Slavo Tomic in Halle (Saale)

I was very satisfied with this restaurant. The food was good and the prices were reasonable for the quality. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately, our visit here was considerably worse than at any other Dean&David we have ever been to. The screen display was broken or illegible, so we had to choose from the products on display. The bowl I ordered was completely cold, so the warm parts weren't fresh, but it still tasted fine. My companion's salad, on the other hand, was inedible. It tasted sour, and the ingredients seemed to have been left at least yesterday, as the lettuce leaves were dry and brown in places. After we asked for a new salad (with the aforementioned reason), we were given a new one from the ingredients counter, but it was exactly the same as the first. So it seems that the ingredients themselves, not the prepared salads, are the problem. Who knows how often they sell items that have been left over from the day before. We left and later threw the salad away.

If you don't like it, just shut up.

Class reunion in the beer garden, great. Very attentive staff. I'd love to come again.
