My friend and I stopped here after pur visit to the Therme. We had a few Beer and 2 Hennessy. The Hefeweizen was on Tap. It's a great Beer. Thanks for letting us enjoy our Beer. Next time we are going to eat here. The Menu looks great and the prices seem resonable.

We arrived relatively late on our vacation. We had a superb meal, and the swimming pool was also fantastic. Anyone staying here should definitely eat at the steakhouse.

We ate at the Maatouk steakhouse today, and it was a complete disaster. Our lamb fillet was completely dry, and instead of a medium-rare fillet, I was given a shoe-sole entrecote. Drinks weren't even asked for when they were empty, even though the waiter walked past several times. This was honestly the worst restaurant I've been to in years.

However, on our last two visits, we unfortunately noticed that the service, in particular, has deteriorated significantly. The second-to-last time, the waiter's behavior when paying was very strange – unfriendly, dismissive, almost annoyed. We assumed he was just having a bad day. Yesterday, however, the exact same thing happened again: When we said we wanted to pay by card, the waiter turned around without a word and disappeared – his expression spoke volumes and made it clear that he wasn't happy about it. Without a word, he returned with the card reader and held it out to us without comment. After payment, he also left – without a "thank you," without eye contact, and without any farewell. This is simply rude and inappropriate for a restaurant in this price range. It's a shame that this behavior is apparently not an isolated incident. We will think carefully about whether we come back again.

We're currently vacationing in Bad Saarow and absolutely love the Maatouk steakhouse! The steaks are grilled to perfection, super tender, and taste fantastic. The service is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is truly cozy. We highly recommend it!

A spacious restaurant with plenty of seating, yet cozy. The round tables with the red leather sofas, in particular, have a rustic charm. The staff are quick, friendly, and attentive. A classic Argentinian steakhouse where you shouldn't expect too much, but the food is good for the price. We had beef fillet and entrecote. The fillet was much better prepared. The side salad with mayonnaise... well, if you like that. The potato wedges were good. Service and ambiance are mediocre at best, but the staff are friendly. You sit outside, right on the main street, but the traffic is moderate. The wine selection is poor; at best, if you buy a whole bottle, you'll get a decent wine. The restrooms aren't that great. So, if you know what you're letting yourself in for, you'll get what you pay for. You shouldn't expect more than that.

Today I stayed in Bad Saarow and ofcourse someone needs to eat. I walked around the hotel and near the trainstation I saw a lot of locals eat here. If locals eat it, it must be good and it was. A lot of choices but I took a tomattosoup and Fajita chicken. I can’t remember I ever had a better Fajita. It was just perfect. The 4 stars is really underrated. I have high standards and I think it is really word 5 stars!!!

Very unfriendly staff. I ordered a steak that was supposed to weigh 400 grams but was no more than 300 grams. And then we left an 11.60 euro tip, and they didn't even say thank you. My conclusion: I definitely can't recommend this place.

The chicken fillet with grilled potato chips we ordered had an unusual texture; although it was supposedly baked, it had a gelatinous interior, suggesting it had been stored for a long time. At a price of over €16, higher quality is to be expected.

We stopped in here spontaneously on Ascension Day because the terrace looked so inviting. Meat dishes like mini steaks, chicken steaks, and minced steak were delicious. The side dishes of fries, baked potatoes, potato wedges, and salad were also very tasty. The homemade lemonades were refreshing. The prices are absolutely reasonable, and the servers are prompt and friendly. We ate here again two days later.

The first time I felt uncomfortable on the trip, the Lebanese Mezler came to the table and asked where we were from. We answered from Israel, and then he claimed that there was no such country, only Palestine. The entire meal he looked at us and talked on the phone. The food was reasonable. I ordered a steak, but it was overcooked, bordering on burnt.

The steaks including steakhouse fries were top. Drink selection completely ok. I'm actually used to having the first sip poured by the service staff when I order a "wine jug". Otherwise everything was as expected.

Relaxation in the Bad Saarow thermal baths and then to the Maatouk steakhouse right next to the Bad Saarow train station, with very good steakhouse cuisine👍🏽. Monday evening, made a quick reservation by phone and even though we were about 15 minutes ahead of time, we got a seat. The cards were handed out immediately. The food is delivered in sufficient portions and promptly. The prices are pleasant and the steak is on point. All in all, solid food!

The food was delicious, the service... Well, forgetting the beer, it doesn't matter, it can happen. But the entire wait staff sitting down at a table at 8:30 p.m. and eating almost ostentatiously without paying attention to the guests was something we had never seen before. It's a shame for the chef, he did a good job, but the whole thing wasn't any fun for me.

Unfortunately, we had the most tasteless food we've ever had here. The spare ribs were soft but unseasoned and were covered in curry ketchup. The fajitas were labeled as “spicy” on the menu, but none of them ended up on the plate at all. The food simply didn't taste like anything, and the salt and pepper on the table didn't help either. There is also a lot of catching up to do in service!! When asked to have the herb dip with the baked mushrooms in a separate bowl instead of over the mushrooms, everyone just shrugged their shoulders! Too bad! We then skipped the dip completely. In addition, we hadn't quite finished the starter yet, the main courses had already arrived. That doesn't work at all! Time management must be coordinated with the guest and the kitchen by the waiter! And I'm not even talking about our empty glasses on our table and the rolling of our eyes when paying (we just couldn't leave a tip here)! We will not be coming back and will not recommend it to anyone.

