Super friendly and funny staff, great service and food, would love to come back

Exceptional food (especially the lamb)!

Cosy restaurant that serves excellent food at a reasonable price. We were the only customers at 17.30, and our food was made quickly. Definitely recommend.

I know it’s not faffy French food - but give this place a couple of Michelin Stars. Such good food - I ate traditional German pork skewers and potato salad with a slaw. Couldn’t have been better. Thank you. Oh and they did mine glutenfrei gluten free perfectly. Wonderful.

We stayed near Cologne Central Station and found a popular restaurant. I went without a reservation on a Friday night, but the hostess arranged a seat for me indoors and let me in. There are also seats outside. I ate the Wiener Schnitzel that I wanted and the grilled lamb. Both were so delicious that I ended up eating way too much.

A delicious, friendly German restaurant.

A Gem not far from the Dom. They are fully booked but the nice lady let us sit outside and take care of us. Everything in the menu is good, the lamb is tender and juicy, wienerschintzel, shrimp is fresh, baked cheese is yummy.

Top dinner! Lamb shank and Wienerschnitzel were excellent👌🏼. Not exactly cheap in price, but reasonable for the quality.

Friendly service, good wine, very tasty food

Today, 8 of my guests and I came to have dinner here. As soon as we entered, we smelled fish. We ordered the food, thinking it would pass, and while we were waiting, the smell of excessive oil was very disturbing. But the place was nice, so we continued to wait. The appetizers came first, then we waited for the food for a long time, and during this time, the smell of burnt oil and the smell of fish combined, so the environment was exposed to an extremely disgusting smell. The food arrived, it looked beautiful and tasted mostly good, but it was terribly salty. Meats, potatoes and salad were particularly salty. Most of the employees here were helpful, but one of their managers (a slightly overweight short-haired lady) overreacted when we told her that the food was salty as feedback while paying the bill. 20 guests came before you and no one said anything, she said, "You are just complaining about this for some reason." He humiliated me because I looked Asian, discriminated against me by saying that it might not have been to your taste, and instead of saying sorry, he continued on. Instead of merely thanking us and greeting our feedback with a small smile, he never acted to compete with a manager by saying "of course you may not know the real taste of food." I was very embarrassed and thanked him and left. I was embarrassed for my guests and wanted to share it especially here. FYI, as long as people like this are working in your sweet place located in a beautiful location, there will not be much development. People who understand customer satisfaction well and can listen to feedback by thanking you will suit you... I do not recommend this place for other guests. The price is a little higher than normal, but the service quality is very low. If you do not want to ruin your day, stay away from this place. . . Recommended with all my heart. Despite the “full house” we still managed to get a seat. All contact with the employees was cordial. And then the food... really great. The smell of the drain was only unpleasant at times in the outdoor seating area. From our side: 100% recommendation

So this restaurant is definitely worth 5 stars, we were there and had great food, the service was very good, unfortunately I forgot my camera otherwise I would have uploaded pictures. You can say with a very clear conscience that everything is fine and there are no worries Going out to eat is highly recommended. Keep it up, we'll come back sometime when we're in Cologne

Food could not be better! The salmon and schnitzel were fantastic, as was the cremebrulee. Recommend highly - be sure to make a reservation!

Visited this lovely restaurant as a last-minute decision on a Wednesday at 17:30. The restaurant was already nearly full, but they kindly sat us for an hour slot and fit us in. The food was fresh and delicious, and my husband and I both ate our plates entirely. I had the original schnitzel, and he had the sea bass. It was reasonably priced and some of the best food we've had on our trip all around Germany.

It was just great. The food. The owner. So friendly. I wanted to take a photo of the food, but it was sooooo delicious. That was the photo forgotten.

Busy restaurant serving authentic cuisine that is not too expensive. As tapas we had the meatballs in tomato sauce and the fried courgettes, which were really good. The wiener schnitzel is a must. Highly recommended.

Definitely go here, not the expensive and tasteless restaurants near the river!! Go twice!! I've been to Germany more than ten times, and for the first time, I felt that the previously boring German food was delicious!! If you want to have some "good" german food, this is the place. Do not waste your time looking around expensive low quality foods near the river.

We spent a short weekend in Cologne over Easter. Because of the good reviews, we reserved a table at Brücken. It was so good that we went there again the next evening with friends. Everything was just right. We chose several dishes from the small menu and were not disappointed. Everything is simply delicious. Very nice service and good wine. When we come back to Cologne, we already know where...

