Unfortunately, the food and service did not meet the expectations of the ambience. There was always one little thing out of four meals in our group that wasn't good. We would have expected more here, even with the prices. Therefore more of a one-off visit.

The steakhouse in Augsburg's Bismarckviertel is a true jewel in the city's gastronomic landscape. My family and I have been loyal guests of this extraordinary restaurant for many years. The consistently high quality of the food and the attentive, fast service have always impressed us. The versatility of the ambience is particularly impressive: in summer, the spacious outdoor terrace offers a wonderful view of the barracks district and an inviting square with a children's playground, which is ideal for families. In winter, the crackling fireplace in the historic vault of the Prinz Karl Palais creates a cozy and elegant atmosphere that makes a visit to the restaurant a special experience. In addition to the excellent steaks, which are among the best in the city, the restaurant impresses with a wide selection of exquisitely prepared dishes that make every visit a culinary highlight. A fine drink as an aperitif rounds off the experience and prepares you perfectly for the upcoming menu. We always enjoy returning to this extraordinary restaurant and can recommend it without reservation - be it for a cozy evening for two, a family meal or a special celebration.

Yes, the food was well-intentioned but the service was a maximum of 0 stars. Loud shouting and arguments from the kitchen and totally unfriendly service. Never say goodbye again

We went to the steak factory because of the Finedine Box. From the starter to the main course and dessert, everything was very fine and of a very high standard. Particularly noteworthy is the friendliness and professionalism of the service staff. We'll definitely be back (even without a box 😉).

I have been here several times and wanted to share my experiences. As soon as you arrive, the steak factory gives you a warm feeling that makes you feel comfortable, everything is clean, very stylishly furnished and fits the theme. The service is always helpful, friendly and competent at the same time. You will receive direct advice if you have a question about a drink or especially about meat. I can choose the piece myself before roasting, my favorite so far is the US Prime Ribeye (from the aging cabinet). Cooking point, cut and presentation are all A. All in all, I can't think of a negative point and it's worth a visit every time!

On the way to Italy we dined at the steak factory in Augsburg. A very special restaurant inside and out. It was a very nice evening with a wonderful atmosphere and exquisite food. The steak was incredible, the sides were delicious!!! An absolute culinary delight. Thank you!

The ambience and service were excellent, but unfortunately the steaks were too oily and partly burnt. I had the misfortune of receiving a really miserable, oily/burnt Kobe there. Other visits also have a similar conclusion: very good except for the steaks, but that's just not enough.

The atmosphere is very nice, but we had to wait about 40 minutes for our drinks. And it took almost 1 1/2 hours for the meal. The steak file was ok.

It's an amazing steakhouse, our waiter was so top!! But the chefs could do better with the food presentation.

Das Steak in diesem Etablissement ist wirklich göttlich. Auf den Punkt gebraten und jeder bissen ein Genuss. Die Beilagen machen dieses ohnehin schon einmalig Erlebnis nur noch runder. Der Service ist sehr angenehm und gastfreundlich. Preise sind verhältnismäßig hoch aber das Fleisch ist trotzdem (oder vielleicht auch deswegen) einfach nur genial. Große Empfehlung von mir! PS: Unbedingt das Carpaccio probieren, da kommt man aus dem schwärmen nicht raus.

We came here on a recommendation and I think it was the best steak I've eaten in my life. We had fillet of Kobe beef as a starter and you didn't need a knife to share it as it was so soft But the other steaks on the menu and the starters like the prawns were also incredibly tasty If you're willing to spend a little more, you'll be incredibly happy here

A few years ago we went to the steak factory very often. It was always my favorite place! The prices are high and you can expect excellent quality of the food and the staff. We still really enjoy being here. I just have to be honest and say that the quality is not always consistently top. We are there much less often. It was great again recently, hence this rating. :)

A very nice restaurant with an attractive beer garden. Our steaks were fantastic! ! ! We were completely satisfied from A to Z. The very friendly, attentive and competent staff made the evening perfect.

