I'm totally thrilled, the service was great and very nice. It was full house but the waiting times were still ok. Price okay too. Great ambience, great place and the food was great. We would love to come back.

Very good and tasty food, pizza bread with garlic, salami pizza and spaghetti carbonara. 😋 Spaghetti with shrimps and tagliatelle with salmon for the second time today, very good and inexpensive dishes. The red wine Primitivo and the raspberry melon soda are also very tasty, you can definitely recommend Solino and the service is very good and friendly. We're from Dresden and we'd like to come back if it weren't so far.

We ate there for the first time today with our two children. Super nice staff, great prices & the pizzas are simply huge. Extremely delicious.

I don't mind if it takes longer to get served if the store is full. This usually means fresh food. But here the whole thing borders on impertinent. Drinks came very quickly. It took 50 minutes from ordering the food to serving it. And not everyone at the table had their food yet. The last one got it after about 65 minutes. The same thing happens with dessert. Two sundaes arrived 20 minutes after ordering. The remaining dessert another 30 minutes later. After the request to pay, it took about 30 minutes until something happened. The service seemed completely overwhelmed by all the guests in the store. The taste of the food was okay. Nothing extraordinary, but acceptable. We will not visit this store again and cannot recommend it.

Modern, rustic atmosphere. Spacious terrace. Right in the center. Uncomplicated house. Parking garage nearby. Italo Kitchenstyle on the plate. Huge pizzas. Really, really big. Brings a lot of hunger. The dishes could be served a little more innovatively. The eye also wants something to enjoy. Refreshing lemonades, Köstritzer Kellerbier. Top Vitello Tonnato. Super friendly, competent and attentive staff. Number one for us: Kevin Kiel. That's how service works. But the other colleagues were also very nice. Price-performance okay.

Sehr leckere Speisen und ein toller Service und alles in einem sehr stylischen Ambiente! Ich war bereits mehrfach im Solino und kann dieses Restaurant wärmstens empfehlen. Egal ob Pasta, Pizza oder auch die Vorspeisen. Es ist sehr lecker!

The pizza !!!!! A delicious touch thin and super crispy. And when the weather is wonderful you can sit in a beautiful beer garden. The staff polite and accommodating. I would happily recommend it.

We're currently testing our way through Gera, and yesterday we were in the city center at the highly touted Solino... And we were treated in an absolutely friendly, attentive and homely manner until shortly before 5 p.m. The waitress is by far one of the few golden pearls in this city, but then her service was over and she politely asked if she could cash in on us, but of course Can we continue to order, it's just for your checkout... okay, no problem... Only the next shift was probably not in the mood for us... They flagged us - silently with a disparaging look - a reservation sign on the table, okay, we still have a grace period of 6:30 p.m.... but they simply didn't serve us anymore 🤷🏼‍♀️ neither came The 3 female service staff approached us, nor the male one, but we didn't say anything at first, after another half hour and countless runs past our table by the staff, we had neither drinks nor the opportunity to order dessert because everyone was too Cards were taken from the table without a word... what's going on? In short, we weren't served for 1.5 hours, even though our glasses and bottle of wine were obviously empty... worst service in Gera from the staff from 5 p.m.... When it comes to food, we can say it's super tasty, even the pickled tomatoes are homemade... Big praise to the kitchen and once again big praise to the gold pearl in the team, who unfortunately had to finish her duties... We find the price/performance ratio - given so much manual work - to be completely justified... Unfortunately, the evening service team as a whole costs you 2 stars

I've always been happy with everything I've ordered. Fancy pizza today. Pizza arrived in under 5 minutes - it should have made me suspicious. After the first quarter it was clear to me: pre-baked and warmed up. Actually it doesn't work at all.

