Steakhaus Madero in Bad Saarow

We were really looking forward to the evening and the visit to the restaurant. But even when ordering, the staff was overwhelmed with the special request for a vinegar and oil dressing responded rudely. The drinks and dishes came very quickly, but that was all there was to good service. The Lambrusco was sour, the salad came without any dressing and the fries without ketchup. Only when asked was it explained that the ketchup had run out. Spiced ketchup was offered as an alternative. One employee reacted to criticism with laughter and the other could not hide his disappointment at not receiving a tip. No regrets, no apologies. Unfortunately we cannot make a recommendation. The only thing that lived up to expectations was the beer.

0 points!! Service impossible. Food was just warmed up. Spare ribs should have “spicy” sauce. These were served with curry ketchup. The complaint was responded to in a very unfriendly manner and ketchup was offered as a solution. Mayonnaise was ordered to accompany the fries on offer, which were thrown on the table in two individual bags for two people. No more eye contact, no reaction. Nothing!! We have never been served like this before

The restaurant had a decent menu but two of us from a group of three were very disappointed with our food. We had a Schnitzel and also Fajitas. The Schnitzel was very dry. The Fajitas didn’t come with guacamole or sour cream nor other garnishes you expect. We had a terrible waiter who was impolite and not open to the concept of altering a dish slightly due to a customers preference. I wouldn’t go back.

During our vacation in Bad Saarow we spontaneously had dinner at the Maatouk steakhouse. Since the weather was nice, we took a seat on the terrace. We were served quickly and very friendly. We chose the “ribs BBQ” and the “mixed grill plate” dishes. We enjoyed both dishes and had nothing to complain about. The price/performance ratio is absolutely fine. We would definitely eat there again. We decided on an honest 4 star review, saying that the food was good but not outstanding.

Very tasty food. It was very crowded, but we managed to get a seat and didn't have to wait long for our food. It's a shame we didn't get a nightcap. There was something at the Nschbar table, but our bill was probably too low.

We had an excellent meal here. The Mexico steak with runner beans was very good. I ate a beef fillet skewer with French fries. The fillet pieces were very large and excellently fried. It's been a long time since I ordered a beef skewer that was so well fried.

We stayed here during a WE vacation on the recommendation of our landlord. Reserved by phone: according to the waiter only a table for inside, fortunately we got a table in the beer garden upon arrival. Order was taken quickly, drinks and food were served quickly. However, they didn't wait until we had distorted our starters. The waiter was friendly, but somehow didn't have a real overview. The garlic bread was very dry. The meat dishes are completely unseasoned, and there is no salt/pepper shaker on the table to help. For my steak extra coarse pepper 1.50€ (which should of course be part of it in a steakhouse). Unfortunately, the sauces are all ready-made sauces with a lot of mayo😕. Hardly any dressing in the salad. All in all we were disappointed with the food.

After half an hour still no order taken. Then we left again. Staff not overly friendly. Reservation was apparently irrelevant. Despite the obvious overload, they still let new guests in.

Food was really tasty. Only the toilet wasn't cleaned for a month. But I don't understand how you can leave them like that as a guest.

After an hour the drinks arrived; the food after another half hour. The staff seems to think it's normal and don't even think an apology is appropriate.

We spontaneously went to eat here because the menu initially sounded very appealing. But appearances are deceiving. The waiters were listless and not particularly polite. One of them was smoking at the entrance to the bar. When the drinks came, the beer mats were thrown onto the table almost snidely. The food, despite the simple instructions, was a disappointment: we ordered grilled skewers, à la carte with peppers and onions, and French fries as a side dish. The skewer had no less than 2 tiny strips of pepper, the onion was almost black. The fries were soggy and completely unseasoned. The dip came on a single lettuce leaf and despite the rich color it just tastes sour. All in all not recommended.

We were there in a larger group and it was reserved. The space at the table for us was big enough. The first drink order took a little long and when the drinks came, the foam on the beer had collapsed. The second drink order had ice cubes in a rosé wine that were not ordered. When it came to eating, things went faster and everyone got what they ordered. I had the Mix Grill, a good portion, very tasty and the price was OK. Everyone else was happy with their food too.

