Very disappointing for a Turkish restaurant!! Since we heard from many friends that you can eat so well in a stone oven, we decided to test it out with friends. The ambience and the menu gave hope for good things. I ordered a dish with leg of lamb and my wife was looking forward to her spicy minced meat skewers. First came the salad!!! , consisting of a few thin strips of carrots and a few small lettuce leaves without dressing or taste!! -You can get this better in any cheap chip shop!! -Then our dishes came: My dish came in a casserole dish. There were 5 delicious pieces of meat in a watery liquid with canned green beans with no taste!! You won't get tired of it!! The other dish was also brought in a cast iron casserole dish, not as skewers as described in the menu! Also not as described. Overall very disappointing!! Even the raki before and after eating doesn't save anything. There are much better restaurants in Ahlen!!!

Very nice restaurant with friendly and courteous service. The apple tea, which is offered free when you leave, is highly recommended alongside the rest of the menu!

I was invited to this restaurant (luckily). The ambience, staff, food, everything was great. However, the prices are quite high. For the price of almost 30 euros per main course, there is a little too little on the plate. You don't really get full, and that's as a woman... If you don't necessarily have to spend every euro, you'll get your money's worth here, the somewhat frugal population unfortunately gets the short end of the stick here...

Very good food served in the very nice outdoor area. The prices were also quite reasonable. We will come again. The selection of vegetarian dishes was also very good.

The staff is very friendly. Unfortunately it was a bit stressful that evening. We ordered an appetizer plate and a clay pot meal. Unfortunately, the starter plate was a bit one-sided with a lot of mayonaise. The veal skewer was excellent. Gladly again!

We were here for the first time and loved it. The food was super tasty. The waitresses were very friendly and accommodating. Despite the fact that it was packed, we didn't wait long for drinks or food. The food was very warm, which is not the case in most restaurants. I haven't eaten so well in a long time.

The food is always good and definitely recommended. The service is just as good as the food. The ambience, however, reminds me little of a Turkish restaurant as it is from my Türkiye know vacation. Personally, I find the whole atmosphere a bit cold and it has a train station hall feel to me. It's lovely to sit outside at the market in summer.

Top!!! I went out to eat with my friends today, the food was delicious and the service was really caring and attentive, I've never seen anything like that in any store before. We're really impressed that the evening was so nice in the stone oven. We had dinner in the stone oven last night. It's a super nice cozy Turkish restaurant. The food is always delicious and there is something for every taste. Drinks are served quickly after ordering. The whole staff is super friendly!!!

Mega friendly and modern restaurant. We went on a bevel bike tour with 17 people and we didn't miss anything. Thanks to the whole Steinofen team, super attentive :-) Welcome from the boss himself, the service and food were 100% according to our expectations! Very nice location. Were on June 25th. for dinner with relatives and celebrated an 84th birthday. Without us saying anything about it, we were asked Ines what was there to celebrate. We said yes and we get a house champagne. We ordered a mezze special platter for everyone, it came in a reasonable time. Our main courses were all delicious. Vegetarian requests are also catered for. At the end, after paying, the anniversary recipient was given a bottle of wine. Very attentive, top service, thank you very much. We will be back!

Best Balkan restaurant far and wide. The service is always 1A. And the food is truly breathtaking, always perfect quality. It's not always so crowded for nothing. It's best to make a reservation, but you can also get lucky. I was told that some well-known people have already been there.😉

Food is okay, nothing special and not enough to fill you up! Service: you are greeted nicely, the boss does the collecting, so there are no tips for the waitress! Ambiance: Noise like in the train station! This reverb reproduction is unbelievable, you can even hear it outside!

Pizza tastes like frozen goods and the manager of the shop should take a course where he learns to be polite to the guests. If possible 0 stars.

It was incredibly busy and we had to wait a few minutes longer for our order to be taken. As a gift, a Prosseco was brought to us without us saying anything. We didn't expect that at all because we saw what was going on. Very attentive! The food was great! Great restaurant! Price performance was awesome!

A very strong restaurant experience! Really delicious food, crispy lamb chops with great sauce. Very friendly and fast service including fun. The store was packed on a Monday evening - that's what it says. Plus raki on the house. Absolutely any time again!

When you show up unannounced with 5 people and are greeted with champagne because you have to wait 5 minutes... that has style 🤩 The staff was super friendly and organized, the food was delicious and the drinks were nice and cold 👍🏻 we'll stop there again next time we're in Ahlen 🍀

I've enjoyed eating there with my family for years. I found our evening yesterday very stressful. The table was reserved and everything came quickly. Drinks, starter, salad and main course. Overall, our stay only lasted about an hour. Nothing to do with chatting or enjoying another drink. No one asked for dessert at all, just whether the table could be swapped. I can understand that tables are occupied more often in the evening, but the feel-good character should not be lost. Everyday life is stressful enough and going to a restaurant shouldn't be too.

