I ate very delicious pizza, highly recommended.

An Italian restaurant that not only displays an Italian flag, but where you'll also find a real Italian. Good food and fair prices.

We ate here as a couple and the food was very good, as was the service. However, I'm deducting one star because of the cigarette smell that kept wafting into the restaurant.

My wife and I were visiting Usedom and just wanted to grab a quick takeaway pizza after a long day of hiking. We were told on the phone that the restaurant was actually closing – the cash register was shut, the oven was off. Nevertheless, they asked us to come by. When we arrived, the team fired up the oven again especially for us and even made us a pizza free of charge. And they did it all with such warmth and friendliness that it was truly exceptional. Since we had suffered a family loss just a few days earlier, this gesture was particularly touching and comforting. The pizza was also absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back on our next visit to Usedom – and certainly during regular opening hours, and for a longer time. 😊 Many thanks to the wonderful team!

I wanted to eat a steak. We went in and it looked more like an Italian restaurant. I ordered a steak anyway – a 300g filet – and wasn't disappointed. It was incredibly delicious and tender. 5 stars for that!

We ordered the Argentinian skillet and cannelloni with Gorgonzola to go. The food was really delicious and very well packaged. The only downside is the lack of an online menu. Otherwise, it was top-notch. The staff was also very friendly. We'd love to come back next year! :D

Based on the many positive reviews, we went to 'Da Camillo' today. Our experience was: - The price/performance ratio is poor. For example: tomato soup for €9.90 for a rather meager portion. - The draft beer was cloudy. - The main course arrived within minutes; no fresh dish can be prepared that quickly. - The waiter was friendly. We will not be returning.

It was our first time there, we hadn't made a reservation, and we waited half an hour for a table. The staff was friendly and very attentive. The portions were more than generous, and they even accommodated our special requests. The food arrived quickly and was very good. And to top it all off, we were offered a shot of schnapps.

I went there for dinner with my wife in September 2025. Disaster. My lamb was completely tough. My wife's meat was also incredibly tough and cold. The only thing that was okay were the fries! And the price was outrageous: at €83 for everything, they were the most expensive fries I've ever had. The Caipirinha came with a lemon slice, and the drink was yellow!!!

We were there on the weekend. The service was obviously quite busy. The waiter was very nice, the waitress not so much. Due to a food intolerance, we had requested that some ingredients be omitted or substituted, but this was unfortunately ignored. The meal was therefore uneatable, and we declined to try it again as it would have been too risky. It was a shame that a simple request couldn't be fulfilled. Spaghetti aglio olio without chili peppers, but with crab, isn't unusual in our opinion, especially since crab was on the menu. Unfortunately, one of the two people couldn't eat anything. We won't be coming back and can't recommend it to anyone. The other dish was perfectly fine, the steak was good. What we missed here, and are familiar with from our region, was a small amuse-bouche or a digestif, neither of which was offered to us. Overall, therefore, it's more geared towards tourists on the promenade.

We made a reservation in advance—which was a good thing, because it was very busy later in the evening, and many people were waiting for a table. Ladies get a 30% discount on all cocktails. We had pizza bread with Gorgonzola as a starter—highly recommended. Service was generally very good and very friendly. The interior is very cramped; we actually wanted to bring our dog, but she wasn't allowed inside. Later, however, a large group with a large, white German Shepherd entered the restaurant... okay...

We've been to Da Camillo twice already, and we enjoyed our meal each time. Unfortunately, Ahlbeck was very busy on the weekend, and it was difficult to get a table for dinner. But the friendly waitress at Da Camillo tried everything to help us quickly, and in a really friendly manner. They weren't responsible for the wait. The food was excellent, whether it was pasta or steak, we were thrilled. The staff served us very friendly, and we really enjoyed the atmosphere. We'd be happy to come back.

We discovered this restaurant on our weekend trip to Ahlbeck. It's not particularly large, which is why there aren't many tables, but that wasn't a problem in itself. We didn't make a reservation the first evening, but they didn't turn us away right away. We were able to wait for a free table. The second day, we were there in the afternoon, and everything was free, so we got a table right away. The waiters were very nice and friendly. The food was good, and you could save another 30% on cocktails with a ladies-only discount, which was also very good. The ambiance suited the restaurant and looked very nice 😊 Some of the tables are a bit wobbly, but that's just complaining at a high level. It's definitely busy in the evenings, so you have to expect some noise and scurrying waiters 🤗 But all in all, we were definitely satisfied – otherwise, we wouldn't have gone there twice.

Good portions. I had tagliatelle with salmon...also very good, but there were a good number of red peppercorns on the dish, which weren't mentioned on the menu. It didn't really suit my taste.

