ordered lamb soup and döner. The meat was tender and flavorful. Döner was a lot and if it is noticeable that the ingredients are of high quality. Plenty of fresh and varied salad. The restaurant is located near the port, which makes it an attractive place for us who are going to go by ferry. Warm recommendations!

We came here from Baden-Württemberg for vacation. Had a kebab here on our first day and our last day. Absolute 10/10 experience. Doner kebab is huge for the price, and after a little conversation we got drinks on the house. The man of honor who runs the place has already won my heart. In addition, the sauces are absolute bombs, the kebab was juicy and good down to the last crumb. We will come back next year 🤝🫡.

Today I bought a kebab in another shop for the first time after 4 years in Rostock (because the cow kebab in the stern kebab was over) and I really regret that I bought the kebab in another shop. After this experience, I can say that there is no better kebab restaurant in Rostock than stern doner. The staff is very nice, helpful and friendly, the kebab is always very tasty and fresh and not overcooked. I can't say anything bad about them except that you shouldn't go anywhere else and don't waste your money, just go to stern döner, they really have the best kebab.

I was on the way back from Darss to Berlin and really wanted something hearty and tasty with meat etc. I read the good review of Stern Grill and then bought a whole grilled chicken (€14) to take away. I have never eaten such delicious chicken! Crispy on the outside and the meat is nice and juicy. The crispy skin was fantastically seasoned and also salty, just as it should be! Cool!! Thank you for this experience!