We were in the steakhouse with a large group during a football tournament, which unfortunately is definitely not recommended. No wonder, with almost 60 people we had to wait a long time until everyone had eaten. But that was probably more due to our planning. The food was excellent and the service was very accommodating despite the large crowd. That's why the restaurant can be recommended despite the problems.

Went here on a recommendation. The reservation was very easy and quick (via Google). The service was very friendly and quick. The food was a dream, I have never eaten such a soft turkey steak before, the home-made fries were very tasty, the sauce was peanut chili (I didn't notice the chili, it tasted very much like peanuts) and the small side salad was very tasty with various nuts and cores. My companion's steak was also perfect, he has never eaten better. So for dessert there were chocolate lava cakes with ice cream. What seemed a bit lost on the huge plate was decorated a lot. A bit too small for the price, but very tasty. The portions aren't big per se, but there's enough to leave you feeling comfortably full and not too full. Kudos also to the forest fruit spritzer we made ourselves, a dream 😍

Unsere Bedienung, Alessandra, hat den Abend wirklich besonders gemacht. Sie war äußerst aufmerksam, freundlich und professionell. Von der Empfehlung der besten Gerichte bis hin zur schnellen und präzisen Bedienung – Alessandra hat in jeder Hinsicht überzeugt. Die Qualität der Steaks war herausragend. Das Fleisch war perfekt zubereitet, saftig und genau auf den Punkt. Die Beilagen waren ebenfalls köstlich und rundeten das Geschmackserlebnis ab. Man merkt, dass in der Steak Manufaktur hoher Wert auf Qualität und Frische gelegt wird. Insgesamt war mein Besuch in der Steak Manufaktur ein voller Erfolg. Son invited to eat really good steak because he passed his driving license. He chose the Premium Choice menu: 350g steak divided into 1x original Kobe beef, 1x flank steak and 1x Black Angus beef on one plate. Side dishes are a minor matter. What can you say? Perfectly prepared and tastes sensational. Service very nice and competent. Reasonably priced for the quality. My recommendation.

We were there for the first time today. I'm not a steak eater my husband loves it. I tried it and have to say it was the best thing I've ever eaten...Prices are a little higher than in other local places but I think that for this quality of meat, the absolutely very friendly staff and the place itself are absolutely justified... .I don't know of a better restaurant in Augsburg. 100 stars if possible.

It was our first visit to this restaurant. First of all: the 300 km journey was worth it! It was a successful evening. My wish for a beautiful table for a special occasion was fulfilled. The service was very nice, attentive, pleasantly relaxed and gave very good advice. The food was perfectly prepared to our liking from start to finish. Very tender meat. Dessert is a perfect ending. Many thanks to all employees for this great evening! Otherwise, I don't think the price/performance ratio is exaggerated at all. On the contrary. Considering the quality, it was rather cheap!

We don't tend to rate hotels or restaurants, neither positively nor negatively, but this time it has to be done! The two of us visited the restaurant and, in addition to the appetizer platter, ordered the beef fillet - sliced ​​meat and the onion roast from the Black Agnus hip steak from the “Our Classics” section. First of all, the appetizer platter for 2 people (€33.60), grossly overpriced. Chorizco sizzled completely black, and Nomen est Omen, Ishi=jap. Stone, rock hard, a small pile of Mediterranean vegetables, boring in taste. Only the beef tartare tasted interesting. Sliced ​​meat extremely disappointing Taste, the potato fritters with a rock-hard shell. The wild herb salad probably had to wait a long time before it found its way to us in a soft state. The onion roast was served with cheese spaetzle, which came out quite “mushy” on the plate and couldn’t even compete with a club restaurant in terms of taste. The meat was mostly tender, but with a few fibrous parts that had to remain on the plate after intensive chewing. Service, also as far as the receptionist is concerned, friendly in attitude and tone. The ambience can be quite an experience for guests who are not familiar with brick vaults. It may be that the dishes that find their way to guests as steaks deserve the good reviews, but this was not the case for the classics we ate, including the appetizer platter. A pity !