We ate at the Maatouk steakhouse as a large family. The tables both outside and inside were almost completely full. We went in with good feelings and unfortunately left the restaurant with mostly bad experiences. The first order of drinks worked perfectly. The food mostly tasted good. Unfortunately, the side dish was served much later, so the main course was almost completely cooled down. When asked about reheating the food, the waiter rolled his eyes in annoyance. While a while passed and we placed our second drink order, time clearly passed and everyone had an empty glass in front of them. We asked the waiter about it again and the wrong drinks were brought to us. Overall we were happy with the food and especially the ambience. However, the service was not what you would expect in a good restaurant.

Just take a short break at 35 degrees! Our Aperol was warm, the Prosecco was not carbonated, the glasses were dirty with lipstick. The terrace is dirty, the tables are full of leftover food. The staff doesn't feel responsible and stands around at the counter. But the worst are the toilets. And that actually says everything about the hygiene practiced in this restaurant.

Great steakhouse. We were here as a family of 13 people. When the weather is good, like it is here, it's wonderful to sit outside under the umbrellas. The food was very, very tasty. Everyone enjoyed your food, which is saying something. We will definitely go here again.

Delicious food, friendly staff, nice atmosphere

We heard about the steakhouse from friends. I had lamb and my husband had ribs, everything had flavor although my husband's ribs were very dark but not burnt. The price was okay. Nice service and good ambience. Finding a parking space on weekdays is definitely more difficult than on weekends because the train station is next to it.

We ordered a table at 7 p.m. and when we arrived there was "no table available". Those in front of us didn't make a reservation and got one. Why do I make a reservation if there's "nothing available"? The waiter wasn't interested in the reservation and said with a cheeky grin that we should wait until something was available. In general he had a really cheeky manner, which is not how you treat guests in my opinion. We left and ate somewhere else, I can only advise against this "restaurant".

Have reserved a table for 7 p.m. When we arrived to eat, we were greeted extremely unfriendly and told to wait because there was no table available yet. He wasn't interested in the fact that I told the waiter that we had made a reservation at 7 p.m. He insisted that we should wait. I mean what's the point of making a reservation if we're supposed to wait for a table? When asked, the waiter said it was "only 5 minutes", and he also had this unfriendly, cheeky tone the whole time and a grin to match. I've never experienced anything like that, since when do you treat guests like that?? We left without eating, such behavior is unacceptable

The steaks were well prepared, good value for money

A friend of ours who lives in Bad Saarow had booked us a table there because she was there often. At the beginning everything was OK. We ordered our food and I asked if I could have mine without pepper, the answer was yes. When the food came the first thing I saw was pepper. The waiter grumpily took the menu back and when he came back he said it was gone and I should order something else. No sooner said than done, I ordered Camembert. I got a whopping 1 bland cheese with some cranberries for €7. Our friend who had eaten this several times was also shocked. Actually she says it's 2 with cranberries and cream with tost bread. Our side salad was not brought as ordered but was listed on the bill. I then took the liberty of complaining about this and he grumpily took it off. It's a shame once and never again.

We were here for the third time today and have never been disappointed. But today, different staff, the nice, friendly waiter was unfortunately not there, which you noticed straight away, not friendlier than necessary, the wrong food was given, which was exchanged but the reaction was visibly annoyed by the waiter... Salad quite watered down. To make matters worse, we were quite surprised when guests sat down in the middle of the restaurant with their dog; the weather was nice, so they could have sat outside without any problems. A dog simply does not belong in a restaurant. However, the operators ignored this. What hygiene would say about this is questionable. In the future we will prefer to use the numerous alternatives in the area.

