Smack Burger in Berlin

I actually like to order from Smackburger very often, but if at least one French fry is forgotten every time, it's no longer fun to order from you. Send me my entire order instead of a Center Shock chewing gum:( You never answer the phone either. THAT'S IT

I stopped at Smack Burger for a quick lunch and was thoroughly impressed. The patty was juicy and cooked to perfection, and the toppings were fresh and abundant. The bun was soft and slightly sweet, holding everything together beautifully. The fries were crispy and addictive, But the real stars of the show were the Patty Melt and Chicken Melt both were absolutely phenomenal. The patty melt with caramelised onions and melted cheese added a depth of flavor that took it to the next level, and the chicken melt crispy chicken and creamy sauce made it a game changer. Highly recommended 👍🏿 5 stars isn't enough, I'd give it 10 if I could!

My favourite burger in Berlin. Double cheeseburger (its not too much of meat). It's just perfect. Everything is fresh, perfect selection of ingredients, fresh vegetables and juicy meat. Everything matches perfectly. Great Job. It looks awesome, and it tastes awesome. When you talk about best burgers in Berlin, this place must be in the conversation.

I ordered here via Uber Eats. The restaurant was supposed to make the delivery itself, after confirming and paying for the order it still didn't arrive after 1 hour and 30 minutes (the restaurant was only 1km away). The restaurant couldn't be reached using the phone number provided, and Uber Eats support couldn't reach them either. Luckily the order was canceled by Uber Eats support, I wouldn't recommend anyone to order here! As a restaurant, you shouldn't accept orders and then not carry them out without contacting the customer or answering the phone. Very unprofessional!

This is a delivery order. The drinks were not delivered. The driver should pick these up and hand them over (approx. 7 minutes away by e-bike). After half an hour I called the restaurant again. According to their information, the delivery person did not return. Reference was made to lieferdano. Lieferdano cannot be reached by phone. The restaurant failed to provide the drinks. I now have the work and hassle of it and no solution from the restaurant.

We were in the store this afternoon, we ordered normally, but the service was extremely unfriendly, I had no idea what the problem was, but she spoke to me in an extremely annoyed manner and her manner wasn't very nice either. The food was great 👍🏽 but I think the service also makes a big difference. It's a shame that it made you feel very uncomfortable.

Excellent burger place! The double smash was compact, the buns buttery and nicely seared and the fresh toppings complimented the perfectly caramelized and flavourful patties. The fries were good, nice and crispy, although slightly underseasoned. If I had to nitpick I would only say that the ketchup they give on the side has a weird taste which I didn’t like, but I do appreciate receiving 2 sauces on the side for free (ketchup and mayo). The service was also great - very professional and I waited for my food maybe 5 minutes. All in all a great experience, the burger was the star of the meal so I wouldn’t omit stars for the other negligible shortcomings. Would definitely return.

Drinks are always warm, they only have one fridge and they always say we have just filled up, delicious food, but the warm drink ruins everything If you value a cold drink in order to fully enjoy the enjoyment, you should, as the waitress recommended to me afterwards, feel all the drinks and feel whether they are cold or not ✌️

I tried smack burger the first week it opened for the first time. Was for real, one of the best smack burger joints in town and a personal favourite. I always order the patty&chicken melt, phenomenal. Month after month, that quality&taste that used to be is no more. The staff was alright, a bit more of organisation would be nice. To be honest, the hype of this place is gone. In the end, it’s my personal opinion.

A very ingenious shop - you simply have to give it 5 stars! The Double Smashburger is exceptionally good. The bun is great. The meat is not dry, the sauce is more in the background. It's better to order the patty melt with 2 patties! Otherwise the ratio of bread to meat is not right and you only have bread in your mouth, which is what it feels like. But don't get me wrong: the bread is amazing! Even homemade. This is a huge, heavy and greasy affair. But really brilliant! Unfortunately, patty melts are not (yet) well known in this country. In the USA, more so. Maybe Smackburger will help increase awareness! Great store. The Double Smashburger is almost as good as Goldies. And much better from Burgermeister! The patty melt is unique!

