Speiselokal Seeblick in Rheinsberg

...great German cuisine...always happy to come back...and Flensburger from the barrel...very rare to find here...

The kiosk was unfriendly when we arrived with 10 people. She told us to hurry up; she was really busy. €5 for a small plate of fries plus 40 cents for ketchup... almost €10 for fries with nuggets, even though there were three on the plate. It's just sad, really... if they'd at least been friendly and the food had tasted good, it would have been a few more stars.

We arrived at 11:34 a.m. and were very pleased to see from the lake that the restaurant was open. So we moored at the beach because we were hungry. There was a display on the street listing the dishes on offer (pike-perch, other types of fish, various types of schnitzel). When we arrived at the self-service counter, a more detailed menu awaited us, with prices that were at least exorbitant for self-service. ("I know... the inflation rate... we'll survive, too.") The sign stated that the owners are 78 years old. (Personally, I take my hat off to that age and physical fitness. From personal experience, I'm happy that people of that age still like to help and be part of the team, especially if they're part of their own family. However, guests are always greeted politely and not with moans that we have other things to do. Taking care of other things in our circles means a meal for weddings of 70-100 people, not a medium-sized plate of fries for €5.00 and €0.40 for fries sauce/ketchup. I know, the usual classic response is always: "I don't know where you ate, but definitely not with us, because we're always nice and friendly!" At this point, at the very latest, it should be questioned how the person who posted the information knows the age and the prices. Happy continued existence.

I've been coming here since the early 90s, and there aren't many places left that still serve traditional regional cuisine. It's always like a little trip back in time, and it's still great. I can only highly recommend it; anyone who appreciates good food will definitely enjoy coming here.

The food was delicious and, above all, homemade. Good old-fashioned home cooking.

The schnitzel was too salty, the fried potatoes had barely been cooked, and the mushrooms were from a can!!! There's no way this was "food like mom made." A self-service snack bar with completely overpriced prices.

She's one of a kind 😍and at 78, she does it all. Cooking and service. The food is made with so much love and tastes exceptionally good. We'll definitely be back.

Nice and cozy, just right after a walk

I highly recommend this small, owner-operated restaurant. It's beautifully located away from the tourist crowds (like around Rheinsberg Castle, for example). The owner is very friendly, and the food is delicious and reasonably priced. If you have the time and inclination, you can also visit the beach or the Alfred Wegener Museum around the corner 👍 (I also recommend it).

A true insider tip with heart and flavor! We discovered this charming restaurant quite by chance – and what luck! The owner is incredibly warm and friendly, making you feel welcome from the very first moment. The food was excellent: fresh, perfectly prepared, and full of flavor. The kids loved it too. Although the restaurant isn't particularly big and isn't located in the city center, it had exactly that: a relaxed, intimate atmosphere with a beautiful lake view. For us, it was perfect all around. We would definitely come back!

I definitely recommend this special snack. The food is prepared, presented and served by a very friendly older lady. Hats off! We ate currywurst and fries and it was a very good portion, even with a large salad garnish. We sat comfortably outside and had a fantastic view of the lake. The prices are reasonable.

Went to Seeblick for lunch today. Since we didn't know exactly when it would open, we arrived half an hour early. But we were still served immediately. The food was delicious and the portions were large. It tasted like mother's. Really good home cooking and really freshly prepared. The menu is manageable but there should be something for everyone. The price-performance ratio is quite okay for today's times. It's easy to talk to the operator, a nice 77-year-old lady who does everything herself. Finally, we took three pieces of cheesecake with us for coffee. We'll definitely like it too, it certainly looks delicious. After a more or less strenuous day, we were pointed out that we could have a good meal at Seeblick. The operator is 77 years old and only does her cooking as a hobby. Orders are mainly placed outside at the window. Basically "ordering" drinks and food yourself and picking them up, so only 1* for the service, which is meant rather kindly if you know the background. Very nice too, food is also available to take away. The home cooking is manageable but fantastically good! Rustic, well-spiced, good-bourgeois, just like I used to know from my grandma's and if you come with small children who know how to behave to some extent (don't make a lot of mess or do what they want) everything is great! I really recommend the schnitzel with egg although my wife also raved about the schnitzel with cream mushrooms. P. S. Toilets around the house but timeless and above all nice and clean! Were very very satisfied.

