There were four of us. At the time of our visit on an early Saturday evening, it was surprisingly quiet. Which was all the better for us because we had our own seating! A friendly waitress greeted us and brought us the menus. The restaurant area is invitingly decorated and feels very cozy. We took a seat by the window. The food we ordered was absolutely delicious. We ordered Finkenwerder-style fish and rump steaks, which were cooked to perfection. It came with baked and fried potatoes, salad, and drinks. The portions were large and filling. We all enjoyed the food. The restaurant area and the restrooms were clean. The ambiance is inviting and cozy. There are large portions, friendly service, and parking right outside. We really enjoyed it and will be back!

Today, five of us ate on the terrace in glorious weather. Even our advance phone reservation was extremely pleasant and helpful. The waitress was very friendly and accommodating, even though she was alone and very busy. The food was truly delicious and plentiful. A real insider tip for both meat and fish lovers. We've been there a few times and have never been disappointed. We'd love to come back!

After I first sent the owner an email, but unfortunately didn't receive a response, here it is. The food was really good, but even though we had ordered the menu weeks in advance (for a confirmation), we had to wait three hours for the food. Drinks took 30 minutes. We sat in the restaurant from 1:30 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. We had to wait for everything; the vegetarian and meat platters weren't delivered together, so we couldn't even eat together. I can't recommend this restaurant for larger parties. I can't comment on a regular visit, but I wouldn't want to try it either.

Oh, it was so beautiful and delicious there again...on Mother's Day, and then there was a large confirmation party; the place was quite packed! But the service was still very good and attentive; with only one real flaw: The waitress doesn't rush ahead of the guests; they can move quickly and briskly, but not rush; that gives the impression of being hectic, and that bothers the guests! Otherwise, everything was great...and we'll definitely be back!!! 👍👌👋

Food was 1 A. But if a confirmation party (13 people) orders a meal for lunch that was not a le cart, i.e. a previously selected menu, then as a guest I expect to be finished with the meal in 2.5 hours at the latest. And not like it was with us that we only left after about 2 hours and 45 minutes. the main course is served. Highly recommended for times of day, but not for groups that want to reserve.

It's just an inn. It has been renovated and whether everyone likes the colors is a matter of taste. The food was great, enjoyable and of high quality. The service was impeccable and always with a friendly smile. The prices are humane for today's conditions. I definitely recommend it and will come back.

The food was good, unfortunately the rosemary potatoes had turned into potato wedges with rosemary sprigs without notice. Unfortunately, the service was largely invisible despite low utilization. So the momentum to order coffee or dessert was missed. There would have been more sales. Furnishings are rather rustic but cozy.

Today I was there with someone for the first time. There was turkey steak from the Easter menu, even though we were surprised that the normal menu was "out of order". The food was still very tasty, it just took a little longer because it was busy. Many guests also had a longer journey there, the service was okay given the busyness. We were able to chat undisturbed in the square and I will definitely eat there again.

The parking spaces are right in front of the restaurant! If the spaces are occupied, there are still some options to park the vehicle on the side streets! As soon as we walked through the door into the restaurant, we were greeted warmly and friendly and asked what we wanted. We had reserved and were taken straight to our seat. There was a nicely decorated table there for us. The ambience is pleasant. After everyone was seated, we were immediately asked what drinks we wanted. We were briefly informed about this and were then able to concentrate on the menu. There are two menus to choose from for lunch, one for fish dishes and one for normal home cooking. Both menus include a starter, a main course and a dessert. There is also a normal selection of dishes. The food is simply great! Freshly and very tasty prepared. The price-performance ratio is really well calculated and the portions are enough to fill you up. The service is friendly and very accommodating! Can highly recommend the place! Top 😎

I expected more. The atmosphere in the room is very old, heavy, dark curtains, yellowed walls, and some very old furniture and confusingly laid cables are the first things you notice. On the positive side, there is a ramp for wheelchair users at the entrance, but the door threshold afterwards should be mastered with a little help. The quality of the food was fine and the quantity of food was sufficient. Prices have risen everywhere at the moment, the most expensive dish costs around 35 euros. The service employees were nice, but a little overwhelmed when it came to answering a question about the bill.

We (my wife, a good friend and I) had dinner here to start a nice evening at the cinema. I reserved a table for 5:30 p.m. on a Tuesday. The inn was not very busy at that time, so we were able to choose where we wanted. This is also the case in the parking lot in front of the inn. The service (a very friendly young woman) responded to us promptly and nicely. The chosen drinks and food were brought quickly. And the service requests were friendly and not intrusive in any way. The food served (2 x grilled plates and grilled lamb fillet) was beautifully prepared, the portion was optimal and the taste was a delight for the palate. All three of us felt that way. Nothing was left on a plate, everyone was satisfied and full. The price is reasonable and completely justified. There is a small downside: there were three of us sitting at a table for four. I don't know whether there would have been room for a fourth person, it would definitely have been tight. But now I'm a big person and I probably see it a little too critically. A conclusion: Service friendly and competent, not intrusive 5 stars Food lovingly prepared and excellent in taste, portions optimal 5 stars Atmosphere lovingly and hospitably furnished, (a bit cramped) 5 stars We'd love to come back.

Wir waren schon öfter dort, auch zum Mittagstisch und waren eigentlich immer recht zufrieden. Deshalb haben wir für den 2. Weihnachtstag einen Tisch bestellt und mussten leider feststellen, dass das keine so gute Wahl gewesen ist. Die Küche war anscheinend überfordert und das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis stimmte nicht. Meine Gänsekeule für 35 Euro wurde zu lange warm gehalten und war so trocken wie der Rotkohl im Apfel, die obere Schicht war hart. Der Hirschbraten war gut, das Dessert wurde in einem Minischälchen serviert und hätte für den Preis gern etwas größer sein können. Für 2 Personen haben wir 100 Euro bezahlt, halt Feiertagsgspreise, für die wir dann aber auch 2 entsprechend gute Gerichte erwartet haben. Sehr positiv waren die freundlichen Kellnerinnen, die sich sehr viel Mühe gegeben haben.

Ein gemütliches ländliches Restaurant mit ruhiger Atmosphäre und freundlichem Personal. Schöne Ergänzung zu einer sonnigen herbstlichen Wanderung durch Geesthacht. Wir waren um die Mittagszeit hier und hatten zwar nicht von der Mittagskarte bestellt, aber trotzdem Suppe und Nachtisch bekommen. Aller hat hervorragend geschmeckt. Insbesondere möchte ich den Gemüseauflauf loben, wobei die Kartoffeln dort aus meiner Sicht überflüssig waren, da noch Reis als Beilage dabei war 🍂🍁

Tolles Laden für kleine bis mittelgroße Familienfeiern. Das ganze Team ist super freundlich.

Der Lachs schmeckte, obwohl er frisch war, wie TK Ware. Der Koch muss wirklich einen heftigen Intus haben, um das so zu versauen (4 Personen haben das Lachsgericht bestellt, alles schmeckte wie draufgetreten). Der Rest war aber gut und vorallendingen die Bedienung war sehr freundlich.
