Mister Kebap in Rostock

I've been eating at this kebab shop since 2010, and it was always the best kebab in Rostock and all of Germany! I was thrilled, but since the change in staff (about four months ago), the taste and preparation have deteriorated from 10/10 to 2/10! The staff urgently needs to be replaced! The people who used to be so passionate about it should come back! They were incredibly dedicated from the very beginning.

The doner kebab was actually quite good. Not many people like a doner with lots of sauce, but I do. Unfortunately, the sauce was a bit thin, so the bread got soggy very quickly. The size of the doner was also a bit small for the price, but I've had small doners that weren't so good. The meat was tasty, but again, there was a bit too little of it. I think that's the case everywhere these days, though—there's usually not enough meat. The vegetables were fresh, and there was nothing to complain about there. The server was okay, but unfortunately, he prepared the doners rather unenthusiastically; it could just have been an off day. The shop itself was like any other doner shop, with small tables and two slot machines, which I think could easily be removed, as they're more of a nuisance than anything else. Conclusion: A small, tasty doner kebab that could perhaps be a bit bigger.

I would highly recommend this döner kebab.

I miss that kebab shop exactly. The best garlic sauce ever and delicious meat. The kebab was always amazing. I've been living in South America for almost eight years now, and I can't stop thinking about it.

The sauce was so drastically diluted that it was barely palatable! Today is October 19, 2025, and I've been a regular customer since the restaurant opened several years ago! The two people on shift tonight should be sent home immediately and forever!

I ordered a chicken doner kebab with herb sauce. The chicken triggered my depression; it was still slightly pink in one spot. I'd rather forget the taste. The sauce was definitely from Knorr, so it wasn't homemade, which is a real shame. It was obvious from the look, consistency, and taste. I was also disappointed by the quantity; I ate almost everything from the snack bar to the tram stop. You can do better elsewhere. At least the salad was tasty. Conclusion: The doner kebab for people with no pretensions. I personally couldn't understand the average rating of 4 stars.

I haven't had such a bad kebab in a long time; everything tastes soggy. I'd call it mush in the kebab bread.

So I bought a kebab today 1. Customer service has been awful, at least since the new staff arrived, someone is playing on their mobile even though it's working hours. 2. The kebab shop isn't as busy as it used to be, the whole atmosphere has deteriorated considerably and what I can't stand and shouldn't put up with is when you're very nice and friendly and then you're served so rudely. The way he prepared the kebab, so listlessly, just slapping everything on and there was very little left in it and I still had to pay €7 even though the kebab was almost empty, no thanks. So you have two fewer customers from today. And a tip for the bosses: choose your people carefully and give them a lesson on how to serve customers in a friendly manner. And if you don't like or like the job of a kebab seller then find another job because what I experienced today is completely unacceptable and the young man is out of place.

A disastrous kebab. I ate a fried doner kebab with undercooked fries. The meat was also absolutely disgusting. They didn't offer any sauce. The next day, I immediately went to the bathroom. Not recommended!

Employees very nice. Long opening hours are good But the kebab is catastrophically bad, the meat is the cheapest minced semolina mixture with disgusting spices and tastes really bad, they probably buy the cheapest one for €5 per kilo. Sometimes there are unwanted pieces of fat in the meat and that's why I've been feeling sick ever since. I own a kebab shop myself and you really shouldn't be stingy when it comes to meat and sell such rubbish. Salad and sauce were ok

Absolute rubbish, how can you give something like this 4 stars? The meat isn't even cooked through the sauces. Absolute rubbish. As a Düsseldorfer, I've never eaten such a bad kebab in Rostock. Simply disgusting. Ashamed of yourselves, as shop owners, have you ever tried your kebab yourself? Simply awful. €8 for a kebab.

If it were possible I would give half a star. The Döner Dürüm was cold, tasteless and just bad. Absolutely not recommended – waste of money!

yeah, what can I say, the salesman has never smiled, I swear to you, he is so focused on completing his working day energy efficiently that he has diverted the power from his face into his arms. But joking aside, the kebab tastes good, it's not the best but that's not a bad thing, the opening times speak for themselves, I've often gone there hard late and got a meat whip, then there's nothing better. I just don't particularly like the white cabbage, it's slightly sour, but that has nothing to do with the freshness. All in all, I will definitely stop by again. LG

Ich habe schon einige Döner gegessen aber der war bisher der schlechteste! Viel zu viel Soße so das der Geschmack der anderen Bestandteile völlig unter ging. Die Soße die direkt auf dem Brot war konnte man seitlich raus drücken, was von der Menge etwa 4 Esslöffel entsprach. Oben drauf das selbe, sodas die ganze Pampe sich durch Fleisch und Gemüse drückte und das Brot auseinader viel. So viel Soße hatte ich noch nie in einem einzigen Döner. Bitte macht das anders, oder fragt die Kunden vorher! Wobei die Frage "Komplett".... heißt für mich Komplett Salat und nicht Komplett Soße, also nicht alle 3 Sorten Soße!

