**"An evening in Object 5: An interplay of rustic charm and disappointing cuisine"** The **Object 5 in Halle (Saale)** initially impresses with its inviting, rustic, rustic ambience. The design, spread over two floors - bar and entrance below, the guest room with cozy niches above - creates a pleasant atmosphere that promises a lot. Unfortunately the service couldn't quite keep up. Our name was spelled incorrectly upon arrival - not a major faux pas, but a small indication of a certain negligence. Ordering drinks was also bumpy: a recommendation for a heavy, dry red wine conflicted with our request for a fruity, semi-dry wine. Luckily, we confidently chose a **Merlot** that we ended up really liking. The kitchen, however, was disappointing across the board. The beetroot salad with feta and walnuts (although vinegar, oil and the latter were simply missing) was solid at best, the baguette that came with it was untoasted and uninspired. The **venison goulash** - the centerpiece of the evening - was unfortunately a disappointment: four small, dry pieces of meat in a viscous, mushy sauce with fibers, accompanied by overcooked potato dumplings and red cabbage that tasted strongly of canned food. The hefty price of 26.50 euros for this dish gives rise to expectations that were far missed here. My comment to the waitress was received politely, but the reaction - a shrug of the shoulders and a non-committal "I'll pass it on" - seemed listless and not very solution-oriented. A sincere apology, perhaps in the form of a small dessert or a schnapps on the house, would have been an appropriate expression of hospitality. The **baked apple tiramisu**, our dessert, tasted decent, but seemed a little bland and couldn't make up for the disappointing overall impression. **Conclusion**: Property 5 scores with a charming ambience, but fails in the kitchen and service. For a total of 65.20 euros, I expect significantly more care, both in terms of taste and customer orientation. Unfortunately the experience only warrants *one star*

Great location in Halle (Saale). Great beer garden in summer, delicious food. Special atmosphere. The club is also very nice.

Everything was perfect, from the outside I was still quite skeptical because of the "colorful" appearance, but I was already curious. When I entered the restaurant, I was very impressed by the visual impressions and the obvious attention to decorative detail. We were a group of just over twenty people and were registered. We were warmly welcomed and taken to the top floor, where the impression we had gained so far continued. The dishes we ordered were delicious and plentiful, would be happy again. Small note, there were more than just the pizzas I photographed 🍕, the "alternatives" also all looked very good and were considered tasty.

Super rustic location for concerts, eating or just hanging out as a pub, nice staff and the house beer is delicious and drinkable. Only recommended 👌

You can sit outside here very well. The service is friendly and quick. We found the selection of beers good and we really enjoyed the food. There is always a changing additional menu, which is why you can always try different things here.

Is a nice restaurant with nice employees. The parmesan schnitzel with champions was delicious. The crème brûlée was also good, but way too expensive. We were pleasantly surprised by a small snack bowl with nibbles (free of charge), which was immediately brought to our table. We also saw that the name was written on our reservation sign on the table. (a small, although not so important, thing that can definitely bring a smile) My starter (chanterelle soup) was tasty. For the main course I had a pizza (object 5, like the name of the restaurant). This was ok but nothing special. All in all, it's worth going there for dinner as the food is okay, the lighting looks really great and the great ambience is even more impressive. The only disturbing thing were the noises of the tram outside at the table, but you can ignore them sometimes.

Went for the second time today, the last time was two years ago. The food menu has changed, but we thought it was good. There were four of us back then, six of us today. All dishes were good and enough for 6 adults. It was particularly hot today but the service did their best and we felt very well looked after.

We spent a lovely evening in the "RUINE"...from making the reservation over the phone to paying, everything was great...great ambience...nice, friendly service staff...the food and the accompanying decoration were delicious and very pretty prepared...we will be back and of course we will recommend this location.

Actually a nice restaurant with a great atmosphere. Unfortunately, our advance reservation was forgotten, which in itself wouldn't be a big deal and can happen to the best restaurants. But: the way we were turned away and treated as possible guests unfortunately borders on impertinent. At first our written reservation confirmation was not acknowledged at all after we held it in front of the waiter's nose several times. Then, with a foreign hand gesture and palpable ignorance, we were offered a table in the corner, uncovered, right next to the bar, with personal belongings already occupied. Without batting an eye, the staff then made a half-hearted apology. We tried to be composed and polite the whole time, but then followed our instincts and left the restaurant. Object 5 won't see us again. Anyone who treats guests like this simply does not understand the criteria for success and etiquette in the catering industry.

Ambiance is certainly sufficient. Prices too expensive. You have to like this kind of ambience. What I personally don't like so much is the service staff changing very frequently. I've been there a few times and see other people very often. Service staff unfriendly. Especially the woman with short red hair. Waited over 45 minutes for a bad meal. Then this person asks how the food tasted, my plate was almost untouched, you give her an answer and the local friendliness is unfortunately confirmed. Such cheeky and naughty misbehavior as a service employee is rare. Long waiting times, bad food and the Halle service make me think that you can experience nostalgia again here.

