In principle, I can recommend this place, but not when it's over 30 degrees outside. The air is so hot and stuffy under the roof.

The catering was outstanding! The schnitzel, Maultaschen (swabian dumplings), and meatballs were fresh, perfectly prepared, and incredibly delicious. The gravy was a dream and perfectly rounded everything off. Everything arrived on time, hot, and of the highest quality. Highly recommended – we and our guests were thrilled!

I can't really judge the food, service, or ambiance, nor am I surprised why this particular location doesn't offer delivery. I'll have to find the time to go to Leimen first to figure out if I'd recommend it. The food seems really delicious. And that's exactly why I'll have to try it soon 📝 😜

In the beer garden, there was dog poop next to my table. And it was the owner's dog. Very disgusting.

The food was very good and plentiful. Only the service, probably the manager, was feigningly friendly.

Best freshest schnitzel in the world. The food is sooo good because it is butchered in-house. The shop is a bit oldscool but very nice and totally delicious, and the prices are appropriate. Always my pleasure :).

I was a guest for the first time and was thrilled to finally have German cuisine...the dining room was comfortably furnished like a parlor. Will come again...

A typical, as we say, economy. Like in old times. Food top. Service on point, very friendly and uncomplicated. The atmosphere is very cozy. The only drawback. You have to make a reservation as it is always very busy.

It's tasty, it's crowded, it's loud. That's usually how it is with Stather. If you like the restaurant atmosphere, this is the place for you. It's great that there is still a restaurant like this in Leimen and that it seems to be doing so well.

Very good rustic cuisine The restaurant was very full, the outdoor area was closed due to the low temperatures. Unfortunately, it is very loud in the room when all the tables are occupied - a conversation at normal volume is almost impossible, so 2 points are deducted for the ambience. Everything is very bright and friendly. The service was very friendly, even if she did everything herself. The food came after a very short wait - the processes are very well coordinated! We had pre-ordered 2x knuckles and ordered 2 dishes regularly from the menu. The knuckles were terrific. Crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. The schnitzel (or the 2 schnitzels) was nicely breaded, a bit too thick in my opinion. The fries are nice and thin, crispy and delicious. The beef goulash is wonderfully tender in a strong sauce with homemade bread dumplings and breadcrumb butter on top - very tasty and recommended. The small side salad was also good, but I don't know whether I would order it again for over €5. Apart from the high volume, a very successful evening with wonderful food.

It's a local restaurant that doesn't seem to be frequented by many tourists. The atmosphere is very comfortable and warm. The food, service and price were all very good. I was impressed by the way everyone greeted me when I left :)

Price-performance ratio is still right here. Food is very tasty. Just two comments to the operators: 1. I recommend preheating the plates in winter, otherwise the food will cool down too quickly due to being carried through the colder space. 2. It's always a shame when a guest expresses a small criticism and is then given the answer: "That can't be right!" This suggests that the guest is lying. (But it also depends on who is serving you there.)

An inn like there aren't many left. Food, service and ambience as it used to be: down-to-earth and honest. Where can you get a chop today? Anyone who used to enjoy going to inns with their own butcher shop knows what to expect.

Das Essen ist wirklich spitze! Man merkt, dass auf Qualität geachtet wird. Im Innenbereich wurde sich viel Mühe gegeben, damit der Gast sich wohlfühlt. Sehr gemütlich! Einen Stern ziehe ich leider ab, weil der Außenbereich sehr einfach gehalten ist und nicht die Gemütlichkeit ausstrahlt. Außerdem kommt einem die Bedienung anfänglich ein wenig stoffelig vor. Das legt sich aber im Laufe des Aufenthaltes

Wahnsinnig leckere deutsche Küche und super nette Leut...

After a 12 hour journey we ended up here at 8pm. The kitchen was still open and everything was great! Authentic german food, tender and delicious. This really made our day. Thank you to all the staff at Alfred's Vesperecke. I will definitely come back here!

Wer gutbürgerliches Essen sucht, wird hier definitiv nicht enttäuscht. Das Essen ist immer wieder ein Erlebnis. Ob nun der Salat mit Putenstreifen oder das legendäre Cordon Bleu, das Essen ist konstant sehr gut und man wird in jedem Fall satt. Als begleitendes Getränk kann ich das Franziskaner Kellerbier absolut empfehlen.
