Very disappointing! Price performance a 4 or 5+... Can't understand the very good reviews - perhaps the requirements in Heidelberg are very low... Eat: The fondue is "ok", but completely excessive for €60-70. You get a few potatoes and bread (second helpings cost extra) for dipping. See picture, that was the amount of bread for 4 people - I would estimate potatoes to be about 3 fist sized per person. The cheese is “ok” but it’s no enlightenment either. Portion size was sufficient but far from "large". Service: The service was nice. Unfortunately, they neglected to clear up and start with dessert. When we asked about it, we were told that part of the group had said we wanted to wait - which wasn't true. When paying (8 people) we were told that it was very difficult to separate the bill and that we should just pay together - we could separate it among ourselves. I worked in the catering industry for over 8 years, separating bills is really a) not a big deal and b) absolute standard - if that's too much for you, you should reconsider your career choice. Ambiance: It looks nice - but that's it.

I only give a few stars overall because after today's experience and paying the exorbitant bill, the good impression of the ambience, food and service is immediately spoiled. Ultimately, it is assumed that regardless of what you as a customer want (some eat less, others want to share a menu, etc.), you always have to pay for an entire menu per person. This is not communicated in advance, nor is it noted in the menu that every guest is obliged!!! a menu to pay! Last year we were 4 adults and 3 children, ordered 2 menus, also ordered cheese and paid for it, it worked out exactly as desired. But this time it was an extremely unpleasant experience, so please be careful!

One starter (Schwyzer Plättli) good and plentiful, one (fresh “Nüsslisalat”) extremely poor in every respect, the main course (cheese fondue – traditional) mainly Riesling-Sour, otherwise flat in taste, the desserts simple (fresh “Nüsslisalat”) or varying in quality (Swiss Valrhona chocolate). The wines have a flat taste and go well with the food. The drinks overall are expensive. The furnishings were literally slanted and wobbly, the view went directly to a flat screen with constantly repeating advertisements. The service was quick and attentive. Conclusion: Advertising while eating is an absolute no-go. The food itself was very average. The price is not justified. The staff alone cannot compensate for the deficiencies. No, I don't have to go there anymore.

Mixed impression... Food was very tasty and of good quality, but with the cheese fondue too much alcohol in the cheese spoiled the taste. Service was extremely nice and hardworking 👍. The ambience is nice, but way too loud (train station hall), insulation would be absolutely necessary! Overall, it's a bit overpriced for what's on offer, but with some crunch it's just acceptable. But definitely worth a visit once, probably not a second time.

Thank you dear Baracca Swiss team for the wonderful evening with our friends😊 We were very satisfied, service was top👍🏼Food was sensational 👌🏼😋 We had both cheese and meat fondue, the combination is highly recommended. The only thing you can complain about is that everything is tight on the table and the distance to the next table. The staff also felt sorry for us, although our personal, lovely waitress always said that we would manage everything and that they would have a nice evening, she was right😊

We were guests at Baracca Swiss for the first time and were very positively surprised. You are greeted by a friendly team and welcomed into a great atmosphere. All the dishes (salad, fondue, dessert) were very tasty and well prepared. The service was on point. We'd love to come back.

Unique ambience and very attentive, unobtrusive service. We had meat and cheese herb fondue. The cheese fondue could have been a little spicier, and we would also have liked the bread to be a little more crusty. Complaining on a high level, but taking the prices into account, you can take a closer look here and there. All in all, we had a very nice and delicious evening.

We were a larger group and had a great evening, but the price-performance ratio wasn't quite right. The drinks are also too expensive, €7.50 for a bottle of water! But the service was top and we also really liked the location. Different types of bread for the cheese fondue would be desirable.

There were 6 of us and we had a great evening. The staff was very attentive and explained the course of the evening very well at the beginning. The food was extremely tasty. The time flew by. We were thrilled and will definitely be back next year. It's also nice that there are enough parking spaces and you don't have to search. Despite the full house, it wasn't overly loud, so it was easy to have a conversation. An absolutely successful evening.

We were there for the second time and were again very satisfied. We had the classic fondue twice and the one with herbs twice. Both very tasty. The starter has been reduced a bit compared to last year, which means a deduction from the B grade :) The dessert was very tasty. The ambience is just right and, above all, the super friendly service from Michael rounded off the evening and made it a successful event for us.

