Very good food, nice service and completely ok price-wise

If you like delicious pizza and pasta, this is the place for you. Simply delicious dishes. Friendly service at fair prices. We've been here twice on vacation.

The pizza was good, but everything else (cheese plate, schnitzel with potatoes and asparagus, risotto) was unfortunately very mediocre. All the doors and windows in the restaurant were open, so the guests inside were plagued by mosquitoes.

Good food and service, we liked it

The food here is quite solid. Pizza is very tasty, pasta is good too. The price/performance ratio is definitely good here. The schnitzel definitely seems like frozen schnitzel, so €24 isn't that reasonable in my opinion. We had the meat and pasta dish unexpectedly quickly. It only took about 15 minutes. They probably put a lot of preparation in there, but that's normal for a menu this size. The pizza arrived 15 minutes later. I find that unpleasant when you're there together. We had problems ordering drinks, though. Instead of Bacardi Coke, we only got a plain Coke. Instead of a large water bottle, we got a whole bottle. So money definitely comes first here.

The food was OK, with fast service and the charm of a fast-food restaurant. Very loud, hectic, and not exactly conducive to a relaxed dinner. The price/performance ratio was just about OK. Less would have been more.

We got a table outside in the evening without a reservation. There were four of us, and we each had a starter and a main course. Unfortunately, my pizza arrived at the same time as my starter. I then asked for it to be served afterward. Ten minutes later, it arrived. I was served the same, now cold pizza. My daughter's spaghetti was forgotten and only brought back very late. Unfortunately, the service that evening was not at all great. There was a lack of cutlery and napkins, and when drinks ran out, you had to wait a long time for a server to come to your table. The food tasted good. Overall, it was a rather average restaurant.

We ordered pizza to go twice while on vacation. The service was incredibly friendly, and all the employees greeted us warmly. Ordering was quick, and 10 minutes later we had our pizzas. They tasted wonderful. Thin crust, lots of flavor. Perfect.

The best pizza around. The food arrives quickly, without a long wait. The atmosphere is also decent, although when the place is packed, the noise level is so loud that you'd think you were sitting in a gym. Otherwise, absolutely top-notch and highly recommended!

Always a highlight for me as a local. The Bella Donna is always a hit.

The food was quick and lukewarm (pasta), but tasty, and the pizza was also edible. The waiters were fast, too fast. They could slow down, offer a smile, and take the order in a more relaxed manner, which would avoid the fast-food feel.

Four of us went to dinner. The food arrived after just 5 minutes. The seafood pizza, mozzarella pizza, and two tortellini were delicious, but everything, including the pizzas, was very salty. The tiramisu was delicious. Friendly service.

The food was good and came really quickly. However, due to the size and the large number of people, it was very loud and hectic. The waiter also seemed rushed.

We had reserved for 7 people, 5 of which arrived within a reasonable time, and 2 didn't arrive at all. We then waited another 20 minutes. When the meals still didn't arrive, we reminded them. By then, everyone else had already finished their meals. To our surprise, the waiter came and asked if we were satisfied. We then informed him that the two remaining meals had still not been served. The people with empty stomachs had lost their appetites in the meantime; who wants to eat alone while everyone else is already finished? Instead of accommodating the guest appropriately and thus making up for their own inability, the restaurant refused to offer the remaining meals free of charge. As is common practice in the restaurant industry. Finally, we would like to point out that we have been going to this restaurant for more than 10 years. That is now over!

The food was too dry/the waiter forgot to bring food to 2 of the 7 people. When asked (after 30 minutes) where the food was, they said they would take care of it immediately. After another 20 minutes, nothing happened, and a third waiter said it wasn't his fault. So what's wrong?

We've been there several times now, and we've never been disappointed. Neither by the friendly staff nor by the food. Since we, as pyrotechnicians, always arrive late for dinner, that wasn't a problem for this great team. Even if it was an exception. We've also been there a few times as a group, and we'd love to come back. Many thanks to the whole team. 😍❤️

In my opinion the best Italian in Karlshagen. The antipasti are all great and the pizzas are fantastic. Zabaione is highly recommended as a dessert. Highly recommended.

