Steinhaus in Delmenhorst

Wir waren schon oft im Steinhaus. Sind bisher immer sehr zufrieden gewesen. Werden auch in Zukunft sehr gerne dort essen.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen, das Essen und das Ambiente- genial! Wir kommen ganz bestimmt wieder.

Hat uns sehr gut gefallen!!! Kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Ich kann das Steinhaus wirklich nur weiter empfehlen… bin bis jetzt immer sehr zufrieden.

Ich war mit meinen Söhnen essen und es hat uns allen sehr gut gefallen. Das Essen (Pasta, Schnitzel und Burger) hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Wir waren das erste Mal im Steinhaus und es war super schön und lecker. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

Wir waren an einem der Weihnachtsfeiertage mit 5 Personen zum Mittag im Steinhaus. Das Ambiente ist modern und gemütlich. Die Speisekarte hat eine große Auswahl an internationalen Gerichten, insbesondere wer schärfere/ pikante Gericht mag, findet hier etwas. Vegetarische, vegane Gerichte sowie zwei verschiedene Schärfegrafe sind ausgezeichnet. Sie haben auch eine große Getränkeauswahl, u.a. Homemade Limonaden und Cocktails ( auch alkoholfrei). Das Essen war sehr lecker. Der Service- zumindest die Kraft, die uns bediente, wirkte etwas genervt und schnippisch, z.B. wollten wir das Essen mit den Getränken bestellen, worauf sie erwiderte, es würden erst die Getränke serviert und dann wird die Essensbestellung aufgenommen. Sonst war alles fein- Preis- Leistung ist auch vollkommen okay.

Tolles Essen/Ambiente, super freundliches Personal. Sonntags gibt es extra eine Schnitzelkarte zusätzlich. Auch gut geeignet für Allergiker. Kann man nur empfehlen. Wir kommen wieder. 👏😋

We were there with a large group. The server was visibly annoyed and took all our orders with inappropriate comments. Some of the food wasn't even worth one star. Next time, we'll spend our girls' night out somewhere nicer!

We ate at Steinhaus for the first time last night and we really enjoyed it. The service was very friendly and we liked the atmosphere. We had a chicken stir-fry and a Little Italy schnitzel, both absolutely delicious, and we were also very pleased that we could choose our own side dishes. We would have preferred if the ketchup and mayonnaise had been served in small jars instead of pre-packaged packets. We will definitely be back!

Ein wunderbares Ambiete. Der Service ist aufmerksam und freundlich. Die Speisekarte lässt keine Wünsche offen und die Qualität der Speisen ist sehr gut. Insgesamt ein hervorragendes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Ich bin Wiederholung-Gast und meine Gäste waren ebenso begeistert wie ich.

Delicious but very dark in the restaurant.

A cozy atmosphere, even when the place is full. Dim lighting invites you to linger. Excellent schnitzel with a crispy coating, cooked to perfection. Finally, a restaurant that serves its dishes on warm plates. Huge portions with delicious fries and a superb side salad. All for the amazing price of €12 on Schnitzel Sunday, with friendly service. This certainly won't be our last visit to Steinhaus.

Das Essen kam schnell, superschön angerichtet und heiß. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend, höflich und aufmerksam. Der Geräuschpegel im Glashaus/Überdachung ist immer etwas lauter. Gerne wieder.

Yesterday, my regular group and I went to Steinhaus for the first time. The service was great and competent. The food was very good. Everyone was very satisfied and full. Unfortunately, it was a bit noisy.

There were three of us there on a Saturday evening. The restaurant was a bit too dark and noisy for my taste. The service was okay, but more on that later. After ordering, the food arrived very quickly, and the food itself was just as good. Nothing special in terms of flavor, and the steamed vegetables were limp and swimming in oil. We had two schnitzels with mushroom sauce and a burger. The schnitzel was nothing special, and the sauce was too thick and there was far too little. After we let them know that we wanted more mushroom sauce, a very small bowl arrived, which cost us a fortune. With the rather hefty bill for such a "so-so" meal, we were charged €2.50 for this small bowl of sauce. When we asked the waitress, she very rudely and clearly explained that we had the money and shouldn't make such a fuss. It was normal, and every guest would know, that extras are expensive. It was outrageous.

Wir wohnen schon einige Jahre in Delmenhorst, aber irgendwie haben wir es nie ins Steinhaus geschafft, obwohl es ja sehr praktisch neben dem Kino gelegen ist. Nun, haben wir es endlich geschafft und wurden nicht enttäuscht! Ein ganz angenehmes Ambiente mit erstaunlich geringem Lärmpegel war das erste was uns aufgefallen ist. Aber nun zum Essen. Wir waren zu viert und hatten Tomatensuppe, Kürbis Ingwer Suppe, einen Green Burger, einen klassischen Burger, ein vegetarisches Gericht und ein Steak. Alle Speisen waren hervorragend, da gab es nichts zu meckern! Lediglich bei den Pommes handelte es sich nicht klassische Pommes, sonderm sie waren innen hohl und wohl irgendwie extrudiert. Geschmacklich waren sie super, aber Pommes die innen hohl sind fanden wir alle nicht so toll.