Unfortunately, it's very noticeable when the boss isn't there. The service is simply bad, unfriendly and not future-oriented! Mistakes are not admitted, contradictions are made and incorrectly served things are preferred to be ignored - à la "The customer should eat what was served, regardless of whether it was ordered!" 🙄 I've eaten here several times in the last 2 years and brought different/several people with me, sometimes just the two of us, sometimes a group of up to 7 people. Most of the time we were happy and gave good tips, and the boss was always there too. So far, steaks haven't even had the desired cooking point - if you order "medium", you don't want "rare" - or the salad was sandy and is nothing special (!) or the plate was made with a particular highlight of a family member's lactose intolerance still full of lactose products. 🙈 Well... everything else was sorted out, but on July 14th. One employee in particular made us miss this restaurant. Why? 2 different fajitas dishes were too salty, despite having canceled the champions, the dish was full of mushrooms, hardly any other vegetables, the tortillas were only half as much as usual (I definitely wasn't full this time), and the fajitas pans were brimming with oil; all the salads at the table were sandy; the baked potato was old and didn't taste good; Fries were soggy; an ordered "salad with chicken" came with feta, no meat. When surprised at the insert, the employee countered that the number had been ordered that way. Not true, it was advertised as “chicken salad.” The fault was more with him or with the kitchen; a contradicting woman didn't suit him at all. Very disappointing! The restaurant is no longer worth recommending. That's not how you treat guests!!! It's also annoying when the kitchen always fails to respond to the concerns of a guest who has severe problems with lactose. As a guest at a steak restaurant, I expect the chef to be familiar with cooking levels. The steaks are generally delicious, so if you eat here and are familiar with cooking levels, it's best to say "well done"/"well done", then the steak may come out "medium" or "medium well", or maybe even "medium". rare".^^

Worst service we've ever had! It was a spontaneous visit, we wanted to spend a relaxing evening with friends and chose this restaurant. When we sat down a waiter came and slapped the menu on the table for us, you had the feeling that you were just a number here. Drinks and food felt like it took forever and unfortunately didn't taste right either. The drinks had a very weak taste, perhaps diluted with water?!? The food was overcooked or partially burned. Very annoying when you come hungry. We saw no reason to leave a tip and were therefore treated very rudely. The waiter didn't think it was necessary to give us the receipt, instead he threw it next to the EC machine and stubbornly turned his back on us without saying goodbye and ran away. Anyone who pays attention to service or good manners is unfortunately wrong here. We rarely write reviews, but since this behavior still annoyed me an hour after my visit, I couldn't resist writing them. Sorry, but you have to earn 5 stars.

I've eaten there several times now (for family celebrations) and I have to say, if you just want to fill up, it's the right place. Anyone who values ​​at least some quality in what they consume is in the wrong place. The map is very extensive, which is rarely a good sign. The dishes come with such a loveless and uninspired salad - half the plate is crammed full of simple lettuce leaves, a few carrots, tomato wedges and corn and all of this is drowned in a ready-made salad mayo ("salad of the season" as it is called on the menu, for example with halloumi). Plate - screamer, because everyone gets it with the main course). Potato wedges so soggy and fried to death that you long for McDonald's fries. Even the garlic bread was very dry. How can you possibly go wrong with things like this?! Some of the meat dishes next to me were left lying around because they were absolutely dry. One can only assume that a lot of it comes from TK. Simply add a thick dollop of garlic dip to each plate and you're done. Pure convenience. Even a supposedly "freshly mixed and prepared" lemonade with lemon juice and mint is not what you expect here (namely a lemonade with fresh lemon juice and mint leaves), but a bright green spritzer with mint syrup (no one has it at the table tasted good, sorry) on which a Physalis is perched (why?!). Look at any Vietnamese person in Berlin and you'll know how to do it, it's really not rocket science. Service topic: I know that finding service staff is difficult, but you can at least give people the basics when you hire them. For example, don't hold drinks and plates in front of the guest in the air and wait until they are taken away, but simply put them down?! Maybe also remember who had what. The shop wasn't full, the food comes after 5 minutes, so you can remember that or just ask nicely and don't just shout "HIFT STEAK?!?" across the table. Drinks were empty for ages before someone came to the table again and asked. Then suddenly it was cleared away even though someone was still eating. I don't even want to start talking about these sticky menu cards on every seat, why would you do that? If only the food could convince... It was felt in the group that everyone just wanted to get it over with quickly, there was no mood to linger, no one ordered dessert or another drink. And in the end that's a shame when you actually wanted a nice evening.

