Whenever I've eaten there, my companions always really enjoyed it. The bruschetta tastes almost like in Tuscany, very good quality of the ingredients! The price-performance ratio is right, the Pinot Gris is good to very good, the beer is well tapped, the staff is friendly, fulfills every wish and remains calm, even when their hands are full. The interior of the mill is harmonious, I like it there. Gladly again!

Good German food for a normal price.

We've been to the MM for a long time. We and our guests felt very comfortable and ate very well. Small suggestion: the “porcelain department” should be renovated as soon as possible.

Impossible and outrageous! Registered, reserved and confirmed for 4 people with 2 dogs in this "upscale restaurant", which describes itself as "dog-friendly", we showed up there to eat, but were rudely shouted at in front of the restaurant without greeting us, asking whether we had even made a reservation and because we had a third guest dog with us, they didn't want us in the restaurant. Thank God ! The Mühlrather Hof has opened in the immediate vicinity, we were greeted warmly, the dogs were no problem and we were served very well and ate well. This is how you lose guests, because word of mouth is the best advertising! Never again, one star is still too many.

Super professional food, I haven't eaten so well in a long time. The portion was just right and reasonably priced. Some of the service is still in training. The location is nice, unfortunately when you eat outside you are watched by the waiting guests, which spoils the ambience a bit. Reservation is essential during peak times.

We went here to eat a schnitzel. We thought they tasted great there! All three of our schnitzels were soft and tender, with an excellent crust. Fries were served and you get a plate of salad beforehand. The price is certainly reasonable. Operation is smooth and tidy. The weather was nice, so we were able to sit outside. The Mühlrather Mühle has a beautiful courtyard, where you can relax. Definitely a place to come back to.

Today I wanted to sit on the terrace with my wife at 4 p.m. when the weather was nice. As the restaurant wishes, we waited obediently at the entrance to be “seated”. After a short while we were asked what we would like and I asked for a table for the two of us outside so we could have a drink. The waitress replied that they couldn't seat us outside because of the reservations. We said we would stay for about 30 minutes, but nothing helped: either stay inside or not at all. So we drove straight home without being able to freshen up and leave any money there. Mind you: The terrace had smaller tables everywhere that were unoccupied. About 30% of the tables were occupied. If you don't want guests, you can say so straight away. The restaurant would have been open for another 5 hours. So what was going on with you??? Now I'm sitting at home on my own terrace and drinking an Aperol that I could have had with you. Cheers, to you.

One star is already too many! Worst restaurant I've ever been to. We sat at a table and got really bad food, but we also had to witness a waiter's outrageous discussion with other guests. This is not how you treat guests who speak in a friendly manner. Terrible!

NEVER AGAIN!!! The only thing that can be said about this restaurant is that you should strictly avoid it. We haven't even come to eat yet, we stood on the terrace at 4 p.m. on a beautiful sunny day and waited obediently in front of a sign for us to be escorted to a table. None. After standing for 5 minutes, we sat down at one of the many free tables. (There were only 4 tables occupied. A waiter who came over said he had to reprimand us if we hadn't waited at the front. We explained that we had waited, but no one took care of us and we then sat down. He drove us He said he needed the tables NOW for reservations (4 p.m.? Everything was empty). This was followed by a really absolutely outrageous exchange of words with the restaurant owner. He led him across several tables in the most rude manner from about 10 meters away. Our conclusion about this restaurant: Anyone who behaves like this towards their guests should look for another branch. By the way, as we left we received the approval of other guests.

We drove there from Ratingen today and were not disappointed. The prawn plate is really very tasty and would actually be enough for two people. The outdoor area was very busy today on a Saturday at lunchtime. The service ran smoothly and was always very friendly, even though there were only two waiters on duty. Fresh water was available for dogs. Even those who hadn't made a reservation were assigned a table without any problems after a very short wait.

Very very unfriendly "head waiter" Drinks went like this The pre-bought frozen cevapcici neatly draped on the plate and the pork loin very untasty. We were allowed to order Wait another 30 minutes for the bill. In the end we got to hear from the head waiter that if he had known that we would pay individually, he would not have accepted this reservation, 14 people, and if we don't like what he said, then so be it. When I entered the restaurant I forgot or overlooked that I was assigned a table. There were enough free tables. After I sat down at a table, I also apologized for my “misbehavior”. Nevertheless, as a guest I was ignored and not served.

Went for a walk at Lake Hariksee today and wanted to have a coffee at the Mühlrater Mühle. To be honest, we have never been rejected so unkindly. Went with four adults, one of whom was a 76-year-old lady and an 85-year-old lady in a wheelchair. After an initial wait at the entrance area, the waiter told us that all tables were reserved, but it felt like there were ten tables free, but we could sit inside. At the entrance the boss came and told us that it wouldn't work inside, you wouldn't be able to do it. When we were told that we only wanted to have a coffee, so we would stay for about half an hour, the boss said that there would be no coffee. Honestly, that was the last time I was there. Luckily I can spend my money anywhere. But I don't have to, can't and don't want to tolerate such unfriendly behavior. I hope that the landlord will reconsider his behavior, at the latest when the Mühlrather Hof is open and there is competition. It's sad what's happening to the catering industry here in the corner, lack of staff, increased prices, etc. But to be honest, that's not possible😡

Went for a walk here today and wanted to sit down here afterwards. At the front of the entrance there is a board where you should wait, after we did this for about 15 minutes and the two waiters (older man and younger girl) looked at us several times but there was no other reaction and they just wanted to walk past us we walk towards the many free tables. The waiter then stopped us with a shake of his head. We responded by asking how long it would take until someone came, and the answer was until someone arrived. We then said that we would leave and the waiter replied snidely, "Oh, I'm sad!" Something like that is a disgrace and is no longer worth visiting for us.

