We visited several times during our vacation this year. The atmosphere is very pleasant. The food – steaks, pizza, and salad – was beyond delicious. My steak had some tendons running through it and was a bit tough, but that's okay. The pepper sauce was excellent. The Bolognese sauce that came with the pizza was also to die for. We would especially like to highlight the restaurant's hospitality and our waitress, Tamara. She is a wonderful person. A heartfelt thank you from both of us.

We ordered a steak, but my husband thought it was too raw, even though he ordered it medium-well. There was a very wide tendon running across my steak, making it impossible to cut through. They apologized and offered a replacement, but the baked potato was cold, and the pepper sauce was thick, mushy, and tasted burnt. I wouldn't recommend it as a steakhouse!

Delicious food. The waiter was a relaxed professional, fast, and friendly. We enjoyed it. We'd go back anytime we're in the area.

I was there with my family. The food and service were truly excellent. The best spaghetti with aioli and garlic pesto I've ever eaten. The only thing that bothered me a bit was the price, but hey, that's probably normal on the Baltic Sea.

The restaurant is right on the pier, so there are a lot of tourists there. Unfortunately, it's often the case in places like this that people just sit back and relax. The food is edible but not outstanding. But the service is really bad. Both waiters who were there were simply unfriendly and noticeably annoyed. When the wrong dish was brought out, the atmosphere was completely ruined. Unfortunately, I really don't recommend it.

Unfortunately, a complete disappointment. We ordered bruschetta for starters... unfortunately, the bread tasted stale, with a lot of olive oil and a few chopped tomatoes on it—it had little to do with bruschetta. A complete disaster for €10 for three slices. Unfortunately, the food was also a complete disaster. The pizza was burnt on the outside and raw on the inside. The cannelloni was also burnt—almost burnt on the outside and the filling was still completely solid. The waitresses were always trying to bring something new, but for us, the meal was ruined. What a shame.

The food is absolutely ok. The waitress however had no clue about the content of the drinks menu. She was impolite and threw the cutlery on the table which was for a pizza, but we ordered pasta. She brought the wrong drink and instead of apologizing and bringing the correct one, she tried to make me accept the drink I didn’t order. Worst service I had in a restaurant for a long time.

I was there last year. Today again, I received a very warm welcome. A free drink was also provided by very friendly staff. A new colleague is behind the counter. She's still a little savvy, but we all started small. The pizzas could be bigger, but I usually have a big appetite. I'm completely satisfied and can only recommend them.

The staff argue among themselves, the bartender spits on the floor behind the bar. The food was initially burnt, the arugula wilted, the order was delivered incorrectly, but after a complaint, new, significantly better meat arrived. As an apology, a greeting from the kitchen. Only the waitress was very friendly and helpful. All in all, unfortunately, not recommended.

We had a very good meal here, and the location on the promenade is very good. The service was quite good and always with a smile or a lighthearted remark. We ordered various meals, all of which were very tasty and plentiful. It would be nice if the smoking area outside could be separated from the non-smoking area. But it wasn't our first time there, and certainly won't be the last 😊

We were told that a reservation was unnecessary. The following day in the restaurant we were offered a seat by the toilet or squashed against a wall. The restaurant was empty, however. Reluctantly we were "approved" of a larger table. The food arrived after 5 minutes. The pasta was overcooked and unsalted. The sauce for both dishes was VERY watery. Anyone can do better at home. Then they forgot the bread, and tips were only given in cash (???). All in all, more of a tourist rip-off than a restaurant. P.S.: When we left the restaurant 45 minutes later, it was still not very busy and the original statement that there were lots of reservations fit the overall picture. Of course you want to make money, but hospitality should not be thrown overboard.

We ate at the Da Camillo Steakhouse-Restaurant-Cafe last night. Unfortunately, there were a few things that weren't so great. We had garlic soup and fresh mushrooms for starters. The soup tasted a bit burnt, and the mushrooms were cold. For the main course, we had pizza and steak. The steak was ordered medium, but it arrived completely cooked, and the pizza wasn't cooked all the way through, so it was basically raw. We then pointed this out to the waiter very politely, because it can happen. He initially claimed it was medium, but it was actually cooked all the way through. Anyway, we were each served a new meal. After about 5-10 minutes, the second meal arrived. This time, the steak was missing the pan-fried vegetables, but it did include the herb butter, which was missing the first time, and the second time, the steak was rare instead of cooked. We also pointed out the missing vegetables to the waiter, and they arrived fairly promptly, but they were different from the first dish. The pizza was cooked through the second time and was OK, but not exactly a highlight. The service was attentive and friendly, but also very chaotic. The prices are very high overall; we paid €80 for two. In summary, we unfortunately wouldn't come back again.

