Soli de Gloria in Hannover

My friends and I have almost become regulars. We love coming here for drinks in the evenings. The staff are all so lovely. The apple strudel is especially delicious!

I've visited Soli de Gloria several times and have always been completely satisfied. The staff are always friendly, attentive, and go the extra mile. The food and drinks are consistently delicious, and the value for money is excellent. I especially appreciate the cozy atmosphere, both inside and out. It's a truly lovely place to relax.

A very nice restaurant where you can feel very comfortable even on a packed Friday evening. We held our Christmas party there, and everything went perfectly, from the reservation to paying the bill. The service was very attentive, only friendly faces – it couldn't be better. A 100% recommendation from me!

Great drinks. All the food is excellent. What I really appreciate is how clean it is – you can't say that about all the shops in town.

Only for breakfast. It could be presented more nicely. The fruit was just thrown on top, the rolls were very, very bad – cheap, pre-baked goods – and the coffee was very bitter. Unfortunately, I can't recommend it, which is a shame.

I would go back to this restaurant every time. Not only is the food incredibly delicious and reasonably priced, but we were also served by a super friendly waitress named Jacqueline. Nice ambiance, friendly and fast service, short wait times, and all in a pleasant atmosphere. I had the vegan Gloria Bowl with warm quinoa, falafel, salad, avocado, beetroot, nuts, and cranberries. It arrived super quickly, tasted delicious, and the portion size was really generous.

This was our second time here, and we absolutely loved it. The waiters were all particularly friendly, especially Ihlian. A lot of love goes into the food and the ambiance, and you can tell. We had some of the best pasta at Gloria. They also serve good desserts.

There's something truly special about Soli Deo Gloria. No excessive frills, just a restaurant that impresses with its tranquility and quality. The atmosphere is cozy, the lighting warm, and you immediately notice that the emphasis is on good food and friendly service. The team is attentive without being intrusive; you simply feel welcome. The food was truly delicious, freshly cooked, perfectly seasoned, and beautifully presented. The main course was particularly outstanding, but the accompanying dishes were also spot on. You sit there, eat, chat, and lose track of time for a bit—that's exactly how it should be. For me, it's one of those restaurants where you can tell that heart and craftsmanship go hand in hand.

My tarte flambée was good, as was the salmon lasagna, although the salmon was dry and not juicy, unfortunately... for 3 euros more. The veal Wiener schnitzel was a complete joke in my opinion; I've never heard or seen schnitzel made in a deep fryer, and they looked the part. To ruin a typical German dish like that is a disgrace, especially for this price. The cook should be ashamed!!! For 4.8 out of 5 stars, you should expect more. And google how to do it properly. The dessert was okay... unfortunately, nothing special for me.

I've been here several times and have always been satisfied. There's comfortable seating inside and outside. Larger groups can also be accommodated on the first floor, and it worked out perfectly. I'd like to give special mention to Trang Le and Anh Bach, the staff at Soli de Gloria.

If you enjoy delicious food and a pleasant atmosphere with a view, this is the place for you. The outdoor area is also very nicely designed and distracts from the pedestrian zone, which is unfortunately not quite as appealing.

Not only was the food incredibly delicious. The burger was perfectly prepared and presented with love, but the quality of the ingredients was immediately apparent. The staff was super friendly, attentive, and made you feel completely at home. The ambiance is also very inviting, cozy, stylish, and relaxed at the same time, making you feel immediately welcome. I can truly recommend Soli de Gloria to anyone who wants to enjoy good food in a great atmosphere. One thing is for sure: I will definitely go back again and again!

I like this restaurant. It has a nice atmosphere, wonderful staff, delicious food and cocktails. The only thing that surprised me was the Eggs Benedict for breakfast. The photo shows that it's a fried egg, not a delicate Benedict. Overall, it was delicious. But be prepared for them to bring you something else 😉

Bad experience with the meal. Nothing is homemade, and in the salad we ordered, we found a dead snail 🐌… They replaced it with soup, and we even had to pay for the meal. They advertise on their website that they have high chairs for children, but they don't. The staff is very friendly, but that doesn't make up for their food. Not recommended at all!

We will definitely be back. Since the restaurant is located right in the city center, it is advisable to travel by bus or train. I had a reservation for 3 p.m. The restaurant was actually very empty, which I found a shame. However, it was also the last day of the Maschsee Festival, so I think it will be much busier towards the evening. So I can't say whether a reservation is necessary, but I recommend it anyway, just to be on the safe side.

Unfortunately, we had to wait over 30 minutes for our breakfast, even though there were only two other tables occupied in the downstairs dining room. By the time we finally got something, we had already ordered two coffees. Unfortunately, there was no information in the meantime. And no real apology when paying.

The excellent 4.8-star rating already raised expectations for great things – and we were not disappointed. The restaurant is decorated with great attention to detail and a keen sense of atmosphere. The entire team – all Vietnamese employees – was extremely friendly and attentive. Special thanks go to Anh and Ha for the warm service. The meal was a real highlight: delicious and prepared with great care. The background music was also exceptional and contributed to the relaxed, special atmosphere. We enjoyed it so much that we returned the next evening. It's just a shame there isn't such a wonderful restaurant nearby.

First, the positive: The ambiance was very appealing and the soups were delicious. Unfortunately, then came the big disappointment. As a lover of Italian cuisine, I ordered spaghetti carbonara. Since the menu didn't mention cream among the ingredients, I was looking forward to the original spaghetti carbonara. Unfortunately, I ended up with spaghetti with cream sauce, not carbonara. When I complained, they complained that it was their recipe and that it contained cream. That wasn't so bad, but then they should note it on the menu and not call it carbonara!

We tried this wonderful restaurant in Hanover's old town today. We ordered breakfast for two (it leaves nothing to be desired) with scrambled eggs, salmon, and bacon. The rolls, croissants, and bread were crispy, fresh, and warm. Evelyn, our waitress, is a true gem: very attentive, competent, and friendly. We wholeheartedly give it a 10/10 and would happily recommend it.
