Kyoto Sushi in Hannover

The sushi is very meager at €15, and the bowl is also €14. So don't come here hungry! Not very welcoming, which I wouldn't mind if the food was good and plentiful.

They really make the most of the short time available here. The food is excellent and arrives super quickly. I love the miso soup, with a light teriyaki flavor and sesame. The bowl was fresh and well-balanced. I'd go back anytime.

To be honest, I was negatively surprised. The shop looks nice, but the food isn't good at all. We ordered something, and it was completely different from the picture. The eggs were much too hard-boiled and cold, and the meat was also presented completely differently (number 75). There was vegetables in it that weren't listed anywhere or shown in the pictures, and so on... The price is okay, but only if you get something decent!! (We checked that it was the right dish!) And they often forget to bring something, or they bring the wrong one, and there are much better sushi options, but they were okay. 👍 Added: Extremely unfriendly staff. At first, they were very nice, but when we paid, they yelled at us and chased us out of the shop like dogs. I have to say, we ate perfectly normally and behaved politely and said goodbye. It's not as if we were causing a disturbance or complaining (on the premises).

We paid €27 for this very small portion (+ two miso soups not pictured). I find that very expensive. Especially since the soup portions were tiny (the cup was only 1/5 full) and the sushi rolls were also very small. The dumplings used to come with an extra sauce, but that was missing here as well. The taste was very good, but unfortunately, I don't think the price-performance ratio is good. This was only enough to fill one person, even though it was intended for two.

The food was okay. Unfortunately, the manager and his wife were very unfriendly. We ordered the gourmet block (this is supposed to be an advertisement), but it's apparently not well-received. When we mentioned it, the atmosphere was completely lost. I wonder why they even offer it if there's no interest in it. Unfortunately, the good manager was very unfriendly. There was no bill, but anyone can guess why.

Very delicious food. There's sushi, bibimbap, Japanese and Thai curry, miso soup, ramen, and udon. Simply everything.

I ordered food here and therefore can't comment on the atmosphere. My delivery arrived extremely late, and cancellation was apparently not possible, even though the driver hadn't even picked up the food. I allowed plenty of time, but the delivery was still significantly late. The food itself wasn't really warm, and the portion, apart from the rice, was very small and consisted almost entirely of sauce. Another order was also delivered incorrectly, with shrimp instead of salmon, which I don't like, as you could be allergic to something like that. The delivery service, in this case Wolt, apparently couldn't help me either. I think it's a real shame that you can't expect anything for your money these days.

Unfortunately the store has gone down a lot! I used to go there regularly and everything was ok! However, things have deteriorated a lot, especially with the hygiene of the food!!!! Salmon lies open + undetected, cooling only inferior! Rice is also lying uncovered behind the counter, the waitress is coughing heavily the whole time while preparing it, so customers immediately leave when they come in....... Generally the service was very unfriendly! Got diarrhea in the evening - for the second time after eating sushi at the deli :(( As I said, this store has gone down a lot......... for the last time for me!!!!

The food is okay, the restaurant is probably more good for a quick snack. It could be made more comfortable. The service is great!

I go there regularly and never had any problems. The staff is always nice and the food tastes great. Especially the sushi and thai curry.

Vegetarians are allowed. The service staff can only speak Vietnamese. If you don’t eat onions, garlic and onions, please consider this.

We entered the restaurant and were greeted warmly, but when the waiter noticed our gourmet block, he seemed visibly cold and asked if we wanted to use it. After a short wait, we received our plates 69 A and B, each of which contained 5 (five) small pieces of meat in addition to the rice and vegetables. The taste was still just acceptable; we left hungry. The other Asian restaurants in Schlemmerblock are really a class above.

On our way home we were looking for a quick and easy way to grab something to eat - ideally near Hanover Central Station. On the Niki Promenade we discovered the Sushi Deli, a small, inviting shop. We were warmly greeted as soon as we entered. The menu with attractive pictures at the entrance made the decision easy for us, so we already knew what we wanted to order. The ordering process was straightforward and after about ten minutes we received our freshly prepared food. We were absolutely impressed by the quality and taste - everything was fresh, delicious and prepared with great attention to detail. We were thrilled and can recommend Sushi Deli wholeheartedly!

I ordered a dish with salmon. Unfortunately the salmon was hardly visible, completely different from what was pictured. Great small portion. The atmosphere was also uncomfortable, the air was very stuffy. Too bad.