There were four of us, and all the dishes were completely satisfactory. Special requests were accommodated without any problems.

Modern-rustic restaurant with a plentiful menu. No wait on a Saturday at 6:00 PM. Friendly service. Ambience/decor quite appealing. There's an outdoor terrace. Unfortunately, my meal was so-so at best... Schnitzel with creamy mushroom sauce, fried potatoes, and an Italian side salad. The salad was good and tasty. The fried potatoes, in a separate bowl, were swimming in fat and not crispy at all. At least the flavor was OK. The two small pork schnitzels were smothered in mushroom sauce. The sauce was visually recognizable as mushroom sauce, but unfortunately, not in the mouth. They tasted of almost nothing. The pepper sauce on the schnitzels at the next table looked just as pale and bland as mine. The same applied to the schnitzels. Almost no flavor of their own, not even through the breading. I was extremely hungry and even ate it all, but without any real enjoyment. When the waitress then asked, as is obligatory, whether I enjoyed the food and noticed my skeptical look, she decided not to ask. By the way, there's no need for customers to create a higher noise level, because there's a persistent, endless track of bamm-bamm club music. If you like it... it got pretty annoying to me after a while.

So far, everything's good, but I'm disappointed with the schnitzel. It was probably a pre-made product with industrial breading. Better to spend a few euros more and bread it yourself.

My husband and I wanted to go out for dinner spontaneously. He called around 10:30 p.m. and asked if the opening hours on the internet were correct. It said they were open until 1:00 a.m. (Friday evening). The lady on the phone sometimes said 12:30 a.m., depending on how many guests were still there. So we went and arrived shortly before 11:00 p.m. When we asked again, they told us "just one more round." When we asked what that meant, they said, "They're not serving anymore (because they suddenly wanted to close), just drinks. If you're hungry, go for a kebab." Excuse me, what? Hospitality is something else entirely. Steinhaus is out of the question for us.

We had a delicious meal at Steinhaus. The menu is extensive. The service was quick and very friendly. We didn't have to wait long for our food, even though the place was almost full. It's a shame we don't live nearby, otherwise we would definitely come here more often.

Highly recommended. The ambiance and service are of high quality. The food consisted of several orders, and without exception, all the dishes were delicious and highly recommended. The prices are reasonable and fair. Parking is available directly in front of the restaurant in a shared parking lot. Reservations are recommended.

The food was excellent! Unfortunately, there wasn't enough bread for the starter, and we had to wait a long time for more. Otherwise, everything was excellent.

Four of us were there last night. The food was poorly presented and could have used a lot more seasoning. The service was beyond poor. We were only able to order one drink. No one came to ask if we could have anything else. Additionally, I had the impression that only their favorite guests were served. It's a real shame, because the place is really nice. For me, it was my first and last time there.

Well... no offense but today was a disappointment... the food was served carelessly and boringly... the service was completely aimless, inattentive and preoccupied with other things, such as mobile phones, looking stupid or how to ignore guests... Conclusion... no thanks, we definitely won't be coming back

We went to the Steinhaus with a group for dinner. Everyone enjoyed the food, and the service was friendly. Thanks to the separate seating areas, it was pleasantly quiet, making it easy to have a conversation.

The Steinhaus was always great (5 stars), and we stayed here regularly. Unfortunately, the parking situation has died for us. No matter when we've been here in recent years, we've never had a parking problem. It's all about making money for the parking lot operator. The Jute Center with all its shops was pretty much the only thing that lured me to Del. to spend money, so now I'm back to HB.

The food was good, the service was good, and the prices were quite reasonable, but not cheap (€82.50 for two people including soup). I'd be happy to go again.

I have to say, I've rarely experienced such nice, friendly staff, and the food (schnitzel menu) is simply superb. If I'm ever in Delmenhorst again, I really hope to dine there again. It's a shame there aren't six stars. You get them from me. Manfred from Gifhorn

A pleasant surprise for this city. The choice of food is also creative. I particularly enjoyed dealing with guests and the food was above average. I think the 2-hour rule is fine. Guests who stay for a long time, don't reorder and have no idea about the existence/cost structure are not okay. Better fast food then🫢

Been there on March 22nd with 9 people. The online reservation works very well, the day before you get an email asking whether it will stay that way (sensible - unfortunately there are too many no-shows). The reservation confirmation also states how long a table will be available depending on the number of guests. Which is normal, because a restaurant has to allocate tables more than once, otherwise it doesn't pay off. Food was great for everyone. The service is great and newcomers to the waitresses put a lot of effort into it. Unfortunately, there are a lot of complainers among the guests because they just have to find something, otherwise their day will be ruined. But this is also common in retail. Important: the center has now introduced maximum parking times like so many places. The idea is not to scare away customers, but rather long-term parkers who park their cars and then drive on as a carpool or by train and use the spaces all day. The official duration is 2 hours, in the parking garage 6 hours. But there are no problems in the restaurants and there is an extension of up to 6 hours. The operation shows a QR code, scan it, enter the license plate number and optionally your own email address, then there is even a confirmation that it has now been 6 hours. Well then…

