The restaurant is tastefully decorated, modern yet cozy – a place where you feel at ease from the very first moment. The service is simply first-class: incredibly friendly, attentive, and courteous – a quality that is sadly rare these days. Here, you truly feel valued as a guest. The absolute highlight, however, is the food: The quality of the dishes is outstanding! Taste, preparation, and presentation are perfectly coordinated. Every bite is a culinary delight of the highest order. And the value for money is more than fair – you definitely get a lot for your money. I'm certain of one thing: I will only eat here from now on. I can wholeheartedly recommend La Casona Steakhouse. Anyone who dines here is guaranteed not to be disappointed!

We spontaneously went out for dinner last night (Friday) because we were craving a good piece of meat: we were truly spoiled and got our money's worth. The ambiance, the service, the drinks, the food from appetizer to dessert, the quality of the ingredients, the incredibly short wait times… EVERYTHING was perfect. We will definitely be back and will absolutely recommend it to family and friends 🤍

We were there two evenings prior to making a reservation and had some wine at the bar. The young man behind the bar was super friendly, as were his brother and father. Then the next evening was very mixed. 😟 We waited a very long time for the waiter to take our order, so we ordered drinks and food together. The meat quality is good, but the atmosphere was rather hectic and impersonal. Overall, all the side dishes were far too expensive. Other tables received a small complimentary side. €230 for four people with nothing much extra. The fries were the cheapest! The croquettes were also from a bag. And the expensive portion of spinach was only three forkfuls. Pretty much everything was disappointing except for the meat quality.

Great restaurant, delicious food, however the staff wasn't very attentive. Instead of a medium filet steak, I received a medium-rare entrecote steak, and it wasn't medium-rare at all, but rare. It was inedible. A real shame. The side dishes and dessert were delicious.

Originally, we had planned to visit a different steakhouse. After seeing the pictures, we quickly changed our plans because we preferred the atmosphere. We arrived and immediately felt comfortable. The service was first-class. The dishes we chose were beautifully presented, and we have rarely eaten so fantastically. Everything was perfect, and we will definitely be back.

My first impression upon entering: There were many dogs there. For me, as a dog lover, that was a plus. The service was quick, but I didn't experience the super-friendly service often described here. It was rather perfunctory, but not unfriendly. However, the staff laughed and hugged the regulars cheerfully. It was very crowded and correspondingly loud. It felt like a pub. A conversation at a normal volume was impossible. I had to ask the waiter to repeat his questions several times. The sirloin steak from the grill – as it says on the menu – is called an onion steak by the waiter, since it has onions in it. Why isn't it listed that way on the menu? The mushroom cream sauce I ordered tasted sour; it contained only two slices of mushroom, so I left it untouched. A lot of money wasted. The sirloin steak (200g) and the accompanying onions were good. The French fries were also tasty. Unfortunately, there was neither salt nor pepper on the table. We paid just under €100 for two people. This included a Kölsch beer, a large bottle of water, two extra sauces, and a side salad. The price-performance ratio is completely off. Not for a meal in a pub atmosphere. We didn't feel very comfortable. There are better steakhouses in Cologne.

The steaks and the rack of lamb are exceptional. The prices are absolutely reasonable for this level of service. The staff are very friendly and attentive. We've been here many times and would happily return.

The food and service are simply fantastic. We're just visiting Cologne and this is our second time there, and I can highly recommend it. The steak was cooked to perfection, and the side dish, a baked potato with herb butter, was also delicious. I will definitely visit the restaurant again on my next visit to Cologne!

A good steakhouse in Colonia, serving high-quality Argentinean produce cooked to perfection: reasonable portions, well-cooked meat, decent service (we had a hard time finding a table, but once seated, the dishes arrived at a good pace), friendly and helpful staff, a good place to eat in the city. A must-try again.

Had the pleasure to eat here three times in the past week, my go to was the ribeye perfect cooked, the service was great, wonderful see the staff working as a true team. If I had to make one comment the appetizers were a bit lacking but everyone is there for the steak

We were deeply impressed! We received very quick and friendly service and were given a small portion of baguette (warm and crispy!) with homemade basil herb butter and a delicious dip. Both the beef fillet and the entrecôte were incredibly tender and cooked to perfection – you could have eaten them without teeth! The entire meal was also world-class in terms of taste. The side dishes, the chimichurri, and the sauces were homemade and rounded out the taste experience. I can't remember when I've had such a great steak. We'll be back soon!🤗

Currently the best steakhouse in my opinion. We used to come from Block House and now prefer Casona because the quality of the meat at Block House has declined significantly.

I was at the La Casona restaurant yesterday and was completely impressed! From the moment you enter, you immediately feel welcome; the ambiance is warm, cozy, yet stylish. The service was extremely friendly and attentive, without being intrusive. The food was an absolute highlight: fresh ingredients, perfectly balanced spices, and beautifully presented. I particularly recommend the grilled prawns and the sirloin steak—they're dreamy! The desserts are also a must. The prices are absolutely fair for the quality. I will definitely be back and can recommend La Casona to anyone who wants to enjoy good food in a pleasant atmosphere.