Super nice, very friendly and helpful service. I visit ahlbeck every year, and after trying various restaurants in area, Da Camillo is the only one that never disappoints. Their pizza is amazing, and quality of steak is always A+ cooked to perfection.

The portions are simply too small for the price and the taste isn't great, so we had to complain about the schnitzel-like shoe soles. The tables are dirty and the ashtrays are full. Unfortunately, I can't recommend it....

We ate at DaCamillo in Ahlbeck last week. Pros: The pizzas are amazing, the cocktails delicious, and the staff are very attentive and friendly. Cons: -I wouldn't call this a steakhouse. I wanted a medium-rare sirloin steak, but I ended up getting it raw. The wait staff were so busy that I couldn't complain. The herb butter (????) was also completely bland. -We used the reservation function and were told that our request would be reviewed and they would get back to us. That didn't happen; we had to ask whether we could come or not. -We sat outside toward the kitchen, and there was a very strong smell from the sewer, but it was far too busy to be seated anywhere else.

If you go here, you won't go wrong. Highly recommended.

We visited this steakhouse today and had a truly perfect steak. The Mexican stir-fry was also a delight, with plenty of chewy vegetables. Both dishes were visually appealing and tasted truly excellent. The staff was very attentive and friendly. We felt very comfortable and would gladly return.

If you like lukewarm drinks, waiting a long time for your food and payment even when the interior is practically deserted, and you like chaos in what feels like five different languages from the staff, then Da Camillo is the place for you. The food was okay once you finally got what you ordered. The staff at least tried to lighten the chaos in a humorous way, which worked.

Unfortunately, this restaurant isn't recommended; there are much better restaurants in town. Waiting for a server to take your order can take up to 15 minutes, and then another 20 minutes for drinks. The food can take up to 35 minutes after ordering, and then the cutlery and napkins are forgotten, and only after repeated requests are they brought. Even the kids' fries take forever and are brought with the rest of the food. Some of the staff just walk around like idiots. The tables wobble, so you have to put something under the table legs yourself; the seat cushions aren't big enough for all the chairs. We were at this restaurant last year, too, and things haven't improved.

We could have skipped our meal yesterday; the price/performance ratio wasn't justified. When the appetizers arrived, I should have known where the culinary journey was headed. A disappointment for us.

You can go there once, but you can also leave it.

When I wanted to order a pizza with porcini mushrooms, arugula, and prosciutto without the prosciutto, the waitress said it would be difficult to do, as the kitchen doesn't usually do that. I should give my companion the ham, so he'd have "double it." I only realized later that she meant I should pick the ham off the pizza and shove it onto my companion's plate, and I had to explain again that I wanted no meat on my pizza. It worked out with the nick of time; the kitchen must have made it difficult for the wait staff. Nevertheless, the price-performance ratio is severely unbalanced, as is the case in almost all restaurants in this area.

The employee who served us was nice but unfortunately the kitchen took an extremely long time. There were two of us dining there and my partner's starter came 30 minutes before mine. Well, after a long wait the main courses finally arrived. Unfortunately my beef fillet was a bit cold and the broccoli was frozen. On top of that my starter, the cappatio, was a disgrace. For €17.90 it was some ham with a minimal rocket salad. Not even seasoned, nothing. For two people, over €130 was a joke for food of this quality. I don't want to badmouth the staff. It seems to me more like the owner is trying to cut costs at every turn. I honestly say to everyone, save your money and go to the other restaurants nearby, almost all of which are very good.

The food was (sorry) a disgrace. We had ordered lamb chops (medium). What came out were "lamb shoe soles," which were cold, to boot. Friends had ordered fried zander fillets and received some unidentifiable fried fish pieces that tasted of nothing. The food was a complete disaster. The service was another matter. Our waitress was first-class. She was passionate about her job and knew what she was doing. She apologized several times for the kitchen and tried very hard to salvage the evening somehow. The place didn't really deserve such a great waitress. Thank you for that.

The salmon, however, was very good. It was apparently forgotten, though, and we had to ask a waiter to bring it. The food is always fresh, delicious, and prepared with love. The service is warm, attentive, and very friendly – ​​you immediately feel welcome. We also particularly appreciate the advice when choosing the menu: honest, competent, and always with a keen sense of the guests' tastes. We're already looking forward to our next visit!

It was my first time at Da Camillo—and definitely not my last! My pan-fried dish was simply delicious: perfectly seasoned, the meat incredibly tender and flavorful. The service was also top-notch: very friendly, attentive, and courteous. I'd definitely be back.