Waren jetzt das zweite Mal im Steinhaus. Leider nicht im "Glaskasten", dort fand ich es einfach gemütlicher, aber auch der Hauptraum war schön aber leider nicht so separat. Sonst war der Service, wie beim ersten Besuch, sehr nett und das Essen auch wieder sehr lecker und man ist auf Sonderwünsche eingegangen. Toll ist auch das man sich zum Hauptgericht die Beilagen, je 2, ohne Aufpreis, aussuchen kann. TOP Auch konnte ich den Wein vorher kosten ob mir dieser schmeckt, ganz toll! Was uns allerdings überrascht hat, als wir die Reste des Essen haben einpacken lassen um diese mitzunehmen, das dass extra 1 € gekostet hat. Auf Nachfrage wurde uns gesagt das die Verpackungen angeblich pro Stück 2,50€ kostet, also das halte ich für unwahrscheinlich und das man uns vorher nicht darauf hingewiesen hat fand ich auch nicht so gut. Man sagte uns es würde in der Karte stehen, aber mal im Ernst wer guckt denn nach so was?? Es geht mir nicht um den Euro aber ich fand die Aussage nicht so passend. Sonst werden wir das Steinhaus definitiv wiedersehen, Preis Leistung ist super und das Personal unheimlich zugewandt, vielen Dank für den schönen Abend.

Wir sind heute zum dritten Mal dort gewesen - immer jeweils vor einem Kinobesuch nebenan. Insofern passte es stets, dass der Tisch nur für 2 Stunden zur Verfügung steht. Service am Tisch ist immer sehr nett, freundlich und hilfreich, wenn mal der eine oder andere Sonderwunsch geäußert wird. Auswahl und das Essen an sich gefallen uns auch. Weswegen wir uns heute mal die Mühe machen, eine Bewertung abzugeben, ist die Dame, die die Gäste dort in Empfang nimmt und für die Reservierungen zuständig ist. Noch nie ein Lächeln gesehen, immer sofort unfreundlich und pampig - null kundenorientiert und nachhaltig. Einfach nur ätzend. Wieso muss ich mich als Gast so anmachen lassen, mir so einen Ton gefallen lassen, wenn ich einfach nur einen netten Abend haben möchte?! Wenn diese Person keine Lust auf ihren Job hat bzw. weswegen auch immer gestresst ist - so gehört sie nicht direkt an diese Stelle. Für den ersten Eindruck gibt es keine zweite Chance.

Online tetmin hat hervorragend geklappt. Essen total lecker. Service sehr freundlich und aufmerksam Einziger Kritikpunkt für mich war ,dass der Tisch zu weit von der Bank weg war. Ich hatte aber versäumt zu schauen ob ich es hätte ändern können.

Leider wurde uns zu Beginn des Besuches gleich darauf hin gewiesen, der Tisch steht uns nur für 2 Stunden zur Verfügung.

Wir waren mit vier Personen hier essen. Sehr guter und freundlicher Service. Sehr gutes Essen und absolut gutes Preis-Leistungs Verhältnis. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

We had reserved a table. After the welcome we were immediately informed that the table was only available for 2 hours. We were not told this when making the reservation. We would have liked to stay longer, but this wish was not taken into account, even though tables were still available. Exactly after 2 hours we had to pay and were told by looks that our time was now up. We would have liked to sit there some more and have a drink too. But after this expulsion, they will probably choose another restaurant that treats its guests politely. It's a shame because the food was very tasty.

Module meals also included in delivery. Potties so hot that you can't touch them (it would somehow be easier to put everything on a plate, especially since it arrives half empty). Once again you end up in the winter garden with the table reservation where the window is thrown open at the end of the day and you prefer to leave instead of freezing yourself off. Quality of the food is good.

The Steinhaus is a great location for a cozy meal. The cozy, rather rustic-looking ambience, the delicious food and the great service complete the offer. During the meal, service staff kept coming and asking whether everything was still satisfactory, whether anyone needed something to drink, etc. Afterwards we also had delicious cocktails that didn't taste like cheap ready-made drinks from the bottle, but you could tell that they were freshly made. And in the end we were pleasantly surprised by the bill. So everything was a success, we'll definitely be back again!

Basically delicious food and sometimes nice service, tables placed close together in the main dining room, mass processing, full, constant rejection of guests because they hadn't reserved, child-unfriendly: incredibly bitchy because of decorative balloons, no toy box/corner or similar, we then have to pay from the € We bought nice balloons from Inkoop for the 5,000 tip we would have otherwise happily given to the waitress 🤷‍♀️😉