I especially like to drive several km to Gera just to get into the lassangne. Wouldn't be bad if it was bigger. 1 doesn't fill you up when you're hungry. I think all the bad posts are a rumor :D

Solino is an impressive restaurant. I've only eaten pizza here so far and have never been disappointed! The pizzas are really big but also thin. You will definitely be full! The price is a bit higher, but I think you can taste it when you eat it too! Definitely not low quality. A little tip: order a cucumber soda as a drink (if you like cucumber) 😉

Sent away on Sunday at 7:30 p.m. due to alleged overcrowding despite free places. What's that supposed to mean.

Was at Solino for the third time today, the service was very good again, but the food was miserable today. Tagliatelle frutti del mare. Not beautifully presented and there was hardly any seafood on it. I know this dish completely differently. I've had it with many Italians and other restaurants ate this. The price of €16.80 is also not appropriate. I won't eat there again.

We ordered on Sunday. My girlfriend wasn't feeling well at all. After the meal it was pretty good for me and I ordered there for the first time and I have no idea whether it was really the food or something else but I've had that before but I don't want to badmouth it. Still, the food looked good visually. Still have a nice day.

I've never eaten so badly. There were 5 of us eating and we had 5 different dishes! Only one of the 5 dishes tasted good! The bill was a hefty €125 for the worst meal in our lives. Zero price/performance ratio! Everyone was very disappointed! Never again!

Very inflexible, partly due to unfriendly and slow service. I had a Puzza Gambaretti with at least 6 shrimps. The edge was very well baked, but the base was very soggy. My conclusion: Tried it once and there won't be a second visit on my part.

A very average experience. 3 of us ordered steaks - two rare, one medium-rare - and we got fully cooked steaks. They even forgot which was which, but it didn't matter. They were all overcooked. Service was slow, but they had a packed house, so I get it.

Nice waiters, delicious and authentic Italian food, exotic lemonades and a very nice ambience. Very comfortable, you can linger and switch off here, at least in the afternoon/early evening during the week.

Unacceptable behavior from employees. Didn't feel like working and didn't want to do anything anymore. They don't take orders properly and don't bring it to the table properly for the guests.

The service on site was very nice and courteous. The bruschetta for starters was very good. The pizzas were ok, unfortunately slightly burnt on the bottom. The crispy dough is a matter of taste and they were also a bit sparsely topped. The restaurant itself is quite noisy, probably due to the large number of tables. Our place wasn't that nice because a band was setting up their equipment right next to us the whole time. Despite reservations and repeated requests, we were not given another table. Our waiter was always friendly and helpful. All in all - an average Italian.

I have been here many times and always satisfied, but for me this visit was the last: It was a pleasantly warm Friday evening and me and my companion were looking forward to dinner in this restaurant. When we asked for a table we were already barked at by a waiter: “NOTHING FREE!” IF ONLY OUTSIDE!" After this greeting, we didn't think anything else and looked for a table outside. Food and drinks in a short time and in the usual quality. However, what happened next to us during our visit defied any description: every potential guest who dared to try to sit down at one of the numerous free tables was barked at by the waiter in the following manner: RESERVED? NO? THEN YOU WILL NOT BE SERVED HERE! WE HAVE NO STAFF!... After these guests (there were approx. 10 GROUPS OF PERSONS) were scared away in this way, the waiter in question vomited on the guests who had just been driven away: either grumbling to himself or standing at their table in front of other guests! I have never experienced the latter in a restaurant and left me speechless, horrified: a waiter driving away customers... Overall, I suspect that he was on coke: this mixture of aggression and hyperbole is a clear indication. This behavior totally ruined my visit to the restaurant: the loud and aggressive behavior of this waiter made me fear that we would be the next to get rid of our fat, and that's how it happened: the said waiter brought us our food and barked at us about who was which dish receives. My companion mixed up the dishes in the rush and our plates had to be swapped again. This waiter's reaction: "YOU JUST SAID THAT YOU GOT THIS DISH AND NOW NOT!!! ... HAHAHA" Since my companion's native language was not German, she didn't understand him correctly. Apparently he was making fun of it. For me it was a disastrous visit and the last... Farewell Solino

In Gera there is a very good restaurant Solino with Italian cuisine. This restaurant offers very tasty dishes and nice staff. The restaurant is very clean, which is a big plus.