From the moment you enter, you feel the warm, inviting atmosphere – almost as if you were being invited to dinner by a friend. The service was attentive, warm, and yet pleasantly unobtrusive. You immediately notice: Hospitality is still a top priority here! Tamara is the perfect host! The food? A dream! Authentic Italian, prepared with love, and of the highest quality. The pasta was perfectly al dente, the sauces aromatic and delicately balanced, and the pizzas came crispy from the stone oven – just as they should be. The wine selection is also impressive, and the house recommendations, in particular, complement the dishes wonderfully. We would especially like to emphasize the excellent value for money. If you're vacationing in Ahlbeck or on Usedom, you shouldn't miss Da Camillo. For us, this is definitely one of the best Italian restaurants in the region – we will definitely be back!

We visited several times during our vacation this year. The atmosphere is very pleasant. The food – steaks, pizza, and salad – was beyond delicious. My steak had some tendons running through it and was a bit tough, but that's okay. The pepper sauce was excellent. The Bolognese sauce that came with the pizza was also to die for. We would especially like to highlight the restaurant's hospitality and our waitress, Tamara. She is a wonderful person. A heartfelt thank you from both of us.

We ordered a steak, but my husband thought it was too raw, even though he ordered it medium-well. There was a very wide tendon running across my steak, making it impossible to cut through. They apologized and offered a replacement, but the baked potato was cold, and the pepper sauce was thick, mushy, and tasted burnt. I wouldn't recommend it as a steakhouse!

The restaurant is right on the pier, so there are a lot of tourists there. Unfortunately, it's often the case in places like this that people just sit back and relax. The food is edible but not outstanding. But the service is really bad. Both waiters who were there were simply unfriendly and noticeably annoyed. When the wrong dish was brought out, the atmosphere was completely ruined. Unfortunately, I really don't recommend it.

Unfortunately, a complete disappointment. We ordered bruschetta for starters... unfortunately, the bread tasted stale, with a lot of olive oil and a few chopped tomatoes on it—it had little to do with bruschetta. The food is absolutely ok. The waitress however had no clue about the content of the drinks menu. She was impolite and threw the cutlery on the table which was for a pizza, but we ordered pasta. She brought the wrong drink and instead of apologizing and bringing the correct one, she tried to make me accept the drink I didn’t order. Worst service I had in a restaurant for a long time.

I was there last year. Today again, I received a very warm welcome. A free drink was also provided by very friendly staff. A new colleague is behind the counter. She's still a little savvy, but we all started small. The pizzas could be bigger, but I usually have a big appetite. I'm completely satisfied and can only recommend them.

The staff argue among themselves, the bartender spits on the floor behind the bar. The food was initially burnt, the arugula wilted, the order was delivered incorrectly, but after a complaint, new, significantly better meat arrived. As an apology, a greeting from the kitchen. Only the waitress was very friendly and helpful. All in all, unfortunately, not recommended.

We had a very good meal here, and the location on the promenade is very good. The service was quite good and always with a smile or a lighthearted remark. We ordered various meals, all of which were very tasty and plentiful. It would be nice if the smoking area outside could be separated from the non-smoking area. But it wasn't our first time there, and certainly won't be the last 😊

We were told that a reservation was unnecessary. The following day in the restaurant we were offered a seat by the toilet or squashed against a wall. The restaurant was empty, however. Reluctantly we were "approved" of a larger table. The food arrived after 5 minutes. The pasta was overcooked and unsalted. The sauce for both dishes was VERY watery. Anyone can do better at home. Then they forgot the bread, and tips were only given in cash (???). All in all, more of a tourist rip-off than a restaurant. P.S.: When we left the restaurant 45 minutes later, it was still not very busy and the original statement that there were lots of reservations fit the overall picture. Of course you want to make money, but hospitality should not be thrown overboard.

We ate at the Da Camillo Steakhouse-Restaurant-Cafe last night. Unfortunately, there were a few things that weren't so great. We had garlic soup and fresh mushrooms for starters. The soup tasted a bit burnt, and the mushrooms were cold. For the main course, we had pizza and steak. The steak was ordered medium, but it arrived completely cooked, and the pizza wasn't cooked all the way through, so it was basically raw. We then pointed this out to the waiter very politely, because it can happen. He initially claimed it was medium, but it was actually cooked all the way through. Anyway, we were each served a new meal. After about 5-10 minutes, the second meal arrived. This time, the steak was missing the pan-fried vegetables, but it did include the herb butter, which was missing the first time, and the second time, the steak was rare instead of cooked. We also pointed out the missing vegetables to the waiter, and they arrived fairly promptly, but they were different from the first dish. The pizza was cooked through the second time and was OK, but not exactly a highlight. The service was attentive and friendly, but also very chaotic. The prices are very high overall; we paid €80 for two. In summary, we unfortunately wouldn't come back again.

