At an event at Hannover Zoo two days ago, I bought sushi at a KOURO food stand. I have never eaten such delicious sushi anywhere. The service was also super nice. Simply great and we will visit the KOURO in the city in the near future.

Außergewöhnliche Location durch dunkel Farben, Interieur, Scheiben. Fast alles in Schwarz gehalten dennoch gewöhnt man sich schnell an diese Atmosphäre. Der Service ist zuvorkommend und flink, die Karte ausreichend und mit außergewöhnlichen Spezialitäten gespickt. Digital mit Bildern unterlegt halten die Fotos was sie versprechen. Überaus lecker und reichlich portioniert. Kommen gerne wieder.

Interesting sushi restaurant in the city center. The service is very friendly and attentive. The ambience and furnishings seem valuable, but are too dark for me. The menu is only available online, which I find not appropriate and a shame for a restaurant in this price category. The food is good to very good but the prices are a bit too high compared to other good sushi providers. Serving the soy sauce in a spray bottle looks good, but it takes some getting used to. (I prefer to mix it with wasbi) Also a bit playful when preparing it, roasted grated ham on tuna sushi... why? Definitely worth a visit and testing it out for yourself.

A dream!!! The sushi is world class, the service is top and the employees/managers are very friendly and customer-oriented. We currently only use the delivery service and the sushi is very high quality and attractively packaged. See you next time :)

It was our first time here and the ambience does what it promises! Stylish, elegant with a certain calm. The food was amazing! You could taste the freshness straight away, a lot of thought went into the creations and the preparation was masterful. Also an absolute compliment to the service! The young lady who looked after us was courteous, extremely polite and always in the right place at the right time. Even when a small mistake happened in the kitchen (the same sushi twice instead of 2 different ones) it was corrected immediately and we basically got a portion for free. All in all, thank you very much for a very successful evening and for the service that made it possible! I will definitely come again!

It couldn't be worse... Here's the reasoning.......ordered sushi to take away from the store (theater str) for 63€, looked it up online...there's a 12€ surcharge when paying because it's more expensive here than delivery🤬🤬 🤬 Cress slapped on all the sushi... something like guacamole and tomato salad on the fried one... shocking... sushi rice has no taste... We only ordered because we received a voucher I'll stick with my regular sushi shop....sushi berlin osterstr Ps. You can get better sushi at Kaufland train station Kouro NEVER AGAIN

Perfect sushi, appetizers and dessert in a cool, modern club atmosphere! I discovered this restaurant about 1/2 year ago and am thrilled. The starters (Chili Cheese Tigers, Dumplings) are super tasty, followed by exceptionally tasty sushi rolls (especially the Relachs and the Yellow Fin Spice). An absolute highlight is the Creme Brulee dessert with tonka beans and walnut sorbet! The service is very courteous and professional. The dark furnishings look chic and modern. An absolute recommendation!

The vegan sushi was very tasty. There was a HUGE disappointment with the Crispy Chicken, there was almost no chicken in it. And it was mostly breading, much more so than the other crispy rolls. Also a lot of rice in general and little filling, fish etc. It's a shame for the price.

Top sushi restaurant. Excellent sushi and fast and friendly service. I think price/performance is completely reasonable. This is the only place I go to eat sushi in the region. Wasn't my last visit. Keep it up.

Very nice restaurant with high quality sushi. The soy sauce in perfume bottles is unusual. We particularly liked the special rolls. Although these are anything but traditional, they are incredibly tasty and an exciting change from standard sushi. Highly recommended!

Restaurant has great decor as well as atmosphere. The food was beautifully prepared and tasted of a very high standard. The prices are high, but considering the location of the restaurant, they are justified. Unfortunately we had to wait a long time for the dishes. In return, the owner did not charge for the dessert without being asked. This is a big plus for me and enhances the overall appearance of the restaurant.

Bad price-performance ratio. A lot of money for little food. Unfortunately it's sad because the location is actually very nice.

Very good vegan sushi. The touch with the soja sauce dispenser is nice :)

The whole experience feels like a rip off. The food is way too over priced and the quality is not good. The gimmick with the eau de soja is rather annoying

Supposed to be fancy but Sushi is average. Prices aren't justified. One appetizer we had was quite nice, but the inside-out rolls were ridiculously small. I would not recommend ordering them.

