Ich war mit meiner Freundin hier essen. Wir wurden gleich zu Beginn sher Typisch mittelalterlich begrüßt. Die Atmosphäre war den ganzen Abend über fantastisch. Die Mitarbeiter spielen ihre Rollen mit Freude. Das Essen war köstlich und sehr zu empfehlen. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Were here yesterday evening, a nice welcome at the entrance, you are taken to your table very quickly, the Middle Ages theme was perfectly implemented, the food and drink as well as the service were excellent.

Overall a brilliant 5 star restaurant. The waiters live the motto, as does the ambience. It was really an experience. The food was inexpensive and really good. A highlight was the meet made from house brand drinking horns. A really great all-round package. Absolutely recommended!

Food really top! On the day we were there there were problems with the cash register. We had to wait half an hour until we could order something to drink. But otherwise everything was great!

It was very beautiful and very tasty.

Definitely recommended. It's something completely different. Medieval music, ambience, employees including the language. Even a magician runs from table to table. There are also some wild animals such as a dangerous dragon that can suddenly scare you. The food was super fresh, hot and really delicious. Prices absolutely humane. All in all, it was a really adventurous stay in the halls of the Lord. We will be back definitely.

The service was funny and friendly. The ambience was very well done and my boys were also happy with the burgers.

We were there today with 2 adults and our 2 kids and we were all thrilled. A very great atmosphere with great attention to detail. All the staff were incredibly friendly and kind in their roles. The kids got crowns and our 3 year old also got something to paint. A magician came to the table to tell little stories and tricks, in between swords were polished and dragon hand puppets were used to amuse both children and adults. I don't know who had more fun, the adults or the children. Next time we'll come like one or two guests in medieval costume! The food was very tasty. “Praise to the kitchen!” The steaks were excellent. The price is completely reasonable and no more expensive than in the brewery. From beer to Meet to the woodruff limo, everything came in beautifully tempered clay cups and jugs. All in all we had a really great time. We will definitely come back! Thank you for the wonderful evening.

The Middle Ages program is here! It was really something special to eat there. Everything is correct and was very good. Nice staff, super delicious food. There's really nothing to complain about. We will definitely come back. A little tip, I would definitely recommend making a reservation. Because it was really very well attended. But it's worth it if you want to do something special.

There were 7 of us there and we all ate very tasty food. The staff is super nice and everyone is perfectly “in character” at a great level. Only this "Merlin" who shows you some kindergarten magic tricks in standard Cologne style was nice and friendly, but apart from the appearance he didn't fit into the concept at all.

Unfortunately I have to correct my original rating downwards. The chicken pieces are very tasty but unfortunately bone dry and fried for far too long. At times I didn't know whether I was biting on cartilage or a bone because everything was rock hard, and the quality of the wings is also very poor. Almost just broken bones and very little meat on it. The restaurant is always worth a visit, but unfortunately I can only advise against the wings at the moment.

Brilliant restaurant with delicious food! We were there on Friday for ColognePride and it wasn't overly crowded, the service was very on the ball and super quick. We had ordered mead in horns (not a good idea, it gave me a headache in the morning 🫢) but hey, the starter of dragon eggs was very tasty, as were the main courses. At some point the waitress started handing out funny accessories, my partner got a wreath of flowers and our companion got a crown 👑 very amusing and fits the mood and ambience. The only criticism was that the music was incredibly loud... it was very difficult to have a conversation.

We booked relatively quickly for my birthday. Nevertheless, we quickly received an answer for the reservation. The restaurant is like a little journey back in time to a tavern from the Middle Ages. The whole ambience is adapted to this and is really impressive. Our table was also specially decorated, which we were very happy about as it was only a small piece of information in the reservation. The food is very good and worth every dollar. Big praise also to the sirs and ladies for the great service.

I'm really excited, it was one of the best burgers I've eaten so far. The milkshakes were really boring, I expected more.

Great evening. Big tasty burgers and very friendly service. Prices a bit on the steep side but worth it.

Stylish medieval restaurant. We were warmly welcomed at the door. Acted flexibly when it turned out that there were 3 of us more. The drinks came in stylish clay vessels and were given medieval names such as a large Colonius (Greek Kölsch). Unfortunately, the darker ambience makes it difficult to see the menu, which is why many people read it with their cell phone flashlight - a little disturbing for the ambience. All the dishes we had with 11 people were enjoyed by everyone and everyone was full. The employees complete the experience completely and offer a nice supporting program. It was an excellent evening and is definitely recommended for anyone who wants to experience something like that and can tolerate simpler food. It is advisable to travel by public transport as there are not many public parking spaces available.

Very pleasing to the eye. Especially for lovers of medieval behavior. This very special atmosphere in combination with the graceful decorations is definitely worth taking a look inside. There is no need to be shy about the food either, as the cooks do their work admirably. And the servants, I can only praise them. I have nothing to complain about and a lot to praise.

Would you like a trip to the Middle Ages? It feels like someone has turned the clock... We were allowed to follow a lovely lady, dressed in medieval style, into the cellar or crypt. It is decorated in a very medieval way, but a little more could definitely be done. The waiters are very careful to speak in this ancient language. We had to listen carefully and first think about what was meant. There was also a lot of fun to be had while operating. Enjoy the show. The food was great. From the starter to the main course to the dessert. There is nothing to complain about here. From choice of plate to decoration from taste to ambience. Everything top class. Just try it out. The Lord is worth a reservation and everyone should try it. We were thrilled.