In short, good food (autag) good service, just Rostock a bit cold but always friendly and never rude (to those who claim that the staff is unfriendly or not polite!!! As a man screams into the forest, it echoes again out!! Level is not cream people 😂!) The ambience is nothing special but absolutely sufficient for the price-performance ratio and most importantly it is CLEAN!! That's what ultimately matters! Anything else would be/is whining on an extremely high level!! Which brings us back to level 😂lol! Hence the 4 stars and my final statement. The store fits Rostock like a glove!! 4🌟

The kebab man of my childhood. Still my favorite. Even after being out of town for over 10 years, you are recognized.

Just not tasty, the sauces tasted the same, there was no difference apart from the color, the salads were strange, probably with vinegar..., the food was crap, and the service was hmm... as if they worked there as a punishment.

Good kebab, just a bit too much sauce

Meat is becoming less and less and is seasoned with broth powder, where you get the rub, where they try to cover something up, but I couldn't find it. The entire kebab with sauce was savored and then charged 7 euros for it. For the money I go to the Hanse Center in Bentwisch and get a fresh kebab with meat that isn't cut into julienne pieces to increase the margin. Sometimes you want to take your stuff across the store.... So that you can spend 4 hours cleaning what you sold there 🤢🤢🤢

The store is clean and tidy. I had ordered kebab which was soggy and soggy after about 4 minutes of transport. Veal was ordered but mixed on it. Apparently they forgot to toast or it was toasted too short... so if you don't have teeth you can go to this shop. Kind regards

Yesterday I bought a döner and "MONSTER" paid 12 euros. 6.5- döner, one salad, no meat... 5.5 "MONSTER" even SHELL is cheaper on the freeway. I do not recommend it.

The worst kebab I've bought since last time. The meat that sucked instead of normal doner meat was chicken inside. It's best to take a close look at what you're putting in it or buy it somewhere else, so it used to be better here

Ordered a “schnitzel plate”. The “schnitzel” consisted of something mushy and indefinable. A full plate of kebab left standing should have been a warning sign... My companion's kebab was also bad.

The kebab itself was tasty, but somehow it didn't have that kebab taste. I missed the kebab feeling here. What I really liked was the hot sauce, it was very spicy, very tasty.

I will send the health department after you in 2 weeks and I hope your dirty shop closes

The worst kebab my husband and I have ever eaten. Little meat, mushy cucumbers and everything tasted extremely sour. I ate two bites and my husband was allowed to eat the rest so we didn't have to throw it away. Definitely not again!

I have known the store for over 20 years and still enjoy going here. The kebabs are as good as they were when I was at school. Crispy flatbread, crispy meat and fresh ingredients as ever. My first address for kebab in Rostock. :-)

Quite okay for playing slot machines But the kebab is too expensive, little meat and overloaded with sauces

Was there 3 days ago. I ordered veal doner and got veal doner mixed with chicken. The chicken was stored under a bowl and was simply mixed in. The customer may not notice. The last time there after over 25 years.

Haben ein Kalbs,- und ein Hähnchendöner bestellt. Haben zwei Hähnchendöner bekommen. Geschmack gleich null, eher gekocht und nicht gegrillt, zudem relativ wenig. Die Zwiebeln schmecken sehr süß, außer scharf schmeckte man keine Soße. Wir werden dort keinen Döner mehr kaufen.

Dönerfleisch war nicht ganz durch

Ich hatte mir 3 pommdöner bestellt hab nachgerechnet man sollte eigentlich 11,70€ bezahlen stattdessen musste ich 19,50€ zahlen. Auf der Speisekarte stehe 3,90€ und das plus drei, sind 11,70. absoluter Reinfall werde da auf keinen Fall mehr hin gehen, und kann es auch nicht weiter empfehlen. Sorry.

Ich kenne den Chef seit Jahren und es ist einer meiner Lieblings Döner in ganz Rostock.

Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr dürftig. So kleine Portionen habe ich noch nirgendwo gesehen. Davon wird nicht mal ein Kind satt!