We stopped by because of the Schlemmerblock 2025. Everything seems very clean and well furnished. The employees were very nice and the waiting time for the food was short. Unfortunately, the main course (Japanese curry) simply wasn't convincing. The sushi, however, was very tasty. Unfortunately, the Schlemmerblock voucher was also not accepted because we didn't have two main courses (we had a total of 1x main course and 3x sushi). I find this decision a bit sad.

Food tastes good, the price is a lot but ok and really unfriendly you are being taken for a ride all the time you order something completely different you give the hint I ordered this and that they say no it's not true no it's not true, so if customers are treated like that I'll never go there again in the future This wasn't an isolated incident, it happened several times

Conventional Thai curry in fine-dining portions. The former "Kyoto Sushi" is now called "Sushi Deli" and looks a lot more appealing from the inside. We had Thai and Japanese curry and both were totally over salted. The portions were proportionate - but only when it came to sauce and rice. The proportion of vegetables and meat was very low. The Japanese curry doesn't have much of the original Japanese curry. It is a yellowish, transparent liquid that contains normal Thai curry vegetables. Only the slight aftertaste is reminiscent of Japanese curry. For a stable €11.50 the portion is very sobering. The staff was dismissive, not welcoming and probably only spoke mediocre German.

Very tasty sushi, would like to try something else from the menu soon. Pleasant coworkers. I would dim/warm up the lights in the restaurant and turn on some music

The shop on Pasarelle looks inconspicuous, but has an extensive and interesting menu with delicious Ebi Dim Sum and various ramen in addition to the normal sushi. The unagi sushi was pretty good too, the dumplings were heavenly and the miso seafood ramen was great. Unfortunately, the Japanese curry hardly reminded me of anything like that. It was very runny and light yellow. Overall, we enjoyed it and will definitely come back. The order didn't take long either.

The chefs are really nice. The ramen served here is absolutely incredible. They are rich in ingredients and taste delicious. When I'm back in Hanover, I definitely want to eat there again.

First of all: Pay attention to the reviews, the accounts seem to have been for all 3 of the same restaurants (2 in Hamburg and one here). We were there with neotaste (2:1 for main courses, sushi boxes up to €30). When asked, the waiter doesn't understand anything, he has to get the boss. When he arrived, he said that two boxes of the same price couldn't be combined, one had to be cheaper (even though the deal says that the one with the same price OR cheaper is free and that's how it is handled everywhere). By then he was already becoming unfriendly. We then took a box that was one euro cheaper, and that's where we ran out of arguments. The tea that was brought to us was from Lidl and only half filled. Afterwards, every table was given a starter (dumplings) except us. However, the food was quite good, 7.5/10. At the end, when we were about to pack the food, he slapped a box on the table and said something in Japanese to the other employee, whereupon they both laughed - highly disrespectful. When we said goodbye, we weren't even worthy of a glance, let alone a reaction to our goodbye. Restaurant operators usually know why they are with neotaste. To leave a good impression so that customers want to come back. It doesn't seem to be the case here.

For me the best sushi shop in Hanover. Always fresh and high quality. The service is always friendly and generous when I come.

We ordered a large plate of Tokyo sushi, tempura and a few other smaller dishes. The service was polite and the food was ready quickly. The food was reasonably priced and delicious! I can recommend it!

Since the Sushi Deli opened or had an overhaul, i had to re-review it. The Food menu is new and has variety, though 3,50 for a miso soup is to be honest overkill, that portion ain't worth more than 50 cents. Now to the ramen. Oh god. I ordered the seafood ramen, and it's the worst ramen i ate in my entire life, even when i started cooking them myself it wasn't THIS bad. Basically you got a bowl like in a cyberpunk dystopia where for 13,50 you get a bowl half filled with the broth (which tasted like someone just smacked a bit of the paste in and stirred it and it still tastes bland), unseasoned seafood, literally almost through-cooked eggs and bland vegetables. I don't know how the rest is but i will not set my foot into this establishment anymore, I've never been insulted this hard on the food spectrum.

Be careful when you eat here!!! While eating i found 2 worms and let the service know, i took them out and put them on a tissue They first told me they will be more careful, and then that they found no more worms in their kitchen. No apologies and no compensation. I couldn’t finish my soup because i found it gross. But they did not give me new dish or refunded me the money. The reason for it was: that i already ate it. (The worms were inside the cabbage pieces) But except the worm story the food was not good anyways….