This is the best burger I've eaten in the last 5 years. I was at the Champions Burger Festival. It's not without reason that the Patty Melt won all the prizes. The burger is fluffy, juicy, cheesy and simply bombastic!! And such a huge portion, after that nothing works anymore 😅

We were a group of 34 who came unannounced and we ordered burgers, fries and soft drinks. The staff were super nice and smiling, and it didn't take long from the time we ordered until the food started arriving. Good burgers and crispy fries. Great service. Can definitely be recommended to others.

The burgers were tasty, but the service really needs to be worked on. There were five of us there, because it was too warm in the restaurant we sat outside and the weather was nice outside. When I went in again to ask the cashier if I could grab a chair to sit outside with the others, she said coldly NO, had to smile briefly and ran out, eating my burger and fries standing up. She also made a mistake when ordering without admitting it so I had to pay again. I don't think I'll go there again.

I love the Double Smack Burger here! Personally, I usually take it without cucumbers because I think they don't fit in very well (but that's just my personal taste). I usually add jalapeños for this. For me, however, this double cheeseburger is one of the best in Berlin, if not the best I've ever eaten. The atmosphere in the store is also very relaxed and gives me a little USA vibes. I think it's good that the owner has thought about creating a unique atmosphere that doesn't yet exist in Berlin, especially with the video cube in the middle of the shop. A little tip: I would think it would be cool if this video cube would also show live events and not just show the same video sequence repeatedly. But that's just a small point of criticism and a suggestion for improvement. Otherwise, I give a very clear recommendation and can only recommend the double cheeseburger. The fries taste delicious too, you can't go wrong with them!

This is my first time here and I have to say that I felt very comfortable and welcome here. I was pleasantly surprised by the staff and the store in general and I can confidently recommend Smack Burgers in the future.

The burgers are great, you can't say anything against the quality or taste. The chicken tastes very similar to schnitzel, only it is noticeably crunchier and that's a good thing. Now to what unfortunately affects my 5 star rating, the fries are just soggy even though they are handmade, that has absolutely nothing to do with fries, fries should be crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, i.e. I asked what was up for compatibility reasons It was thrown away and since I was able to make sure that there were no greens, it was served with greens and so it was a matter of rummaging around before eating. Conclusion: There is nothing wrong with the burgers and the meat itself, but unfortunately the "fries" brought the rating down massively. I'll happily come back for burgers but never again for fries.

Very tasty burger, crispy and juicy. Simple smash was very good, the double was excellent. I found Patty Melt to be too greasy for my taste. If you like overkill, definitely try it. Ordered via delivery service and the food was still great. I can only recommend.

If you eat meat, definitely take the patty melt! Nothing else... 🤌🏻 A very greasy and powerful affair... but packing a burger between two fluffy slices of brioche toast is outstanding 🤤 Three slices of cheese definitely ensure extraordinary satiety 🤪 Fries very crispy and potato-like - that's how they have to be!!

The patty melt is absolutely amazing. So far I haven't found anything better in Germany. The sauces are also very good, as are the sweet potato fries. Very convenient thanks to home delivery.

I ordered from smack burgers today using Uber eats. My comments were completely ignored - I specifically wrote Diet Coke or Zero and not regular Coke! I also ordered Diet Coke. What do I get? Normal Cola and even very warm!!! Cilly cheese fries (pictured with jalopenos) cost €8 which is very expensive. What do I get? Everything packaged separately: cheese sauce (ok) and chilies (no jalopenos!), tasted 0. Paid just under €21 for everything (burger, fries and a small coke) - even with a promotion! Just kidding here. Never again!

It was very tasty - the price was also ok. Sweet potato fries were crispy and quite a lot - you can also share a portion here. I find the burgers a bit small but tasty. According to the notice, the bread is baked in-house every morning. The selection of burger variants is quite small and serves the simple, classic burger. The melts look delicious and I think they are more appropriate if you are very hungry :)

First of all, the nice thing is that the burgers are super delicious and have a well-rounded taste. // Unfortunately, paying almost €10 for a burger is beyond what I'm willing to pay. I'd rather take the scooter for 25 minutes to somewhere where I can get a good burger and it's €4 cheaper. Plus my husband is a vegetarian and this makes it even more expensive than the meat burger. That I do not understand. The logic behind it, that meat is cheaper than vegetarian, sorry, that doesn't work. I hope you change that in your concept, then we'll be happy to come back. But unfortunately this is too expensive for me.