We ate at DaCamillo in Ahlbeck last week. Pros: The pizzas are amazing, the cocktails delicious, and the staff are very attentive and friendly. Cons: -I wouldn't call this a steakhouse. I wanted a medium-rare sirloin steak, but I ended up getting it raw. The wait staff were so busy that I couldn't complain. The herb butter (????) was also completely bland. -We used the reservation function and were told that our request would be reviewed and they would get back to us. That didn't happen; we had to ask whether we could come or not. -We sat outside toward the kitchen, and there was a very strong smell from the sewer, but it was far too busy to be seated anywhere else.

We visited this steakhouse today and had a truly perfect steak. The Mexican stir-fry was also a delight, with plenty of chewy vegetables. Both dishes were visually appealing and tasted truly excellent. The staff was very attentive and friendly. We felt very comfortable and would gladly return.

If you go here, you won't go wrong. Highly recommended.

If you like lukewarm drinks, waiting a long time for your food and payment even when the interior is practically deserted, and you like chaos in what feels like five different languages from the staff, then Da Camillo is the place for you. The food was okay once you finally got what you ordered. The staff at least tried to lighten the chaos in a humorous way, which worked.

Unfortunately, this restaurant isn't recommended; there are much better restaurants in town. Waiting for a server to take your order can take up to 15 minutes, and then another 20 minutes for drinks. The food can take up to 35 minutes after ordering, and then the cutlery and napkins are forgotten, and only after repeated requests are they brought. Even the kids' fries take forever and are brought with the rest of the food. Some of the staff just walk around like idiots. The tables wobble, so you have to put something under the table legs yourself; the seat cushions aren't big enough for all the chairs. We were at this restaurant last year, too, and things haven't improved.

You can go there once, but you can also leave it.

When I wanted to order a pizza with porcini mushrooms, arugula, and prosciutto without the prosciutto, the waitress said it would be difficult to do, as the kitchen doesn't usually do that. I should give my companion the ham, so he'd have "double it." I only realized later that she meant I should pick the ham off the pizza and shove it onto my companion's plate, and I had to explain again that I wanted no meat on my pizza. It worked out with the nick of time; the kitchen must have made it difficult for the wait staff. Nevertheless, the price-performance ratio is severely unbalanced, as is the case in almost all restaurants in this area.

The employee who served us was nice but unfortunately the kitchen took an extremely long time. There were two of us dining there and my partner's starter came 30 minutes before mine. Well, after a long wait the main courses finally arrived. Unfortunately my beef fillet was a bit cold and the broccoli was frozen. On top of that my starter, the cappatio, was a disgrace. For €17.90 it was some ham with a minimal rocket salad. Not even seasoned, nothing. For two people, over €130 was a joke for food of this quality. I don't want to badmouth the staff. It seems to me more like the owner is trying to cut costs at every turn. I honestly say to everyone, save your money and go to the other restaurants nearby, almost all of which are very good.

The food was (sorry) a disgrace. We had ordered lamb chops (medium). What came out were "lamb shoe soles," which were cold, to boot. Friends had ordered fried zander fillets and received some unidentifiable fried fish pieces that tasted of nothing. The food was a complete disaster. The service was another matter. Our waitress was first-class. She was passionate about her job and knew what she was doing. She apologized several times for the kitchen and tried very hard to salvage the evening somehow. The place didn't really deserve such a great waitress. Thank you for that.

The salmon, however, was very good. It was apparently forgotten, though, and we had to ask a waiter to bring it. Perhaps the kitchen was having a bad day—the other reviews seemed to like the restaurant. The service was otherwise pleasant. Overall, not really recommended.

The waitresses took forever to serve us - whether at the beginning or when paying at the end. For the ambiance with a view of the Baltic Sea, you can't go wrong - chairs and tables were okay - no olive oil at the table - no salt and pepper - those are the simple things.

We were really craving a good pizza, but unfortunately, we were quite disappointed. The scampi pizza smelled and tasted absolutely fishy. A sign that it wasn't exactly fresh, and it was also completely covered in garlic...inedible!!! Never again!!!

We went there for dinner on Whitsun Sunday with four adults and a toddler. It's advisable to reserve a table in advance, as the restaurant gets busy. How can you buy goods from Metro in Wolgast when it's 30 degrees Celsius and leave the minced meat out in the sun for over 30 minutes? This is a case for the trade inspectorate and the health department. The van has no refrigeration, and there were no coolers or portable refrigerators in the van. This is completely unacceptable.
