Experienced Macedonian cuisine once, but a little different than Croatian, but also totally recommended

A nice, relaxed location with super nice staff.

I haven't been here in a while, it's a new owner who is really trying hard. The food was really great, we felt very comfortable and welcome.

Very pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff and varied menu. I went there for the first time today with my family and I will definitely go there again. We had Scharska and Gurmanska pljeskavica with large sopska salad, and our daughter had cevapcici with fries. Both pljeskavica were exactly what we expected and the sopska salad was simply delightful. My two-year-old daughter, the biggest critic, ate almost everything - so we assume the cevapcici were really good too. In my opinion, the prices are appropriate for today's times and conditions.

We always enjoy coming here. The service is very friendly and the food is really tasty. Since the new map came out, things have gotten even better. The terrace is nice on warm days and it's good to sit because the environment is so quiet. Very pleasant atmosphere. See you next time! :)

So the three of us ate there. I ordered a dish of rump steak with pepper sauce for just under €30. Food totally cold, including side dishes. A request from me to my counterpart, i.e. my fellow guest, also cold. I think it's a shame if you leave so much money, it should be right and then definitely with the rump steak. That is not how it works. Has been touched up, probably in the microwave. Conclusion for me never again. And that is the only opinion that prevails here in our neighborhood. Actually not a recommendation

The restaurant supported us at representing our traditional food at the german Parliament. The people were more than happy and satisfied. The food was delicious. We recommend it definitely!

Very nice owners, unfortunately the menu has been changed. Without fries and rice, no potpourri platter, etc. Even hot onions are no longer free. It's a real shame because we were regular guests.

Best pleskavica I ever tried and I tried a lot. All the grill dishes including the salads and the drinks choice are amazing and for very reasonable prices. I recommend to everyone to go try the love for good food they have there 👍

Pretty much a hidden gem. The food was amazing with just the right size of portions and the prices are great.

New management for us, there is nothing to complain about, completely satisfied... That used to be........ The complete abandonment of the old menu will probably scare away many regulars. Across multiple operators, we always eat the small potpourri platter with a little extra order. There is nothing comparable anymore. Almost all dishes now have 300g in the description of the meat content. We are over 60 and don't work underground. It was probably the last visit, a shame after so many years.

Last Saturday (June 3, 2024) I had the opportunity to try a dish from this restaurant for the first time and I was very positively satisfied. Very friendly service. I recommend it wholeheartedly and will definitely eat at this restaurant again.

Super friendly and competent boss and service team, cold beer, Coke Zero from glass bottles and the food was excellent. Good quality meat and crispy fries.

Dinner with 3 people, even though we ordered our food from the starter menu, very generous portions, lovingly prepared. We had fried scampi with salad and incredibly delicious garlic bread. A return visit is definitely planned. In summer there is a nicely decorated outdoor area. Not an inexpensive treat, but definitely worth the price!

The service was nice and quick, the portion was plentiful. The grill plate we chose tasted great. Gladly again!

Extremely unfriendly boss, don't go there if you value friendly hospitality

We haven't eaten so well in a long time and the P/L ratio is so extremely good. Even now, when the tax situation is making it difficult for restaurateurs, this restaurant maintains its prices and portion sizes The waiter is extremely friendly and funny and even the boss comes to the table completely casually for a short, interesting and funny conversation. We will definitely be on our next visit to Berlin come back here. Thank you again for the delicious schnapps on the house.👍😄

Yesterday we had lunch to take away. It was very tasty and everything was perfect. I can only recommend it. Always my pleasure.

The meat is typical of the Balkans, as is the case with many Croatians. It's not too dry and well fried. The cevapcici are delicious. What was noticeable was that instead of curry rice there was light rice, which was unfortunately made with too much butter and therefore tasted strangely sweet. It wasn't our case. That is also the big difference to many Croatians. Perhaps it is typical of North Macedonia. If in doubt, I would order more fries and skip the rice. When I visited last year it tasted different. You can't complain about the prices. Just under €19 for a large potpourri plate, just under €20 for a grill plate. The atmosphere is not Mitte, but Borsigwalde. Rather simple. It's not all Chanel, it's also Schlecker! Allow 5 to 10 minutes to look for a parking space and then plan the appropriate walk. It's crowded in the evenings because everyone in the area is at home.

