Staro Pizza & Pasta in München

Today was my first time at [name of pizza shop] – and definitely not the last time! The pizza was simply outstanding: crispy base, fresh ingredients and perfectly seasoned. You can immediately tell that the work here is done with love and quality. I would particularly like to highlight the friendly service – super warm and attentive without being intrusive. The ambience is cozy and inviting, ideal for a relaxed evening with friends or a quick bite in between. The price-performance ratio is also good – large portions at fair prices. If you love good pizza, you should definitely stop by here. Clear recommendation!

This review, especially for all the Indians visiting this restaurant, DO NOT. As soon as the owner got to know, I come from India, his tone towards the customers changed, he was not ready to explain the German language written in the menu, when I asked whether it was chicken or cow meat. While placing the order he took the order and then rudely said “CASH DENA HOGA VARNA NAHI HOGA, PHELE BATA RAHA HOON OR ELSE AAP LOGE LADNE MEIN HUSHAR HO”. After paying cash and sitting for 25 mins for a Pizza and pasta, I got the order where he knew we would need fork for the pasta. He did not serve it on purpose and when I asked for it, he asked me to come to the counter and take it myself. I sat there for 25 mins to eat and all that time the guy at the counter had been watching some weird Pakistan comedy show and in loud voice. When I asked him to pack my left over pasta ( as they tasted so so bad) he said “Pasta deke jao counter par”. Then 5 mins later, after he finished his video he took pasta in and packed it in a box and when asked for a plastic bag, replied “ hum log nahi rakhte “. In all it was a very very bad experience please do not fall for their trap of 7€ pasta or pizza. It’s not at all worth and I did have a very suffocating experience.

Good home service pizzas at a great price.

This is the so-called 'Spaghetti Bolognese' that we got. But Bolognese cannot be seen or tasted. This is the first time I've seen such a 'Bolognese' preparation with pieces of meat. The texture of the meat was absolutely disgusting and like chewing gum.

Disrespectful!!!!! This place is a disaster, I ordered a pizza with an aioli dip. I got a dip that tasted or smelled like New Year's rockets and burnt tires. So that smell from the dip made me vomit 3 times. The pizza is worse than €1 oven pizza at Lidl. This should be reported to the health department. Approaches bodily harm. THIS IS NOT EXCESSIVE!!!!

Regardless of the price, the pizzas are really okay and taste quite good. If you consider the price (all pizzas for €6) the shop is very good

I arrived at this restaurant at 4 p.m, the owner said right now he is in a break, I only can buy food from 6 p.m. But I didn’t see this information on the Google maps, and the door of this restaurant is open. Surprised. I was super hungry. So they don’t open at afternoon, just want to provide information here.

Very simple shop, but absolutely unbeatable prices. Considering that I get a 32cm pizza for €6, it's really okay. So to all students who want to eat cheaply, you've come to the right place.

Ugh, stupid. Scam!!!! That was a disgusting meal hey. They would be forcefully pulled in and basically forced to order. We each ordered a burger, then paid for a citizen's menu and received it without us wanting it. After waiting for a while, the citizen came I almost threw up just looking at it. The meat was dried out on the outside. Half of it was burned. The lettuce was old and looked limp. The tomato wasn't ripe. The fries were oily and cold. Now I have a stomach ache. Never again!!. Wouldn't recommend even to my worst enemies.

I waited an hour for the worst burger of my life. The fries that came with it were most likely from the day before. I only ate it because I was very hungry. Two days later I still had some in the toilet. The one star is for the friendliness of the delivery person and for the fact that the burger was hot.

honestly even if it's 6EUR for a pizza just don't eat it. it may sound very affordable, but taste wise it's like a hard bread with tomato sauce. i had a bad stomachache afterwards

We wanted to order food after a concert and decided on this delivery service due to its opening times. Extremely hungry, we arrived at the specified time to pick up our order, which was not handed to us by a very unfriendly employee and was sent away with the statement that the order had been “cancelled”. There should be a refund of the money the next day. So we left empty-handed and empty-stomach and ate somewhere else. And the promised refund? Exactly, of course there wasn't. 25€ wasted for such a terrible experience!! I would prefer to give 0 stars and can only advise you to give this restaurant a wide berth. ADDENDUM: Lieferando has now refunded us the money after there was no clarification with the restaurant.

One of the best pizza places in Munich. Excellent portion sizes for 6 euros. All food is freshly made, and the atmosphere is very clean and spacious. Owner is very very kind and friendly. Have been a regular here for months and it truly is the best in Munich!

You can always rely on Staro. No matter what time it was, the food was always good, and if something went wrong or took too long, there was always compensation. Also very friendly staff who deliver. Only recommended!