Smack burger? More like Snack Burgers! It doesn't make any sense if the burgers are children's burgers. It's been a long time since I've eaten a small burger like this. But it was delicious.

Food is actually really cool. Unfortunately, you forgot to pack a dessert when we ordered yesterday. We tried to call several times, but no one answered. So it's really shockingly bad for finding solutions. Wolt also didn't want to deliver the dessert because the goods were worth less than €6. Food without dessert and such service was simply disappointing. At least what arrived was delicious.

The food and the staff were great. But I absolutely won't eat there in the future because the exhaust air isn't sufficient. I sat in the store for half an hour and my clothes are streaked with grease. Everything smells like frying fat.

I'd rather go to Wilhelmsburger and not to this fake. You may be able to copy the ambience, but not the taste.

I had the chicken melt and the patty melt, both were really good, but the patty melt was definitely the best. The bread is so soft and buttery and with the cheese and the juicy meat it all melts into one delicious indulgent treat. I will agree the music is not my thing but you can easily dit outside or do takeaway. Also the restaurant is clean and the furniture has logo branding, that’s a nice touch.

Had to come back and change my review - the place has changed A LOT, for the worse… First of all, the owners seem to be very uptight and stubborn when it comes to requests (even if they’re simple…) because it’s the burger is a “concept they don’t like changing”. What’s that? A fine dining restaurant? No, a burger shop - the “concept” can’t be that non-interchangeable. The staff has become a bit nonchalant and the food quality has dropped since they first opened, while the prices went straight up! It’s also time to introduce more options for vegetarians (I eat meat but my partner doesn’t, for example). The Mexican fries taste nothing like before too. No idea what happened there but I won’t go back for a while…

Super tasty burger (vegan, beyondMeat) with exciting toppings. To be honest, I was pleasantly surprised because I expected less from the ambience. Music was something along the lines of "gangster rap", not at all my thing, but that's a matter of taste and I think it's completely acceptable in a burger joint. I don't understand the criticism of the prices. Anyone who expects food for less than 10 euros obviously has no idea about food (only about 20-30% of the price is for the ingredients). Service nice, friendly and fast. All in all a great experience!

I don’t know if it was because we ordered via delivery on a Sunday evening, but the food was tasteless and cold, even though we live right around the corner from this place. I payed 1,50€ for extra jalapeños and I could only find 3 sad, small and tasteless slices in my burger. I also payed 1€ extra for cheese, which was not even really melted.. the burgers were also missing some sauce and the fries were already hard. Long story short: we won’t be ordering here again, specially knowing there are way better and tastier burger places in Moabit.

The quality of the products is very good, the service is fast (arrival at 12:10 p.m., we did not wait more than 10 minutes before being served). The staff is very polite and speaks English. For a price between 10 and 15€, they offer a burger and a drink. The burgers are generous and hearty. In addition, the atmosphere of the restaurant is modern and pleasant.

Nicely styled self-service shop, just a little cold. The staff is very friendly. Burger, very tasty and unfortunately small. For a burger, extra drink and fries you need to pay around 17-19 EUR. Far too expensive for my opinion. Nice to have been there. If you want a small and tasty burger at a high price, it's worth a visit ;)

Food was very good. But 1.5 hours of waiting was too much, despite repeated reminders. At least we got pudding on the house as compensation.

The burger was excellent, but I think €8.50 for a not particularly large cheeseburger is a bit steep.

We really enjoyed the Smack Burger and the portion was filling. Unfortunately, since it's always busy, you can't always find space inside. But there are also seats outside, but since it was rainy, we had to dry the wet seats ourselves with napkins. We would also like it if the burgers were on the menu.
