I had the pleasure of visiting this wonderful restaurant yesterday. Despite not having a reservation, the friendly waiter found a table for me within minutes and prepared it. The sushi was fantastic. Prices are normal to moderate for the border region. For truly good Asian cuisine, this is a great place to go! P.S.: The ginger tea is my personal insider tip.

⭐☆☆☆☆ Serious hygiene deficiencies according to official inspection – rodent infestation detected in kitchen and storage area. During a food inspection on September 4, 2025, serious hygiene deficiencies were discovered at the Six Senses restaurant in Konstanz. According to the report published on September 29, 2025, inspectors found clear traces of rodent droppings and urine behind kitchen furniture and in several drawers. Packaging containing ingredients such as black sesame and breadcrumbs was partially chewed through and contaminated, and open food such as noodles and breadcrumbs were stored in the affected areas. I quote: "In the kitchen, the floor behind the kitchen furniture was heavily contaminated with rodent droppings. Drawers containing pre-packaged "black sesame" and breadcrumbs were heavily contaminated with rodent droppings and urine. One of the packages of black sesame seeds had been chewed through. In one of these drawers was also an open plastic container filled with loose breadcrumbs. Kitchen shelves were contaminated with rodent droppings, and on these shelves were other open containers containing loose food items such as noodles. Open food items/raw materials were disposed of during the on-site inspection. These conditions are completely unacceptable from a food safety perspective. Pest infestation in the kitchen and storage areas poses a significant health risk and is evidence of inadequate hygiene monitoring. I hope that the facility has since carried out a thorough cleaning and implemented permanent, effective pest control measures. One star – due to massive hygiene violations and documented rodent infestation.

We also tried the flying noodles. Because they're served hanging, which looks funny, they were already cold by the time we got them. The baked banana, at over €8, was also overpriced in my opinion. Friendly staff.

I happened to be there at lunchtime. It was busy, and we received excellent service (we were traveling with a small child). The food was okay—nothing special compared to other sushi restaurants.

Very good sushi restaurant! Considering I'd never had sushi before, I was pleasantly surprised. We had the funky chicken, six senses tempura rolls, and the flying noodles with grilled chicken. All very, very tasty. The homemade lemonades are also very refreshing and taste very good. The staff was also super friendly. The location isn't ideal, with the outdoor seating on the street. Otherwise, I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys sushi!

Great food. The Yamakase sushi platter, especially for two people, is sensational. A large selection of different sushi rolls and sashimi. Cool and very special main courses like flying noodles or pho soup. A lovely (modern) ambiance and very friendly service.

The sushi was delicious and very fresh. Unfortunately, there isn't much choice for vegetarians, but those who eat fish have a few more options. The menu, including the drinks list, is very extensive and, at first, quite confusing.

So, we ate here with eight people last night. The starters of sushi, spring rolls, and soup were all excellent. The main courses of duck, chicken, and flying noodles were also very, very tasty. Thank you very much 👍🏼

Basically a good Asian restaurant with a lot of choice. There is something for everyone here. Unfortunately we had to wait a very long time for our food (approx. 1 hour). In return, the waitress offered us a drink on the house. The sushi was good and the other dishes also tasted good. Price performance is okay.

We made the mistake of reserving for one person less and apparently there was no solution. Unfortunately we were not shown any courtesy and excuses were constantly made. The way we were treated was quite disappointing and left a lot to be desired. I can't recommend it based on customer service alone.

Great service, lovely atmosphere and absolutely brilliant food. The starter platter was very tasty, the sushi was brilliantly good and the main course with the tuna steak was amazing. If I lived here, I would eat there regularly. It was perfect, thank you very much!

I tried this sushi restaurant, but compared to others I've been to, it didn't really impress me. The food was still ok, but nothing special. The dishes seemed more tailored to a broad, tourist clientele than to real sushi lovers. The service wasn't particularly friendly either and made strange jokes. For me there are definitely better alternatives, so I wouldn't necessarily recommend this restaurant.

The food was OK. We love the octopus but the scallop was under seasoned.

We (3 over 60s) had a really, really good lunch here today! The food is presented very nicely. And the fact that the walls are black didn't bother us at all. Not even the relatively large number of families with small children - the noise level was kept within pleasant limits. Service was very friendly. We'll be back!