Schöne zentrale Lage, gute Preise und wirklich ein guter Service und sehr freundlich. Etwas Punktabzug gibt es allerdings beim Essen, das Dönerfleisch schmeckt eher fade, trocken und sehr zäh.

Dönerteller 9 Euro finde ich für die erhaltene Portion zu teuer. Essen war heiß und okay. Soßen etwas knapp bemessen. Freundliche Bedienung. Update 2023: Für den Dönerteller diesmal 12 € bezahlt. Dieser Preis steht in keinem Verhältnis mehr zur Leistung trotz Inflation, da viel zu viel Salat. Fleischmenge grenzwertig für den Preis, Soßen immer noch zu knapp. Vielleicht ist es nur so knapp bemessen, wenn man den Dönerteller zum Mitnehmen bestellt. Dann sollte er aber im Preis moderater sein.

Sehr leckerer Döner mit Rotkohl und reichlich Käse. Den Käse habe ich extra bestellt, aber dann wurde nicht gegeizt. Die Knoblauchsauce war sehr lecker, das Brot ein schönes Dreiecksfladenbrot und das Fleisch saftig. Der Imbiss ist sauber, das Personal freundlich und der Laden hat bis in die späten Abendstunden geöffnet. Aufjedenfall ein guter Spot für Döner in Rostock.

Super leckere Döner, mit viel Fleisch und leckeren Soßen. Wir kommen immer gerne hin. Meine Tochter, wohnhaft in Tirol, freut sich immer auf einen Döner, wenn sie zu Besuch ist. Das Personal ist auch immer sehr freundlich.

Der Döner 🥙 schmeckt sehr gut, seit Jahren ist es so! Dafür aber ein bisschen teurerer als die meisten.

Essen war in Ordnung doch das Ambiente könnte besser sein, ein Mittelklassiker Dönerladen.

Lecker, sauber und der Preis passt

Ich war leider enttäuscht. Teuer , weniger Fleisch als früher drin und null Grillaromen. Hat insgesamt auch alles nicht so frisch geschmeckt, wie ich mir das gewünscht hätte. Vielleicht, weil Sonntag war. Ich kann es nicht empfehlen. Aber vielleicht auch einfach Pech gehabt.

Diese Einrichtung ist äußerst freundlich gegenüber den Gästen. Zuvorkommend, sehr höflich und fair. Es ist jederzeit der Betrieb während der Öffnungszeiten da vorhanden. Lustig und unterhaltsam ist es auch. Der Mitarbeiter fragte mich, ob ich bezahlen möchte & sagte zu mir, ich solle mich mal wieder blicken lassen. In Warnemünde, davon sprach er, würde er irgendetwas suchen. Auf jeden Fall sehr freundlich und äußerst geduldig. 😊👍

Ich war jetzt 2x dort. Beim ersten mal war mein Fleisch teilweise sehr stark verbrannt !! Beim zweiten Mal, lag ein ein großer Haufen Fleisch abgeschnitten neben den Fleischspieß, der mit 3 Tellern abgedeckt war. Natürlich war das Fleich in meinem Döner dann kalt..... Ich finde sodas geht gar nicht! Die Verkäufer waren aber super nett.

Kurze Wartezeit, super lecker. Sauber Preise sind ok.

Zutaten nicht schlecht. Aber die belegen ihren Döner falsch. Warum müssen die Zutaten reingeschmissen werden, um den Döner beim Einpacken anschließend zusammen zu pressen und danach läuft die Soße überall raus.

Der Laden sieht ordentlich und sauber aus. Personal ist auch freundlich, nur das Essen insgesamt hat nicht überzeugt. Im normalen Döner war mehr Salat und Zwiebeln drin als alles andere, also sehr wenig Fleisch. Dazu war dieses nicht besonders lecker. Dann die 3 Soßenarten, die auch nicht überzeugt haben, zudem viel zu viel im Brot. Es ist alles unten rausgesuppt. Und insgesamt 6€ dafür finde ich sehr doll. Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ist also nicht besonders passend.

Der Döner war nicht so meins. Sehr wenig Fleisch, eine Menge Gemüse. Der untere Teil mit den vielen Zwiebeln war dann doch wieder gut. Jedoch für 6€ viel zu teuer. Die Pommes waren Standard Pommes von Lidl und dafür 5€ zu verlangen ist extrem teuer.

Die Gerichte sind einfach lecker und immer einen Abstecher wert. Das Personal ist nett , sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.