We just ordered directly from Kouro Sushi to our home and are really excited 🤩 starting with the internet presence (easy ordering, very good pictures) even though they said a longer delivery time, everything went quickly 👍 the packaging and the friendly driver increased the anticipation extremely! The food really kept up the standard and put a huge smile on our faces!!! As of today, Kouro is No. 1 in Town for us🥰 Thanks for this taste explosion👌

The two of us visited the restaurant on a Wednesday evening in May 2023. Unfortunately the service left a lot to be desired. The sushi was tasty and reasonable for the price. The soy sauce to spray was nice to look at. When we wanted to pay, we waited more than 20 minutes until one of us went to the counter and ordered the bill. Overall the visit was okay. Personally, we find other sushi shops in Hanover's city center to be of higher quality, cheaper and with a better quality of service.

An evening at Kouro is always something special. On the one hand, the ambience in Hanover is unparalleled. On the other hand, the employees always manage to serve the first-class sushi variations and drinks in a friendly and customer-oriented manner. G.S.

Very well-kept atmosphere, but a bit dark in the lighting. The background noise is very pleasant even when the restaurant is full. The food is excellent and we had a nice time with very attentive service.

One of our absolute favorite restaurants! Everything is just right here. If you like some unusual sushi, you can't miss Kouro! Our tip: lots of tuna, the chili cheese tigers and the creme brulee. But we also enjoy many other things from the menu here! ☺️

Location top, Essen flop. Sushi sind sehr klein, geschmacklich überhaupt nichts besonderes, sie hätten aus jedem x beliebigen Sushilokal sein können. Bei dieser Preisklasse hätte ich auch erwartet, dass z.B. gratis Häppchen vor dem Hauptgang serviert werden - ist aber nicht der Fall gewesen. Außerdem sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig, dass die Soya Sauce auf das Sushi gesprüht (!) werden muss und nicht gedippt. Hat uns so überhaupt nicht gefallen. Wir werden nicht wiederkommen, für den Preis war das nicht gerechtfertigt.

Wow, das ist mal was besonderes! Tolle neue Sushi-Kreationen und noch dazu in edler Verpackung geliefert. Wir waren alle begeistert, auch von der super pünktlichen Lieferung. Können wir uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Danke

Sehr leckeres Sushi , ausgefallene Karte mit guter Auswahl.

Wir waren sehr begeistert von der Qualität des Sushi's. Es gab auch eine gute Auswahl an veganen Optionen. Die Einrichtung ist elegant und im dunklen Stil gehalten. Die Sojasoße wird extravagant in einer Parfümflasche gereicht, was für uns ein kleines Highlight war. Unbedingt vorher reservieren (online problemlos möglich). Das Servicepersonal war sehr freundlich, der Preis liegt auf einem vorhersehbaren Niveau, sprich etwas teurer als andere Restaurants der gleichen Art. 5/5 🌟

Das Sushi ist sehr lecker. Allerdings würde ich mich auch mal um die Sauberkeit der Toiletten kümmern. An der Klobrille hat Blut geklebt und es stinkt da unten wie die Pest. Wenn das Essen schon so eine gute Qualität hat, sollte man sich auch um den Rest kümmern.

Wir hatten eine Lieferung von Kouro und ich war überrascht, wie schön und ästhetisch das Essen verpackt war. Schlichte Eleganz, Liebe zum Detail und frisches, leckeres Essen! Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist völlig in Ordnung. Wenn ich wieder in Hannover bin, werde ich dieses Restaurant persönlich besuchen. Vielen Dank!

Super leckeres Sushi (sehr ausgefallene, besondere Kreationen) und fancy Ambiente! Nach der Bestellung mussten wir nicht lange auf das Sushi warten. Der Service war sehr nett. Man sollte besser reservieren. Wir haben zwar ohne Reservierung einen Platz bekommen, konnten aber beobachten, dass viele Leute nach uns keinen bekommen haben.

We had a horrible evening and were treated horrendously by the staff. Despite having a reservation and tables being empty inside, we were forced to sit outside where it was freezing. If we wanted to order, we would have to stand up and go inside to search for the staff. Mind you again, that we did have a reservation. So it makes no sense to value one reservation of people who aren't even there over people that are. We can only assume that our looks may have been part of it, although we have no definite evidence for that. Regardless, the service was unacceptable and we would never recommend this place.

Wir waren neulich das erste Mal im Kouro und waren von der Atmosphäre sehr begeistert. Der Laden ist super schick und edel eingerichtet. Das Personal war sehr feundlich und wir wurden den Abend über zuvorkommend und herzlich bedient. Das Essen war super lecker. Ich hatte vegetarisches Sushi und meine Freundin eine Bowl. Wir können den Laden auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen und kommen gerne wieder :)

Sushi ist wirklich lecker, aber dafür auch ziemlich teuer. Unter 50€ pro Person wird man hier nicht satt. Beim Betreten des Restaurants begenet man einen unangenehmen Geruch von Abwasser, der beim Gang in die im Keller gelegenen Toiletten sich weiter intensiviert.