Very cozy location with fantastic fondues! The atmosphere is like in a real alpine hut, the staff is very friendly and quick, so you feel very comfortable. The food was delicious, but our starter was missing bread. On that day, there were probably short-term sick calls among the Baracca Swiss employees, which is probably why it fell by the wayside. Nevertheless, all the employees tried their best to ensure that the guests didn't notice. Otherwise a successful evening... stomach clearly full!!!!

Käsefondue war nicht ganz unser Geschmack, aber schön angerichtet. Vorspeisen super, die Desserts sahen schon aus wie industrielle Massenware. Wofür das Personal nichts kann, sind Gäste, die nix besseres zu tun haben, als auf der Toilette auf Sitz und Boden zu pinkeln. Aber man könnte auch mal zwischendurch Handtücher und Papier nachfüllen und nicht nur sagen, man meldet es weiter und dann tut sich nichts.

Wir waren gestern Abend zu Besuch im Baracca Swiss (4 Personen). Ein rundum gelungenes Konzept und ein sehr schöner Abend. Service sehr zuvorkommend und extrem freundlich. Alle Wünsche wurden berücksichtigt und die Bestellung gestaltete sich als sehr flexibel. Das Käsefondue (klassisch) war hervorragend. Alles war eingebettet in ein 3 Gänge Menü, was absolut stimmig war. Zu empfehlen ist der Wein „Ganz in weiß“. Auch dieser passte super zum kompletten Essen. Ich muss sagen wir waren alle begeistert. Wir waren zu dritt und haben 2 x Fleisch Fondue und 1x Käse Fondue Classic bestellt. Dazu gab es einen großen Korb Kartoffeln und gebrartenes Gemüse mit Champions und 3 Dips und Gürkchen,Silberzwiebeln und Maiskölbchen. Als Vorspeise gab es leckeren Nüsslisalat oder eine Schinken,Salami ,Käseplatte mit Brot und Kräuterquark. Als Nachspeise heißer Schokoküchle mit Vanilleeis und Heidelberen. Alles sehr hochwertig und sehr lecker 😋 Kostenloser Nachschlag vom Käse und Fleisch Fondue inbegriffen. Wir waren alle drei Papp Satt und der Preis war völlig okay. Nächstes Jahr sind wir wieder dabei. Vielen Dank an das nette Team.

Wir waren das zweite Mal bei Baracca Swiss. Das letzte Mal war es in Heidelberg am Bismarckplatz. Die Örtlichkeit beim Weingut Adam Müller ist gut zu erreichen und es gibt ausreichend Parkplätze. Das Schöne an der großen Hütte ist die Verwendung von Holz mit einem rustikalen / gemütlichen Charakter. Das Haus war voll besetzt und entsprechend war der Lärmpegel. Ein Unterhalten war phasenweise recht anstrengend. Wir waren einerseits öfters der Frischluft durch die Tür ausgesetzt, andererseits war es später doch ganz schön warm in der Hütte. Die Bedienungen waren freundlich und sehr flink. Was bei dem vollbesetzten Haus auch unumgänglich war. Trotzdem hatten die alles gut im Griff. Es konnte zwischen zwei Vorspeisen und zwei Desserts gewählt werden. Außerdem gab es drei Käsefondues und ein Fleischfondue zur Auswahl. Wir hatten ein Fleisch- und ein Käsefondue. Die rund € 60 für das Essen finde ich angemessen, zumal alles bei Bedarf nachgereicht wird. Wir waren 4 Erwachsene und ein Kind 6 Jahre.Das Normale Käsefondue war etwas salzig aber durch das mischen mit dem Fleischfondue war es eine perfekte Ergänzung. Die Weine kamen natürlich großteils vom Weingut Adam Müller sowie eine kleine Ergänzung durch das Weingut Heitlinger und Ravensburg. Alles in allem ein gelungener Abend mit dem Thema Fondue.

