The food was excellent. We had Dürum. Excellent value for money. Service was very friendly.

That's not even worth 1 star to me. The supplier comes without change and tries to cheat.

Ordered there for the first time. They forgot my drink, so I had to call again. Well, the pizza was way too greasy, the croquette was soft and wobbly, the lettuce on the cheeseburger was old, the fries weren't cooked all the way through, and there were red cabbage crumbs in the wrapper. The taste was a 3 out of 10. We'll never order from there again.

Really good quality and flavor. The lahmacun and freshly baked bread are particularly noteworthy.

Unfortunately, our second visit wasn't like the first. We were there for lunch. Apparently, the family was busy preparing their own lunch, because more and more food was being brought out. We ordered a crouqe and a pizza. The crouqe arrived pretty quickly. Unfortunately, it could have stayed in the oven longer, as some spots were still in their original state and tasted just like that. The topping was good. The small bowl of sauce was just too small for the size of the crouqe. The pizza took an extra 5 minutes, which wasn't great considering we were the only guests. Hence the initial comment. The pizza also had salami instead of a margarita. My son was hungry, though. Nothing wrong with eating with the family. But if it's during opening hours, the customer should at least always be the priority.

At first glance very chic, but very greasy food, then there was a dead fly on the table, the salad was hardly edible because it was soaked in fat, the tzatziki was much too spicy, so it wasn't really tasty, then we wanted more salad but got more meat than salad, it is not recommended, we won't be coming back

I bought soup today and there was no meat in it, just water. What is that? I'll never buy it again.

I ordered a Dürüm, kebab arrived and it took an hour and a half for it to arrive, it was delivered cold and the wrong sauce, the wrong meat was definitely a cheek and then I had a really bad stomach ache so really not recommended.

It's a shame... whenever we're in Geesthacht, we go to the Stadt Grill. Now new name and new operators. Were there on April 8, 2025 and unfortunately 2 of 4 portions were returned as inedible. They were croques. They were so dry and hard that you couldn't even cut properly. It was like sand in my mouth. The only plus point is that the waitress took it back without any problem and did not authorize it. Now we have to look for a new place to eat for our Geesthacht visits.

I have never eaten more delicious food at a grill. The service and respect towards guests is simply great.

The taste is really okay. However, €10.50 for a big kebab is really a disgrace. The guys behind the counter don't look like they're interested in their work at all and are hanging out there in sweatpants.

Everything is very beautiful and delicious, the staff are very polite, especially the Lahmacun master.

Too bad. Ordered Grade 2 Gyros Croque. But instead of gyro meat there was rotisserie meat inside. A little bit of sauce. Meat was also very poor. There was a lot of tomatoes and lettuce. The croque itself was not crispy and with a 5 minute journey I would have expected a crispy croque. Also a bit small. I'm originally from Schwarzenbek and for that money I can get a croque that's a bit longer, much wider and better topped. Well, okay, then not here again. So it's a really disappointing shame for a croque.

It's just not the city grill anymore. Food was kind of sour, meat was bland, unfortunately that was nothing. I'll definitely never get anything here again.

Delivery was on time, but the kebabs were completely oversalted when cold and the meat was not cooked properly. There was also no response to the complaint. Will be returning the food on Tuesday and demanding my money back. Conclusion: In Geesthacht every kebab shop is damaged after the first deliveries....! UNFORTUNATELY. I asked to pick up the dirt, in vain and without demanding any money back, this was not complied with. I also have to bend over backwards for every euro. I'm really fed up!!! The customer isn't king, he's just being ripped off. Unfortunately I have to give it 1 star.

Meat was cold. Fries cold, dry and not edible. At 8:30 p.m. you only get the leftovers that have been lying around for a long time. Everything was cold in Donnerbox. An impudence. €8.50 To be thrown away. Hygiene can be improved. Some employees obviously have dirty clothing. The food was different at the old property. Too bad.

Ordered a croque and a cheeseburger at 6:45 p.m. A pizza arrived late at 7:02 p.m. When the delivery person asked, the answer was croques were out today, we just made pizza. Without consultation, something other than what was ordered was simply delivered and then returned straight away. Bad service, I think you can at least call first.

I have rarely experienced something so outrageous. Ordered online and delivered completely wrong, cold and burnt. To then tell me “sorry, brother, everything was empty” is cheeky. No apology or alternative offer. Never again

Before the renovation I really enjoyed eating the kebab box there. Now after the renovation I couldn't even eat half of it. I personally didn't like the salad at all and the tzatziki didn't taste like anything either. I probably won't go there again go.. Zero stars - overpriced and since the new owner the food is disgusting

Unfortunately it's just bad. We have always enjoyed ordering there for many years, but the quality has declined significantly in recent times. When I ordered the kebab plate, the fries were under the meat and therefore just mushy. Salad carelessly slapped on top. Also significantly less than usual, for €16, - no longer acceptable for us. After a telephone complaint, a new kebab plate was delivered, but it was just as poorly prepared. This is no longer the quality we were used to for years. For us it was definitely the last order there.