But during yesterday's visit (2 people), the terrace wasn't full, we were very rudely expelled from the restaurant because we "just" wanted something to drink. Turning away guests like this doesn't work for me at all.😡😡😡

Unfortunately the price/performance ratio is not right here. Unfortunately, mushroom schnitzel has a sauce that is far too light with no real mushroom taste. The trout was swimming in fat and changing it from fried potatoes to vegetables cost €1.50. The included salad was not brought. We had to wait an hour for our food even though it wasn't really full. Unfortunately none of the three dishes tasted good today. Medallions were tough. Toilet unkempt.

We were there for the first time. There were 4 of us and ate the steak duo twice. On both plates, the thicker of the two pieces of chicken was still raw on the inside. This shouldn't be the case with chicken. The beef steak pieces were medium rare and completely okay. The waiter was friendly. The toilet... well one of the four toilets was completely full... unfortunately that could have been a coincidence that day. But as I said, it was our first visit. I can't say yet whether we'll go again. The rest of the dishes were completely okay. The fries are super tasty.

On offer today: The grill plate for just €19.80. If you order Ajvar and raw onions without replacement, you will pay an EXTRA CHARGE of €1.50 (for NOTHING!). This is our true hospitality. And if you then notice at home (unfortunately only then) that the waiter (who, because of your surprise at the extra charge, explained to you that this is usual when the dishes on the plate are changed) has miscalculated by €2.00 to your disadvantage, If you, out of the goodness of your heart, gave him a tip for his very accommodating service, the evening (whatever your memory may be) will certainly remain unforgettable. P.S.: It's not about the €1.50 per se, it's about business conduct and customer (un)friendliness! Nothing was reordered, but something was canceled without replacement (and even an additional Bernaise sauce was ordered)! For example, if you only practice this 100 times a day, it is an adequate additional income, and you also save on the ingredients that would otherwise have remained on the plate and would have had to be thrown away. Only stupid comments and looks, even if it wasn't at your own table, you could only sit there with your mouth open. If you order more drinks and the waiter says, you could do it earlier, now it takes a whopping 35 minutes for a Fanta. I don't accept sentences like my face and your money separately, they're probably normal. There is a restaurant in America that advertises itself as unfriendly, I think it's the same concept, but it's not communicated like that beforehand🤔

Unfortunately, our most recent visit to this restaurant was marked by disappointing service. While the food tasted good, we couldn't experience the same satisfaction with the staff. The waiters were anything but hospitable and didn't seem to enjoy their work. Her unfriendly comments and lack of helpfulness significantly marred the overall experience. Her behavior towards other guests was particularly annoying, particularly a group of older women who had difficulty placing their orders. Instead of being patient, the waiters were impatient and disrespectful. In addition, they also insulted each other in their own language, which further exacerbated the already unpleasant atmosphere. Although the food met our expectations, I find it difficult to recommend visiting this restaurant again due to the poor customer service. It is unfortunate that such delicious dishes are overshadowed by unprofessional service. Hopefully management can address the staff issues to improve the overall experience for future guests.

The beef smelled and tasted strange, but the salad was ok. The acoustics are a disaster; when it's full you can't understand a word. Then it's no longer relaxing but exhausting. Unfortunately. Maybe it would be better somewhere else, but the big room wouldn't work at all. The price was okay, for 4 people 123€ including drinks is okay. Conclusion: A second attempt should be possible. It could also have been me... not in a good mood or something... The location at Hariksee is also not to be despised.

Nice excursion restaurant on Lake Hariksee. Balkan cuisine, very meat-oriented, only one warm, vegetarian main course - not enough choice for me. Unfortunately, my salmon wasn't fried on the skin side, as it should be, and was therefore fried and more than cooked through. Service very friendly. According to my companions, the meat dishes tasted perfect. The portions are quite large. Price/performance ratio is right. Conclusion: If you like meat, this is the right place for you.

I recently met up with friends here for dinner for the first time. First of all, I have to say that the restaurant might not have been my first choice as a plant-based eater, but there is actually at least something vegetarian on the menu. What I find remarkable for a steakhouse! I ordered side dishes for myself that tasted good. One friend had fish, the other had baked cheese and both women loved it. The desserts were also delicious. Prices for the current time are okay. It is clean, very busy and there was exactly one waitress. This man was very nice, very accommodating, didn't seem stressed at all, despite all the work! The service alone is worth a visit and then there's good food on top of that in an area where other people go on vacation! What more do you need to have a really good time? I recommend this restaurant because they deserve it!

Ate here with company on our way to Düsseldorf. Food was very good. 1 white wine was too sweet for dry wine but the meals were great and value for money. Recommended! Also being able to park comfortably and safely, which is also important.

A lot has changed. The menu outside the restaurant no longer has anything to do with the actual menu. Drinks were only available after multiple orders, the food and drinks were passed across the table and no one felt responsible for the lack of toilet paper and paper towels. We were there for the last time. No amount of great ambience can help.
