Sindo in Hannover

We had a mega evening yesterday. The food was fresh, super tasty and the service was also excellent. We can recommend this restaurant and will probably come here more often ourselves.

Here you will find very tasty Japanese specialties, with excellent service, at a fair price. It doesn't get any better.

As you can see, the Sushil is made with love. We love coming and enjoy the consistently delicious sushi. Thank you :)

We had delicious gyozas and makis in the very comfortably furnished restaurant. In addition to the excellent food, we were particularly struck by the very attentive service. Great care was taken to ensure that we were always well looked after and at the end there was a nice farewell conversation. We'd love to come back.

The sushi there is really excellent. Traditional and always freshly made. Every piece is a pleasure. You have to bring a lot of time there because the sushi is made individually and is therefore more time-consuming. But the wait is definitely worth it. Definitely recommended for true sushi lovers.

Everything is great but the toilets are...let's just say not inviting... This doesn't fit with the rest of the restaurant.

1st visit, sushi fresh and delicious. The service was amazing. My husband ate half the menu up and down. Price performance ratio top. Only the smell in the toilets could be improved. I'm looking forward to the next visit

There are no longer any traditional restaurants in Hanover. Please! Doesn't change that. 🫠 A traditional Japanese restaurant with an excellent quality of fish for sushi 🍣. The tea and dessert are really delicious. The only thing that is a bit unpleasant is the lack of another waiter. 🤷🏼‍♀️ But well, being patient and enjoying the food is the smartest thing to do in this case.

The food was served very slowly. The eel rice arrived 40 minutes after it was ordered. After the main course, the starter came 5 minutes later, which is ridiculous. The sashimi platter is not cheap, but the quality is not high. The prawns were very, very small and had obviously been frozen for a long time and only just thawed out. You could clearly taste the smell of the fridge. The eel rice was too sweet and the sauce was obviously a ready-made sauce, and the eel was probably also ready-made from the supermarket. I don't understand why this rating is so high. All in all, I am very disappointed with this restaurant!

1. Low efficiency and frustrating experience: We arrived the place at 7pm. And after 1 hour wait without any starter or soup we finally got the main dishes we ordered. And 10 minutes later when we finished everything(we were so starving after this treatment) there comes the starter. 2. Bad food quality: I mean the restaurant is not a cheap one. It is my first time to see a sashimi that is over 30EUR embeded with a shrimp which is with maximum 3cm length. 3. Missing your orders: The soup is included by the ell rice. And we realized there was no soup offered. Though after proactively asking the servant he apologized and made an addintional soup for us. Given the fact it is made when we were about to leave, we didn't enjoy this one at all.

Everything is good and tastes good.

My personal tip in Hanover for years when it comes to sushi. A great atmosphere, friendly and attentive service. We are always happy to come back for a cozy evening with good food!

The food was delicious. You should really like sushi, as the selection is very sushi-heavy. Families with small children are undesirable if they are not quiet, sit still or whisper. The gentleman reacted quite unkindly.

The sushi was just perfect! We went twice in 5 days. The fish was fresh, the rice was perfect. The starters magnificent. The service was true to Japanese standards. We loved the fact that it was very calm in the restaurant. It was exactly what we needed after a day's of hard work.

Poor quality has deteriorated significantly. Sashimi tuna was dark and smelled fishy. Service and chef ignored the comment. Edeka Sushi is even better and fresher.

There is a lunch menu. Very sushi-heavy. Unfortunately, the hot dishes also include sushi. This should be clearly separated in the future. The soups were delicious, even if the coconut soup had little content. What I didn't understand at all, there is only one soy sauce from Kikkoman. You can find these in every supermarket. I would have expected other alternatives here.

I regularly eat the bento boxes here during my lunch break. Very tasty and perfectly portioned. Gives strength to get through the rest of the working day and the gym visit afterwards

Exceptionally delicious food - I had the Sindo Menu II and absolutely loved it! The service was great, the atmosphere was cozy and the food was an absolute 15/10! As soon as I'm back in Hanover, I'll definitely come back! Absolute recommendation! (Unfortunately there are no photos, it was too delicious to wait for photos...)

Das beste japanische Essen seit langem! Vor allem der Okonomi Yaki ist ein Gedicht.

Schlicht und ohne Schnörkel eingerichtetes Restaurant. Sehr angenehme Atmosphäre. Das Essen ist sehr lecker, mega frische Zutaten, der Fisch zergeht fast auf der Zunge. Das Sushi wird nach der Bestellung frisch zubereitet. Top!!!

Gehobenes Sushi-Restaurant mit ausgezeichneter Qualität. Ich bin schon mehrfach in diesem Lokal gewesen. Man merkt den geschmacklichen Unterschied zum Sushi aus dem Supermarkt oder aus günstigen Restaurants sofort. Für die hier gebotene Qualität ist der leicht erhöhte Preis sehr gerechtfertigt. Für Neulinge in der japanischen Küche empfehle ich Version I des Menüs.

