Wir waren mir Freunden da und wie immer begeistert. Chef und Chefin waren in Urlaub, trotzdem war die Qualität und der Service so perfekt wie gewohnt. Hier kommen wir immer wieder gerne her um uns was Besonderes zu gönnen.

Wie immer super!! Wir waren nach längerer Zeit mal wieder bei Steins und es hat noch an Qualität gewonnen!

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Abend. Das Essen war sehr ansprechend zubereitet. Leider gibt es kein vegetarisches Menue, aber immerhin vegetarische Vorspeisen und Zwischengänge. Weinauswahl sehr beeindruckend. Nur den Geräuschpegel empfanden wir als zu laut.

Es ist immer wieder ein Erlebnis, sich bei Alina und Philipp verwöhnen zu lassen. Das Essen ist immer vorzüglich und der Service herzlich und sehr aufmerksam.

Nachdem die „Genussmomente Gans 2025“ nun leider vorbei sind, hat uns die Küche mit einem außergewöhnlichem Stück Filet vom Angus Rind begeistert. Nach Croustillion und Panko-Garnele als Vorspeise und Birnensorbet zum Abschluss war es wieder ein Erlebnis, so gut bekocht zu werden. Aperitif (Rosé von Braunewell) und Weinbegleitung haben unsern Mittagstisch wieder mal zu einem Festmahl gemacht. Nicht zu vergessen: Service in Bestform 5 von 5 Steinen, Sterne werden überbewertet 🤩

Wie immer eine tolle Erfahrung! Hervorragendes Essen und perfekter Service. Ich komme immer wieder gerne, egal ob privat mit meiner Frau, oder zum Buiness-Lunch mit Angestellten oder Geschäftspartnern. Sie haben mindestens 2 Sterne verdient - weiter so!

Das Menü legere war von Anfang bis Ende ein Genuss. Jeder Teller war ein Kunstwerk. Der Service war aufmerksam ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Die Weinauswahl ist enorm. Die Hintergrundmusik war sehr passend zum Loungecharacter der schönen Räumlichkeiten. Wir können Steins Traube zu 100% empfehlen

Wir waren zum Gänseessen gekommen und sind nicht enttäuscht worden. Der Service war wie immer zuvorkommend aber wohltuend unaufdringlich, das Ambiente sehr gepflegt. Mit einem der besten Gänseessen der letzten Jahre sind wir hochzufrieden wieder nach Hause zurückgekehrt. Auch ohne Gans werden wir sicher wiederkommen!

I had a wonderful lunch at Steins Traube. We did the light menu (menu legere) which came with 5 courses not including petit fours. The staff were very patient and kind with non-German speakers such as myself. We started the meal with non-alcoholic drinks and "snacks" (which overlapped with the starter of our menu). In our case, it was curried prawns covered with katifai. Then we had a burrata dish, a prawn dish, chicken, and dessert. All of the dishes were delicious and not too big or heavy which was fitting for the lighter tasting menu. We learned that the restaurant is owned by a husband and wife and the wife (Alina) served us some of our dishes and she was very friendly. Their kids were in the restaurant during our meal so it was cute to see them wandering around. Definitely recommend having a meal at Steins Traube.

Always looking for a very good restaurant with the right cuisine, we visited "Steins Traube." In short – a highly recommended place. Both the interior and the friendly and professional service were immediately convincing. To get to know the place on our first visit, we opted for the Menue Legere. Sehr entspannte Atmosphäre - bei der Präsentation der Gänge hätte man sich einen Augenblick länger Zeit lassen können. In der Tat: Innen kann es etwas lauter sein, im Grunde aber noch ok. Insgesamt aber ein vorzüglicher Besuch!

Die beste „Kantine“ der Welt. Wenn ich könnt‘, täglich! Unfassbar was aus guten Lebensmitteln, plus besten Zutaten und Berufung fabriziert wird. Egal welche Speisen oder Menüs ich bei Steins Traube genossen habe, es ist immer ein Erlebnis. Da wird mit Passion Gastfreundschaft zelebriert. Mein Geheimtipp: Mehrfach besuchen und die ganze Karte „abfrühstücken“.

A fantastic restaurant, the food was delicious, the atmosphere was wonderful and quiet. The hosts were very nice.