Ein sehr gutes Sushi Restaurant in bester Lage in Hannover. Die Einrichtung ist sehr edel und die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich. Uns hat das Essen sehr gut geschmeckt. Wir konmmen gerne wieder.

Ich habe ja schon an vielen Orten Sushi gegessen auf dieser Welt, aber dieses Restaurant gehört definitiv zu den besten drei, in denen ich je gegessen habe. Das Ambiente ist unglaublich, wie das alles eingerichtet ist mit den dunklen Tönen die Stimmung die Tische einfach absolut Top. Das Sushi ist nicht einfach nur eine Sushi Rolle, sie wird verziert mit speziellen Saucen man kriegt dort Sushi die man sonst nirgends kriegt. Also man merkt, das ist wirklich ein absolutes Top Restaurant kann ich nur weiterempfehlen. Einzig das komische Sojafläschchen wo ist wie eine Parfumflasch und nichts raus kommt könmte man verbessern.

Sehr leckeres Sushi. Eine exotische Vielfalt an Sushis, die ich nirgends gesehen habe. Viel kann man dazu nicht sagen außer dass es etwas teuer ist aber sonst top. Achtung ! Verpackungsgebühr vorhanden was reinster Schwachsinn ist, statt das Essen wegzuschmeißen.

Ristorante giapponese non convenzionale. I piatti sono ricercati e con abbinamenti particolari! I prezzi non sono bassi (circa 16€ a piatto) ma la qualità è molto alta! Il locale e' molto chic e tutto è molto raffinato! Vi torneremo sicuramente la prossima volta che saremo ad Hannover!!

Waren gestern für einen Mädelsabend im Kouro. Für Sushi-Liebhaber ist dieses Restaurant ganz großes Kino!!! Der Service war hervorragend und äußerst charmant. Die Vorspeisen, Sushivariationen sowohl die Desserts im Geschmack und Präsentation genial und sehr besonders!!!! Das Ambiente etwas dunkel, trotzdem mit Wohlfühlcharakter und sehr stylisch. Wir kommen wieder!!!!!

Habe soeben Sushi abgeholt. Es war ein Vergnügen - es war total appetitlich angerichtet ! Sehr hochwertig verpackt ! Sushi war sehr sehr lecker und das frittierte Sushi war nicht pappig ! Abholzeit - angeben - angekommen - Mitgenommen & genüsslich zu Hause gegessen ! Mega ! Preis und Leistung und Geschmack 10/10 ! Danke ☺️