Lovingly run family business with good home cooking. Finally a large cola again, something like that almost doesn't exist anymore. We had delicious schnitzel in record time 10 minutes. We will definitely be back. Greetings from Thuringia 👍😀

Also nachdem bei Google gute Bewertungen vorhanden waren sind wir dort mit der Familie zum Abendessen .Dies sollte auf alle Fälle um 19 Uhr beendet sein weil dann ist Feierabend in diesem Selbstbebienungs na ja Restaurant ist es ja zumindest vom Preis her. Das Essen mag gut sein aber Preis Leistung passen hier nicht. Für mich ist das nicht mehr als eine überteuerte Immbissbude. Wer wenig Anspruch hat und etwas mehr Geld ausgeben will ist hier richtig. Es gibt auch keine große Konkurrenz

Plain and simple, but food tastes delicious and is freshly prepared. And the admirable thing is - the good soul of the house is 77! And still fit and active in the kitchen and serving. Seems to be a real multi-generational family business.

Small restaurant with a small menu. But everything is freshly prepared. We arrived 15 minutes before the restaurant closed and were warmly served and cooked for by the owner. Good, tasty home cooking at acceptable prices. If we're back in the region, we'll be happy to come back there.

Very dear owner, the food was very, very tasty and everything on the plate was lovingly prepared, the prices are also completely reasonable, the ambience has a very nice view of the lake outside and it is also cozy inside. I'd love to come back when I'm in the area.

Rustic, small restaurant run by a pensioner alone as a hobby. So there is a limited selection of food. The food was completely fine. From the window you have a direct view of the lake. The tough and fit pensioner has my respect for her performance 👍🏻

Very, very nice owner, already of retirement age (which you can't tell from looking at her). Nevertheless, she makes food, cakes and drinks for her guests every day with a lot of love 🍀 The food was amazing...everything was perfectly seasoned. Schnitzel fresh and fried to perfection. Cream champions creamy and delicious. The fries are above and beyond...the best we've had in a long time. The side salad was very fresh, made from cucumbers, tomatoes, white cabbage and grated carrots...A culinary delight...Everything was clean and tidy all around. We recommend. We will be back. Essen wie bei Mutti zu Hause Es gibt hier einfache aber sehr leckere Speisen. Die Teller sind gut gefüllt und die Preise moderat . Wir mussten heute leider mit anhören und sehen wie sich 4 Rentner aus OHV unmöglich und respektlos der 77 jährigen Köchin, die die Arbeit noch als Hobby betreibt , entgegen getreten sind 🤨 Wir wünschen und hoffen das solche Kundschaft die Ausnahme bleibt .

Food is home-cooked as home cooking by a 76-year-old cook. Great price performance. Small drawback, you can't mix the side dishes and have to take the dishes as directed. Still highly recommended.

Wir waren auf der anderen Seite der Straße über den See mit dem Kanu angekommen. Das kleine Lokal sieht sehr einfach aus. Die nette Oma in der Küche kocht alles frisch. Ob Schnitzel, Zander, Bratkartoffeln, ... sieht einfach aus und schmeckt absolut lecker. 😋 Sie hat den ganzen Tag warme Küche. Nur zu empfehlen.

Die Inhaberin ist sehr nett und sehr hilfsbereit, das Essen ist schnell da und der Preis ist günstig. Leider schmeckt das Essen nicht gut, das Frittierfett scheint für alle Speisen und zu lange genutzt zu werden. Es schmeckt nach altem Fett, Pommes vollkommen versalzen und die Salate sind nicht frisch, eher aus dem Eimer.
