The food was OK, rum stick with fried potatoes, the service was impeccable and even small requests were catered for. Personally, I think the rooms are too small for the number of people there, everything was very cramped.

We happened to be there a few years ago and were pleasantly surprised. Because of our good experience, we made a slight detour and went back for dinner, this time with our toddler. We were not disappointed; the service was a 12 out of 10! We were asked if we wanted the fries without salt for our little one, and he was given a small fork to eat with. Now that's what I call attentive service! The food is incredibly delicious, and the ambiance allows you to briefly forget the stresses of everyday life. Thank you so much for your hospitality. If I could, I would give it more stars. We will definitely be back on our next visit to Potsdam!

There were six of us and we received a warm welcome. The food and service were excellent. Compliments to the kitchen and the service team. We had a very pleasant conversation with the waiter from Syria. We were able to easily reserve a table for the next day, even though the restaurant was very fully booked. Thanks again. I visited Mendoza for the first time today. We celebrated my mother's birthday with the family. We received a very warm and courteous welcome and treatment. Our wishes were fulfilled – we felt very comfortable. Everyone could find something delicious on the menu – the food was delicious. The atmosphere in the restaurant was relaxed and casual. Beautiful restaurant, good location, great food - but it all depends on the service! My friend and I have been to Mendoza several times and have mostly been very satisfied. Whether we ordered steaks, burritos, or fish, everything was perfectly prepared, very tasty, and plentiful. The ambiance was also perfect; we found it particularly cozy on the terrace. The reason I'm writing this review is primarily because of how much the restaurant experience depends on the service staff. We had two very friendly and attentive male servers (one younger and one older), who were happy to accommodate our every special request. But then there's also an older waitress who has absolutely no service orientation. She exudes a prim charm, addresses every guest informally, takes a long time to even bring a menu and drinks, favors regulars who arrived later, and forgets orders. Very bad. From the restaurant's perspective, it would be better if the lady sought salvation in the kitchen or in other areas where she has no customer contact.

The wait for the food was short, which was probably due to the fact that we were the first customers. I had steak and fries. Both were delicious. The menu is designed to be allergy-friendly. You can see at a glance which allergens are included. The ambiance is a matter of taste. The cushions on the chairs could be thicker/softer. Otherwise, sitting outside was quite comfortable.

Not for the fancy-pants! But anyone who appreciates warm hospitality will be fully rewarded here! A chili that deserves its name! (As an allergy sufferer, I can still breathe freely through my nose even hours later! 😎👍🏻) And otherwise, the portions were generous and very tasty! Unfortunately, our first visit will be our only visit. On a Wednesday evening, we waited over an hour for our food. I had changed my side order to croquettes, but the standard side dish arrived instead. I don't consider two wilted lettuce leaves a "salad side." One of the pieces of meat tasted of fish, the others were burnt. We ordered medium, and unfortunately, the steak was no longer pink. The pepper sauce was the quality of sauce from a packet. At least my companion was satisfied with the steak. A bonus star is given for the friendliness of the waiter. However, the 80 euros for two people is disproportionate to the (poor) quality of the food delivered. What a shame.

Our questions about the menu were answered competently, and they were happy to take time to accommodate our individual requests. Overall, our evening was a culinary experience in stylish surroundings. We would like to express our sincere gratitude for the hospitality and can recommend this steakhouse without reservation – a place we would gladly return to.

Friendly staff and a quiet location in the Babelsberg district of Potsdam. All the waiters were very friendly and attentive. The food, however, is mediocre. I had a Mendoza pan, which came with three very dry pieces of meat, a few fries, and glazed onions. All that for €24, plus an extra €2 for a small piece of herb butter. The €2 for the butter was only mentioned for the first time on the bill. I would choose a different restaurant next time.

The food is delicious. We had meat and fish dishes, and the fish pan was very tasty. The cocktails are decent (there's a happy hour special). The service is very friendly. Reservations are recommended, especially if you want to sit outside. The prices are a bit expensive.

I had dinner at the Mendoza Restaurant yesterday and was very pleasantly surprised. The staff were very attentive and made every effort to make us feel comfortable. We didn't have to wait long for our drinks, and neither did the food; everything went really well. I had spare ribs, and I can say they were really, really good. The meat was buttery tender, and for a Mexican restaurant, they also had a really good spice level... The evening was perfect... I will definitely visit this restaurant very often.

Nice neighborhood steakhouse with both indoor and outdoor seating. Extensive menu with much to choose from. Steaks were cooked perfectly and we had the nicest servers who treated us very well! Highly recommend this place if you’re in the area!

I found this place through some great Google reviews and decided to give it a try. The steak was amazing and easily one of the best I’ve had in a while. The spinach was surprisingly flavorful and really well prepared. I was a bit disappointed by the Apfelschotle since it didn’t quite hit the mark. The service was great and our waiter was very friendly and made us feel welcome. The only downside was the bathrooms, which could definitely use some improvement. Overall, the experience was fantastic and I would absolutely come back.

We were at the Mendoza in Potsdam today for my partner's 33rd birthday and were absolutely thrilled! Right from the start we were warmly welcomed and surprised with a bruschetta on the house. For the starter we shared the carpaccio – super fresh and tasty. For the main course, I had a perfectly fried fillet steak with fried potatoes, side salad and Béarnaise sauce, while my partner enjoyed his fillet steak with green pepper sauce, potato wedges and green beans with bacon. Everything was excellently prepared and of the best quality. We would particularly like to highlight the service: The waiter was incredibly friendly, attentive and sent us off with an amaretto as a nightcap - also on the house. An all-round successful evening with first-class food and heartwarming service. We'll definitely be back!

Here you will find a great restaurant where you can eat very good steak! Whether English or medium - our fillet steaks were cooked to perfection. The older waiter was simply a model waiter: nice, courteous, proactively gave us tips on suitable accompaniments to the meat and also had a joke on his lips. Here we come again! P.S.: Bruschetta, enough bread and a nightcap were included on the house. Chapeau, you feel really comfortable here!

The steakhouse has the advantage of offering a terrace when the weather is nice, but directly on the sidewalk. Everyone has to decide for themselves whether they like the advantage of fresh air with the disadvantage that every passerby can examine the plate. Just having the choice is good. The waiters are friendly, the waiting time is acceptable, and the price is within the usual local range. I would have liked my sirloin steak not to have been split on the bottom, but if the chef needs this to see whether it's done, I prefer it to getting an unsuitable piece All in all a decent restaurant with small weaknesses

Very tasty meat except once with a taco where the mince was a bit dry... but that was a while ago. Today the meat was perfectly medium as requested and everything was perfect. The Mendoza pan is recommended

We walked a good 6 km from the New Palace to the restaurant. It was worth it! Great attentive service, top fish platter and Argentinian pan with tender strips of beef. Unfortunately we only have one stomach.