Very affordable pizza. All pizzas for 6 eur before 21 o'clock! Funghi has a surprising amount of mushrooms.

I don't know what else to say, I would strongly advise anyone not to order food here. Quite apart from the fact that the delivery took 30 minutes longer than stated and 22 euros for what I got was a complete disgrace, the pizza tasted extremely bad, I've never eaten such a disgusting pizza before, I felt sick afterwards and had a stomach ache. The pizza was extremely oily, really disgusting and some of the tomatoes and peppers were the stalks. The pizza was pre-cut really weird, so some pieces were smaller and others were almost half the pizza. Pizza was also soggy and completely full of oil🤢 My mouth still has that disgusting oil taste, I feel sick and my stomach hurts. I can well imagine the hygiene conditions there when I look at some of the other reviews. It's just bad that food control hasn't closed this store yet.

The best and most affordable pizzeria in Munich ! The owner is a very sweet and accommodating person. You can ask them to customise the pizza as per your liking ! Highly recommended for students or anyone who is looking for affordable pizzas, burgers and pastas .

Very small, inconspicuous and simple pizza + burger delivery service with seating and options for in-house consumption and self-collection! The ambience is unpretentious and more like a warehouse, but the staff is nice and uncomplicated! However, the Funghi + garlic pizza that was ordered "to take away" was large and only cost 6.00 euros (!) The taste was also A1, so we recommend it in general!

Quality of food absolutely terrible. Pasta and pizza were like rubber. The gentleman on the phone was totally unfriendly and said that's just how it is when there's a lot going on!

We ordered today on New Year's Eve just before midnight. Despite being New Year's Eve, the food arrived just a few minutes late, but we received an extra drink! The employees are nice, the food tastes good. I will definitely order here more often! :)

Wenn ich könnte würde ich 0 Sterne geben… Im Pizza war ein haar und die chicken Wings waren schwarz und verbrannt. Ich habe angerufen und gefragt was das soll und der meinte das ist normal das chicken Wings so schwarz sind .. Richtig ekelhaft Bitte schiebt euch Lieder eine Tiefkühl Pizza ein.

Habe vor Ort eine Dönerpizza bestellt, inkl. Getränk verdächtig günstige 7 Euro. Leider kam dann eine Pizza mit extrem wenig Belag, die eigentlich nach nicht viel geschmeckt hat. Es ist nicht schwer eine gute Pizza zu machen, aber diese hier war nochmal deutlich unter dem was man in einem kleinen Imbiss erwartet. Da hilft der günstige Preis leider auch nichts.

Bestellung ist nie bei uns angekommen, Geld aber abgebucht. Schlechtester lieferservice in München 0/10.

Haben ein Haar im Essen gefunden. Absolut frech gegenüber Kunden! Behauptet wir hätten das Haar selbst reingetan. Komischerweise war das Haar direkt oben zu sehen war, bevor wir überhaupt die Folie komplett weggezogen haben. Das einzige gute war, das dass Essen noch warm ankam, und sogar früher als angegeben.

Von draußen ganz schön aber wenn man reinkommt einfach nur wiederlich es stinkt und ist super heiß an der Kasse steht ein alter schmutziger Mann der einen ekelhaft angrinst! Also ich weiß nicht was bei ihm los ist aber er hat mich mit Schatzi und Herzchen angesprochen und danach pedophil angeschaut!!! Zur Pizza brauche ich gar nichts sagen dachte mir zuerst oha voll günstig aber ich hab wohl zu viel erwartet diese Pizza war ekelhaft super fettig und ölig und fast schwarz!!! Geht dort nicht hin der dönerladen neben an ist besser !

Bedienung ist nur ein älterer immer verschwitzter Mann der Facebook videos sehr laut anschaut. Laden nicht halal da er alkohol verkauft. Der Preis macht auch manchmal einfach keinen sinn und hygienisch ist der laden auch nicht. Hatte eine Lebensmittelvergiftung danach.

Ich habe meine Pizza selbst abgeholt. Selbst für die Wärme und das Teig würde ich 2/5 geben, aber da die Pizza war sehr günstig, gebe ich es +1.

Staro beste. Ein Muss für jeden Studenten mit begrenztem Budget. Vermutlich die einzige Pizzeria in München, wo man noch eine Pizza für 5€ bekommt.

Meine Bestellung kam etwa 5 minuten später als anfangs angegeben an (höchstens). Der Lieferzeitraum lag dennoch im zuvor angegebenen Fenster! Als Ausgleich wurde direkt ein Eis mitgeliefert… Zudem war das Essen sehr lecker! Ist also nur zu empfehlen 😊