The visit to Solino was very good. The food was incredibly tasty, the atmosphere was good, the service was okay, the waitress could have come to the table 1-2 times more often, but overall it was very good there.

My wife and I have been there several times and would love to come back. The service was always very nice, quick and completely satisfactory. The food is very tasty and the portions are generous. We usually had pizza. Once I tried the salmon and what can I say: it was incredibly good! The price/performance ratio is very good.

Due to our lack of time, we spontaneously asked if we could eat and drink within an hour and this service was promptly fulfilled The taste of the food was absolutely brilliant and I would definitely recommend both

One of the worst carbonara. The photo speaks for itself. It was an egg supper. The waitress said that they had problems yesterday. But she didn't respond with an espresso or a few euros discount. A pity.

Went for dinner for the second time and it's always an experience.

The ambience is very nice and the food is good to ok. I've been eating there regularly, but my last two visits were rather disappointing. On the penultimate visit, the service was very friendly and the food was served quickly. Then it was time to wait...everyone around got their food except us. At some point I asked and was told that the pizzas are quicker than my salmon. I'm terribly sorry, but that's not acceptable. It's not your fault that I have to wait 45 minutes for my food. Now we wanted to give it another chance because we've always been satisfied so far. The restaurant was almost empty. We ordered the drinks and said that we still needed time for the food as we hadn't decided yet. Less than 3 minutes later the waiter stood next to us and wanted to know what we would like to eat... even though it was obvious that someone was still actively looking at the menu. You felt slightly pressured and ordered food. While we ate we didn't ask if everything was OK. Our empty glasses were also ignored. At some point we asked the waiter to come to the table and ordered our two drinks. And nothing happened. We had only just started eating when we ordered. After we had already eaten three quarters of it, we asked if they had forgotten us. You seriously get the answer as to whether we can see that we are not the only guests. I kept a close eye on the service. There were enough empty aisles where we could have had our drinks. An employee stood around for minutes with nothing to do. I'm sorry, but waiting over 10 minutes for 2 drinks isn't possible. Unfortunately we are very disappointed and I don't know if we will come back again.

So first of all, the food was delicious and there's nothing to complain about. The 3 stars are because the service on the second visit was even worse than on the first visit. During our first visit on the 2nd of Advent we tolerated the service inadequacies and booked a table for January 6th. ordered. The order book was empty at the time. Now the evening of evenings came, the 73rd birthday was to be celebrated. We got a table right next to the entrance, where it was cold, which wasn't great for a 73 year old or children. In addition, there were always guests standing around who entered the restaurant and had to wait until they were shown to their tables or were turned away due to reservations. Some of them stood so close to the table that you could touch their jackets. So it was uncomfortable. Our request whether we could get another table was strictly rejected because the free tables were reserved. Ok, if these tables are explicitly reserved, then that is the case. I can't say when they were reserved because the tables remained free throughout our entire stay. Then it continued. If you order a Cola-Weizen, you get a Diesel (Pilsner with Cola). After a complaint I got something that looked like Cola-Wheat. The next inflexible point came afterwards. After a main course, one of our table was still a bit hungry because the main course wasn't enough for him. He couldn't have made a whole pizza, which is why he asked for a children's portion of pizza (which is available if a child orders it). The answer here, no, because children's pizzas are only for children. I can perhaps understand it if there hadn't already been a main course for the person. At least there was no way in. I'll leave out other little things here for now. I won't be back any time soon.

Das Essen, in meinem Fall Spaghetti Carbonara, war leider nicht so toll, es schmeckte angebrannt und in der Mitte war so eine Art Rührei entstanden. Der Service war schnell und nett. Die Preise auf der Speisekarte vor Ort waren höher als die auf der Homepage veröffentlichten.

Essen war okay soweit aber es gibt definitiv bessere Pizzen. Pizza zu groß, zu wenig Belag und Teig sehr dünn und trocken.

Hier kann man lecker Döner und Bürger essen.
