Super delicious food, something you rarely find in Cologne!

Very tasty and exactly the way I know it from home. Highly recommended.

The food here was never fantastic. The Samsa's dough was too thick, the meat too salty, and the exteriors burnt. The plov was too spicy, despite real plov not suppose to being spicy. The lagman is served in a shallow plate, so not much soup in there. Despite all of these shortcomings, I used to enjoy coming to this place. It was a little piece of Central Asia where I could eat some Uzbek food when homesick. But today, the awful service I received convinced me that it's not worth eating here. If you are craving Uzbek food, you can always go to the Uzbek restaurant in Frankfurt or to another one in Duesseldorf. The new wait staff, unfortunately, have no idea what service means. They were stubborn, unfriendly, and nasty young kids. Won't be coming here again.

Insanely delicious food. Two of us are originally from Uzbekistan and found the plov very good. We were all really excited and the portions are also decent. Can definitely go again!!

The staff was extremely nice and respectful. The restaurant is warm and cozy. And the most important thing, namely the food, was delicious and very close to Uzbek cuisine. You have to keep in mind that Germans don't like eating lamb that much, so some dishes are made with beef. In addition, the plov and the manty have significantly longer preparation times than a meatball or a schnitzel. A nice restaurant with very good food. New taste experiences that are worth it. We had 3 dishes and each was very good. I can only recommend it. Please remember that there is no alcohol here, but that didn't matter to us. We'll be back to try more highlights of the Silk Road. The deduction comes because the sanitary facilities were very cold, but clean and that is important.

You can understand the good reviews. After a vacation in Central Asia we felt reminded. Friendly service, very tasty authentic food, there are only non-alcoholic drinks, the atmosphere in the restaurant is simple, but the food picked us up. We were very satisfied 😃

We visited couple of weeks ago and were not disappointed. We made a reservation to make sure we got a table, since it was the weekend. Dogs allowed inside. The menu is pretty good sized and has typical Central Asian dishes. The food seemed pretty accurate and not transformed for local preference. Very good quality. Friendly service. Highly recommend!

It was our first time eating at Silkroad and we were skeptical at first. Everything we tried was simply phenomenal and a culinary delight. We ordered the manty with minced meat, the lagman and plow. Be it the generous filling of the manti, the tender meat of the plow or the indescribably good, intense taste of the lagman - we were simply thrilled. Always my pleasure!

The food overall was really really good - great salad, fantastic bread, just delicious. Only the lagmen were in the water for a few seconds too long. The service is very friendly and accommodated us when it came to changing the dishes to vegetarian options. Overall it was a very nice experience.

Fast service, normal prices, the pilaf is delicious and, in principle, one serving can easily be enough for two. (I would remove the sausage from Olivier; it has too strong a smoky taste and should be chopped finer.) The place is good, I recommend it.

We came from Augsburg to work in Köln, there is no Uzbek restaurant in our city, so we visited here. The food is generally good here but from my point of view Plov is not the one I was eating in Uzbekistan! The prices are reasonable and the staff is good! I can really recommend it - for Germany is really good restaurant. The minus they don’t sell alcohol - you can drink tea which is good. We had plov, samsa and lamb.

The staff is flexible, which means that each guest has 1 plate, dishes in the middle. From a culinary point of view it was terrific. Be careful: no alcohol is served there, but "the fountain", 10m away, can quench your thirst for beer. The food is brought to the table inside or out the back. reserved or check the opening times . Drive to the vringsveedel and enjoy it.

Very inconspicuous from the outside but definitely worth a visit. The dishes are truly extraordinary and I have never found them anywhere else in Cologne. I had a braised beef dish and the meat was so tender you could cut through it with a fork. The portions are very large and you will definitely be full. The staff is very friendly. I will definitely come back to try out more of your menu.

The food was very tasty and you don't have it every day. Tea with it was great and really good value for money. Definitely a recommendation. Service and the ambience are also very good. The dishes will definitely be tried out further.

A very good place of service at the highest level, the kurutob was delicious but there was very little fatir, the atmosphere was like in my homeland, but I gave it a 4 because we ordered samsa, we wanted tandoori, but they brought it ready in the oven and it was not tasty, I cook better in the oven if I worked here then samsa would have been number 1, so everyone who was doubtful there said 😊😊 and then thank you for everything

To everyone who misses their homeland... Here you will remember the taste of childhood and experience Asian hospitality... A varied menu: manti, kuratop, lagman, samsa and delicious Chak-Chak for tea... And this is not the whole list... It is very tasty, satisfying and aromatic. The meat is so tender, it just melts in your mouth! Beautiful presentation of dishes and friendly service. I recommend it from the bottom of my heart!!!

Generally very good Uzbek cuisine. My only minor criticism is that the portion was small and I had to order something extra, e.g. Many are only 5 pieces, but they are super tasty.

Unfortunately the food wasn't particularly good. Except for the meat in the dishes, which was really good, everything was very unseasoned and boring. The service was nice, but everything took a long time even though the store wasn't full.

The food is better than the Germans, but not quite what I expected, the choice is not large and the design is so-so....... I wish there was more such cuisine in German cities... for example in Dusseldorf, and more variety..

I can't say that the food was bad, but the expectations were much higher and the food could use more taste. Unfortunately the lamb was quite dry and there was very little meat in the plov. The service was good and the ambience too.

I was born in Dushanbe and have eaten Central Asian cuisine all my life and I have to say that every dish I order here tastes very good and, above all, is authentic. We had Lagman, Olivier, Samsa, Manti with chopped meat (not from the meat grinder, as is often done) and Manti with potatoes. The children also enjoyed it and we look forward to trying plov next time. Clear recommendation!

Food was very much "comfort food". No crazy spices, just perfectly seasoned simple ingredients (especially the succulent manty). Our order came really fast.

We loved the manty with beef and the samsa with chicken. My friend enjoyed the plow a lot. The lamb ribs were not our cup of tea. They were too chewy. If you like tea, definitely recommend to order any of the tea options. 2€ for a whole pot of fresh tea brewed with dried tea leaves 👌Make sure to go there early. We went at 20:00 and many dishes were sold out already 🥲

I am originally from Uzbekistan and was very happy to have discovered an Uzbek restaurant in Cologne. Manti, lagman, samsa (especially delicious with pumpkin) and kurutob tasted delicious. Carrot salad is also highly recommended. The service was also great. We'd love to come again! A clear recommendation!

A hidden pearl of Cologne gastronomy 🐚 & 🍴 Clear menu with a high meat content, but I also found something very tasty vegetarian (Manty with pumpkin + eggplant salad) 🍖 & 🎃 Wonderful, new flavor compositions that surprised my palate very positively 👅 & 😲 Not the right place for a candlelight dinner, but an absolute recommendation for a meal with a friend 🕯️& 👌🏽 The Tschak Tschak as a dessert wasn't quite my cup of tea, but that's certainly a matter of taste. I would have been happy about more Central Asian drinks, but they always only appear on the menu in summer 🍶 & 🌻

It could be better if the meat in the meals were charred, grilled or braised instead of deep frying. Otherwise, everything else is very good and tasty. The salad with vermicelli is very well done. Full pot of hot tea served with the meal felt so good while it was snowing outside.

Из больших минусов - отсутствие парковочных мест, так как центр города. В остальном, по обстановке - типичная третьесортная забегаловка. Но сама еда понравилась.
