I'm shocked! Did the restaurant in ours bring us such dishes? Burnt fish not intended for steak is sliced ​​(like sashimi). Vegetables are burnt and old. The fish tastes of ash and the taste of old fat. Sauce? This is not sauce!!!! We are simply shocked!

21/09/24 beim Steak House Giovanni müsste man eigentlich negatives hervorheben, damit das Restaurant auch ein echter Geheimtipp bleibt. Aber man findet wohl kaum etwas negatives und ungerecht wäre es auch, denn hier wird man nicht nur mit kulinarischen Köstlichkeiten verwöhnt, sondern auch von einem außergewöhnlich freundlichen Personal umsorgt. Wir sind eher durch einen Zufall auf das Restaurant gestoßen und hatten ein wirklich schönes Dinner. Die Qualität des Essens und das zuvorkommende Personal sind einfach wirklich fantastisch. Also, Fazit: Jederzeit gerne wieder Danke an die Küche und an das Personal und macht weiter so! Wir kommen gern wieder.

We have known the Steakhouse Giovanni for a long time and eat there often and have never been disappointed, neither with the service nor with the quality of the food. Since there were big birthdays coming up this year, we chose this steakhouse and celebrated two big birthdays here on September 14th, 2024 in a wonderful atmosphere with a large group. The entire process was organized as agreed. The service was very, very friendly and constantly made sure that all wishes were fulfilled. The food was super tasty and, although the dishes were ordered à la carte, it was served at the same time, despite the restaurant being full. We had a wonderful evening and everyone was thrilled. Even though the restaurant closes at 11 p.m., no one forced us to leave. Praise to the kitchen and thanks to the entire staff who made this wonderful evening possible for us. We will be back and would be happy to recommend you👍

Delicious food in a cozy atmosphere

The food was delicious, the waiters were very friendly. The ambience was nice. I deducted one point for the plastic tables, unfortunately they peeked out under the tablecloth. And as soon as you stood up and touched the table a little, the oils on the table almost fell over. Otherwise the garden is beautifully landscaped.

As passionate steak eaters, we found the prices a bit high in relation to the quality. We were hoping for a little more. However, the service was really good. The waitress and waiter were very friendly and attentive. Keep it up! They made the best of the location but the situation is simply difficult. The owner can't change that either.

I ordered hamburgers and they are not worth it at all, overcooked and a disastrous proportion of ingredients, the special one has a block of white cheese freshly cut from the tetrabrick, the croquettes were frozen from a bag just like the potatoes to make matters worse, the accompanying potatoes did not suit me They served them for asking for croquettes, plus there was a dead bug in my drink, I give them a 3 because despite everything it was edible. We have here on May 25th. celebrated my husband's seventieth birthday with a large group. At first I thought everything was a little chaotic. But no, the whole process had structure, but was still relaxed, very friendly and accommodating. We had a wonderful afternoon, with very professional and courteous service. Food and atmosphere were great. Only the sanitary facilities are not very pleasant and do not meet expectations. Nevertheless, if you want to eat well and celebrate, this is the place for you.

Really delicious food and friendly staff. The place was busy this time but still quiet, no annoying loud music or traffic noise. Update: Our latest visit was unfortunately really disappointing. We had to wait more than thirty minutes for our drinks, when all other guests (even who arrived later then us) have already served. Later I needed to go inside to the restaurant 2 times to get our last round of drinks. Of course there was no compensation. I am sad to say that but the service this time was very poor. Maybe we had no luck with the waiter.

Food was good, we had pike perch and spaghetti with beef. Service was good, we were there during the week, so it was very empty and we sat outside. It's right on the main street, so you can't give it 5 stars for the ambience.