It was better for once, my family has always been happy so far, but recently things have become really bad, we always order a large bottle of Coke but get 2 cans, the fries are flabby and not seasoned well enough, which shocked me extremely The fact that the baklava wasn't sweet at all but tasted like garlic as if it had been fried in kebab oil is simply disappointing and strange that it only ever happens when we have it delivered because it isn't available locally so please make it better

I was with you for about 10 years and I get a Dürüm with onions and tomatoes even though I always say I don't like it and with the addition of hair for free, is that now the new topping? You've gotten really worse, it's a shame and then you have to pay €17 for a Dürüm and a Pom Döner if you have no idea about hygiene? Embarrassing performance

Every taste is different. This review is my personal opinion and therefore I can only speak from my experience. I'm sorry, but value for money is not right here. There are several "döner kebab shops" in the area and the city grill is on average 2 euros more expensive per dish. My flatbread was hard, like it was a little older. Lahmacun with kebab meat costs almost 10 euros and there was nothing special in terms of taste that might have justified the price. That's why I give it a (really well-intentioned) 3 stars.

The food is fresh and delicious. The amount of meat in the kebab is completely sufficient and satisfying. The reception is nice. I recommend it.

The food is super tasty and very fresh! Indoor and outdoor seating. Indoor seats are typically Turkish in style. Pizza rolls are filled with lots of cheese and you can choose between different dips. The kebab plate is very large, the salad is crunchy... and the taste of the cocktail sauce is hard to beat! Very nice team - everything was clean! I'll be back 🤗

Ordered from you again today. But unfortunately that was nothing. The price for the kebab plate in this mini version was way too expensive. The baklava was old and dry. I think you can do better.

Food arrived quickly. Unfortunately, something was forgotten again for the 3rd time in a row. Fries weren't very salty and weren't too salty. Kebab meat used to taste better. It's a shame, since the new owner things have gone downhill. Maybe you should focus on quality instead of quantity again. Since my youth I have always enjoyed eating at Stadtgrill, but since the change of ownership this was probably the last time and one less regular customer. A little tip: take the recessions to heart and act accordingly. I'm not the only Geesthachter who sees it that way.

It was my go-to kebab shop for many years, despite the countless competitors in the area. The last few times I was no longer so satisfied, especially since the prices have also increased more than with other providers. I also always appreciated that the salad was specially packaged with the kebab plate when it was sold outside the home - this also seems to have been eliminated now.

Doner kebabs now cost over €8, which is incomprehensible. Everyone should earn money. But that's not nice anymore! I walked out of a store for the first time.

So we ordered food today You can tell from the quality of the meat that it was taken out of the freezer and then prepared. Unfortunately it arrived quite watery and soggy and taste-wise not recommended. I added that I wanted the meat without breading. Of course it arrived here with the breading. .. also the rice that came with it was burnt... for almost 20€ below the mark!!! The next thing was the calzone, which arrived pretty poorly. The salads mainly only consist of one type, hardly any other types as you would expect with a mixed salad.. hardly any tomatoes etc.. Feta, which should actually be included as it was a Greek salad, it wasn't there at all and there was sauce There was little to it so that the salad unfortunately became too dry. The crispy burgers taste good but not enough chicken...too much salad.

Ich habe einen Croque Schinken über Lieferando.de bestellt. Dort kann man die Uhrzeit angeben wann das Restaurant liefern soll! 45 min. zu spät !! Das Essen war ok. Das Baguette war etwas papsig aber die Cocktail Sauce war sehr lecker. Zusätzlich gab es Leckerein als Geschenk.

Lange nicht so einen guten Döner gegessen

Das Essen schmeckt nicht, der Salat war welk und die Pommes roh. Ausserdem versucht der Inhaber die alte Bewertungen die der Wahrheit entsprechen löschen zu lassen.

Letzte Bestellung leider wieder nicht zufriedenstellend. Dönerfleisch war nicht von guter Qualität. Pizza konnte man essen war aber auch nichts besonderes. Dann lieber woanders hin. :-)

Update: Was für eine Frechheit, die ehrlichen Kommentare zu melden damit sie gelöscht werden!!!!!! Nicht mit mir! Leider war der Döner nicht so lecker wie damals. Die Qualität hat sehr stark nachgelassen. Der neue Besitzer hätte mal bei der guten Qualität bleiben sollen. Preise wurden stark angehoben und die Menge der Gerichte hat abgenommen. Sehr schade, habt leider einen treuen Kunden verloren. Trotzdem viel Glück weiterhin.

Essen frisch und lecker! Pizzen auch sehr zu empfehlen! Service ist super! Die jungen Verkäufer könnten gerne noch mehr aus sich heraus kommen zur Kompetenz. Chef als Vorbild Einfach mal probieren.

Essen ist lecker, aber Personal wenig freundlich und viel zu lange Wartezeiten.

Das Essen ist wirklich sehr gut und das Personal außerordentlich freundlich. Außerdem war das Essen schnell fertig. Negativ zu erwähnen sind lediglich die Toiletten, die sind sowohl vom Ambiente als auch der Sauberkeit verbesserungswürdig. Alles in allem ist dieses Lokal sehr empfehlenswert.