Food okay - service inattentive and slow - ambiance okay The food itself isn't bad, but the dishes could have been warmer and more thoroughly cooked. The waitresses took forever to serve us - whether at the beginning or when paying at the end. For the ambiance with a view of the Baltic Sea, you can't go wrong - chairs and tables were okay - no olive oil at the table - no salt and pepper - those are the simple things.

The service was very friendly and quick, but the food was unfortunately not good at all and the value for money was disastrous. My pasta had an undissolved stock cube or leftovers from the pan. I don't know. The meat wasn't medium, but rather shoe-sole rare, and unfortunately, it was cooked on the same grill as the fish, so it tasted dry and fishy. A steakhouse should be able to handle meat.

Super delicious food, one of the tastiest Pizza Mista I've had in years. The pizza dough was divine, and the candelloni with Gorgonzola was simply amazing. The service was very friendly.

We were really craving a good pizza, but unfortunately, we were quite disappointed. The scampi pizza smelled and tasted absolutely fishy. A sign that it wasn't exactly fresh, and it was also completely covered in garlic...inedible!!! Never again!!!

We went there for dinner on Whitsun Sunday with four adults and a toddler. It's advisable to reserve a table in advance, as the restaurant gets busy. The cozy atmosphere and the very friendly, approachable, and attentive staff invite you to stay longer as soon as you enter. The food and drinks arrived quickly. The dishes were very delicious. Summary: An all-round successful evening in a cozy atmosphere with wonderful food and friendly staff. We would gladly return anytime! Thank you very much!

How can you buy goods from Metro in Wolgast when it's 30 degrees Celsius and leave the minced meat out in the sun for over 30 minutes? This is a case for the trade inspectorate and the health department. The van has no refrigeration, and there were no coolers or portable refrigerators in the van. This is completely unacceptable.

We went in because it was raining and wanted to combine it with a drink and a meal. My husband enjoyed the pizza. The bruschetta was so poorly made, with no basil, and the bread wasn't crispy. The accompanying arugula salad was partly brown and unappetizing. The restrooms also need an update.

Once and never again!!! The beef fillet we ordered was a poorly cut piece of steak, dry, tough, and tasteless—not even a fillet. The small mixed salad was a pile of greens carelessly thrown into a small bowl.

Unfortunately, our visit to this restaurant was a huge disappointment. A neighboring table with several children had to wait over two hours for their food – without explanation or apology. A few things went wrong for us as well: Several items in our dishes were simply missing, both at our table and at another. These items were neither refilled nor commented on. What was particularly annoying was that the dishes barely matched what was advertised on the menu. The waitress seemed annoyed and showed no understanding or accommodatingness – there was no apology at all. Overall, a very disappointing experience – neither the service nor the food were convincing. We won't be back.

I can recommend this restaurant. I had the fillet steak and was not disappointed. Crispy on the outside, pink on the inside, perfectly medium rare. I wouldn't recommend the bruschetta; the bread was untoasted and the seasoning wasn't authentic. It's best to skip it. However, I can highly recommend the focaccia. We were there with a group of 8 people, and a table was put together for everyone without prior reservation. Since I have some intolerances, I always have to ask about the ingredients. They had no problem giving me a detailed list. The group then ordered bruschetta as a starter, and since I can't tolerate olive oil, they offered to make me a portion without olive oil. That's excellent service, something I've never experienced before. All the dishes were delicious, and the service was friendly and attentive. I can highly recommend Da Camillo. We ate there at least four times during our vacation. That says a lot. Huge selection of everything. Pizza, steaks, pasta, etc. We had pasta and pizza. It was all very good. There was also a weekly menu with current food. The staff were super friendly. The waiter recognized us the second time and had a really nice chat with us. Very personable. We always got a seat and always went to eat around 5:30 p.m. until about 6:30 p.m. We never booked in advance. Small tables for up to four people, but you could also push the tables together to accommodate several people. We saw this done once and it was done without complaint. The people hadn't booked in advance. The steaks also looked very good. I can only recommend it.