Erwachsenen-Erziehung in der #Gastronomie als neuester Trend in #Hannover: Das #KOURO hat als erstes Lokal in Hannover einen Mitarbeiter für "Erwachsenenerziehung" engagiert. Mir passierte heute im überdachten Außenbereich des KOURO ein kleines Malheur: Ich ließ meinen Zigarillo-Stummel auf den Boden fallen und habe den dann noch ausgedrückt. Der ist ohne Filter, Tabakreste verrotten in der Regel schnell. Mehr hat es nicht gebraucht, der unfreundliche Bar-Kellner hatte kein "Guten Tag" oder "Guten Abend" für mich übrig, er wies mich umgehend forsch und unhöflich darauf hin und deutete auf den Mülleimer in der Ecke, welchen ich gefälligst als Aschenbecher zu benützen hätte. Verständlicherweise war ich nach einem stressigen Tag und einer intensiven Arbeitswoche nicht besonders aufmerksam. Es ist bekannt, dass viele Raucher ihre Stummel achtlos wegwerfen, sei es vor dem Lokal oder auf der Straße. Ich versuche stets, Aschenbecher zu nutzen, doch manchmal passiert mir solch ein Fehler. Durch diesen Vorfall wurde mein Abend getrübt. Es erscheint mir unangebracht, wenn ein Kellner einen Gast auf diese Weise forsch unfreundlich belehrt, vor allem, wenn der gesamte Außenbereich ebenfalls ungepflegt ist. Kellner in der Gastronomie sind Dienstleister. Ein respektvoller Umgang mit dem Gast, der schließlich die Rechnung und in der Regel ein Trinkgeld bezahlt, sollte an erster Stelle stehen. Nun zum Lokal und zum Essen: Ich habe dieses Restaurant bislang sechsmal besucht. Die Qualität des Sushis war immer gut, nahezu 3 von 5 Sterne. Ich habe Sushi in Wien, Paris, Saint Tropez und in Mallorca bei Sternekoch Thomas Wilden gegessen. Gemessen an diesen Destinationen und kulinarischen Erlebnissen liegt das Kouro für mich derzeit gerade noch bei 3 von 5 Sternen. Ich schreibe das, um die hohen Sterne-Bewertungen hier bei Google zu relativieren. Klassisches, ausgezeichnetes Sushi gibt es in Hannover an anderen Stellen, mit weniger Ambiente und zum halben Preis. Besonders an diesem Abend stellte ich einen Qualitätsverlust fest: Auf einem Sushi-Menü, das mit zwei Getränken fast 130 Euro kostet, haben insgesamt nicht marinierte, dazu noch welke und faulige Salatblätter nichts zu suchen. Die dicken Chili-Scheiben und übermäßigen Röstzwiebeln auf dem Sushi sollten vom Koch überdacht werden, um dem Preisniveau des Restaurants gerecht zu werden. Es besteht Optimierungspotenzial. Service: Als wir um 18:00 Uhr ankamen, fühlten wir uns nicht wirklich willkommen. Eine herzliche Begrüßung fehlte gänzlich. Bei einem zu dreiviertel leeren Lokal und einem verwaisten Außenbereich hätte man Gäste eigentlich herzlicher empfangen können. Ein fast leeres Lokal und die Kellnerin vermittelt das Gefühl: "Da können sie aber noch froh sein einen Tisch zu bekommen." Es ist wirklich unfassbar, was sich Gäste heute bieten lassen müssen. Ein weiterer Punkt meiner Kritik betrifft die ausschließlich digitale Speisekarte, die lediglich über das Handy abrufbar ist. Dies passt nicht zu einem Restaurant dieser Preisklasse, es ist außerdem mühsam auf dem Handy eine Speisenfolge auszuwählen, zu zweit, im schummrigen Licht. Die weiblichen Kellnerinnen waren größtenteils sehr engagiert und freundlich. Dennoch sollte es nicht passieren, dass Gäste 15 Minuten mit einem leeren Glas sitzen, ohne erneut bedient zu werden. Die Musik war nervig und wirkte wenig ausgewählt an diesem Abend. Das Baby von anderen Gästen am Tisch hinter uns wollte das Essen nicht im Mund behalten. Anstatt zu helfen warf der Bar- Kellner einen angewiderten Blick auf die Familie. Hey! Ihr arbeitet im Service, hätte man nicht einfach Servietten bringen können, eine Schale heißes Wasser mir Zitrone? Fragen: Können wir Ihnen helfen? Zum Schluss empfahl ich dem Bar-Kellner, zuerst den Eingangsbereich zu reinigen und Schmutz zu beseitigen, bevor er Gäste wegen eines Zigarillo-Stummels maßregelt. Er hörte mir nur frech grinsend zu, drehte sich dann weg. In der Vergangenheit zählte ich mich zu den Gästen, doch nach dieser Erfahrung werde ich das Restaurant meiden.

Für mich das beste Sushi in Hannover! Hier erwartet einen kein Standard-Sushi, sondern außergewöhnliche Sushi-Kreation, die in ihrer Kombination einfach unschlagbar sind. Neben einem super Service gibt es noch ein wirklich schönes und edles Ambiente dazu. Es ist natürlich nicht das günstigste Restaurant, aber wirklich jeden Euro wert!

Wir waren zum Abendessen da, die Bedienung war schnell und freundlich, gute Cocktails. Leider hat man auf das Essen ziemlich viel gewartet, die Portionen waren relativ klein und allgemein hat uns das Essen nicht geschmeckt, also die Preis-Leistung war nicht gut. Zusammenfassend gute Atmosphäre , aber es gibt leckereres Sushi in Hannover.

Edel und doch gemütlich, aussergewöhnlich und doch vertraut, alles etwas anders als die Anderen, aber alles TOP ! Hannovers beste Adresse.

Sehr gutes Sushi Restaurant in zentraler Lage mitten in Hannover. Der Service und die Mitarbeiter vor Ort sind äußerst freundlich, das Essen ist schön drapiert und qualitativ hochwertig. Die Inneneinrichtung passt zum Gesamtkonzept. Japanisch, modern und edel. Vielen Dank für den guten Abend!