Unfortunately we caught a very strange employee. We were there as a couple. The service employee tried to be funny several times, which made our visit very unpleasant. I was asked out of nowhere if I wasn't cold. My partner was told he had a jacket pocket when he wanted to have the rest of his food packed. These are just two examples. Overall, his manner was very pushy considering that he didn't know us personally. The food was good, but I wouldn't come here again

I was in the “Six Senses” restaurant for the first time on February 9th, 2025. I was very surprised that it only received a 4.4 rating as the food was really tasty, reasonably priced and the service was very attentive and prompt. On the one hand, I really liked the timing for the second course. It's been a long time since this was paid this much attention to <3. Thank you for the delicious experience, we'll see you again very soon. Ps: small deduction because of the ambience, as the one wall where we were sitting seemed a bit neglected (please remove the strange fairy lights) - otherwise tipi great

I've eaten at this restaurant several times and I'm always thrilled with the food - the quality and taste are simply outstanding! However, on my last visit I had an unpleasant experience with a particular waiter. He came uncomfortably close to me and even followed me on the way to the toilet, which was completely inappropriate for me. I find such behavior unprofessional and it made it difficult for me to feel comfortable in the restaurant. As a guest, you want to be able to enjoy your stay in peace without feeling uncomfortable. Nevertheless, I won't let that spoil the great cuisine, because the food is really great! I'll definitely be back - I just hope I'm not served by the same gentleman. My appetite and my enjoyment of good food are not affected by such behavior.

What's going on with the Six Senses? We had dinner there last night and were very disappointed, the atmosphere was like a cave, dark and uninviting! Service totally overwhelmed, quality of food, poor! It was better! We definitely won't be coming back!

I was in this restaurant for the first and last time last night. All the walls are painted black, it makes a dark and depressing impression on me. It's old and rather shabby. Toilets a bit dingy. The restaurant was full on Friday evening. The noise level was almost unbearable. Therefore 0 stars for the atmosphere. The waiter was nice and prompt. We ate the six senses sushi platter, which was very tasty, 4 stars for the food. But after we had the food, nothing mattered. It took us about 15 minutes to finish eating and the plates weren't cleared away. I signaled to a young blonde waitress that we were ready. She then came and finally cleared the plates, but with a rather arrogant attitude. Therefore only 3 stars for the service. We paid straight away and just wanted to get out. We then had dessert and coffee in another restaurant.

Went here spontaneously this evening. Super nice and fast service, the food was very tasty (especially the sweet potato fries) and the service was absolutely friendly and accommodating, we'll be happy to come back.

Unfortunately we were extremely disappointed. We ordered sushi and to be honest it was a complete failure. The rice doesn't hold up at all - the sushi falls apart in your hands or when you try to grab it with chopsticks. It seems like the preparation technique is not followed at all. Very annoying as we expected much better quality. Sushi is all about precision and flavor, but here it was neither. We definitely won't be ordering here again.

Delicious food, friendly staff. The cuisine is impressive both aesthetically and taste-wise, and there is even a fine Japanese whiskey in the range: Nikka from the Barrel. With such a fine whiskey, please do not recommend cola or ice cream. It was fun, we really enjoy coming. Thanks

Came alone for lunch at 2:00 p.m., was served in a friendly manner and was able to enjoy the delicious food, which was served quickly and beautifully prepared, in peace despite the room being open from 3:00 p.m. Is easy to reach on foot from the train station.

We found out about it by chance and were really surprised. The service was really great, you were served and welcomed very nicely and politely. The sushi was really delicious, really fresh and had a great taste. We would love to come back and can only warmly recommend it.

Ambiance was very nice and the service was also great. However, we found the sushi to be rather average and the duck with hoisin was also rather ok. In our opinion, the price-performance ratio was not right.

This was the best sushi I've eaten so far. The price was around €90 just for sushi (see picture). The waiter was a bit confused but after a quick comment everything that was missing was already on the table. It was actually a spontaneous visit and we were all the happier to have discovered such a beautiful restaurant. We'd love to come back. We had a starter plate for two people plus spring rolls and dumplings. Sushi for three people and flying noodles... Everything was very tasty.