Conclusion: beautiful location, friendly start – but unfortunately a very disappointing visit with poor cuisine and an unconvincing approach to constructive criticism. We recently had dinner here – the seat on the terrace overlooking the sea was truly lovely, and the service initially seemed friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, neither the food nor the rest of the evening confirmed this initial impression. We ordered a starter salad to share and two different pasta dishes – one of us explicitly mentioning lactose intolerance. However, the salad arrived at the same time as the main courses, which was unfortunate, as you had to decide what to start with – especially annoying when the hot dishes are on the table at the same time. The homemade herb dressing, as advertised on the menu, turned out to be a simple balsamic cream. Both pasta dishes – two different preparations – were shockingly bland. We had to repeatedly add more seasoning to get any flavor at all. For an Italian restaurant, this was truly disappointing. In addition, both seafood pasta dishes came with Parmesan cheese – both atypical for the restaurant, and problematic because we had explicitly asked whether the dish was lactose-free. One of the dishes had to be returned. The exchange was friendly, but so quick that it seemed as if only the Parmesan had been removed – which, of course, isn't enough in the case of an intolerance. As it got cooler, I asked for a blanket. The first waitress said she had to check, but then stood visibly outside the restaurant garden, smoking with a colleague, for a good 10-15 minutes. Upon repeated request, another server finally kindly brought me a blanket. Later in the conversation, we were told that the actual chef – the owner's husband – was ill at short notice. We, of course, wish him a speedy recovery and understand that disruptions can happen. But if the kitchen isn't staffed as usual, this should be communicated openly. Alternatively, it would be possible to reduce the menu or clearly state which dishes are actually feasible under these circumstances. Regular evening service without a chef – and thus at the expense of quality – is simply not a viable option for guests who are willing to invest time and money.

Based on the reviews, we visited the restaurant and were thoroughly disappointed. The meat was so dry that it was impossible to chew, even though we ordered it medium. Unfortunately, we had to send it back. None of the three types of meat on the grill were cooked properly. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this restaurant.

You don't need to make a reservation in advance, even if you want to eat there on a Friday at 7 p.m. The waiters are mostly friendly, but we had to wait a long time before we could order. Sometimes people who came after us ordered before us and also received their food. Our waiter was a bit over-the-top in his manner, but still friendly. The food was delicious, the schnitzel is also good there, the pizza was slightly charred in some places, but not bad. What's a bit strange is that you get your food and then have to wait for the cutlery...we observed this at several tables... It was very loud inside, but you can also sit outside if the weather permits. We definitely recommend the restaurant! ☺️

What was planned as a nice evening for two ended in sheer restaurant chaos. Despite reservations, we had to wait and were moved several times - most recently even half expropriated: half of the table was unceremoniously taken away from us. The kitchen? In a hurry without any sense of tact: the starter came hastily, barely two minutes later there were two rump steaks that were supposedly grilled “medium” in front of us – bloody, tough and, in terms of quality, closer to the hip than to the rump. Conclusion: hectic, uncoordinated, overrated. For this price level it's simply a disgrace. Never again.

Food was good. Very crowded and tight. Waiters very nice and accommodating.

I go to a lot of steakhouses and this was the best steak I've ever eaten. The waitress even waited at the table for the cut and asked if the doneness was as ordered. The croquettes are homemade and the fried vegetables were a poem. The ice cream is homemade and was simply excellent. If it hadn't been our last evening, we would have eaten here much more often. I think this place is an absolute insider tip.

We were here today on 04/22/25. We got a table at short notice. Were there 20 minutes later and got the table. Ambiance was good. Music too loud. The restaurant was also well filled. We order tea, wine, bruscetta and the grill plate for 2 people. After about 5 minutes the drinks arrived. After another 5 minutes the grill plates were ready, but Bruscetta was forgotten. No salad. Meat, well, instead of baked potatoes, a halved baked one. No go. The notice was taken and 2 cooked in foil arrived 15 minutes later. By this time the food is either cold or eaten. Too bad! We were told the chef had changed. Who knows. Of all the reviews here, maybe 2 are correct or understandable. Actually, that should be an Argentine. The boss is probably Lebanese and the cook is Italian… whatever. We wish we had drunk a herb somewhere to clean things up, because now we feel a bit queasy in our stomachs. And dear readers, that's not funny. But tastes are different. The drinks were okay. We're not going there anymore!

We had dinner at the Da-Camillo restaurant on Friday evening. It was well attended and the waitress tried to process everything in a structured manner. The sanitary facilities were in a satisfactory condition (1 urinal out of 3 was ready for use —> in need of renovation!) The food menu was ok, there was something for everyone, but if you offer pizza you should also have a Diavolo on it..., my son had a Kinder Schnitzel, big, but flat as the sole of a shoe and dry! He was correspondingly dissatisfied. I had the number 600 hot, spicy pan, which tasted quite good. Come back, I don't know, there are just a lot of average restaurants up here on the coast, whether on the German or Polish side!

Juice shop.........you order a table for 4 people over the phone on Wednesdays as a surprise (with confirmation) and get a rejection by email on Friday evening......if I asked in person, I supposedly wouldn't have made a reservation (cheeky)........they'll never see me again🤮