My problem is the statement that you only go to the restaurant with cash, it's not my fault if the technology doesn't work and instead of solving the problem, the waiter reacts slightly agro and annoyed, which is not okay, his colleague was more open and that's the only reason for service 3 stars and I find it sad that I had to ask for water for my dog ​​and only asked again what I got. The service was very nice and on the ball. There was nothing to complain about. We decided on fillet steaks, one medium and one medium well, unfortunately both cooking points were not met and had to be grilled again. Overall, the entire meal was very neutral. Neutral sauce, neutral fries and we don't even know that there wasn't even a small salad with a €45 steak. In any case, the price/performance ratio is not right for us when it comes to steak. We wouldn't come back again.

The menu contains a varied offering (pasta/pizza/meat/fish) at moderate prices. Our dishes were tasty, the staff was approachable and considerate (we had a wheelchair user with us). There is a disabled-accessible entrance to the terrace (where we sat) and also to the restaurant. Also a toilet. We have been here several times at lunchtime. It's easy to find a place at this time. You should probably make a reservation for the evening. The only thing that is a bit annoying is the street noise, as the restaurant is located right on a busy intersection. But that cannot be influenced. We will be back definitely!

It was the first time there, but definitely not the last time. Prices are a bit high, but it's not your run-of-the-mill Italian either. Great service and incredibly tasty. Mine (grill plate for €34) was a little over the normal price 🤣. Different types of meat, lamb, beef, pork and poultry, on one plate and cooked to perfection for all. And everything was great for my partner and our companion too. Save yourself 3 McDonalds and come here once. 😅 We'd love to come back. 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ It was a really successful evening/birthday.

I can only recommend table reservations. On Friday evening, the restaurant was increasingly filled to the last table. We had to look for our reserved table, My steak, which I ordered medium, could have been on the grill a little longer. A glass was missing from the table of four and a used plate was still on the table. My feeling was therefore uneasy whether the cutlery had not already been used. We've been here several times, but we won't be coming back. The food gets worse from time to time and is no longer justified by the price. This place doesn't deserve the name steakhouse. The ambience is terrible, you sit squeezed somewhere between the display plate and the walkway. There wouldn't even be enough space for half the seats if the normal seating area were used. The waitresses are very friendly, but have something of a commission salesman feel about them. The prices of the dishes are clearly exorbitant for what you get. The pork medallions are only half the size and the potato halves were black. The schnitzel was the size of a potato pancake and the liver was too salty. The pizzas were even more sober.

I announced when I made my reservation that I would be coming with a walker. Nevertheless, the step-free entrance was not free for wheelchair users etc. and people sitting there had to get up to make room for me. The fish wasn't crispy, it was burnt and I sent it back. The apple strudel was not the puff pastry basket advertised, but the normal slice, like in every restaurant. The service ladies tried to ease my anger. Still won't go there again.

Yesterday we visited the steakhouse again after several years and were looking forward to the delicious food. The service was super friendly and forthcoming. Unfortunately, when I ordered the garlic bread, I noticed that it was no longer of the same quality as before. It was rather oily and tasted only of the grated cheese rather than of garlic. When our main course arrived, we were positively amazed at the presentation. The meat was great, but the side dishes were very limited and cold. Unfortunately everything tasted very lightly seasoned or not seasoned at all. On the whole, the visit was unfortunately just okay and the great anticipation faded in retrospect.

Tram stop directly on site. All-round package very good. Thank you very much. We would love to come back. Update 01/14/24: The first review was for a visit. We then celebrated a 75th birthday in the Separé and were treated with a lot of friendliness and fun that day too. We all ordered different things and were all served our dish at the same time. Each one was a delight. We let each other taste it because everything looked very tasty. I would like to thank you for this thoroughly successful evening.

Wir waren am 2. Weihnachtsfeiertag hier essen. Es gab eine kleine aber feine Weihnachtskarte. Die Maronensuppe war sehr lecker und wurde nur getoppt von der Entenbrust mit Rotkohl und Klöße. Es war ein Gaumenschmaus. Das Personal war nett und zuvorkommend. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Wir waren das erstmal dort, der Service super nett, das Essen lecker und gute Portionen. Ambiente gemütlich, wirkt aber etwas eng,für größere Gruppen. Es gibt aber ein extra Raum für mehr Personen falls mal Familien Feier oder Teamfeier. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt.