We spent a lovely evening on the terrace and enjoyed an excellent dinner. The ingredients were truly high-quality and fresh, and the food was perfectly prepared. The warm seafood salad is highly recommended. The wine list is very extensive and well-stocked. A true delight for Riesling lovers. The service is very professional and attentive. If you reserve a table in the back, you can still enjoy the last rays of evening sunshine.

We were there during white asparagus season and they really showcased the local dish beautifully. Did the smaller of the two tasting menus and every dish was delicious. Attentive but not overbearing service.

Wie immer ein rundes Vergnügen, auch wenn es - bei allen Anstrengungen, den Geräuschpegel zu dämmen - drinnen immer ein bisschen laut ist. Aber jetzt beginnt da bald die Innenhof-Saison. Nur der Finther Spargel mit Schinkenbeilage war etwas zu üppig portioniert und die Kartoffeln genossen ein zu reichliches Butterbad - da bleibt dann schon mal, wie schade, das Dessert auf der Strecke.

Es war sehr schöner Abend mit einer charmanten Gastgeberin und perfektem, aufmerksamem Service! Wir kommen mit Sicherheit kurzfristig wieder in dieses tolle Restaurant.

To keep it short, we'll be back! What can I say? Just go there and let yourself be pampered with culinary delights. The cooking here is of the highest caliber. Absolutely and without reservation. Anyone who has something to complain about should stay home.

One of the few Michelin-starred restaurants that has remained down-to-earth. Here, you can occasionally deviate from the menu. For vegans, everything is possible with advance notice. And most importantly, the food is just as delicious as any other dish. Highly recommended!

My favorite and regular restaurant

We can only recommend Steins Traube. We have been regular guests here on Valentine's Day for five years - because we also had our wedding there on February 14th. celebrated. The food is simply an absolute highlight. Philipp Stein has an incomparable way of combining flavors and every dish is simply a highlight. We have never been disappointed. The wines are selected with love and are always something special. The waiters make you feel comfortable from the first moment and as if you were an old friend. It all just feels incredibly consistent. We will continue to treat ourselves to this experience once a year.

I mentioned before that my wife is pregnant. There are a lot of things she isn't allowed to eat and it was perfect despite the circumstance! The hostess welcomed us perfectly! Each dish was customized for her. It's unbelievable how good the service is and how much the service pays attention to the right moment with every move. Do you want to eat stars? 11 out of 10 say YES! I can only recommend it to everyone to have such an experience.🤍

Very important. I give my opinion here. We reserved a table for Valentine's Day. A fixed menu sequence was offered. The food was great. The service attentive and polite. For me it felt like there were a bit too many service staff. The atmosphere is not my thing and, as we all know, is a matter of taste. The guest room is kept very clean. As usual for a star kitchen, the prices are very high.

After (too) a long time, I spontaneously went to Steins Traube for lunch. Great ambience, great service and of course very good food!

We had a wonderful and relaxing evening at Steins Traube. The welcome was very warm, everything was explained well to us and we were also impressed by the flexibility of the menu combinations. That was a really nice experience. We'd love to come back!

