Amazing steak house, definitely worth it!

Was a guest there twice, both times the food was really very good. The steaks were cooked to perfection, side dishes as well as starters and desserts were also great. Prices are certainly not cheap, but reasonable. Service also very competent and friendly. The only suggestion for improvement: The very extensive menu would have deserved a nicer presentation. Seemed a bit like a careless pile of paper.

We were absolutely thrilled. The staff and especially the boss were incredibly friendly and gave us excellent advice on the choice of dishes with a lot of detailed knowledge. The meat was perfect. In addition, the restaurant has such a good and excellent selection of various types of meat that it lives up to its name as a steakhouse. We will definitely come back.

We were there as a large group for our birthday from 5 p.m., unfortunately it was quite cool inside due to the old building and we were freezing. The decor is very tasteful, rustic both inside and outside. The service was friendly and nice. We ordered a variety of dishes, some of which came a little lukewarm. In addition, the price-performance ratio was right for us with two dishes out of 6. We wouldn't choose the burgers and the fillet steak again because there was no wow effect. Since the side dishes ordered were partly dry (baked potatoes) and the beans in bacon and asparagus (5 sticks for 7-8€) were very little for the high price, I would avoid them in the future. We can recommend the chicken skewer and the lamb, as you can watch some of them being prepared on the grill. The selection of drinks and prices are okay, so the overall value for money is a recommendation for every now and then. The food is also available to take away, but I can't recommend it.

So there is nothing, nothing at all wrong with this restaurant. The service is more than just accommodating, the meat is ON POINT, and of course cut at the table if the number of grams is large and by the chef himself. Excellent drinks selection from good to more than just very good. I've actually been to almost all of the renowned steak houses in the city, and this can easily be considered one of the top 3 in Berlin. 10 out of 10...keep it up

Very good steakhouse in the east of Berlin. The only point of criticism: In my opinion, smoking should also be banned in the open pavilion. The restaurant offers nice places for smokers in the entrance area of ​​the garden. It's just not nice when, as a non-smoker, you enjoy your expensive steak and use all your senses and then cigarette smoke wafts over from the next table. Still 4-5 stars for the restaurant for the nice staff and nice ambience.

Yesterday we were in the restaurant with 13 people and we were all very satisfied. The food was really perfect and the steaks were fantastic. We'll be back.

I recently went there for dinner with a friend. The service is top! The range of food, both meat and everything else too. Unfortunately my friend had to have her fillet returned twice. She wanted medium and unfortunately it was really completely raw. The second attempt didn't really make it any better. That was a real shame in terms of craftsmanship. You won't get a piece of meat like this medium if you fry it super hot again. Then another new piece came that was straight to the point. The quality of the meat was also great. There was no discussion at all from the waiter! I think that's important in a case like this. I don't think something like that happens there regularly. But if so, that's exactly how you should deal with it. We'll definitely be back! There were so many great dishes on the menu. I would like to try some more!

By far one of the best steak restaurants I have ever been to. The staff is absolutely competent and welcoming, as is the ambience of the store In the middle there is a fountain that bubbles in a relaxed manner, away from the noisy city life. The meat!!!! Not comparable, incredibly good and the type of preparation really more than corresponds to your own feelings. Anyone who likes a good piece of meat cannot ignore the forge.

Very bad experience. The conditions were very unsympathetic and not particularly professional. We had to wait almost 2 hours for the main courses. My husband's steak was only warm and consisted of 1/4 fat which had to be trimmed off. The vegetables in my burger were completely burnt. Overall, very bad food for not very cheap prices.

In my opinion, not as surprised as expected. Staff was ok. We had burgers with chicken. The bread was too hard and the chicken too dry for me. Sorry for the review. A week ago I was eating a similar citizen on Konrad-Wolf-Strasse. The chicken was tender and so tasty. The bread was soft and slightly toasted... hmmmmm.

Nice little shop on the outskirts of Berlin. Top selection, nice staff. But steak could be served on a warm plate, otherwise it would cool down too quickly. Not the No. 1 in Berlin but plays in the upper ranks.

We visited this location for the first time. It is somewhat inconspicuous in the "back row" of the street. The first impression of the inside actually surprised me, in contrast to the outside. It is very rustic and cozy, you can sit inside or outside and there is also a winter garden (can be opened or closed). The service was very friendly, accommodating, responded to questions and requests and the operator was also a “cool guy”. All I can say about the price-performance ratio is great. Personally, I'm happy to pay a little more for good quality. I saw many dishes from other guests and they looked very good. Our dish, the grilled skewer for six people, with various types of meat and side dishes (grilled vegetables, various types of fries, bacon-wrapped beans, sauces and herb butter) is also highly recommended. Six people will definitely be fed up here. The dessert tastes very good and the portions are quite large. The sanitary facilities were clean, but on the first floor. All in all, I can highly recommend the location and would be happy to come back.

We have been visiting the Steakschmiede regularly for many years and have always been impressed by how great the food is there. The meat is excellent, the service is super friendly, always in a good mood and very accommodating. I really like the new terrace outside and the ambience inside is stylish, appropriate and beautiful. You can tell that a lot of commitment goes into it. I can only recommend the Steakschmiede. You won't find a better steak or burger. All my friends that I was there with are super happy and really enjoy going there.