Wow...it was really good! I can only recommend it, a treat!

Yesterday the two of us ate at six sense again. The food was delicious but we didn't get along with the waiter who served us. When we came in he made a joke that there was no more room despite the reservation, ha-ha (we had to spend the whole evening making jokes like that, are you Albanian or can I eat your leftovers!). When we were at the table we ordered a €60 platter and a smaller Funky Chicken platter. When he brought the record we were already disappointed. Instead of both being brought separately, the chicken platter was mixed into the large €60 platter. If you had taken the smaller order off the plate you would have still had 2/3. So it definitely wouldn't have been a 60€ record anymore. We were then charged for this (€60 + €15). At the end my friend ordered a drink to take away, she said this clearly twice. When we went to the exit to take the drink with us, they prepared it in a glass and she said that she ordered it to take away. The waiter then said that there were no more to-go cups and defiantly gave her the money back with the words “that’s off my bill now!” (We had despite the rather small plate, the unnecessary jokes and 100 € bill plus tip given). Next time we would definitely rather spend this money with a competitor. Was really disappointing. In the picture you can see 60 + 15€ plate.

It was a delight for the palate and definitely worth the journey of just over 40 km. Thank you for your hospitality and see you again soon. When it comes to the ambience, some friendly decoration on the walls would be a plus, especially if it would provide some sound insulation. But it's irrelevant.

We always found the restaurant very good, as well as the take away service. Unfortunately we once ordered a large plate of sushi to take away, the tuna was spoiled. We reported this back to the restaurant by phone and they weren't really taken seriously on the phone. We agreed with you that we would come over and bring you back the tuna, but unfortunately you closed the restaurant early that evening, even though we agreed. After such an experience, NEVER again!

The staff was very attentive. The food was very attractively presented and perfectly prepared. Special requests for our child were easily accommodated.

We came without a reservation and got a table that we could even choose because the bench seat was easier for us to handle with children. The service was very nice. The food was fantastic. I had the flying noodles and my husband had sushi. I have bookmarked the restaurant and we will definitely come back when we are in the area again. There are no parking spaces in any city center, but there are plenty of parking garages nearby. Thanks for the great evening.

Normally we are always happy, but today we weren't. The table was reserved for 7:15 p.m. and there was no one available. Well, we arrived at 7:18 p.m. and were told to wait for a table on the terrace. We waited until 7:35 p.m. for the table. Then we decided to eat inside at the restaurant. We ordered an elderflower lemonade but it was made from passion fruit. I had also ordered a miso soup but another soup was brought to us. We asked for the miso soup again, it was exchanged (we hadn't eaten it) BUT it was still charged. Nobody said “sorry” either. What a shame!!!!!

Beware Foodies, this is what they advertise as their Takkoyaki(see pic attached). This isn't Fusion but just a Con-Fusion.

A restaurant for the turistiche taste not what is authentic

I called the day before and reserved a table. When we came and said that we had reserved, they simply sat us at a free table in the corner and it was as if nothing had been reserved. The service staff is unfriendly and speaks very quietly. The food is good so far. The floating noodles were served cold.

Really quick friendly service. Quality of the food was good but I expected a little more. There would also be a little more on the plate. The Aperol for €7.50 is very affordable by Konstanz standards.

I always enjoy going here to eat, simply delicious and good cuisine. The lemonades are also very tasty.

It wasn't authentic at all. The food was far too sweet for a curry and the ribbon noodles were dry. The starter platter wasn't worth €22 and paying €17 for the amount of the dish is not acceptable. To do this you had to peel the dry shrimp yourself. It wasn't a good experience there and I can't recommend it.

Stylishly furnished location and friendly staff. Food below average in my opinion. We ordered spring rolls, seaweed salad, edamame and pho. Spring rolls were fresh, but 2 rolls for €7.50 is borderline. The pho was missing more than half of the spices, in terms of taste it was a good beef broth, but not pho. Proper pho has cloves, ginger, cardamom, anise, cinnamon, coriander, basil, mint, chili and lime. Here was just some coriander, chili and salt. We asked the friendly waitress to give us some condiments so that it was at least close to pho. Therefore I cannot recommend this restaurant at all.
