If you have to wait 40 minutes for food, warn you about it. After the long wait, the food did not meet our expectations.

Called today and ordered 3 pizzas to pick up. It was simply very good!

That's what happens when you rely on reviews. Ashes on our heads, we live in the neighborhood and didn't dare go to Il Trullo for a long time because some of the reviews were really damning. In short: we will become regular guests from now on and bring all the neighbors with us! Super nice service, food fresh and served quickly, generous portions, very tasty! Sitting outside right on the street is funnier than expected because there's always something going on, inside it's very nicely decorated, we'll try it out in the winter. Once again an example that it is important to make your own judgment and not rely on reviews here. Thank you very much, dear Il Trullo team, we will be back!

The pizza is great...well service is normal if you take it away. Unfortunately you can't speak of ambience there. Resembles a warehouse. Outdoor seating directly on the street. The pizzeria is now nicely furnished and invites you to linger. Great!

We always enjoy coming here. Delicious pizza, pasta is also very tasty. Except for one waitress who is very bad. After asking if she could clear the table, she finally cleared the table. That was a bad temporary assistant

Addendum from July 2024. I noticed that a few things had visibly changed as I drove past. The outside lighting was redesigned and looked friendly and inviting. So go in and get a pizza and see if and what might have happened there. As soon as you entered the restaurant, you could see that a lot had happened inside. A really friendly, cozy atmosphere has been created. Very inviting to eat there too. Service, owner, everything was very friendly and accommodating. Great. So first we took pizza with us, next time we went there to eat. The pizza, very tasty. Good fresh toppings, great dough, crispy, a completely delicious pizza. I have to say, a complete turnaround from my first review. At the time I thought it was terrible. Simply GREAT today. My recommendation is not just to get pizza or other Italian food, but also to go there and have a nice evening. So now a full 5 stars from me in all respects Of course we had to visit this pizzeria in Niederkrüchten-Elmpt at some point, especially after the many good reviews here. It is the youngest pizzeria to open here. Unfortunately, I can't agree with the often exuberant reviews here. Why not? When you enter the premises, you are greeted by a partially tiled and almost white guest room with, sorry, plastic garden furniture. Quite ok for outside, but for this quite large guest room, it's not very inviting or hardly inviting to linger. But these are just appearances and contribute little to the evaluation of the pizza. Two different pizzas were ordered. One 1:1 from the extensive menu, another with an additional ingredient. What was striking here was that if you order this pizza with main ingredient A and additional ingredient B, then this A = €5 plus extra ingredient B = €1 costs a total of €6. If you order the other way around, i.e. main ingredient B then €4 plus additional ingredient A plus €1 = €5. Was for a mini pizza. We asked why that happened, whereupon we explained that there was more of the main ingredient on the pizza. Mmm, well. This criterion is also not included in the evaluation. Now let's get to the finished pizzas. The tomato base was unseasoned and seemed very thin. The surface overall was okay. Took the finished pizzas with us. We actually wanted to feast at home, the pizza had been cut in the shop, which is how it was supposed to be. But honestly, how can you cut like that? Instead of a more or less uniform star shape, there was a mangled monotony with a completely displaced surface. The "pie slices" in a width of 2 centimeters to a maximum of a third of the entire pizza. The edge was ok, but everything else was far too soft, wet, mushy and without any seasoning and unfortunately without any real taste. I'm sorry, that was nothing! Will test again in the foreseeable future and hope for improvement. With this level of experience, all other pizza makers in Elmpt are better. April 2019 - it has now become warmer and since it was said during the first visit that there would soon be ice, a test was announced today. Right at the entrance is the ice cream counter with various types of ice cream. What was immediately noticeable was that on some fresh ice cream containers there was a misshapen lump on top of the fresh ice cream, from the well-scraped out ice cream mold of the same flavor that was replaced with the fresh ice cream. Unfortunately, you also got exactly that leftover, e.g. vanilla, strawberry and banana. Honestly, an absurdity! Mushy lumps in the ice cream ball with a rather slimy consistency. At first I thought, oh, real fruit, but unfortunately I was far from it. Taste was musty, sorry, disgusting. Had to dispose of the ice outside. It really wasn't edible. It may be that the fresh ice cream tastes better, but unfortunately I didn't have any of it. At a price of one euro per ball, I can't award any points here. I've never had to experience ice cream like this before. Too bad that was nothing again!

A pizzeria that we no longer visit. Tables are only cleaned when requested. Waited for 1 hour. Those picking up were served faster. Staff took the order incorrectly. My salad had a lot of cheese but only found one artichoke, everything was unbearable.

Rarely eaten worse. The only praiseworthy thing is the friendly service. I had cannelloni with porcini mushrooms. Sorry, but this should taste like pasta with mushrooms and not indefinably sour. I had it returned. My wife had gnocci with tomato sauce and mozzarella. It looked untouched, like it had been eaten before. The pizza we also ordered was okay and the cannelloni was also mediocre. Once and never again!

We frequent this restaurant regularly, with my most recent visit being on Thursday afternoon. As usual, the food was quite impressive: the pizza was a solid 10 out of 10, the lasagne earned a respectable 7 out of 10, and the spaghetti carbonara, although not exceptional, was a 5 out of 10. Now, onto the real reason for this review: the service. Our waitress, unfortunately, seemed to be having a particularly rough day. She was noticeably unfriendly, constantly complaining about the hot weather as though we had control over the climate. The drinks were a saga in themselves. Despite ordering them promptly, I had to remind her not once, but twice before they finally arrived. When we requested an ashtray, it never made an appearance. Throughout the meal, she continued to whine incessantly. I finally had to remind her that we were there to enjoy our food and have a pleasant time, not to endure a one-woman performance of “The Trials of Summer Heat.” The pinnacle of this experience was when we asked for some water for our dogs. Her response? “Go to the toilet and get some by yourself.” A touching display of hospitality, indeed. I sincerely hope this was just an off day for her, and that on our next visit, we will be met with the respect and politeness that this establishment typically upholds.