I went back to the steak smithy after a long time and was disappointed. The first thing that really bothered me was that you could smoke in the “winter garden” area; as a non-smoker, I find that extremely unpleasant while eating and drinking. The service was definitely better, our waiter seemed very annoyed 😒 The prices are still quite high. The food was okay, but it was also sometimes better. A pity....

Very nice evening for three. Super nice service and a great team with a cool boss. The food was and hopefully remains of a very high standard. And the gin menu is also impressive, great varieties. Update: another very nice experience. This time a burger, by no means classic but brilliant. The meat is medium and has a great beef taste. We were allowed to try a tequila (see photo) Fantastic! One of the best citizen restaurants ever. The citizens are absolute madness. The special burgers are particularly highly recommended. They have a balanced taste and are put together very creatively. The steaks are great, I have nothing to complain about. However, you should stay away from tiramisu. It tasted like crayon and there was a piece of foil in it. It was probably already expired. Service was actually ok, although sometimes unfriendly. It's a shame, I would have liked to come back.

Perfectly grilled steaks, delicious burgers, side dishes that can be put together as desired. No long waiting times. Grilling is a special experience in front of the guests, but there is still no smell of grilling in the restaurant and it is very well ventilated. Nice atmosphere and very nice staff.

Das Steak *Art des Hauses" geht einigermaßen, obwohl der Schinken etwas zadderig war, aber das gegrillte Gemüse - Auberginen, Zucchini und Paprika - war völlig trocken, offenbar ohne einen Tropfen Öl zubereitet. Für den Preis echt eine Frechheit. Schade.

Tolles Fleisch und auch die Beilagen und Desserts sind auf einem Topniveau. Aufmerksamer Service und spektakulär mit dem offenen Grill. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Waren am 5.12.das 2.mal dort. Service war sehr gut. Freundlich,schnell. Das Essen wieder ein Traum!! Steaks auf den Punkt gegrillt, Backkartoffel mit Sauerrahm sehr lecker. Gemüse knackig. Der Burger war such mega. War mehr als es aussah. Wenn unser Budget ausreichen würde,könnten wir öfter vorbeischauen!!! Danke für Tollen Service,Speis und Trank.

Die Karte ist überraschend umfangreich. Das Angebot lässt niemanden zurück. Auch fleischlose Gerichte sind im Angebot. Tolles Ambiente, zuvorkommendes Personal. Die Preise sind der Qualität angemessen!

Gutes Restaurant. Essen top. Aber Vorsicht. Bei dem Parkplatz wird man abgezockt. Die Firma Fair Parken zocken mit hohen Strafen ab. Sofort Strafzelttel. Verstöße werden mit Cams aufgezeichnet. Man dachte die Parkbuchten rechts am Restaurants gehören zum Restaurant. Schwups 25 Euro los. Sehr traurig.

Hallo zusammen, wir waren nun gestern da und ich mache es kurz. Essen perfekt super lecker auf dem Punkt. Service auch super.Jetzt das große aber Ambiente naja Essen gab es im Vorzelt mit Heizlüfter Umweltfreundlich muss sich jeder selbst Frangen. Speisekarte geschmacklos aus dem Drucker auf A4 getackert. Speisereste auf jeder zweiten Seite.Es hat geregnet das Wasser lief in das Zelt wo offene nicht gesicherte Steckdosenleisten auf dem Boden lagen, hier mal ein ganz großes HALLO wo ist hier Sicherheit. Hier sollte mal ganz schnell jemand aufräumen.

Trotz eines vollen Hauses kam das Essen in einer angemessenen Zeit. Und jeder Fleischkenner weiß eigentlich auch das Fleisch ruhen muss. Und das wird hier gemacht. Das Fleisch war Butterzart. Mega lecker. Bis zum nächsten Mal wir kommen wieder.

Ich wollte einen Geburtstag hier feiern und wir wären das erste mal hier gewesen. Aufgrund der bisherigen positive Bewertungen, sah ich keine Gefahr, mal etwas neues auszuprobieren. Da ich das Restaurant über Google gefunden habe und hier eine Reservierungsmöglichkeit online angeboten wurde, aber ich das gerne angenommen und das entsprechende Formular zur Kontaktaufnahme ausgefüllt. Da ich bis zum Reservierungstermin auf Geschäftsreise war, bin ich davon ausgegangen, dass alle klappt und ich nach meiner Rückkehr eine Bestätigung erhalten habe. Tatsächlich habe ich einige Stunden vor meinen Reservierungstermin einen Anruf erhalten, mit der Frage "ob ich hier was über das Internet geschrieben habe, wo keiner von uns draufguckt". "Wir haben keine Email, kein Fax, nur Telefon, sonst nichts und Fleisch , bestes Fleisch ohne Chemie usw." Ich bedankte mich für den Rückruf und bestätige dem Anrufer, dass ich kurzfristig was anderes gefunden habe, die auch diesen "neumodischen" Kram benutzen. Ich dachte, dass ich neben einer nette Location und gutem Essen was tolles gefunden habe, aber wenn sich jemand so gegen die heutzutage üblichen Reservierungsformen verschließt, hat vermutlich eine kurzweilige Überlebensdauer. Ich wünsche weiterhin viele Erfolg und gutes gelingen, sollte ja nicht daran scheitern, dass meine Familie, Freunde und meine Geschäftskollegen nicht zu Ihnen kommen.