Hello everyone, today a few lines from the Bad Saarow restaurant Maatouk. We had reservations and everything went well. I don't want to criticize here, just give some outside advice. Okay, briefly the process: we ordered 2 soups, broccoli Pepa, a mini steak and once spare ribs! I asked for a timing comparison. The answer, we always do it that way. Then came the soups, one tomato and one goulash! And the broccoli Pepa, at the same time! That's a shame - but of course it can happen! The tomato soup was hot! Unfortunately the Meerado soup was cold in the middle, warm on the outside and the bowl was hot! I pointed it out and the “head waiter” took the soup away without comment! Smiling and not angry. The soup came and was hot. It tasted good too, some roasted golden onions would improve it even more! (she was very good!) Unfortunately it only took 4 minutes and the main courses arrived! Unfortunately, my request to place it under the thermal bridge again was not accepted. Well, the soups were eaten, the broccoli was almost eaten (unfortunately the name didn't fit the bill - no !! Pepa !!! - but a lot of cheese)! AND IT TASTED VERY GOOD!!! The main course arrived. And now a request for the next visit! YES!!!! I WILL COME BACK AND LOOK AGAIN. The mini steak was good - the salad was crispy, everything was as it should be! My ribs, were basically!! Very tasty!! However, here too is a tip from a customer! As I said, the ribs are very tasty, I wouldn't put a sweet and sour lettuce leaf underneath them, but you can. But that's a shame. The a “tank” of standard ketchup that coated it sweetly. The stuff came down - the fries were very tasty!!! A delicate, tasty ensemble of ribs unfolds underneath! My tip would be the following - if you want ketchup, add a small bowl (I don't) Then reduce some of the grill and pan juices and simmer a creamy sauce with whole green peppers in there and gently pour a little of it over the ribs. If the customer requests a fresh coarse pepper at the table and two delicious grilled cocktail tomatoes on top! A few drops of cherry might not be bad either! Noooo ketchup! Ribs include an empty plate for the bones and a cloth with lemon juice (prepackaged) to clean your fingers. There were tips - justifiably!!! Allow me one last thought??? The restaurant was full! Does that suggest that I'm being too picky or that it's mostly tourists? The team in front was doing well. And it would be possible to generate more sales! Because only the “head waiter” was “allowed” to take orders. If you give the young people at the front the chance to work on customers, they'll learn faster and maybe bring in other clients too! It could also bring in sales - I wasn't asked for another drink despite the empty glass. Finally - it was NOT BAD - not even - NOT OKAY! It could just be more. Prices were okay!! Whenever we visit Bad Saarow, 2 to 3 times a year, we eat there. Unfortunately, the restaurant and the quality of the food have deteriorated. It also smells unpleasant on the way to the toilet. It's a shame, we had a completely different impression a few years ago and were pleasantly surprised. We won't be visiting the restaurant again.

The ambience isn't entirely bad, but what was annoying were the flickering LED lights and the old leaky windows (you really have to do something about that, you're losing energy) which makes the window very drafty in autumn/winter. Service staff understand German very poorly (we'll have to adapt to that in the future). Food was very tasteless, I've never eaten such neutral spare ribs before and the curry sauce that overlays everything (it ended up being a currywurst with bones). Fries completely unseasoned, and then the mayo is out (that's in a steakhouse) - it will be our only visit.

The Maatouk steakhouse impresses with tasty dishes and offers a real experience for meat lovers. The preparation of the food is high quality and the taste is excellent. The waiting time is a little longer, but the quality of the food makes up for it. The waiters could be more attentive in places, but overall the pleasant atmosphere ensures a successful dining experience. Anyone who appreciates good steaks will get their money's worth here.

I haven't eaten so badly in a long time, Sparerips were completely burnt and then an attempt was made to cover them up with ketchup or something similar. If you look for the waiter, you'll most likely find him smoking outside the door...

We were really looking forward to the evening and the visit to the restaurant. But even when ordering, the staff was overwhelmed with the special request for a vinegar and oil dressing responded rudely. The drinks and dishes came very quickly, but that was all there was to good service. The Lambrusco was sour, the salad came without any dressing and the fries without ketchup. Only when asked was it explained that the ketchup had run out. Spiced ketchup was offered as an alternative. One employee reacted to criticism with laughter and the other could not hide his disappointment at not receiving a tip. No regrets, no apologies. Unfortunately we cannot make a recommendation. The only thing that lived up to expectations was the beer.

The complaint was responded to in a very unfriendly manner and ketchup was offered as a solution. The restaurant had a decent menu but two of us from a group of three were very disappointed with our food. We had a Schnitzel and also Fajitas. The Schnitzel was very dry. The Fajitas didn’t come with guacamole or sour cream nor other garnishes you expect. We had a terrible waiter who was impolite and not open to the concept of altering a dish slightly due to a customers preference. I wouldn’t go back.

During our vacation in Bad Saarow we spontaneously had dinner at the Maatouk steakhouse. Since the weather was nice, we took a seat on the terrace. We were served quickly and very friendly. We chose the “ribs BBQ” and the “mixed grill plate” dishes. We enjoyed both dishes and had nothing to complain about. The price/performance ratio is absolutely fine. We would definitely eat there again. We decided on an honest 4 star review, saying that the food was good but not outstanding.

We had an excellent meal here. The Mexico steak with runner beans was very good. I ate a beef fillet skewer with French fries. The fillet pieces were very large and excellently fried. It's been a long time since I ordered a beef skewer that was so well fried.