Super lieber Empfang. Toller Kellner mit soviel Spaß an der Sache... Er hat seine Berufung gefunden 😉. Das Essen war auch sehr gut. Wir haben als Gruppe eine Vorspeise gehabt, die Käseplatte ist sehr zu empfehlen. Man konnte sich bei der Auswahl an Gerichten beinahe nicht entscheiden. Und die Portionen sind sehr groß. Rundum ein gelungener Abend 😊

This is the only restaurant in Berlin that has typical Macedonian cuisine. I recommend to everyone to try the taste of Balkans. Macedonian tradition brought to Berlin. Real professional... Highly recommended...

Ein Zufallsbesuch aufgrund der sehr guten Google-Bewertungen. Diese verstehen wir nach dem Restaurantbesuch allerdings nur vor dem Hintergrund des Preis-/Leistungsverhältnisses. Eine Hauptgericht kostet zwischen 10 und 20€. Wobei - sehr positiv!!!- man wählen kann zwischen kleinen und großen Gerichten. Das Essen war fair für den Preis, aber alles andere als überwältigend. Der Service ist gut, das Ambiente befriedigend.

Wir sind durch Zufall auf dieser sehr gepflegte Restaurant gestoßen. Bereits beim Eintritt wurden wir sehr sympathisch begrüßt. Offensichtlich sah man uns an, dass wir uns mit der Mazedonischen Küche nicht so auskennen. Sehr unaufdringlich empfahl uns der Gastwirt 2 Gerichte, die wir vielleicht sonst nicht gewählt hätten, aber die Empfehlung war Gold wert. So lecker. Auch die Getränke waren perfekt gekühlt. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall noch mal wieder, um auch die anderen Leckereien auszuprobieren.

Wir waren am Samstag mit einer Gruppe von 35 Leuten im Restaurant! Das Personal inklusive Chef war super nett auch wenn Sie an diesem Abend viel Stress hatten weil es sehr voll war! Das Essen war mega lecker und alles frisch zubereitet. So stelle ich mir einen schönen Abend mit Freunden vor. Danke nochmal an das gesamte Team des Staro Skopije für den schönen Abend!!!

Leckeres Essen, aufmerksame Bedienung und bei schönem Wetter sitzt man auch im Außenbereich sehr gut.

Wir waren heute das erste Mal dort. Das Essen war so sensationell lecker. Mit sehr viel Liebe angerichtet. Super Service nette Leute. Wir kommen definitiv wieder. 🙏

Essen war viel toller als erwartrt, unglaublich lecker. Service hätte eigentlich nur 2 Sterne verdient aber gut der arme Mann hat sich sehr laut im Sitzen mit na kippe im Mund auf der Terrasse neben den Essenden Gästen beschwert das er in seiner 8 Stunden Schicht leider nur 6 Zigaretten rauchen kann. Wir wurden auch nicht einmal gefragt ob es schmeckt. Unsere Gläser sind seid 30 min leer ich suche den Augen Kontakt hätten gerne noch ein oder 2 Runden geträne bestelt. Nun zahlen wir mit einer flasche wasser.

Sehr angenehme Atmosphäre. Reichliches Essen, also mit großem Hunger hingehen! Kaffee schmeckt auch. Bedienung sehr freundlich.

Das Essen ist sehr lecker. Die Bewirtung ist sehr freundlich und hat mit uns ein sehr nettes Gespräch geführt. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Die beste mit Schafskäse gefüllte Pleskiavica meines Lebens. Kross, perfekt gewürzt und gefüllt mit ebenso perfekten Beilagen.