I highly recommend it to everyone! We ordered in advance, we were late, they kept a table for us for an hour. The very center of the city, the owners are a married couple, they are also waiters. Small hall size, 7 tables. The quality of the food prepared is excellent! There is a collaboration with a Greek company that supplies them with wine (they also painted the walls). We had a great dinner! I recommend to everyone! Check for 4 people with a bottle of merlot 200 euros.

Everything is just right here! A cute little and cozy restaurant. The food was all freshly prepared, brought hot and was extremely tasty? We were served by the owners and that was really great! They are also fun to have and completely natural 😊 The portions are large and you will definitely be full! Price/performance is absolutely right. If we come to Cologne again at some point, we will definitely eat here again. But you should reserve well in advance.

So, first of all, the food was reaaalllyyy good. All the dishes we're very flavourful with interesting contrasting flavours. The restaurant was really inviting and confy. The only thing that didn't went well was the time it took for our order to come. We waited for an entire hour, but there was a very big group in another room, so it might have been because of that. The food was so good that I would feel bad giving 4 stars, so here's 5

What a spectacular meal to close my first visit to Cologne! I had tried to visit this restaurant on my first night in town but by the time I got to the restaurant after a fairly long trip made of many legs, the kitchen had just closed. I set my mind on in coming back a few days later, on my only "free" night. Now that I've done it I can say that I couldn't have made a better choice! The personnel is welcoming, gentle and incredibly efficient. They offered the type of warm familiarity that I love. The menu is not overly long but it has exactly the things that I wanted. I struggled to choose what to order. I landed on a dish very similar to what I had days before. But I had seen a picture in the reviews of another local guide and wanted to try. I was rewarded with an incredibly rich plate that seemed prepared by a loving grandma. The balance of flavor between the schnitzel and the mushroom cream was perfect. The potato sliced and pan fried were cooked to perfection to the point that I felt I had to document with a picture how many "breadcrumbs" of perfectly roasted potatoes I could find in my plate. Basically every bite was a special gift of taste. I really enjoyed the mini starter with spreadable butter with garlic and herbs that felt light like a foam. Will definitely go back when again in Cologne!

Excellent evening with delicious meat cuisine and a top wine list

A very small, stylish and friendly restaurant. It was the last day of our trip and before going to the airport, we went tired (we were shabby and not suitable for the ambience of the restaurant😌), without a reservation. There was no room but they helped at the bar. The bread and garlic butter from the front are delicious. We both got veal schnitzel. The salad, potatoes and everything was great. I definitely recommend but make a reservation :)

I was there on Valentine's Day with my two friends. It was a really nice evening. It's a nice little, extremely cozy restaurant with a very nice ambience. The food was great. It tasted very good and was technically very good. I can only recommend. I had the Wiener Schnitzel with fries. Very friendly staff and above all very attentive. We felt very comfortable. However, you should reserve a table. It was very well attended, which also speaks for the quality of the restaurant. Greetings again to the entire team with two thumbs up. 👍

Great service, great food… always happy!

While traveling for business to Cologne we walked down from the Marriott for dinner about 5:30. We were sat quickly, picked out an amazing wine, some appetizers and stared looking through the menu. Service was amazing, food was outstanding, so local and fresh! We will certainly be back on the next trip! Loved it…

I visited with a friend we tried the schnitzel which I liked and I recommend to try it the salad was fresh with nice dressing the filet was delicious and at the end we ordered for sweet creme brulee which we didn't like it would be good to book a table because the shop is small and you might not find a table.

When we were looking for a restaurant near the hotel, we came across Brücken because of the many good reviews. We had a very nice stay. The homemade aperitif is highly recommended. The food was great - as was the service. We felt very comfortable and will come back when we are in Cologne.

Nice friendly small restaurant in winter. About 6-7 tables, menu is fairly short but changes regularly - a good sign. Comprehensive wine list with glasses as well as bottles at reasonable prices and nice wine glasses. Large portions for main course - beware! but light dessert.

We came across this restaurant by chance and relied on the good reviews. We weren't disappointed, quite the opposite. Both the starter and the main course were incredibly delicious. The restaurant is rustic and beautiful. The waitresses are incredibly nice, courteous and friendly. The wine recommendation was great.