Tolles Restaurant, super nettes Personal, hier kommen wir gerne wieder, Essen kam für alle gleichzeitig (7 Personen) Dankeschön für die spontane Geburtstagsüberraschung sowie den tollen Wein euer Chef kann stolz auf euch Mädels sein .

Meine Freundin und ich haben dort gegessen und was soll ich sagen... Es war super. Das Steak meiner Freundin war für ihren Geschmack etwas roh, also wollte ich nur nett fragen ob man es noch etwas anbraten könnte. Der Chef hat dann ohne zu zögern gesagt, dass ein neues Stück sofort zubereitet wird und sich noch mit einem Drink aufs Haus entschuldigt! Ansonsten Bedienung top, Ambiente war auch super. Preislich ist es auch voll in Ordnung. Kann ich nur empfehlen!

Wir hatten unsere Firmenweihnachtsfeier dort.....erstes Manko: wir hatten leider einen Tisch im vorderen Bereich ...in der " Zugluft" zwischen beiden Eingangstüren....unsere Getränkebestellung wurde schnell geliefert....auf die kommenden Gänge mussten wir leider jeweils länger warten, obwohl genügend Kellner da waren und das Lokal auch noch nicht überfüllt.....der Hauptgang brauchte gute 30 min , beim Nachtisch fragten wir nach 45 min Wartezeit , ob man uns vergessen hatte....und so war es dann auch.....am schnellsten kam die Rechnung....Essen war ok....( Weihnachtsmenü) ....aber so richtig für sich gewonnen hat das Restaurant uns leider aufgrund des zähen Services nicht....für mich persönlich war dieser Besuch "einmalig".....Danke trotzdem

Wegen Absage unseres Restaurants im Hotel sind wir im Steakhouse Giovanni gelandet. Waren eine Gruppe von 30 Personen. Der Geschäftsführer bereitete uns einen separaten Raum her. Das Essen kam in angemessener Zeit für alle zeitgleich. Absolut fantastisch und super geschmeckt hats auch noch. Die Busfahrerin kam später und bekam in Rekordgeschwindigkeit ihre Spagetti Carbonara. Auch diese waren sehr lecker. Also... wer in Berlin gut essen möchte, in angenehmer Atmosphäre, ist bei Giovanni genau richtig.

Atmosphäre und Essen sind top. Service top top top! Ich komme privat und geschäftlich sehr gerne hier her und auch immer wieder! Tipp: Mehr Werbung machen. Ich glaube fast, dass das Restaurant im Umkreis gar nicht sooo bekannt ist. Schade, weil wirklich gut.

I have repeatedly visited this restaurant with business colleagues and the promise of the best Argantinian steak and New Zealand Lamb fillet in Berlin, and so far never been disappointed. He meat is consistently served exactly as requested. The pasta dishes are also fresh and 'deftig' for those with a good appetite. Friendly service, great food and fair prices.

Preis Leistung passt nicht Essen Kamm in Etappen bis alles da war dauert es 20 Minuten und das Strack war Kalt! Ich würde eingeladen Privat würde ich nicht hier Essen gehen!

Wir waren überrascht um die Ecke so einen guten Laden zu habe und diesen noch nicht besucht zu haben. Nun waren wir zu dritt hier und können den Laden wirklich sehr empfehlen. Das Essen, Ambiente und Service wirklich grossartig. Die Preise sind für den Bezirk ein wenig zu heftig aber andererseits bekommt man auch etwas dafür. Alles in allem ein sehr gelungener Abend und wir kommen wieder, auf jeden Fall.

Hatte als Geburtstag Essen einen größeren Tisch reserviert. Alle haben was zum Essen gefunden und es hat auch allen geschmeckt. Mit Baby war auch gar kein Problem (mehr Infos unter Kinderfreundlichkeit). Sehr nettes Personal und gutes Essen. Da kommt man gerne wieder!