Unfortunately, our visit to Steins Traube began with disappointment: when we arrived, we were informed that we would not be dining in the stylish main room of the restaurant, but in a small side room located across the courtyard. Unfortunately, we were not informed of this when we made our reservation over the phone, which dampened our expectations from the start. The next room looks like a typical Gutsschänke in a Rheinhessen winery - rustic furnishings, a Christmas tree and an artificial oven. Unfortunately, the elegance and timelessness that the main room exudes and that you expect from a star restaurant was missing. Unfortunately, Ms. Stein did not respond to our feedback in an insightful manner or with an apology. Only the suggestion to make a reservation in the main room on future visits was offered - an offer that unfortunately did not alleviate the acute situation. The spatial conditions led to some inconveniences: 1. The door to the room was stiff, so staff often had to kick it open, causing a loud slam. The constant draft and noise were disturbing and spoiled the experience. 2. Instead of jazz or classical, Christmas music was played that was too loud and poppy. Although it was turned down when asked, it still didn't fit the ambience of a restaurant of this class. 3. Instead of a proper coat rack, there was only a wall hook with hangers available, which was located directly behind our table. The cloakroom was not very attractive and there were disturbances from other guests. 4. Since the food had to be transported across the yard, it rained lightly on the plates - an unacceptable circumstance for a star restaurant. Seating and service issues: 1. The three of us were seated at two tables set together for two. The space for one person was right in the annoying gap between the unequally high tables, which also wobbled. A normal meal was not possible, which is why we had to change the clothes ourselves. 2. Although the dishes were presented in a friendly manner, there was sometimes a lack of expertise. For example, B. the wrong origin of the Swiss Vacherin Mont-d'Or cheese used. 3. Our waiter suggested Pinot Gris with the fish quite generically, without going into personal preferences, vintage or ageing of the wine. His statement that he had not tried many of the wines on offer himself was disappointing - in such cases it would have made sense to refer him to a more competent colleague. The food was without a doubt excellent: creative, high quality and absolutely worthy of the Michelin star. But a visit to a restaurant depends on more than good food - the atmosphere, service and the overall experience also have to be convincing. For a Michelin star restaurant with corresponding prices, our expectations were corresponding, but the sum of the deficiencies and the lack of communication in advance unfortunately spoiled the enjoyment. The Hotel-Restaurant Erbprinz in Ettlingen offers a better example. There, the gourmet restaurant (with one star) and the wine bar are run in different rooms, but under one roof. While the gourmet restaurant impresses with top service and an upscale atmosphere, the wine bar offers a high-quality but more casual experience at more moderate prices. If Steins Traube had adapted this approach and clearly communicated the adjoining room as a rustic alternative with a correspondingly adjusted price level, we would have been able to better manage our expectations. In its current form, however, we unfortunately cannot say with a clear conscience that the restaurant has earned its star in every respect.

We have on December 8th. celebrated our wedding anniversary there and it was just a wonderful evening with really delicious food and a great atmosphere.

Alice was a wonderful host but the food speaks louder than words ! Wonderfully delighted with such great taste in such a quaint location. It deserves a 3 star in my humble opinion. We had the duck confit (thinly crisp skin with such tender meat) and the beef fillet (what savory heavenly sauce) 😋much to rave about the duck fat butter as well - would drive 1000 miles just to taste that butter again!

We visited Steins Traube on a Saturday evening. When we entered the modern dining room, we were greeted by a rather loud backdrop for a gourmet restaurant. Yes, the restaurant was completely full, but my first impression, both visually and acoustically, reminded me more of a bistro than a gourmet restaurant. My personal taste generally lacks a bit of coziness in the guest room. The menu offered a great selection and it wasn't easy to decide. As a starter I chose the lobster soup, which was classically prepared and excellent. In the main course I had a saddle of veal. This course was also absolutely harmonious and excellent. What was definitely worth highlighting was the fantastic jus. There were four of us that evening and we were all very satisfied and impressed with the quality of the food. Visually, without exception, all the dishes were very elaborate and delicately prepared. The sweet conclusion matched the taste and appearance of the previous courses. The service was very good considering the full restaurant, with minimal inattention. But this didn't put a damper on the evening. We felt like we were in very good culinary hands and would love to come back.

Everything was perfect - you don't get such a combination of exquisite cuisine, excellent service and a cozy atmosphere every day. Thank you very much.

Ich habe als Überraschung für meine Partnerin dort einen Tisch zum Geburtstag reserviert. Mit telefonischer Rücksprache würde der Tisch mit einem kleinen Blumengesteck geschmückt und das Menü angepasst, da sie keinen Fisch isst. Alles verlief reibungslos. Das Essen inklusive Weinbegleitung war ein Traum und die Größe vom Hauptgericht hat uns positiv überrascht. Wir kommen wieder 😊

Dass man in Steins Traube gut essen kann, hat sich mittlerweile im ganzen Rhein-Main Gebiet herumgesprochen. Einzigartig aber ist der ebenso liebevolle wie effiziente Service und für alle Weinliebhaber die grandiose Weinbegleitung. Selbst zwei und drei Sterne Restaurants können diesen Standard nicht bieten. Zudem ist die Atmosphäre erfreulich entspannt. Einfach ein Platz zum Wohlfühlen.