Yesterday we spent a lovely evening with very good food in a cozy atmosphere. We were there with the family (there were 12 of us in total). It's rare that everyone is really happy with the food, especially with such a large group. Unfortunately there aren't that many vegetarian dishes, but there was still something for everyone. Everything was really great here. The food was on point and the service was very friendly and nice. Many greetings to your entire team.

Charmant restaurant met zeer vriendelijke mensen. Het eten is gevarieerd en zeer lekker. Lekkere wijn. Wel een koud tochtje van de deur die open gaat maar verder een gezellig kader.

Great, small restaurant. Service and food were both excellent. We would definitely return. The entrees come with several side dishes so unless you are famished, there’s no need to order an appetizer.

Delicious food and wide selection. They also accommodated my English, which I appreciate. Unfortunately, the service was mediocre for me. I arrived at a quiet time during the week and focus seemed to be more on cleaning up. I was also seated in the worst spot by the door even though it was empty. Nothing terrible, but wasn't the 5-star experience I was hoping.

Wirklich unglaublich leckeres Essen!!! Ich hatte das rosa gebratene Lammrückenfilet, Fleisch 10/10, Kartoffelgratin 10/10, Gemüse 15/10. Sogar meine Freundin, welche normalerweise keinen Brokkoli mag, fande ihn sehr sehr gut. Wirkliches nettes Personal und ein Topservice.

Alles war auf den Punkt und schmackhaft!! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen sicher wieder! Wir werden nicht wieder 3 Jahre verstreichen lassen um zurück zu kommen. We didn’t make a reservation, but the owner was able to fit us in. I would recommend a reservation. Had the calamari and zucchini as appetizers. The lamb main dish was excellent.

Wir kommen aus Berlin und waren heute hier Essen, haben uns super wohl gefühlt, der Service war super und das Essen war unfassbar lecker. Wir mussten nicht lange warten und wurden super bedient. Sind noch ein paar Tage in Köln und kommen auf jedenfall nochmal her.

I had the lamb skewers and my husband enjoyed the grilled octopus. Both meals were superb! The proteins were expertly cooked and the accompanying salads were fresh and tasty . The thyme potatoes complimented the other dishes to a T. The service was impeccable!! I highly recommend this restaurant!

Kleines aber feines Restaurant, etwas abseits vom Trubel in Köln in einer Seitenstraße gelegen. Der Musicaldome ist fußläufig in ein paar Meter erreichbar, so dass wir direkt nach dem Essen in die Vorstellung dort gehen konnten. Das Essen war sehr lecker und vor allem das Personal war super freundlich. Preis-Leistung war absolut in Ordnung und das Ambiente war okay. Im Gesamten auf jeden Fall eine Empfehlung und wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

Wir hatten Glück und haben gestern um 17:30 ohne Reservierung gerade noch einen Tisch bekommen. Service war sehr nett. Der Oktopus war der beste, den ich je gegessen habe - absolut perfekt! Auch der Dip, der vorab serviert wird, war hervorragend. Freue mich schon auf meinen nächsten Besuch in Köln, damit ich wieder im Restaurant Brücken essen gehen kann.

Ein guter Freund sagte mir einst! : Als die Menschheit noch in den Bäumen lebten , hatten die Griechen schon Cholesterin ! Und der Grund ist Chefkoch und Besitzer Grigoris !!! Also ich bin jedes Mal von seinem Essen begeistert! Ich würde mir mal wünschen bis zu Hauptspeise zu genießen, aber die Vorspeisen erlauben es einfach nicht!! Endlich mal ein Grieche meines Vertrauens( ich: Türke😂) .. sehr zu empfehlen! Weiter so!

Sehr zu empfehlen jede Speise schmeckt dort und das schöne Ambiente mit einem der tollen Weine dort verleiht dazu die Zeit zu vergessen und ein unfassbar tollen Abend zu haben . Die Speisen sind alle frisch und werden zügig an den Tisch serviert

Wir haben ohne Reservierung an einem Samstagabend spontan noch einen Tisch bekommen können. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Es ist klein aber fein. Wir haben bei guten Wetter draußen sitzen können. Man sitzt direkt an der Straße, allerdings wem dies nicht gefällt, man hat ja freie Wahl. Das Essen war frisch, es hat uns gut geschmeckt, es war schön angerichtet und wir mussten nicht lange warten. Zudem war alles sehr sauber und gepflegt.