Very nice location, went to the concert... Only... the very strong toilet smell in the back of the club that came from the men's toilet was very unpleasant.

Unfortunately my food tasted so bad that I had to leave it after one bite. When the waiter asked us if we liked it, I was completely ignored as I answered the question with a "no" and also explained why I didn't like it. Everyone who sat at the table with me tried my food and confirmed that it wasn't tasty. The others weren't particularly happy with their food either. Maybe the chef had a bad day, but given the high prices the food should at least be edible. And unfortunately our drinks were mixed way too sweet.

Good and cozy atmosphere. Elk Stew was very good; to be recommended. A good Sunday night option for dinner and delicious, as well.

We spontaneously booked a table for 15 people and were very happy with the one assigned to us. The atmosphere is really nice, so all in all we had a very pleasant evening here. The service is friendly and we never had to wait long. However, the prices of the dishes on offer are hugely exorbitant and the quality of the food doesn't really justify them. It was a shame that an employee (accounting) was celebrating her birthday there that evening and unfortunately it got out of hand several times. The fact that two drunk people stood at our table and chatted to us briefly was quite amusing. In the course of this, however, two gentlemen in this group decided to resolve their argument physically. In the meantime, the friendly waitress asked us not to leave the area where we were sitting. After this game never ended, we had zero desire to linger. When it came to the bill, we were told that the employee was downstairs and that we should just walk past and ignore it all. We then called in the ambulance that had been called by the drunken crowd and were then glad to have left the store. The waitress kindly mentioned that we had endured all this drama, but as a restaurateur we should have done something about the bill or apologized in some other way for such inconvenience. Personally, I won't be visiting this restaurant again in a hurry and find it extremely embarrassing that an employee behaves so badly. Regarding the drinks menu, the selection and price were right and everyone was happy with the drinks of the evening. The toilets are extremely clean and tidy. There is an elevator in the restaurant for people with walking difficulties, although you still have to climb the steps to the entrance and the restaurant is therefore not suitable for people with disabilities.

We went to Object 5 last night for a small birthday party and were really surprised at how well attended it was on Monday. Ambience rustic and cozy. The food was very attractively prepared and very tasty, everything was freshly prepared - big praise to the kitchen! The service was very nice. Thank you very much - we'll be happy to come back.

Ambience beautiful. Waiting times for the food are far too long (1.5 hours) and that's what happens Prices for the food on offer are too high. Pizzas were burnt, new ones were brought here upon request. The dough for the children's pizza and 2 calzones was very salty. This was raised by guests, but the restaurant did not respond. The food was cleared away, but no new food/compensation was brought.

We had a family Christmas dinner in property 5. Everyone really enjoyed it. The food was sufficient and very tasty. Individual requests were no problem. The staff was very nice and quick. Thanks for that. We are coming again next year.

War zum Acoustica Konzert . War sehr schön. Getränke wie im Restaurant.Leider kein Parkplatz, wenn man mit dem Auto kommt.

Wir kamen hungrig ,aus dem Gruselzoo nach 20 Uhr .......🤔 Uns wurde das Objekt 5 ,mit später Küche empfohlen. Wir waren schon beim hinlaufen geflasht,von dem äußeren stimmungsvollen, einladenden Anblick. Kurzum ,auch im Innern waren wir fasziniert ,von der liebevollen Einrichtung, den vielen Details,den charmanten Service ,den kein Weg zu viel war. (Mehrere Etagen) Bestimmt kommen wir bald wieder, (tolles leider selten gewordenes Gefühl der Werschätzung am Gast) Essen war ein Genuss 👍🦎😋 Lg aus Vockerode

Wir waren zu 4. im Objekt 5. Es war sehr gemütlich, lecker und die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich. Wir haben es sehr genossen und kommen bestimmt bald wieder! Eine absolute Empfehlung unsererseits! :)

Ich war angenehm überrascht, wie aus eine Ruine so ein wunderbares Restaurant geworden ist. Ich kenne es noch als Ruine. Chapeau! Tolle Lokalität. Essen war gut. Allen hat es gut gemundet. Service war perfekt. Aufmerksam und sehr freundlich. Sehr gerne wieder.

Wir hatten einen schönen Abend im Objekt 5. Das Essen hatte eine sehr hohe Qualität und war super lecker. Besonders beeindruckt waren wir vom Gebäude. Diese Liebe zum Detail und die Aufmachung vom Restaurant ist einzigartig. Einzig der Service ist verbesserungsbedürftig - die Servicekräfte müssten noch etwas aufmerksamer werden. Wir kommen dennoch auf jeden Fall wieder und freuen uns auf die kommenden Erfahrungen. :)

Dans un lieu original par sa hauteur et son décors, nous pouvons manger ici quelques plats traditionnels . Les différentes terrasses et la disposition des étages permet des repas en petits groupes séparés des autres clients pour plus de tranquillité. Le service est appréciable.