My absolute favorite restaurant in Augsburg. The price is a bit high, but you get top quality of the food and drinks on offer, a really great ambience and perfect service from the entire team - always close to the guest - but never intrusive. Special requests are also happy to be fulfilled if possible. I would particularly like to positively mention Marco from the restaurant team, who enhances every visit with his very friendly and professional manner.

A great, upscale steak restaurant with a very pleasant atmosphere. The food and drinks were excellent, the service was very friendly and attentive (which is no longer a given today). It was also notable that the volume in the room was still quite pleasant despite there being numerous guests (>40 people). The price is a little more expensive than the "normal" steak restaurant - but worth every cent! We'd love to come back!

The steaks are really very tasty 😋 there is nothing to complain about in terms of quality and selection. The staff is friendly, quick and attentive. What I don't like is that the restaurant is relatively narrow and the tables are close to each other. And: you have to be able to afford to eat there...the prices are tough.

As always, the food is very good, the quality is first class. The service is also very attentive - but…. If I reserve a table at 7:30 p.m., I don't want to eat until 9:30 p.m. That's too late for me.

In summary, the word for the steak factory is: okay. Ambience very very nice. Service easy, friendly and relaxed. Sometimes a bit too brisk. Meat quality great! The side dishes: baked potato lame, port wine onion tasteless, potato risotto disastrous, salad okay, beans very tasty; great garlic baguette. The price is very high and therefore the price-performance ratio is 2/5. It's a shame, we were really looking forward to the evening.

A wonderful restaurant with everything you could wish for. We came from Kiel especially because we saw my restaurant and your restaurant. We also visited the other competitors, but for us the steak manufacturer is the winner. The food and the accompaniment were all excellent.

Unfortunately, it felt quite mass-produced. Three different couples had sat at the table next to us (60cm away) within 1.30 hours. The steak wasn't the burner either, but rather different, even though my partner and I had ordered the same steak... Was worth an experience.

Cool location, meat quality throughout at an extremely high level. 3 points for the food just because of the price of the side dishes, which is way too high! The cooking point ordered (medium rare) is on point. A small disadvantage about the location, it is very loud. Going there spontaneously is like playing the lottery, so make a reservation.

Price-performance doesn't fit in my opinion A main course for over 30 or 100€... Plus cheap pre-folded paper napkins, no decorations at the table, seating too narrow for my taste. Steaks fried to perfection, sauces and dips (aioli, bernaise) didn't suit our taste. Onions in the onion roast didn't taste fresh and were bland. Especially because the prices for the supplements are reasonable, you have a certain expectation here too. Fish soup had two shrimps and three very small pieces of fish (two with bones), but vegetables that were too caramelized. This was also said to the waiter when asked, but no response, although he wanted to pass it on to the kitchen. I think it's excessive to charge €2.5 per bacon-wrapped date, plus it's served on a bed of unmarinated lettuce. Young service staff partly insecure and not sufficiently trained. No repeat there for me.

Service was perfect .. however we had to wait 45 minutes or more for our food after we had devoured our starter .. the potatoes we requested were missing from the main course but were not missing from the bill .. flank steak was on the menu but I received it I something else... unfortunately!! Price performance in my opinion overpriced... our family also has a steakhouse and that's why I know how to distinguish what a flank steak is... had to travel an extra long distance (approx. 100km) only to be unfortunately disappointed.. Unfortunately my wife and I had stomach problems until the next morning.. when we're in the area again I'll try it again.. everyone deserves a second chance