Einfach Perfekt. Sehr leckeres Essen und zuvorkommendes Personal. Gab beim Tisch schon vorab nen Raki, hätte es jedoch schöner gefunden wenn vorher gefragt wird wer Alkohol trinkt, da bei uns 3 von 4 Gläsern nicht getrunken wurden.

Das Essen war wirklich lecker und authentisch. Die Bedienung sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Einziger Kritikpunkt war der Salat der nur mit Ol statt einem Dressing war. Auf Nachfrage gab es dann noch ein leckeren Granatapfel Balsamico dazu. Bei der Köfte hätten wir uns eine etwas größere Portion gewünscht, bei eine Köpfte mehr währe dann dem Preis von knapp 20€ auch gerechtfertigt gewesen. Meine Lammhaxe hingegen war groß und sehr lecker. Essen kam auch Recht zügig obwohl das Restaurant gut besucht war. Auch die offene Küche hat mir sehr gefallen. Trotz der kleinen Verbesserungspunkte immer wieder gerne.

Vom Essen her und von der Bedienung absolut Spitze. Leider eine hohe Geräuschkulisse so das wir uns nicht richtig unterhalten konnten. Ansonsten wirklich klasse und weiter zu empfehlen.

War an einem Freitag Abend dort und der Laden brummt. Trotz des großen Andrangs war der Service sehr aufmerksam und schnell. Das Essen hat sehr gut geschmeckt und bietet türkische Küche abseits von Dönerimbiss Einerlei. Bei der Zubereitung der Speisen kann man zusehen da der Ofen vom Gastraum einsehbar ist. Das einzige was mich nachhaltig gestört hat war die Geräuschkulisse, es war wirklich sehr laut und ich musste mich konzentrieren um ein vernünftiges Gespräch zu führen, bzw dem zu folgen was meine Begleiter erzählt haben.

Ich habe dort unsere Weihnachtsfeier verbracht. Essen war sehr gut, auch tolle Presentation der Speisen ( ich glaube es waren Steinplatten?) Das einzige Mankos: die Lautstärke (wofür das Restaurant nichts kann)

Sehr beliebtes Restaurant dessen Essen der typischen türkischen Küche entspricht u. damit den Charakter von Eintopf- oder Pfannengetichten hat. Uns hat es sehr gut geschmeckt. Wer einen ruhigen Tisch für mehr als 2 Personen benötigt, sollte unbedingt reservieren. Die Bedienungskräfte sind auf zack und sehr freundlich.

Wir sind schon einige Jahre Stammgast im Steinofen in Ahlen. Das Essen ist immer sehr gut. Der Wohlfühlfaktor ist sehr hoch. Der Umgang ist sehr familiär und herzlich. Es ist schon Bemerkenswert was das ganze Team vom Steinofen jeden Tag, und das schon über Jahre leistet. Vielen Dank für viele schöne Stunden.

Erste mal da ..Mega laden man kommt rein und fühlt sich wohl der Herr hinter der Theke mach einen Spaß mit einem, und zur Begrüßung erstmal einen Raki herrlich. Der Platz am Feuer bei der Jahreszeit 100%. Und das Essen war Wahnsinn der Rat vom Chef das Lammkotelett zu nehmen war vollkommen richtig lecker 🤤. Und der Gruß aus der Küche sucuk Mega. Da hat sich der Weg nach Ahlen gelohnt . Bay Claves'ten patrona saygılarımla 😉

Dieser Laden ist völlig überbewertet und unverständlicherweise gut bewertet. Es wurden bestellte Getränke vergessen, die erst nach weiterer bitte an den Tisch kamen. Die Speisen sind zwar heiß, aber viel zu wenig, um auch nur ansatzweise statt zu werden. Das Lammfleisch auf dem Teller war derartig kaputtgegrillt, nicht mehr saftig, einfach nur völlig trocken. Mich zieht in dieses Restaurant absolut nichts mehr.

Sehr gutes Essen und super Aufmerksames Personal. Ich finde das Lokal zu eng bestuhlt und dadurch herrscht ein recht hoher geräusch Pegel. Aber das ist nur mein Persönlicher Eindruck.

Wir haben gerade dort gegessen und uns zu mehreren getroffen . Es hat Spaß gemacht das Essen war gut die Stimmung war toll . Alles bestens