The table wasn't cleaned, lemonade had a rotten physalis as decoration. Entrecôte seemed to have been frozen and thawed for a long time... fat was gray. Meat was completely riddled with tendons and looked like it had been beaten beforehand to make it more tender. Much more fat and inedible pieces of meat than I'm used to from high-quality entrecôte. A mayonnaise, similar to a simple cocktail sauce on a lettuce leaf, adorns the edge of the plate as a "dip". In addition, the meat tasted strange and had an unpleasant taste of its own. Beans (frozen) with bacon were acceptable but very oily. I was offered a new entrecôte, and the waiter apologized for the physalis. I had lost my appetite and refused a new one Thank you. The charge was only 200g instead of 300g. The waiter tried hard and was relatively friendly, but smelled strongly of sweat. As a steak connoisseur and lover who likes to spend a few euros more for a high-quality meal, I recommend it Anyone who wants to eat a good streak urgently. Directly at the train station and Hauptstrasse. Seats were reserved for 4 people for dinner without any problems. Drinks were served relatively quickly. The first time the meal took almost an hour and it was full. The second time the food was on the table after a good 20 minutes. The service was barely keeping up the first time and we were left high and dry. All in all, we all enjoyed the food. We recommend the lemonade without alcohol, but with lots of ice. Price-performance is right. Gladly again 👍👍

Very good restaurant with a lot of choice on the menu. The steak was very good and the prices were absolutely ok.

During our visit we were served a rotten physalis in the lemonade. After we pointed it out to the waiter, he took it away without bringing us another drink or a fresh physalis. Unfortunately the quality of the meat is inferior. The entrecote was very stringy and had a musty taste. What was served to me as fillet was probably rump. Both pieces of meat were tender, but probably only because of the use of meat tenderizer, and you could see that in the meat. The side dishes are overpriced for the quality. Conclusion: never again! We eat out quite often, but have rarely been so disappointed, especially for the price!

We spontaneously went for a meal here and were warmly welcomed by the staff at the entrance. For a steakhouse 🥩 we found the selection of dishes very diverse. Our choice was based on two burgers 🍔 which were really good. The prices for burgers are between €10 and €11. As a starter there was a large Camembert. With a bit of luck there will be a parking space right in front of the door😊. We are traveling with an electric car and could have charged our car at several charging stations in the immediate vicinity🛺. We were completely satisfied and would love to come back🤗.

Service was good. The food was rather bad for the price. I had the baked “crabs” as a starter, which happened to be shrimp. In addition, the sauce was burnt in some places. The rolls that came with the salad were a bit al dente but ok. For my main course I had the Argentinian rump steak (No. 142). Medium was ordered and it arrived completely cooked and firm. Conclusion: The food had some flaws, but the ambience and service were quite good. The food was also quickly brought to our table.

We spontaneously stopped in for dinner and were warmly welcomed and escorted to a nice place. The waiters were very nice and accommodating. Our food was great, the meat was on point and really good quality. Perhaps the garnish on the plate could have been a little more modern and unusual, but that's just a small deduction in the B grade. A positive surprise was the price! Great value for money, top!

Interesting flavors that ignite the imagination, feelings, emotions and memories of good natural cuisine served in the countryside where I come from, I am almost at the table where, together with my family, alternating with my grandmother, mother, aunts and often the male side of culinary art, we eat the endless flavors. It brings back memories and I miss it a bit, but I don't regret it. I recommend it with all my heart, it's an amazing culinary dish prepared here and served on a plate, it's a dish that brings memories straight from your palate, it's worth tasting and licking your lips after the feast!

The quality of the meat has deteriorated significantly and was served cold in two dishes, the garlic sauce with the mushrooms tasted like ready-made remoulade with garlic added and the fried potatoes were still white... The service was quick, kind and considerate. The obligatory sambuca at the end was forgotten or reduced.

First of all, the food was okay, but that was it. An ordered tea was not served, it can happen, and the fact that a soup was also brought that was not ordered is also acceptable. However, the error learning rates would then have to slowly increase. Unfortunately, that's when things really started. The beans we ordered were then forgotten. Well-attended restaurant. Extensive menu.

The food was just right. Not too much but not too little either. It didn't take long and it was already there. One point deducted for the service. We had booked a table but when we arrived everything was full. And everything seems to be moving very quickly. Nevertheless, everyone was very friendly even though there was a lot going on.