As I walked through the venerable doors of this stately inn, I was instantly transported back in time. The walls told stories of knights and noblewomen, and the mind was immediately lightened. When I saw the menu, my heart warmed - a veritable banquet table richly laid out with delicacies brought together from distant lands that would make even the mightiest knight scream with joy. The flames of the grill not only conjured up succulent meat dishes, but also vegetable dishes that would delight even the most die-hard plant person. Your taste buds will rejoice when you eat the legendary “Metalburger”, artfully grilled and seasoned to take your breath away. The "fresh bread", on a wonderful garlic dip, the like of which is rarely found, makes even the bravest warriors melt. But stop, it's not just the meal that makes the heart happy! The innkeepers, dressed in splendid robes, are so friendly and accommodating that you feel like you are in your own home. The atmosphere, illuminated by gentle candlelight and the sounds of old songs, allows time to stand still and the mind to recover. The offspring were also excellently entertained. A small house dragon and a tree spirit joined us in between. Great fun for ladies, lords and infants! A great location for us. Exceptional ambience with appropriate, extremely friendly service, great food at reasonable prices. The only thing that was difficult was the room temperature, but that doesn't factor into the rating... You can just turn a blind eye. We'd love to come back.

Hear hear, After we made our way to the Lord in our carriage, we were not disappointed again. Celebrating the 77th birthday of the head of our family here was just right. The staff is incredibly friendly, very funny and noticeably enjoys their work. The food is simply fantastic. Small touches, such as the gift of a medieval headdress, will lighten up and stimulate the evening even more. The atmosphere is consistently medieval. Dim lighting, stone walls, wooden benches with sheepskin, wooden cutlery and medieval decorations... Not forgetting the music that accompanies the ambience. In our special case, my father's birthday, it was so sweet that a great dessert from the house was served, an announcement about our Lord's birthday and a birthday song were also sung. You brought my father to tears. Thanks alot. It was so great with you. We would love to come back with all our hearts! See you soon....

Arrived yesterday with friends and family to dine there. We found a wonderful atmosphere on site and the service was also great, from the role play to the effort made to entertain the littlest ones in our circle and to allay their fears after their dad said that there were demons in the dungeon 🤣. But now to the most important thing, the food was absolutely great. The Hercules Burger was one of, if not the best, burgers that I have treated myself to in recent years. All in all, we had a wonderfully fun evening here and will travel the 90 minutes again to dine here. Many thanks to the team.

Since I was already informed, we were all “dressed” accordingly and received a correspondingly joyful welcome. Everything is clean and well-kept (especially the sanitary rooms!), everyone was very friendly and every order was served quickly and all special requests were implemented. The 2.5 hours is enough time - but we also used every minute. The menu is clear, but there is something for every burger and steak fan. The prices are completely reasonable and we would love to come back!!

If you want to briefly immerse yourself in another world, this is definitely the right place for you! The waiters try very hard to come across as authentic as possible and the food is also great. We sat down in the basement in the former bowling alley and the renovation was definitely worth it. Oh yes, of course the mead is not drunk in classic glasses but in horns. Great store, we definitely weren't there for the last time!

We chose the restaurant because we were in Cologne for a few days and the reviews on the internet were very good. Unfortunately we had to wait over an hour for our food, which in my opinion is not okay. Burger was also so-so, I've had much better. And the price-performance ratio is too high for the size of the burgers. Furthermore, it was very hot and stuffy in the lower part of the restaurant. Was pretty uncomfortable. Anyone who likes a medieval touch will definitely like it there, but it was definitely the last time we were there.

Magical atmosphere, very attentive and courteous service. The steak is incredibly delicious. Perfectly medium rare, with a light, even crispy, crust and very juicy. The combination of spices is excellent. The potatoes and cheese are very tender and tasty. The honey beer deserves special praise! It was a feast of taste!

Super nice and characteristic service and ambience. The atmosphere was great as were the exceptional drinks. The starter was legendary as was the dessert. In my opinion, the entire spice breading of the chicken legs was a bit too much, but otherwise very tasty.

Nice atmosphere but unfortunately the food taste is not amazing. They serve burn sweet potatoes for 5 euros. I was so disappointed. I mean it’s a restaurant. They should be focusing on the food quality not only the atmosphere or theatrical. And inside is too warm for spring. I can’t imagine in summer.

I liked the different decoration and atmosphere, staff were really nice and friendly, their outfit were amazing. Nice music was playing but unfortunately about food, burgers weren’t anything special, for me, it was overcooked and dry. Generally was a good experience.

Locally done in medieval times. Food was okay (burgers). The waitress was fully in his/her role and tried hard. There is a bar area upstairs and there are also seats in the vaulted cellar downstairs, so it is kept dark. If you like the Middle Ages, you'll definitely have fun here.

Ultra nice staff who feel their role! 💕 Food arrived quickly and correctly and my change to the burger was also taken into account. The meat was very well seasoned and wasn't “oily” or greasy, which meant the bun didn't fall apart. Dessert (cookie) is also highly recommended! You also have the option of paying by card :) The furnishings fit the theme 100%, everything was done absolutely right! Unfortunately the parking situation is a bit difficult. It's best to get there a little earlier. Otherwise absolutely great!