Das Essen war einfach super. Die Qualität hat mich geflashed. Die Wantan-Suppe, die gebratenen Maki, die Sushi. Auf jeden Fall sehr empfehlenswert. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist spitze.

Wie waren Heute spontan in Hannover und haben uns entschieden zu dritt im Sindo einzukehren. Der Service war absolut super, sehr höflich und vieles wurde erklärt und gezeigt. Das Ambiente war wirklich einladend, nicht übertrieben dekoriert und total entspannend. Zum Essen selbst kann ich nur sagen, es war das beste Sushi, was ich je gegessen habe. Alles sehr frisch, super Qualität und liebevoll angerichtet. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis hat hier auch absolut gestimmt. Für 3 Personen haben wir 102 € bezahlt, das macht pro Person 34 Euro für Vorspeise, mehrere Hauptgerichte inklusive einer Misosuppe, Getränke und Dessert. In meinen Augen mehr als Fair. Wir haben uns absolut wohl gefühlt und werden definitiv wieder kommen.

Wunderschöner kleiner Laden mit sehr netter und aufmerksamer Bedienung. Japanische Küche vom Feinsten zu echt fairen Preisen. Ich war sehr angenehm überrascht und werde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Sehr zu empfehlen!!!

Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen hat eine äußerst gute Qualität und ist vom Preis her optimal. Ich glaube, ich werde nun öfter da essen. Zudem ist das Ambiente ziemlich authentisch und einladend. Besonders gefällt mir, das man online da unkompliziert reservieren kann.

Ich bestelle hier gelegentlich zum mitnehmen. Dauert meist 20-40 Minuten, bis man es abholen kann. Sushi schmeckt mir sehr gut. Personal ist sehr freundlich.

Ein kleines nettes Restaurant. Allerdings waren die Wartezeiten sehr lang. Allein zwanzig Minuten bis das Getränk da ist. Weitere zwanzig bis die Suppe auf dem Tisch steht und noch länger warten, bis die Hauptspeise gebracht wird.

Das Essen war lecker und reichlich. Leider sind die schärferen Gerichte alle mit Fisch/Fleisch, ich hätte gern ein scharfes vegetarisches Gericht gegessen. Trotzdem war meine vegetarische Auswahl sehr lecker. Samstag abends muss man auf jeden Fall einen Tisch bestellen, das Lokal war bis auf den letzten Platz gefüllt. Die Bedienung war aufmerksam und freundlich.

Und hat das Essen im Sindo gefallen. Kleines Restaurant mit freundlichem Personal. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis geht voll in Ordnung.

Sehr authentisches und leckeres Sushi. Wir waren zum Mittagstisch dort und das kann ich nur empfehlen!

Wir waren mit 4 Personen Freitags mittags im Sindo. Wir alle sind ausgesprochene Sushi-Fans, sodass jeder von uns sich schnell auf der Karte zurecht fand. Wir hatten 3 x die Tempura Bento Box M4 für 13,90 und 1 x die Sake Bento Box M5 für ebenfalls 13,90 €. Alle Sushi waren hervorragend, der zu der Sake Bento Box gehörende Lachs war wundervoll gewürzt und auf etwas Sushi Reis serviert. Geschmacklich wundervoll. Das gilt auch für die Tempura-Gemüse, die schön frittiert waren aber nicht in Fett schwammen. Die Einrichtung ist herrlich zurückhaltend und klassisch japanisch, nicht so überladen wie bei vielen Thais oder Chinesen. Die Bedienung ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend, die Präsentation ebenfalls klassisch schlicht. Das gesamte Restaurant mag man ungerne wieder verlassen, weil es ein echter Ruhepunkt ist. Sushi is very good, we have ordered midday menu in several occasions, however one of the waiters was very rude and sharp so it left us disappointed.

Totz Hinweis auf meine Soja-Allergie wurde mir eine Tofusuppe statt der bestellten Kokosnusssuppe serviert, bei der die Tofustücke entfernt waren.

Wir kamen sehr spät, kurz vor Schluss und haben trotzdem noch was bekommen und alles war sehr gut und frisch. Danke

Great food, good service, lovely atmosphere... this family owned Japanese restaurant is the real deal. We got there last night (Tuesday) for a dinner date. The floor was fairly quiet, the interior is everything you expect it to be (with Hokusai prints) and the food was really tasty. We've ordered edamame, Gyozas, tea, miso soup, nigiris and sashimis... everything was perfect. The only minor was the fact that they did not have gluten free soy sauce.

Man kann es schnell auf den Punkt bringen. Essen (hatten Sushi) wirklich klasse und wie eigentlich üblich, mit lauwarmen Reis. Atmosphäre sehr laut, Einrichtung abgewohnt und nicht geeignet für ein nettes Essen zu zweit. Deshalb nur 4 Sterne, Dates ja hauptsächlich um das Essen geht. Meine Empfehlung: Sushi dort holen und at home essen 😉