Von außen wirkt das Restaurant recht unscheinbar, allerdings lohnt sich sein Besuch allemal: Die Speisen waren nicht nur flott gebracht, hübsch angerichtet und angemessen portioniert, sondern auch sagenhaft geschmackvoll - einfach lecker! Positiv abgerundet wurde unser Besuch durch die sehr gastfreundlichen Restaurantbetreiber, die sehr authentisch und zuvorkommend ihren Gästen gegenüber sind. Bei meinem nächsten Besuch in Köln werde ich daher auf jeden Fall wieder ins Restaurant „Brücken“ einkehren und kann dieses daher auch uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Buen restaurante ambiente familiar

Very nice restaurant with mainly greek food. They have german food as well, but on top of that the most important thing is that the food is really good. Very tasty, well cooked and with an enough amount. We got dinner outside as the inside is very small and they got no space. Inside looked nicer than outside because you’re on a street where cars are passing by, but it was still ok. Pricewise correct.

Sehr schönes Ambiente, Essen lecker.

We ate outside in this quiet neighborhood restaurant near our hotel. The grilled land skewer dinner was wonderful. The lamb was cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious. My husband had a stuffed ground beef dish. He said the accompanying salad and tzatziki sauce taste really good with the meat. The servers were so friendly. The bread basket comes what a fabulous creamy sauce that is flavored with basil and garlic. The wine list has a lot if choices.

Wir waren gestern das erste Mal zufällig da. Super leckeres Essen und sehr freundlicher Service. Wir waren zu 5 Personen und haben gerade so noch einen Aussenplatz bekommen. Wir haben uns alle sehr wohlgefühlt und werden mit Sicherheit wiederkommen. Eine klare 5 Sterne Empfehlung.

Das essen war ausgezeichnet und insbesondere das Fleisch perfekt zubereitet! Die Portionen waren sehr ansprechend angerichtet und der Preis absolut gerechtfertigt.

Hatten nach dem Besuch im Moulin Rouge einen sehr leckeren Abend. Das Essen schmeckt fantastisch und der Service ist wie in der Speisekarte angekündigt sehr sehr herzlich und total nett. Kommen bestimmt mal wieder vorbei.

We came here for an evening meal on a not too busy weekday. There is seating inside and outside. The service was very efficient and the waiting staff were attentive, friendly and spoke very good english. Our food was quick to arrive, came with generous portions and was delicious! I highly recommend trying one of the schnitzels. Food is modestly priced, for two of us having a starter, drinks and mains came out to around €40. The toilet facilities were immaculate, very clean and spacious. If you find yourself in cologne looking for some good German food, this is a great place to stop by.

We came here on a busy Saturday evening without a reservation. We knew a table was unlikely but they kindly managed to fit us in. The food was excellent and the service was very friendly. Highly recommended!

Vriendelijke bediening, schnitzel was lekker en mals. Mooie plek om hier op het terras te eten.

Klein aber fein. Es gibt wirklich nicht viele Tische und deshalb ist es besser zu reservieren. Aber es lohnt sich. Vom Haus gab's zuerst frisches Brot mit Basilikum Aioli. Das war schonmal sehr lecker. Als Hauptgericht hatten wir den Spargel, einmal mit Lachs und einmal mit Kalbsschnitzel. Ich kann nicht sagen was besser war. Der Spargel und die Kartoffeln waren genau richtig bissfest...mmmh. Als Nachtisch haben wir uns die Creme Brulee. Da war 1 Portion für uns beide locker genug, obwohl sie ausgezeichnet war. Dazu freundliche Bedienung und eine angenehme Atmosphäre. Insgesamt ein sehr gutes Dinner. Empfehlenswert

Wir waren zu dritt dort und hatten einen leckeren und gemütlichen Abend! Super netter Service und tolles Essen. Wir hatten das Schnitzel mit Champignons überbacken. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Sind spontan auf der Durchreise auf dieses Lokal gestoßen. Es war einfach Klasse! Die Bedienung einwandfrei und das Essen ebenso . Sehr leckeres und frisches Essen. Eine große Auswahl an weinen und eine kleine Auswahl an verschiedenen Speisen - was sehr gut so ist. Das Restaurant ist recht klein, aber nicht eng. Eine Reservierung ist definitiv empfehlenswert.