Das Ambiente ist mega. Es wird draußen auf 3 Etage gegessen. Das Personal ist sehr nett und freundlich. Die Speisen sind in meinen Augen ein bisschen überteuert.

Wir hatten mal wieder einen sehr schönen Abend im Objekt 5. Das Essen war sehr gut, hübsch angerichtet...das Auge isst ja mit😉 Die Karte bietet für jeden Geschmack etwas und der Wein aus der Saale-Unstrut-Region ist immer wieder lecker. Wir kommen gern wieder und können nur jedem das Restaurant empfehlen!

Auf Empfehlung haben wir hier einen netten Abend in einem ungewöhnlichen Ambiente verbracht. Das urige Lokal ist so gar nicht eingerichtet, wie man das von anderen gastronomischen Betrieben her kennt. Es erinnert mit seinen vielen Etagen und Terrassen eher an ein Labyrinth. Die Speisekarte ist übersichtlich und die angebotenen Gerichte zum Teil außergewöhnlich. Die Qualität war so, wie wir das erwartet haben und der Service war zuvorkommend, wenn auch etwas langsam, was aber den vielen Treppen geschuldet sein mag. Reservierung ist zu empfehlen und wir werden uns, sofern es uns wieder nach Halle verschlägt, bestimmt hier erneut niederlassen.

Auf Empfehlung einer Freundin sind wir hier zu zweit auf der lauschigen Terrasse gelandet. Das Wetter hat gut mitgespielt. Die Bedienung (heute heisst das ja Servicekraft) war freundlich und das Essen hat auch nicht zu lange gedauert. Wir waren natürlich schlau und haben für den ersten Hunger eine Vorspeise bestellt. Auch die Ausstattung des Lokals hat uns gefallen: urig.

Objekt 5 eine tolle Gaststätte,sehr gemütlich.Waren mit 8 Personen da,die Bedienung nett aber etwas überfordert.Ein Essen nicht so wie bestellt,ein anderes war total kalt..danach fast eine halbe stunde drauf gewartet.Bezahlung dauerte ewig,musste schon nachfragen ob noch jemand kommt.Etwas enttäuschend der ganze Abend.

식당 분위기가 매우 오래된 느낌이다. 생일 잔치도 하는 거 보니 가족 모임등을 하는 편안한 식당 같아 보였다. 치킨 샐러드는 치킨 양도 많았고 음식양도 많았다. 맛은 그냥 평범한 샐러드 맛~ 하지만 분위기도 좋았고 직원도 친절해서 좋았다

영어메뉴판 있고, 카드 결제 가능하다 . 하지만 위치가 조금 애매해서 여행객들이 가기에는 어려울 것 같다. 할로윈기간에는 호박이 들어간 특별한 메뉴가 별도로 있다. 음식은 조금 짠 편이며, 맛은 보통 정도 한다.

It’s a shame I didn’t visit on a night when there was music, which locals tell me is pretty good. But I enjoyed the evening meal, with a fairly large group, where the staff looked after us well. In an area which (dare one say it...) isn’t exactly throbbing with excitement in the evening, the restaurant is something of an oasis of sociability, light and noise, in a characterful building spread over several floors. The menu and drink choices were reasonably wide, even if the food was good rather than brilliant. In a city where a lot of people (certainly the older generation) are not anglophone, it was pleasant to be welcomed by cheerful young serving staff, who spoke fluent English. I would certainly go back.

Schlechtes und kaltes Essen. Es war kein Genuss hier zu essen. Teile der Speisen waren kalt und die Pommes nicht Cross. Es war sehr schade, das Lokal roch nach fett aus der Fritteuse. Schade , aber ich gehe nicht mehr hin

Zum alljährlichen Zusammentreffen fanden wir uns Sonntags ein. Wenig Gäste,entspannte Mitarbeiter und klassische Gerichte und Getränke rundeten diesen Abend ab.Irgendwie fehlte uns das I-Tüpfelchen für ein WOW-Erlebnis.

Man sitzt sehr schön auf der Terrasse. Leider war die Bedienung unfreundlich und nicht kundenorientiert. Alle drei Gerichte waren versalzen.

Der Service war gut und aufmerksam, aber das Essen bei den letzten beiden Besuchen im Januar nicht gut. Das Bauernfrühstück so versalzen, dass es ungenießbar war - wird da nicht abgeschmeckt? Beim letzten Mal haben wir, trotz mäßiger Besetzung eine gefühlte Ewigkeit gewartet um dann kaltes Essen serviert zu bekommen. Das war jetzt erst einmal auf lange Sicht der letzte Besuch.

Das Essen war wieder einmal sehr lecker. Der Service war freundlich und sehr kompetent. Wir kommen hier immer wieder gerne zum Essen. Das einzige Manko sind die fehlenden eigenen Parkplätze. Wenn vorhanden, dann würde es 5 Sterne geben.

Great musical events, sold cuisine, drinks at rather low prices. Overall, a great venue right next to the castle ruin, very cozy interior, regular concerts in the back (jazz and rock), which however, need not impact the dining experience (sound proof walls). Will come again.