A recommended location to satisfy people with different diets. There is a manageable (quite classic) menu for both vegetarians and vegans: 2 starters (salad & soup), around 3 main courses (large salad, changing risotto, tempura plate with salad) & some desserts. There are also a variety of different side dishes that are also vegetarian/vegan and with which you can put together a kind of tapas such as baked potato with sour cream, corn on the cob with herb butter, spinach with garlic chips, sweet potato and steak fries, an interesting potato risotto and much more more. The selection of homemade sauces and dips is just as large. There's no need to worry about variety or not enough choice when it comes to desserts. The selection is unusually large (chocolate mousse, crème brulee, mille-feuille, sorbet & ice cream). As a non-alcoholic guest, the non-alcoholic cocktail offering, i.e. mocktails, was also positive. When it comes to selection, taste and presentation, the vegetarians and vegans among us are very satisfied. Everyone just felt that the portion sizes were too small or the prices were too high. Also applies to drinks. Interior & ambience inviting - Like the point “taste”, it is always a very subjective matter. What's more important is that everything is clean. Both the guest room and the sanitary facilities. All in all, highly recommended, although not cheap, which is especially true for meat eaters.

The first time I was back in the store since the Corona pandemic and I was so negatively impressed that I now have to comment on it. The food was good, no question, but the prices are just outrageous for the quantity. When it comes to meat, charging almost 40 euros for 350g of rib eye is one thing. But the side dishes were so poor in terms of quantity and quality that you should almost be ashamed. I'm happy to spend 70 - 100 euros but then I expect more. The obligatory garlic bread has become little more than a slice of toast, so you can see that savings are being made here at every turn. The waitress made us sit there for ages with our drinks, and even the well-intentioned jokes from the cellar didn't compensate for that. Unfortunately for me, the steak factory has passed its peak. That's really a pity.

There was only one waiter who was friendly, attentive and competent. The others were very clumsy, listless, in a bad mood and loudly complained about other guests in the dining room. The drinks were all good, but unfortunately they were poured far below the calibration. It's a shame how the restaurant has developed.

We had a wonderful evening in the steak factory. A few years ago I dined here for work and remembered it very well and it still is that way. We got a nice place, the atmosphere is very cozy and great. The food was absolutely top class, the steaks were on point and the side dishes were delicious and tasty. The only small point is that the garlic bread would have been better warm, but unfortunately it was cold :) The desserts were also absolutely delicious and well prepared. The service was also friendly, attentive and quick. All in all, everything is just right here, and you get a lot for the price.

If you want to eat very well in Augsburg and enjoy great service and a really nice ambience, we highly recommend the steak factory. We definitely spent a wonderful evening here with friends and were completely satisfied.

Wunderbar gegessen und getrunken.

Wir waren nun schon zum wiederholten Male dort. Was das Essen, Service, Freundlichkeit und Ambiente betrifft 5 volle Sterne. Wir hatten beide das Rybeye Steak, .250g..ein Gaumenschmaus . Unsere Freunde welche zum ersten Mal mit dort waren hatten auch ein Rybeye Stesk 350g und die Steakvariation.mit dreierlei Steak...Kobe, Flansteak und Filetsteak..ein Gedicht. Alle Steaks auf den Punkt genau. Wir verstanden uns so gut mit der Bedienung das es zum Schluß für alle einen Espresso und eine Absacker nach Wahl gab, alles aufs Haus. Es ist und bleibt DAS Aushängeschild der Gastronomie!! 100%Weiteremfehlung!

Tolles Restaurant mit sehr schönem Ambiente und ausgezeichneter Küche. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich unseren Kellner von gestern "Yassin". Es war eine wahre Freude von ihm bedient zu werden. Wir haben selten einen Kellner gesehen der mit soviel Herz und Engagement seinen Beruf voller Leidenschaft lebt und so eine kurzweilige, zauberhafte Atmosphäre schafft. Wir kommen mit Sicherheit wieder.

Das Essen war in Ordnung der Service war absolute Katastrophe: Essen wurde Medium Well bestellt -> die Hälfte des Steaks war Medium Rare Ich habe eine andere Soße bestellt dieses wurde mir nie gebracht. Die bestellte Nachspeise wurde mir erst nach erneuter Nachfrage gebracht.