Very bad review, not because of the food but because they say on Google that they are open on Sunday even though they are closed.

Ordered 2 x curry. Taste wise i. Oh, but nothing more. Both dishes were cold rather than warm. Regarding the service: We had shown a voucher from NeoTaste in advance and it was confirmed that it would be accepted. During the payment process there were discussions with the cashier. He was of the opinion that we had not met the voucher conditions and wanted to charge the full price. After a discussion he finally gave in. Out of frustration, he gave us all his change as change. The food is really not that special (we had Japanese curry and Thai curry). Prices are okay. Kindness is okay. I didn't think it was so cool that two young women were forbidden to go to the bathroom without eating something in the store. You could also only pay in cash.

I was a customer of Kyoto Sushi for years, but since they remodeled and redid everything, I'm rather dissatisfied My sushi had wasabi in it even though it wasn't listed in the ingredients and I'm not talking about the extra wasabi that's always included, but really in the sushi! Also, unfortunately it doesn't taste nearly as good as Kyoto Sushi... :/ I miss it a lot and will probably look for a new sushi restaurant...

Ordered ramen and it was just disappointing. Coriander in it, even though it didn't say so. Miso broth completely tasteless. We had to add soy sauce to get any taste.

The sushi really tastes perfect. However, the atmosphere and cleanliness of the restaurant are not that great. In addition, payment can only be made by cash or Paypal (😂).

Das kleine, sehr einfache Restaurant befindet sich im Untergeschoss des Bahnhofsvorplatzes. Wir hatten es erst gar nicht gefunden! 😂 Das Essen war frisch, schnell fertig, sehr schmackhaft und vom Preis her absolut in Ordnung. Das einzige was ich ich überteuert fand, war der laut Speisekarte "große", aber nach meinem Empfinden ehr kleine Algensalat für vier, sowie die Flasche Mineralwasser für stolze 8 Euro!

If you want a good sushi, bento or ramen stop by Kyoto sushi. Even though they only accept cash, the food is acctualy suprisingly tastful. Authentic though not spicy enough to Pass as original. Superb price/value. Recommended!

Nicht von der Größe des Restaurants täuschen lassen! Das Essen ist frisch und unheimlich lecker. Ich esse alle paar Wochen Sushi von Kyoto und es war immer super lecker! Das Personal immer nett und herzlich. Wartezeiten sind für Sushizubereitung auch normal. Die Preise sind mehr als fair, wenn man die Qualität des Produkts berücksichtigt! Meiner Meinung nach eines der besten Sushi-Restaurants in Hannover!

Das vegetarische Sushi ist sehr lecker - frisch und mit tollen Gemüsekombis. Die Bedienung ist überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend. Preise sind ok, für Sushi noch nicht mal besonders hoch. Man wird satt! 👌🏻😊

Unser Lieblingsrestaurant. Klein aber fein. Wir essen hier oder bestellen zum Mitnehmen bis zu zweimal im Monat. Sehr leckere Sushis und die beste Tom Kha Kokosnussmilchsuppe. Das Personal ist nett. Die Atmosphäre und Preise stimmen.

Bester und frisch-Ester Sushi Laden in der Umgebung. Auch andere Speisen sind dort Mega lecker. Preis-Leistung Top Mitarbeiter Top Freundlich und kompetent wenn man etwas nicht kennen sollte und fragen hat. Ambiente ist gut klein aber Fein. Fazit: Besuch Lohnt sich sehr!

Heute, 02.07.2021 zum Mittagstisch da gewesen. Für 15 € eine Sushiplatte aus dem Mittagsmenü und drei zusätzliche Nigiri aus der Karte bestellt. Das war schon eine richtig ordentliche Portion. Es war sehr lecker. Der Reis hat die perfekte Konsistenz und ist sehr fein abgeschmeckt. Der Fisch ist superfrisch und wirklich beste Qualität. Zum Mittagstisch gibt es Wakamesalat oder Misosuppe nach Wahl dazu. Beides lecker. Im Vergleich zum etwa preisgleichen Sushi von Edeka liegt dieser Laden deutlich vorn. Die Sushi werden nach der Bestellung ganz frisch fertig gemacht und liebevoll angerichtet. Das geht auch recht fix. Es gibt genug Ingwer, Wasabi und Sojasoße dazu (wir haben vor Ort gegessen) und auf Wunsch sicherlich Nachschlag. Haben wir aber nicht gebraucht. Die nächsten Sushi gibt's wieder von hier.