The ajoli I ordered with it was a hit. The dessert, a dark mousse with cream, was killer. Everything was simply delicious. It's no surprise that this place is always packed, and rightly so. I've visited many steakhouses over the past two years, but no steak has been as good as the one at Casona Steak Haus in Cologne! The meat was outstanding – tender, juicy, perfectly aged, and cooked to perfection (medium rare). A true delight! What makes this place special, however, isn't just the food, but also the exceptionally friendly and attentive service. The staff was warm, professional, and always with a smile. You don't feel like a guest – but like a valued friend. The ambiance at La Casona is both stylish and cozy. Ideal for a romantic dinner, a meeting with friends, or a relaxed business lunch. The best filet pur I've ever eaten in my life was at La Casona in Cologne. I came from Belgium, and it was unusual. I got it medium rare and it was simply fantastic. For us (and probably in general), this is the best steakhouse in the greater Cologne area! Here you can enjoy authentic Argentinian steak. The flavor is fantastic and the cooking is perfect! The side dishes are excellent and complement the meat experience to create a culinary delight. The service is friendly, attentive, and fast. The ambiance invites you to linger and fits the style of the restaurant well! We are extremely satisfied and, despite being regulars for many years, have never been disappointed. We can recommend this restaurant without hesitation.

A very friendly welcome and fast, professional service. My rump steak was of excellent quality, which is what I expect for the price and am happy to pay. Unfortunately, the meat was cooked rare instead of medium. It was also immediately put back on the grill, but unfortunately not for long enough. I didn't want to complain again. The Béarnaise sauce was good, but for a ready-made product, I personally found it too expensive. The grilled vegetables were delicious, but some were blackened. Nevertheless, it is one of the best steakhouses in the city.

Meine Frau hatte sich die Garnelen-Vorspeise und eine Ofenkartoffel zusammen mit meinem Hauptgericht bestellt. Es war sehr schmackhaft, allerdings waren die 6 Garnelen preislich überzogen. Ich hatte ein 300g Entrecote, Pfeffersauce, Grillgemüse und Bratkartoffeln. Das Steak war auf den Punkt gebraten uns sehr lecker. Die sehr gute Fleischqualität war mit jedem Bissen zu spüren. Grillgemüse und Pfeffersauce auch prima. Die Bratkartoffeln waren leider keine Bratkartoffeln, da sie null Röstaromen hatten. Mir schien, dass man sie vergessen hatte, Steak schon fertig war und man die frischen Kartoffeln nur kurz im Öl gewälzt hatte. Ich hatte nicht erwartet, dass sowas die Küche verlassen darf. Ich habe den Ober sofort darauf angesprochen, er sagte nur: Kann passieren! Die Reaktion war schon seltsam, wenn man solche Preise aufruft. Ich hätte erwartet, dass er mir angeboten hätte, die Salzkartoffeln nochmal in die Pfanne zu hauen, oder aber sie in der Rechnung weg zu lassen. Habe mich geärgert, dass ich das dann nicht selbst vorgeschlagen hatte. Die klein geschnittenen Salzkartoffeln waren aber lecker , nur nicht das was ich bestellt hatte. Mir fehlte am Ende auch die Frage: hat es ihnen geschmeckt? Auch das hätte ich in einem so hochpreisigem Lokal erwartet. Deshalb habe ich hier auch einen Stern abgezogen.

We were there yesterday and have been several times since. We were there for the first time a few months ago and now go once or twice a month, as it's become our favorite restaurant for perfect steaks. Not only the meat, but everything is incredibly delicious, and the sangria is like Spanish. The atmosphere is cozy, and the staff are super friendly and on the ball. You feel like you're on vacation, not in Cologne. The staff is always cheerful, friendly, and attentive. They also make you feel welcome and at home. We're always happy when we go there because the food is good, but also because all the employees are so nice. If you think the good reviews are fake, which you'd think if you only read good things, no, they're not. It's rare to find places like this these days, but here you'll definitely find one. And if someone has something to complain about, there's no help for them because they're just complaining because they want to. And if anyone says it's expensive, let me tell you: "Good meat is always expensive, and here it's freshly cooked and cooked to perfection!" You can taste the quality. You feel welcome as soon as you enter - the ambience is stylish, cozy and perfect for a special evening. And then the food… WOW. The steak was grilled to perfection - with a fantastic crust on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. Every bite was a delight. The side dishes were also great. The service was also outstanding: attentive, friendly and competent. You can tell that there are professionals at work here who really want to pamper their guests. An absolute recommendation for meat lovers. I enjoyed a grilled rip eye steak medium rare there. I would recommend fries or fried potatoes as a side dish. I had croquettes which were tasty but the portion was very small. Before the main course there was fresh bread with an aioli dip and herb butter. The meat was grilled perfectly. Really great

What a spontaneous stroke of luck! We were there at 6 p.m. without a reservation and had to wait a bit because all the tables were full - but it was absolutely worth it. The food was delicious, the quality was first class, and the service was excellent, so we had a thoroughly enjoyable evening.