Unfortunately bad experience. The service was great, but at first we had to wait 2 hours for the food, after which burnt sandwiches arrived and you could find the schnitzel under the sauce. If he had offered us a new schnitzel, nothing would have happened. Chef stuck to his guns and was very unfriendly and we're not even going to get started on the croquettes, so limp and unedible.

The food wasn't that tasty, there was too much cheese and the bottom was black. The service is terrible and we had to wait 40 minutes until they started preparing it. The pizzas were also prepared where you touch the ingredients by hand without any hygiene regulations and I find that very disgusting on my part and forgives my appetite. You can't give this more than one star.

Got pizzas here for the first time today and I have to say, this is an original Neapolitan pizza dough, the topping on the Margaritha is tomato sauce and cheese and then I read in the menu that there is a Pizza Capri where it says -> mozzarella/tomato sauce/basil then I ask myself as an Italian, what's the point??? That's a Margaritha in Italy, well otherwise the pizza is delicious, I'll definitely get pizza there again.

Also das Essen war super und konnte man genieße. Der Service Katastrophe. Wir kamen rein und keine begrüßte uns. Tür blieb offen und es war richtig kalt. Wir haben 1 Stunde gewartet obwohl wir nur zu dritt im ganzem Restaurant waren. Eine Dame kam rein und hat nach uns bestellt, sie bekam ihr Essen lange vorher. Lieferservice wäre eventuell schneller gewesen. Wir kommen leider nicht mehr. Schade, aber es lohnt sich nicht so lange zu warten.

Hier gibt es wirklich sehr leckere Pizzen. Egal was ich je bestellt habe alles hat gut geschmeckt und war qualitativ hochwertig. Das Lokal ist leider nicht so schön. Dort essen kann ich nicht empfehlen. Personal ist immer Recht freundlich.

Wir kommen dort sehr gerne. Es gibt reichlich auswahl und was wir bis jetzt probiert haben war immer sehr lecker. Alles wird frisch vorbereitet und es gibt eine offene Küche, so etwas wirkt sehr vertrauenswürdig! Es geht um das Essen und nicht so sehr um die Ambiente zum sitzen! Gute Italienische Küche für einen guten Preis. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Zum empfhelen für kleinen und großen hunger.

Heute das erste mal bei Il Trullo gegessen. Standartbestellung: Pizza Salami mit Sardellen, super belegt, Boden knusprig, Rand fluffig. Super lecker. Meine Frau bestellte Spagetti Speziale, Garnelen, Gambas usw. Wau, was für eine Portion. Die Gambas und Garnelen waren nicht abgezählt. Auch super lecker. Service sehr freundlich, Preisleistungsverhältnis top.

Beste Pizza in elmpt und Umkreis. Da gehe ich als fauler Mensch sogar persönlich hin und hole sie ab. Die Pizzen sind immer in 10 bis 20 Minuten fertig und schmecken richtig geil.

Sehr lecker. Kurze Wartezeiten. Am besten vorbestellen. Es gibt eine große Auswahl an verschiedenen Speisen. Die Pizza gibt es in verschiedenen Größen. Eine Sitzmöglichkeiten ist vorhanden. Getränke werden gekühlt serviert. Im Sommer kann auch noch Eis gekauft werden. Geschmacklich aber nicht so der Hit. Aber den Kindern schmeckt es.

Zum ersten Mal eine Pizza bestellt. Der Teig war perfekt. Nicht mit Tomatensoße überladen. Belag frisch und lecker. Gerne wieder.

Einfache Pizzeria. Pizza war OK, hatte aber für meinen Geschmack zu viel Käse. Dafür war sie sehr schnell fertig.

Leider muss ich nun 2 Sterne abziehen. 😕 Die Preise sind nun echt krass gestiegen. Es ist alles teurer geworden, ja... Aber das kann man für diese nun extremen Preise nicht als Grund akzeptieren. Leider jetzt völlig überzogen. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼 Super leckeres italienisches Essen, egal ob Pizza, Nudel Gerichte oder andere Speisen. Sehr nette italienische Familie, immer freundlich... Kann man nur uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen... 👍 🇮🇹

Da bin ich dann komplett raus so Leid es mir tut aber das geht nich selbst bei den gestiegenen Kosten ... für das selbe Geld bekommt man 2 Leute satt vollgestopft beim Griechen und hat noch Geld über ... Geht beim besten Willen nicht mehr klar echt Schade.... Wie gesagt Geschmack und die Ware alles TipTop aber die Preise ?! echt nich da bleibt mir das Essen im Hals stecken sorry ...

Die beste Pizzeria im ganzen Umkreis! Hier werden frische Zutaten mit definitiv höherer Qualität verarbeitet, die man schmecken kann. Sehr freundliches Personal und ein extrem netter authentischer Chef, der sich bei der Zubereitung der Pizzen immer sehr viel Mühe gibt. 🍕 Leider kein Lieferservice. Für das leckere Essen lohnt sich aber die, auch etwas weitere, Fahrt. ☺️ Wir haben schon verschiedene Gerichte und auch Nachtisch probiert und waren bisher immer total satt und zufrieden. Auch wenn das Ambiente des Restaurants ausbaufähig ist, dennoch eine ganz klare Empfehlung! 👍🏻

Pizza was matig van smaak. Sfeer wordt bepaald door 8 grote tl verlichting er was absoluut geen moeite gedaan om het gezellig te maken. Was eerder ongezellig. Kan mij niet herinneren dat ik ooit in zo ongezellige eet gelegenheid ben geweest