Cheese, cheese and more delicious cheese. This pop up is delicious, spacious, warm and welcoming. The staff are friendly and helpful. 3 courses, starter, main, dessert and all delightfully tasty. We had the fondue with wild herb and the other tomato and chilli with a variety of dipping options from potatos too veg. Dessert chocolate, comforting and moreish. If only I had room for more cheesy melting goodness I could of spent the night. Beautifully set up and cosy with a fireplace setting the scene with warmth from the cold weather. Only negative would be our seats were very close and had little room to manoeuvre. Book a spot before it leaves because gooey, goodness cheese.

Positives vorweg: Ambiente toll, ich mag es sehr! Gemütlich, wirklich schön gemacht, aber sehr hoher Lärmpegel. Nun weiter zu nicht so schönen Wahrheit: Leider werden die Portionen immer kleiner... Vesperbrett als Vorspeise war letztes Jahr für eine Person wesentlich umfangreicher und so groß, wie heuer für zwei Personen. Argumentation bei Rückfrage beim Service: "Da in den letzten Jahren immer sehr viel zurückgegangen ist, haben wir uns dazu entschlossen, die Portionen zu verkleinern..." Ja, liebe Veranstalter, dann müsst ihr aber nicht nur die Portionen verkleinern, sondern auch den Preis nach unten anpassen. Denn die Preise sind einfach extrem hoch, für das, was man erhält. Mit Getränken liegt man eben bei 70-90 EURO PRO PERSON... Wenn man zur Vorspeise noch Brot nachordert, kommen bei einem 12er-Tisch 4 (!!!) Scheiben... Zum klassischen Fondue kommen als Beilage dann pro Person ca. 1,5 Minimaiskolben, 2 Cornichons, 5 Silberzwiebeln und Kartoffeln und Brot. That's it. Und wenn man Kartoffeln nachbestellt kommen 6-8 Stück. Auch Service war immer schon etwas "überfordert"... Ich sag mal so: Als ehemaliger Gastronom, kenne ich die Einkaufspreise der Waren (auch z.B. der "Engadiner Nusstorte", der es gut tun würde, sie zur Entfaltung der Aromen bei Zimmertemperatur zu servieren) und auch weiß ich, was eine solche Hütte zur Pacht kostet. Ich weiß auch, dass man sie z.B. von einer bayerischen Weißbierbrauerei saisonal kostenfrei zur Verfügung gestellt bekommen kann. (Hier ist das keine Hütte von der Brauerei!) Aber, wenn man dann auf dem Gelände von Adam Müller steht und das Agreement sein wird: Du kannst die Hütte hier hin stellen, musst aber meine Weine verkaufen, dann denke ich mal, sind auch die Stand-Kosten "überschaubar", da win-win. Liebe Veranstalter: Überlegt euch doch, entweder die Speisen für den aktuellen Preis auszuweiten oder die Preise etwas zu reduzieren? Natürlich kommen immer und immer Firmen, die keine "Selbstzahler" sind und ihr könnt das solange machen, bis die Gäste ausbleiben, aber ich würde es erst gar nicht soweit kommen lassen. Cozy, middle-class inn in the heart of Leimen with great, car-free and quiet outdoor facilities. Very attentive, fast and nice service. The menu is huge - from pizza to tapas and burgers to German cuisine... obviously this menu is intended to appeal to ALL guests. No recognizable concept. We had tagliatelle with mushroom sauce, vegetable ravioli, a Greek salad with a portion of fries, a Swiss sausage salad with bread, as well as 3 non-alcoholic drinks (0.4 l each) and 1 sour wheat shandy outside. Total price: 82.10 euros. Unfortunately, my sausage salad was not satisfactory: convenience sausage in strips and ready-made, grated cheese from the (discount) bag, unfortunately almost no dressing at all and the portion size was very, very clear. This can be done much better and was disappointing. The Greek salad also had far too little dressing. The other dishes were and tasted good. Oh yes: there is no home-brewed beer here - I expected that in a brewery. Very unfortunate. 3-4 stars.

My chicken had definitely been on the grill for too long. Unfortunately it was pretty dry. Other chicken roasters definitely do this better by hanging the chickens on the grill so that they are perfect and juicy at lunchtime (I was there at 12 p.m.). The potato salad was ultra small and there are better industrial potato salads. Conclusion: it works like this...
