Sportheim Westerheese in Geesthacht

After I first sent the owner an email, but unfortunately didn't receive a response, here it is. The food was really good, but even though we had ordered the menu weeks in advance (for a confirmation), we had to wait three hours for the food. Drinks took 30 minutes. We sat in the restaurant from 1:30 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. We had to wait for everything; the vegetarian and meat platters weren't delivered together, so we couldn't even eat together. I can't recommend this restaurant for larger parties. I can't comment on a regular visit, but I wouldn't want to try it either.

I bought meat meat twice, the doner kebab was delicious, but the problem was that there was very little meat in it both times. In Germany, there is usually a lot of meat inside the doner and I usually have a hard time finishing it. This one had more salad than meat. I wasn't satisfied when I bought two. I will buy it again, if the meat content increases, I will increase my score to 5.

I placed the order at 5:50 p.m. – I followed up after 1.5 hours (!) and it was supposed to take "only" another 20 minutes – and after a total of 2 hours, I followed up again with the reply that no one was available on site. No thanks.

What happened... we always loved eating there. Unfortunately that's all gone after today, the fried noodles were so spicy that the children couldn't eat them, the baked duck came with three different bowls. Once the duck, the solid rice and an indefinable soup or sauce with vegetables and three shrimps that were even hotter than the noodles. Wonton was just fried puff pastry. We then only helped ourselves to the mini rolls. There's a star for that because at least they tasted good. Too bad...

Tasty salad, good pizza, good prices! Nice ambience: fresh cut flowers, beautiful house plants!