The prices were quite high, so that's a minus point. The pizza didn't arrive until the rest of the menu was already ready. The outside atmosphere wasn't that inviting, but the food was very tasty. The white bread was fluffy and delicious. I highly recommend the garlic soup. Otherwise, it's quick to prepare and well-equipped for the crowds.

The interior is quite dated, but the food is excellent! The service is so-so; no requests (e.g., changing the type of pasta) are accommodated, and you have to request a high chair and water for the dog yourself. Seven of us were out in under an hour; everything went very (too) quickly, so it was a lackluster restaurant experience. The prices are good overall.

The food is certainly not freshly prepared. But even a quick meal, frozen food and lots of Maggi made it tasty. The service is fast, but one of the staff members was odd. The prices are typical for tourism (expensive).

We have been coming to Karlshagen for summer vacations for years and visit the Stella del Lago several times during that time. The service is always friendly and the food is very good and delicious. We always look forward to it.

Not recommended. We've never had such a bad meal at an Italian restaurant. The meat was completely overseasoned, the scampi were overcooked, and the adult portions were children's. The main thing is that the prices are reasonable. We ate for almost €120 and didn't even get a standard house drink. The waiter took the €10 tip without a thank you, which then disappeared straight into his pocket. Never again.

There was also hardly any Parmesan, and you had to hunt for the arugula. The penne quattro formaggi tasted of nothing. There were probably four different types of cream cheese in it. My friends weren't particularly satisfied with the pizza, fish, and involtini either. The service... okay... okay, but the rest... no! So if you want good food, definitely not there! The concept is certainly a success, because the tourists change every two weeks at the latest.

But everything else felt like mass production and nothing like a cozy evening at an Italian restaurant. We'd barely finished the starter when the main course arrived. At the tables around us, guests were still eating their starters, and the main courses were brought to their tables. It was like: Quick, quick, quick! It's a shame it's gone down so much. That's why we only went there once during our vacation.

We passed the restaurant at rush hour on our way back from the beach with four adults and two children, and it was clearly already quite full. Nevertheless, we were immediately offered a table. The staff is very friendly, even with children, very attentive, and very quick. We had our food about 20 minutes after sitting down. All of our questions and concerns were answered in great detail. The food was also AMAZINGLY delicious; the garlic soup, in particular, is highly recommended.

This is our third time here in seven years. The first two were great. But today, the complete opposite. You've barely ordered and the appetizer is on the table. Less than two minutes later, the main course arrives. We were there for 10 minutes and were able to eat. That's not what I'd call a cozy evening. My husband's pizza was still raw. That reflects the rush. Unfortunately, it's just mass processing, which is a shame. But we won't be back.

We can't imagine where the good reviews come from. We ordered three pizzas to go, which arrived very quickly. The problem arose when we opened the boxes. The oil just ran all over the pizzas, and the flavor was utterly nonexistent. I don't even want to mention the unfriendly staff. Never again.

After we pointed this out to the waitress, she simply said "okay" instead of an apology. On top of that, we waited half an hour for a Coke. We paid, and the change was simply pocketed without even asking if we wanted to tip. It was complete chaos. Everyone was responsible for each table. The manager was the only one who made an effort.

As soon as we ordered our drinks, he came to our table every minute with his notepad. It was very annoying, and he was annoyed when we weren't ready yet. We had a lovely evening at Stella del Lago. The food was excellent, and so was the ambiance. The various paintings and wines are lovely to look at. Unfortunately, we weren't so impressed with the service due to the rather strong language barrier (Polish). Nevertheless, everyone was super friendly. One star, however, for the restroom door. We were seated right next to it, and virtually every guest seemed to have no idea what a handle was. The door slammed shut every time.

The orange slice was already dry, so the plates were prepared at some point. With the cutlery provided, you couldn't even cut it, only tear it. You could eat it, but for that price and the service, I'll pass. Sorry, there's still a lot of room for improvement. Please adjust the quality and quantity to your prices.
